Bathroom was dirty and there was mold in the ceiling. Carpeting was dirty and horrible. There were no cups for coffee in the morning, nor were there any muffins or pastries. My daughter and I were very disappointed. When I hear Extended Stay, I think of a clean room and that is not what we experienced. Im waiting for a refund. This was a really bad hotel experience.

Thank you Mari for all of your help and catering to us when we needed you most! Also would like to thank Elizabeth, Roxy, Juan, Miguel and the rest of the staff for coming in and cleaning/repairing the room as needed. Great location from restaurants to shopping centers. Also has a great on site laundry room. The bed was very comfortable. San Dimas Extended Stay has been a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I just spent two nights with our two cats at extended stay America, San Dimas, California. It is a beautiful community and lots of places to eat nearby, and the hotel was clean and sufficient for our needs. We had everything needed with our little room, and a kitchenette And the staff was very helpful. Especially Miguel, who helped us with some problems getting into our room when the key didn’t work and also the lovely front desk staff were most accommodating. Sure it is not The Ritz, but that’s not its purpose! A lot of people with dogs and cats stay there and it is not a high priced place, but it was clean and neat and safe, and in a very nice area. Thank you ESA!

How do you have a paid for reservation and an hour after check in time we were informed there were no rooms!?? This is exactly what happened to us. We were in town for a funeral and during the funeral we get a message theres no rooms available! We called right after the service and this was already 5:30 pm.Extended stay phone bank operator answered and could not get ahold of the front desk in San Dimas. No one answered. We were told to go there directly which we did as they saw we did have a paid for reservation that we booked 2 weeks in advance. Upon arrival as we waited in the lobby to check in, we noticed the absence of air conditioning. A dingy feel was permeating the entry way.We went to check in and as the girl Maddie at the front desk found out who we were she said didnt you get my message we have no rooms! We told her we had paid for a king room but she had apparently sold it off. There were no queens available either. What good is making a reservation if this hotel doesnt accommodate you? She took great delight in her snarky nasty attitude that we needed to go.Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere!

Been a road warrior for over 20 years and have been staying at Extended Stays each time for a minimum of 6 weeks each time with only a week of home time in between travels. This location by far is the worse. No cleaning of rooms, for bed linen, no clean towels when you need to exchange and no kitchen ware. Going into my 3rd week with none of the common amenities, nor a concern by the management or staff to provide these items or let you know if and when available. I was even told to go buy my own things. Real nice customer service that person had. Never again. This stay has prompted me to make arrangements elsewhere going forward.

For many of us here @ ESA SD has become a temporary housing.A few of us forgot and/or choose not to innerstand that ESA SD Management and Staff are nothing like a Apartment Complex Management and/or Staff!Management does not pass judgment, non bias towards guests. What ever challenges may arise, they have always upheld integrity, remarkable attitudes. We take them for granted!ESA SD professionalism is Solid and Structured.Yet Management Duo- Elizabeth and Mari are a bunch of types of amazing,Of course their team:GSRs*Gene*Roxy*Kayla*Juan*Martha*MAIN*Miguel*HKs*Melisa*Andres*Brenda*Kristal*NGLAs*Mario*Clay*Night Security Guard*Anthony* (Private Company)Appreciate all of you!

Please read -Giving this hotel 5 stars not because its the Ritz-Carlton but because staff is trying their best with what they got. Upper management only cares about high ratings and uses 5-star reviews to educate their decisions. Corporate offices should be ashamed of their restrictive budgets and restrictive scheduling. How do you expect resort quality on a skeleton crew? If youre really only going to give them $1,200 a month to spend on towels and sheets and only one crew member on site at peak hours, youre failing your clientele and your staff. Its an Extended Stay America. If youre worried about the old carpets, outdated decor, and simple breakfast snack bar, you should ask yourself why its $100 cheaper than the Mariott. Be real. Fork out some more cash if youre going to be a big baby about it.Anyway, this particular ESA is alright. I liked the exterior. Theres a cute pathway into the lobby and good landscaping. I liked that there was a small grassy area for guests to relieve their animals. It was stocked with doggy bags so they could pick up after themselves. Side note: If youre the type of person that leaves your dogs feces on the grass, risking someone else stepping in it, or expecting staff to pick it up (again, only one person on site) I hope you get a flat tire.Yes, the interior has its issues. My door wasnt working so I went downstairs and offered to change out the batteries myself since I didnt want to make the staff walk away from their ridiculous list of responsibilities. (Which other hotel chain makes a front desk representative do laundry, AND do dishes, AND inspect rooms, AND check people in, AND clean the lobby?)My room had no bath towels because, again, corporate offices do not provide ESAs with enough funds to replenish their inventory. I went downstairs and picked up a couple, no biggie. Bathroom sink didnt drain so I just used the kitchen sink. Again, why am I going to create a fuss about this? Dont they have enough on their plate? TV remote wasnt working so I just went and switched out the batteries. I feel like I left this place better than I found it. Its called being a compassionate human being.Special shout-out to Kayla for checking me in, overnight fellow (forgot his name, Im so sorry) for helping with my TV remote, and Marivel for checking me out. You cant knock down this staff! Theyre the real heroes here. 5-star customer service. 0-star company.

