The poor reviews are unfortunately very right for this location. By far the worst experience I have ever had at a medical facility. It seems like the doctors and staff are in training.I visited this location over a week ago due to symptoms that turned out to be a contagious virus. It took 10 days of calling and being put on hold because they couldn’t give me my diagnostic since DR.Mike was never available to review the lab results: when I finally got a hold of him today (10 days after my lab work was ready) he came on the phone told me the name of the long medical term name of the virus I had and told me to google it: when I asked if he could tell me anything about how it’s acquired or what I should to resolve it, he told me he had to go because he had a call to get too. 10 seconds into speaking with him. I was NOT worthy of his time is what I felt like.I had to come into the office to demand my lab results so I can now take it to another doctor because I do NOT feel at ease with this diagnostic.the quality of un professionalism this location had with me was very unsettling. And I pray you guys do better because we as patients are seeking the men and women who took an oath to help us resolve our medical needs.

Doctors and staff are always great!UPDATE: I had to update my review about a specific staff member who went above and beyond to remedy my condition. Practitioner Mrs Michel Wall dealt with my condition for 2 months until she found a medication that worked. I couldn’t get a sooner appointment with my primary doctor so Mrs Wall, NP stayed diligent on my case each time I went in to Exer Urgent Care. She was personable, caring, and funny. I can’t say enough positive things about this amazing medical professional! If I could give 20 stars to her and this facility I would!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Dr. Smyle is THE BEST!! I have never been treated so well by a doctor and his staff!! I came in with lacerations on 3 of my fingers, (hedge cutting accident) After initially being turned away from another Urgent Care center, another one was closed, luckily we finally found this one at about 8:00pm (when they close) and bless Dr Smyle & his entire staffs hearts, they stayed there until 9:45pm, stitching me up, and could not have been kinder!! Such a fantastic, efficient, personal, friendly, wonderful doctor and staff, I will highly recommend this Exer location to everyone I know!! I just love Dr Smyle, he is THE BEST!!

EXER in branding only. not in actual quality of experience. this place was bought out by EXER and branded to improve perception. but it’s definitely no where close to actual EXER quality. Chronically understaffed. no return calls to messages left. long hold times on phone, and while the person who answers the phones is very nice, she engaged in a conversation about a medical extrapolation of the chart that should not be patient led nor presumptions made by non medical staff. Again the woman was lovely and tried. I suggest this place places more emphasis on training staff and properly staffing up rather than overburdening the existing staff. Until this happens I suggest going to an actual EXER in Newbury Park.

I would give Zero star if I could! We went there last Thursday around 7pm! My husband had stomach cramps, headache, vomiting and dizziness, this Dr. is not professional and knowledgeable at all! First of all, she did not even listen to what we were trying to explain about my husband’s symptoms, the first thing a good Dr. must to do is listening to the patient carefully first!! Then, she scared the hell out of me by keep saying “”“ Sir, sir, I am not trying to scare you, but you look so bad, you don’t look good at all, I am not trying to scare you, but you don’t look ok, I bet you are the kind of person who doesn’t complain much, but you are not feeling well at all, I worked in Emergency room and I can tell when someone is not ok, and you need to go to Emergency immediately, have CT scan”””, Really?!!!! What kind of Dr. You are?!!!! A good Dr. Should first make the patient calm, and not make him more nervous and scared!!!! Also, we are talking about the digestive problems such as stomach cramps, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, vomiting, which I am not a Dr. But atleast I understand these symptoms are possibly related to food poisoning and not a brain tumor!!!!She did not even think of food poising, even we told her that we just came from a trip out of country, because she is the kind of Dr. who doesn’t even listen to the patient!!!The thing made me so upset, it is not because of her fault diagnosis and sending us for the CT scan, it was the way she reacted, very nervous and made us very nervous by keep saying “You look so bad””!!!!!She asked us to go to ER and have CT scan, we decided not to go, and we went to another urgent care, this other Dr. was a great knowledgeable Dr., very calm and recognized that was the food poisoning!Never going to this urgent care again!!!!! Very bad experience!!!

Attended today with my 8yo daughter, who has been there prior with her father. I asked the receptions if she could check in my daughter manually on her end as I did not have her insurance card with me and she had been there before — she was unable to find her with her birthday and asked me for her fathers SSN to look up her insurance after telling her several times the insurance was under my name she asked for my daughters SSN when I returned from getting it from my car she had a print out with my daughter insurance information… didn’t make sense how she found it if she was unable to find my daughter with her birthday. Secondly we waited in the exam room for about 15 min all the while hearing the whole office singing happy birthday to one of the employees. So unprofessional— I belive dr gave false diagnosis as we went in for my daughter having a stomach ache and fever and he prescribed amoxicillin for a ear infection,

Went in at 11:30am and the receptionists were very nice and professional. I was seen within 15 minutes. And 15 minutes later I was out with my prescription that they had instock in their pharmacy. Doctor was extremely nice and friendly. Also while I was waiting in the lobby one receptionist was calling back patients asking them how they were doing. Would definitely recommend.

I had some personal issues arise and she comforted me and gave me water! She explained everything in a great way. Im 27 years old and my stress comes out in crying and I apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused but I want thank Michel immensely!
