The entire staff was so kind. I came in very upset and in a lot of pain/discomfort and they were so wonderful, they checked me in quickly and saw me right away. Brian (the NP I met) made me feel super comfortable and I was honestly surprised that he personally followed up with me the day after my visit. It was one of the best urgent care experiences Id ever had.

The staff at this urgent care are absolutely Amazing! They went above and beyond for my family. From the moment you walk in you can feel your in a good place it’s clean and everyone is very friendly and professional. Due to a family emergency I had to take my two younger sisters as well as myself in to be seen for our colds so we can get well enough to visit our sick Dad in the hospital I had no idea what I was doing being a 24 year old and having to take two sick teenagers to the drs can seem like a huge task the woman at the front desk was super helpful and made the check in process super easy the nurse who took all of our vitals was patient and super friendly and dr Michel Wall was so understanding took us very seriously and even tho we looked like a bunch of crazy kids she treated us with so much respect and made us feel heard and seen people like her are hard to find in today’s medical field I wish she could be my primary care Dr! We sisters are going through an incredibly difficult time dealing with our sick father and the staff at this urgent care had us smiling and laughing so hard we appreciate all of you so much and hope you all the best!!

Everyone we encountered was thourough and very nice. I really appreciate the patience of the person at the front desk. With 3 visits in the last two months for my 5 year old I can say I much prefer running to Exer Urgent Care than her Pediatrician when we are in a pinch. My daughter had debris in her eye and two ear infections which all required immediate care and it has been so convenient to run down on a moments notice and be in and out within 45mins and on our way. The staff, Dr Brian and the other Dr (forgot her name unfortunately) are all very welcoming and fantastic with my 5 year old.

Okay, from the moment I walked in the door I was greeted so nicely. They took care of everything from my phone to my insurance. When I went to the back office there was a nurse immediately who took my vital signs and all my information. Before I knew it the doctor was there and I was out the door. I love coming here.

The staff are nice but the place is horribly managed.Their check in process is the worst o have ever seenand they are so understaffed it took hours for them to process me wheh the place was empty.It turned out to be quite serious. I got Covid. But,What’s worse they forgot about me and left me in the room until I came out and asked what was going on and they said that I could’ve left a long time ago.They didn’t give me discharge papers, and I don’t know if my medication has been sent to the pharmacy

Been here twice, once for my mom and once for myself. My moms visit took 3 hours for something that everywhere else takes about 30-45 minutes. My visit was close to 90 minutes wait just for the doctor to show up, talk to me for little over a minute and leave without even laying a finger on me. He just did a visual inspection of the problem area.

Charged my son upfront for visit when we have great insurance and deductible was met 6months ago. At most they could have charged a $20 copay. Instead charged my son $80 when after insurance adjustments they were only due $12.13 from him. I have been trying to call them to get my $68 refunded but they never answer the phone and voicemail is full. I am going to complain to Visa company and my insurance provide of their unethical practices.

It was quiet when I walked in with my daughter. We were given paperwork and Kim at the front desk provided us with clear instructions on how to fill it out and feedback on which pharmacy was best then swiftly moved us to a room without having to wait. Nurse Jennifer was fun and full of life. She was relating her own children to mine which made me feel comfortable, in a normally uncomfortable setting sitting in an Urgent Care. My daughter was able to laugh as she listened to Jennifer talk about her own girls which took some attention off of her not feeling well. Overall, we had a great experience and I know where to come if I ever need urgent care again.

Went here on a Sunday morning as my daughter wasn’t feeling well. Even though we spent three hours, the staff for extremely professional and caring with her. They were thorough and ran several tests. They found what was wrong. I know a lot of other places may be faster, but I doubt they would’ve gotten to the actual root cause of her illness.

