There are not enough good things I can say about Christian and his team at Expert Auto Care.I called right before a holiday weekday/weekend [July 4], and he was able to fit my van in when I had an emissions system warning came on the night before. Christian fit me in between his other clients on an extremely busy day to get my van checked out so I could go on my trip and help ease my mind about the error on my van.I have been in the Bay Area for 3 years and am so glad to have found my go-to mechanic from now on. I have been to many others around the area, and Christian has had the best customer service. His shop is extremely clean, and you can tell he takes pride in his business.He can do oil changes on all vehicles, so no job too big or too small, it seems for them!I highly recommend Expert Auto Care for any and all repairs and maintenance. He has the skilled labor and the heart that a great business needs.Thanks Christian and the team at Expert Auto Care!!You have earned a repeat customer!

Christian is professional, polite, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful! I was looking for a mechanic near Palo Alto as my mechanic sold his business, and yelp reviews brought me to Expert Auto Care and Christian. He explained everything very carefully, and recommended a great body shop for some other work that needed to be done. I wish Id found him sooner, and cannot recommend him highly enough!

Expert Auto Care is run by Christian who was previously at MPG Auto. He is the reason they received five stars with thousands of reviews. I will be sending all the familys cars to Expert Auto Care because Christian is trustworthy and helpful. The technicians know what they are doing and are highly efficient. So happy to give them my business.

The last of a dying breed. A rare gem. I challenge you to find another mechanic shop in the Peninsula that is as good as Expert Auto Care. Theres not much I have to say that hasnt already been said. But Ill just share some brief things about my experience.First, just about everybody charges a fee for an inspection. It doesnt matter what youre getting inspected, they charge a fee. I called Expert Auto Care inquiring about an inspection, spoke with Christian, told him what I needed done. At the end of the call I asked him how much would it cost? He said nothing.I said nothing? He affirmed. There has to be a catch, right? I took my car in and reiterated what I needed to get inspected. Christian said his mechanics would take a look and hed get back to me later in the day. He calls me back, said everything checks out. Was extremely thorough, went through all of my concerns and addressed what was fine with the car and why it was fine. Lots of excellent information, but the moment of truth. I walk in to pick up the car and I ask him, how much do I owe you? He said again, nothing. I actually asked if I could pay him anyways and he told me no. What! Again, go find another mechanic that is this honest. I doubt they exist.His rationale? He said that theyre not doing any work on the car, so why would I pay for anything? An inspection is just seeing what might be wrong with the car. He said if I liked my experience, I can always come back later to get service or work done on the vehicle. Christian, Ill be back! Thanks so much for your help with the inspection.

Long overdue review. Christian and team have been maintaining the family fleet for years.Would not go anywhere else. Cars are well maintained to run trouble free and I am never oversold unnecessary services. In the event a car needs repair, the team is there to get us back on the road quickly. Thinking of adding a different car to your fleet? I always get general direction on make and model reliability before I shop and always have the car checked out before I buy.Do you have a reliable mechanic that knows you and knows your cars? I know I do.

It is so rare to find people who not only do an excellent job but who also embody strong ethics and consistently care for their customers. Christian runs his business exceptionally well, he is always very transparent, hard working and reliable. Plus, hes super friendly, even when things get hectic, and he takes the time to explain his work. I always learn something new and useful about my car. I went to Expert Auto Care based on a recommendation in my neighborhood group. A battery cable was loose and I thought I’d drop in and see if they could fix it.Turns out they are appointment-only but they very kindly fixed the loose cable right then and there and did not charge me for it.I then scheduled a check-up for my (old) car because when I got an oil change recently at an oil change place near me, they gave me a big list of things that supposedly needed to be done.Express Auto Care again went above and beyond and told me that nothing was really necessary unless the car failed the new smog requirements that are supposed to be coming out soon.I truly appreciated all the time they took with my car - highly recommended.

Christian (from MPG auto in mountain view) is outstanding! He has been helping all of my family with our cars for > 10 years. He is the only person I would trust because he is hardworking, knowledgeable, reasonably-priced, and, honest. I know that whenever I bring my car to him, the issue will be fixed to the best of his ability and he checks to make sure everything is working properly. He goes above and beyond by telling me where I might be able to save $ vs. which things are imperative to fix. As someone who does not know a ton about cars, he takes the time to explain things to me and never judges me for asking basic questions. He is courteous and very connected to all of his clients and truly cares about getting them.

I’m so grateful to meet the shop owner, Christian. He is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He gives detailed explanations and honest advice on my car. No upselling, very transparent and trustworthy. Highly recommended!

This is indeed great service from Expert Auto Care!!! My husband found this place via Yelp. We went there in Mar 2024 the first time. It indeed deserves the high 5 score. The entire experience from booking until service/maintenance completion was great! Its excellent job that the maintenance covers everything which is needed, but not recommends things thats not needed(which usually we have seen in the dealers in the past). We regretted that we should have checked Yelp and found the Expert Auto Care much earlier so that we do not waste time and money in other places in the past few years.