Room filthy, obviously housecleaning doesnt bother. Broken microwave, loose toilet seat, shaky towel rack. Childs dirty handprints, spit, and face prints all over the cabinets and window. Slow bathtub drain, some kind of funky stuff on the bed skirt. Woodwork and cabinets rotted out, cigarette stains on bathroom counter, ripped curtains and broken curtain rod.ALTHOUGH THEY SAY THEY DO ON THEIR WEBSITE, THEY DO NOT SUPPLY DISHES AND UTENSILS IN THE KITCHENETTE, OR FREE BREAKFAST. The only reason i booked a two night stay here even though i know how the area is, is because i needed a kitchen to cook for my husband after he gets off work, WE ARE NOT ON VACATION, and after paying full price AND a pet fee, i figured they wouldUp all night paranoid about bugs, I went to the front desk to inform manager about the terrible shape of the room in the morning. She seemed concerned at first and then said bottom line, what do you want? How can we rectify this? I explained that MY room was now cleaned with clorox wipes by myself and I got a new microwave, not worth the move for just one more night. My house is under construction here in San Dimas.I asked if she had a king size bed studio available in the part of the hotel where they take more interest in guests satisfaction and i asked if i was placed in the area for the government assisted staying. The location is near the freeway and EVERYONE knows they live near the 57 over pass in the bushes and behind buildings. Ive been told by law enforcement that when they get their checks or hotel vouchers they stay in Motel 6, a block away, or here.Manager got offended and said they wouldnt put a trader Joes in a bad area Wow, really??? Thats your snickery response? The outside of this hotel is filthy and terribly kept and pretty smelly. Trader Joes is in san dimas but in a completely different area. Ive lived in San dimas all my life and its an absolutely wonderful law enforcement loving community, but this spot is where the homeless are gravitating to. Theres fast food restaurants galore and beggers in the shopping center.I had a legitamate question. Yesterday I saw a couple very nice seniors and professionals ON THE OTHER SIDE.Lets face it, any intelligent person would see that I had a valid point but she was beginning to look at me with empty eyes and plugged up ears. Why? Because either shes falling down on her job as THE MANAGER OF THIS HOTEL, or shes lying to me about seperate areas after putting me on the no cleaning, no accommodation, no respect side.I left at 10am to check on my home construction, and take the dog to the park. After getting tired of fussing with my TV remote because the part that clips on the back to hold the batteries in is missing a small part, I went down to ask for another remote and another towel. I have one towel on the floor in the kitchen and one under maggies water and food bowl to keep the already dirty floor from getting gross. My husband is coming today after work and needs a towel to shower. The guy at the front desk said they have no more remotes and taped the batteries in. Ok. Then he said I had to bring my dirty towels down before I can get another one!!!!!!!!!! BRING MY DIRTY TOWELS TO THE FRONT DESK IN ORDER TO GET ANOTHER CLEAN FRESH TOWEL AFTER PAYING EXTRA FOR A DISGUSTING ROOM!!!!!!!!Look, if your lucky, you may get a nice room reserved for special guests or something and how thats determined Im not sure, but I have a dog and they charged me full price for her too, then put me in this dilapidated filthy room.I just told him you guys charged me 50 more for my ESA (not a full service dog but trained and certified anyway) and cant give me another towel without making me go get my dirty ones? The guy at the front desk went to the back and slammed the door.this is by far the worst hotel stay Ive ever experienced in my life!

I stayed in a queen suite with 2 pullout beds. Upon going to sleep for the night I realized that nethier pullout beds had bedding on them or in the room. A called to the front desk and they said I was only allowed 1 blanket and I needed to go get it. SoI had to get dressed and go downstairs. I was able to get 1 set of sheets and 2 blankets for the 2 pullout beds. Upon returning to the room I remembered I didnt ask for pillows. So another call was made down to the front desk to find out there were no pillows to give. The hotel was not sold out so how did they not have enough bedding or pillows for beds I was paying for. Luckily there were spare towels that were used as pillows. Also there were no black out/thick curtains only sheer curtains the room was facing east (sunrise side) so the sun was right into the room at 6am on a Sunday morning. Then after going to the sorry excuse for a breakfast where there was not even warm bottles of water. So I then needed to go to the vending machine where I tried multiple times to purchase water and the transaction would not go through. Then after talking to the front desk he advised me that it had not been working for a week and a half. Honestly worst stay at a hotel ever!!!! I will never stay at another Extended Stay America and will never recommend them to friends or family!!!