I am compelled to provide this feedback following an egregiously dissatisfying experience at the Moorpark facility of UrgentMED. My encounter with Dr. D. Cole at this facility has revealed a complete disregard for the principles of care, responsibility, and patient focus. The level of carelessness displayed by the physician is only matched by the glaring lack of competence, an unwavering focus on maximizing charges, and a complete absence of genuine concern for patients.Arriving at the facility in the early afternoon after sustaining a hand trauma, I expected a thorough examination and appropriate treatment. However, Dr. Cole barely glanced at the injury, failing to recognize that the pain was not in the finger joint but rather in the middle of the phalange. Instead of addressing the issue accurately, she hastily ordered X-rays without proper justification. It was only through my own inquiry that I questioned the necessity of the X-ray, as the injury clearly indicated soft tissue or ligament damage. Dr. Cole nonchalantly suggested I could opt for an MRI if I desired. Consequently, I was directed to Los Robles hospital, where I wasted an exasperating three hours without receiving the necessary MRI. Seeking clarification on potential treatment options, I returned to the UrgentMED office, only to be met with refusal by Dr. D. Cole herself, who declined to see or speak with me, delegating the message through an assistant at the front desk.To be denied medical care by the very physician who had seen me, albeit without offering any treatment, a mere three hours prior is both shocking and deeply disconcerting. Dr. D. Coles lack of commitment to the quality of her work and her apparent disinterest in providing adequate care to her patients is utterly unacceptable.This terrifying ordeal has unequivocally exposed the lack of quality care provided by UrgentMED. I am taking immediate action to inform my insurance company not to remunerate for services rendered, as I received no service whatsoever.I implore UrgentMED to take this feedback seriously and address the grave concerns raised. The provision of proper medical care, characterized by attentiveness, competence, and respect for patients, should be the cornerstone of any healthcare institution. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience, and I sincerely hope that UrgentMED takes the necessary steps to rectify these glaring deficiencies.

Its just such a treasure in our town to have a place that you can go and get 100% care. Kim the front office gal is amazing and goes beyond with her big heart, Jennifer is really fantastic with her detailed questions and ways to make you feel so comfortable. Dr Smith was amazing and such a breath of fresh air with her probing questions, trouble shooting and natural remedies for immunity building.This group brings a smile and comfort when you need it most. They are all operating in their gifts. Im blessed to have this place in my reach.

I highly suggest you go to Carbon Health, just down the road instead!I waited two hours and the doctor only gave me 30 seconds of her time, even though I was clearly in a lot of pain. No compassion, no reassurance. No instructions were given to me about warnings along with the medication I was prescribed. You deserve better than UrgentMed.They were capable of diagnosing strep throat, so 2 stars for getting the job done.

If I could give this Urgent Care more stars, I would.I brought my senior citizen mom because she fell, and bruised and scraped her knees. The medical team were so attentive, knowledgeable, and caring to my mother. On top of that, she was quick to be seen.She was nervous and they made her feel at home - making her laugh and explaining each step as they went through the medical treatment.They explained us their plan beforehand, explained what we should do after we left, etc. It was explained with such great detail that I had no questions or concerns.I couldnt recommend this medical establishment enough! The whole team is amazing!Thank you!

Rudest doctor I’ve ever encountered (the Middle Aged blonde woman) - doesn’t care about her patients at all. Kept us waiting 40 min even though there was only 1 other person there and they said it was an unusually light day. Didn’t apologize, was super rude and didn’t give any help. Walked out of my room to ask a question and she walked right by me, completely ignored me and then came back and yelled at me to go back to my room.Nurses at front desk were nice and helpful- no complaints about them- but just blown away that a doctor could be so short, inconsiderate and rude to a sick patient. I’ve been here multiple times and all I can say is SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. Inaccurate wait times (quoted 25, waited almost 2.5 hrs), staff who is more interested in getting your insurance billed than providing care (even in acute circumstances), and a maximum of only ONE doctor working at all times they are open- even during flu season. UrgentMed location in Thousand Oaks is far superior.

New management has made it slower…you will sit in the waiting room for 40 min and then sit in the actual room for over an hour…not being seen. Meanwhile the only doctor is doing paperwork while you wait and wait. I get it, he has to do paperwork, but he can also do that when there are no patients waiting. There are down times. Literally doctors usually spend 10 min with a patient, so he really is doing an an 1 hour of paperwork while people are waiting to be seen in the rooms. Never coming here again

My family and I went in today to find out our 7 month old had influenza A and I just had to point out a few things about this urgent care - I’ve never been to such a clean and quiet urgent care! I’ve been to this location a couple times recently. While I appreciate that they take Kaiser, I am very disappointed in Dr Placensia (I think that’s his name). The staff is very accommodating and fast but the doctor seems to hate working there and/or doesn’t enjoy helping people. I’m certain that he could have gotten me out of there in 30 minutes several times but I waited 2 hours each time. And by no means was he friendly or apologetic. He was rude and condescending. If I were to go back, I am going to call ahead and if he is on duty, I’ll go somewhere else.

