I am very impressed by Express Employment agency. Sade helped me out big time when I had been looking for work since last September. I just discovered them a couple weeks ago and they found me a job right away. Sade was so wonderful and helpful. So was Val but I didnt deal with her as much as I did with Sade. They are very professional and friendly and courteous. I definitely would refer family and friends to this agency as well as return if I ever needed two in the future.

I had the fabulous Ms. Holguin, who made the process from applying to getting the job as smooth as possible. Ms. Holguins customer service and communication skills are top notch. I am fortunate to have used Express Employment (South Pasadena) for both hiring employees and now as an actual employee myself. I knew they were very careful and vetted employees when I needed to hire someone as every temp we had thru express employment we hired permanently when the contract expired. Now on the other side of the coin, I became unemployed and Val in the South Pasadena branch found me an amazing job so fast. She helped me thru the whole process, negotiated an amazing hourly rate and even got me hired on permanently before my contract was up because I mentioned to her that my husband was laid-off and I needed to find alternate medical insurance. I cannot say enough about Express Employment and especially Val in South Pasadena. Customer service seems to be a dying art but not at Express Employment. Try them out as an employee/employer - you will not regret it.

This is got to be the most unprofessional unorganized place to even try to do business. I have tried calling up and they never respond to any of my calls, let alone my texts. Avoid if you are wanting to actually get a job. I would go into details but decided I didn’t want to waste my time. Already wasted 2 1/2 months with these guys. Constantly having to check in with them to get anything done. After 2 1/2 months they ask if I would be interested in a job for $16/hr if that became available. My resume has over 8 years of upper level management. I haven’t made less than 72k in almost a decade. I did give the option of as low as $18/hr and they still can’t manage. This place has no employers utilizing them. The reviews are misleading. I would give them a 0 if I could. They are disorganized as they can’t even keep track of their clients. They are unprofessional. I wouldn’t be surprised if this location is on the verge of a complete staffing overhaul. Don’t utilize the Pasadena Express Employment. Try other agency’s or the express in other cities.

Excellent customer service and they treat each of their clients as if they are their only client and are always willing to help with whatever questions we have. My experience here has been horrible. I am already signed up with Express in Pasadena and have been calling non stop looking for employment but no one at this location answers the phone. The voice message says to text the phone number for a faster response but it seems as though its just an automated response. Durning this worldwide pandemic you would think the employment agency would understand the need of immediate work. I would not recommend this location.

I went on a Friday morning with appointment at 10am. I went through the entire hiring process which took about 2 hours. They make you take math tests and watch videos etc. Very time consuming. The interior smelled like humid carpet very bad. Anyways I stayed and I was offered a job from Jeremy for a nearby location he claimed he would contact me back with job details later in the day. Its been 3 days and he never got back to me. I had to contact agency repeatedly and they ended up saying the job was taken. I feel like they shouldnt promise jobs if they are not gonna follow through. Not professional.

They then scheduled me an interview with an employer the following Tuesday.The supervisor, staffing consultants, and the front desk all share the traits of exemplary courteousness and professionalism. At the beginning of June, I called and spoke with Greg. I believe hes one of the owners. First of all, I was put on hold 3 times during our conversation, so clearly need help in their office. As I explained my situation, he was not listening as I had to repeat myself several times. He then told me I should probably call their other office in Covina I think. He suggested this when I said I would prefer to work east of where I am (Pasadena area) but would consider downtown or west if necessary. He seemed pretty distracted and not very interested in helping me. My resume is a bit unconventional, but not without skills and experience. Thirty years experience in customer service. He told me to email my resume to him and hed review it and wed get together and talk. Its now the middle of July, and I still havent heard anything. Clearly Greg did not want my business or to offer to help as is his business. There are other agencies out there that will help. This agency is a joke.