I came to the office went to the back immediately and was placed in a room. It probably was one patient there before me as all the other room doors were open but one room. Sat there for almost an hour and still the doctor did not come yet. I just got up and left. I feel like the doctors try to make the patients wait so they can bill an 99214 as opposed to a 99213 lol. The place is not as good it was before the new management took over. Under staff members also they only have one doctor working here. This is one of the issue here at this Urgent Care. Also it took 45 minutes to see the doctor and at least 20 to 25 minutes for the nurse to see me. Which there weren’t any other patients at the time when I was there waiting in the room for a very long time. I was very unsatisfied and disappointed.

I was in Simi Valley last week and I fell down some stairs. I was really worried that I had hurt something so I Googled the best urgent care nearby. I didnt want to go to the hospital because that can take forever.   When I walked in I was greeted by Lisa who was extremely nice and she calmed me down. The place was extremely clean and the entire staff was very nice. Thank god there was nothing wrong but a sprain in my wrist. The doctor was very informative and told me everything I needed to know to heel properly. I hope I never need to go back but if I do Im happy they have other locations that are near me. I would recommend this urgent care over any other one in the area.

I had a personal need that no doctor seemed to find a solution for. The symptoms could no longer be ignored and I came to this location and was first helped by Jeanette and Kim. They were amazing with the care and prompt attention I received. I was then helped by the doctor named Dr. Placencia who asked me the perfect questions to help me open my eyes and get help for what I needed. I am not a doctor, Im a sick person who needs help and Dr Placencia was able to help me explain my symptoms. I am very grateful because after this visit I am finally seeking the accurate help to eliminate this torture road of an unknown illness with painfull symptoms. I am just now getting relief that so many doctors could not diagnose. I recommend this place and Dr Placencia to anyone who wants a doctor who listens and wants to help you feel better.

Daughter smashed finger in door. Pediatrician said we needed to go to an urgent care for xrays. 2 good reviews so decided to try this place. Web site said 0 min wait time. Front desk said 30-35 min when we checked in. Filled out paperwork and have insurance info. When I gave it back to young man at front desk he said its gonna be a while because I have lots of stuff to do. After 45 min I checked in at front desk to see what was taking so long. He said he still needed to enter my insurance info into the computer which would be another 5 min. So, in 45 min he hadnt done anything to get us checked in. Finally taken to a room. We were told it would be a couple minutes 30 minutes ago! If you have an urgent situation, do NOT go here, especially with a child in pain. Unbelievable!

Not sure why this information was not related to us when we called 30 min before ensure they were open. Ever since they changed owners, Ive had nothing but bad experiences.

The reason why I recommend Adult & Pediatric is because aren’t your usual urgent care because you don’t need to wait hours and hours to be treated. The staff takes their time to evaluate your symptoms so they can prescribe you something that actually works unlike other doctors who just want you out the door. Thank you guys for being amazing!

The staff has always been great when I went here or have brought my children here. However, after a recent visit, I was billed an extra $50 more than I normally pay. I️ called the billing department and the center directly and was told that it was an “after hours charge” since I️ came in at 5:30. I️ work for the studios and have very good insurance and Apparently you have to pay an extra $50 that insurance doesn’t cover on top of your co-pay, on top of their regular billing. This policy was NEVER stated to me, posted anywhere, or brought to my attention in any way during my visit. If I️ had known about the extra $50 charge, I would have come back at a different time. I️ was very disappointed to hear about this policy after the fact and that no one would do anything about it to help me. Needless to say, I will not be using this urgent care company again.

Incompetent. Needed a covid test with lab results. Results came back quickly, with the wrong birthday, no passport number, and no demographic info, all of which I provided and any of which would have been helpful to clarify identity of the test taker in the event other details (like birthday) were wrong. Three phone calls the next day, three promises to contact the lab to get it fixed. Zero results. Refused to provide the labs contact info so I could just do it myself. They arent meaningfully different than scam artists selling fake vaccine cards/ test results, except the scam artists charge less and dont put things up my nose.

My husband was playing football and injured his finger, the finger was deformed and swollen. He said it wasnt feeling bad so he ignored it but the pain increased, he called his primary doctor and left a message for an appointment the next day. I insisted he get X-rays since his finger began to bother him and the pain kept increasing. It was a Sunday (11/05/17) afternoon so I crossed my fingers and I googled Urgent Cares in Moorpark. I called ahead to verify they could do X-rays, the staff confirmed and we drove there immediately. When we arrived there was no one in the waiting area, staff was friendly and service was quick. HOWEVER.... The doctor was TERRIBLE. She was rude, condescending with a terrible bed side manner. After the X-rays were done she walked into the exam room and told us his finger was not broken and stated he should see his primary doctor (she sounded like thats what she says to ALL patients in order to cover her behind) then immediately started to walk out of the room. She did not wait to see if we had any questions or concerns, my husband had a couple questions, she answered one as she was leaving and didnt even complete her sentence and walked out. I was shocked how rude she was. A few minutes later a staff member came in and splinted my husbands finger, while he had someones attention my husband requested to see the doctor again since he still had a couple questions. The doctor came back with a annoyed look on her face. My husband said I have a couple questions, her reply was (with a rude and condescending tone in her voice) a couple?!. All he wanted to confirm was that his finger was not broken and if it wasnt broken why it was deformed. She said there was no broken bones and began to raise her voice and said his finger has a hematoma and thats why its deformed. WRONG!!!!! His finger IS broken and his tendon is torn! After leaving the UC we discussed how terrible the doctor was and happy we had already contacted his primary doctor. On Monday, after speaking to the his doctors nurse she referred him to a Hand Surgeon. The UC staff gave us a copy of the X-rays on CD. The Hand Surgeon did his job and looked at the X-rays that were taken at the Urgent Care and clearly saw a broken bone. Im grateful my husband went for an expert opinion and didnt just rely on the lack of knowledge of the doctor at the UC. I will be telling all my friends and family that live in the area to stay away from this place.

Waited for more than 2 1/2 hrs for some testing. After receiving a negatvie rapid test I was told that my symptoms look very like covid (fever; headach; body pain; slight chest burn and pressure; caugh; congestion; slight loss of tast and smell). I was advised to take a flu test to rule that out (came back negative). Last I was told that the rapid test is also know to fail 2 / 10. I was then advised to take a regular covid test because these are more accurate. I was called a couple days later and they told me that my test was negative. I asked what I have since I did not receive an answer through testing or got an answer on how to treat my symptoms. I was told if you still have you symptoms in 2 days go to the ER. Very disappointing. If you want to save yourself a very long wait and actually get some answers you may have to look elsewhere.

I dont understand why if they dont have people why do they take for ever I arrived at 10.27am it 1:35pm 😒 and still no answer will thank god everything came out find on there words when I dont feel good the doctor dint no if I had a infection on my throat she send me to er I can believe it was my worst experience I always brought my kids in there know I have to think about it

We needed to get a covid test today and went to MUC.The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and in less than a half hour, we luckily had our results....negative. I was truly impressed with their operation.

I been to this local urgent care center twice. The doctors here are caring and easy to talk to, all the staff here is extremely professional and nice. Will keep this urgent care on speed dial. Highly recommend.

I was charged $40 instead of $25 and when I complained I was told that they will refund me the whole amount. That was back in August and I didn’t receive anything until now.Never coming back! Plus my 18 months son wasn’t diagnosed right I had to go to another urgent care

EVERYONE was absolutely amazing. I could not thank Jeanette, Brandi and Brian enough. Patient, they listened to everything going on and took the time to get to a root cause and solution. And, NO nausea causing meds for the pain but an alternate option so I can enjoy life was beyond appreciated!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
