We, and our son, had an excellent experience working with EF Specialists. Kinyatta Reynolds, the executive functioning coach assigned to our family, was excellent. Kinyatta provided our son with tools, templates, and processes that helped him become more organized and, most importantly, helped build his confidence. And Kinyatta was helpful to us parents as well, giving us great advice about how to support our son while giving him the space he needed to improve. We wouldnt hesitate to hire Kinyatta and EF Specialists again.

I could not recommend EFS more! My teenager has ADHD and we were really struggling to find ways to keep her on track in a demanding IB high school program without all the negative emotion that comes from parental nagging. I was referred to EFS by a therapist and the process of getting started was quick and painless. My daughter chose Kinyatta Reynolds from her bio write up and the match has been amazing from day 1. Kinyatta has a remarkable ability to gain trust and bond with the client while also creating the kind of positive accountability that keeps the client on track and helps to maintain peace in the family! She has gone above and beyond, helping us to intercede positively with my daughters school as well. During their first meeting, Kinyatta got my daughter to clean her room!!! My husband turned to me and said, this is the best money we have ever spent! I only wish we had found Kinyatta and EFS sooner!

I have had the pleasure of collaborating with EF specialists with our mutual clients. I appreciate their teamwork and dedication in supporting different needs.Ella goes above and beyond in creating positive academic experiences through her encouragement, kindness, teamwork and creativity. Her sessions are very thoughtful and consistent which has contributed to the growth and progress of our clients! Its been a joy for our clients to celebrate their achievements with her as she cheerfully guides them each session.Stephanie, Lindsay, and Gal are great team communicators! This is a testament of their dedication to their clients success. Their effort to make adjustments has created opportunities for growth and independence.Overall, I feel very grateful for all the guidance and support with helping our clients complete tasks with confidence while achieving their goals!

My experience with Executive Function Specialist has been amazing! My son has been working with them for the past two years and his progress has been outstanding. They have exceeded my expectations with his results. Ever since my son has started working with the team his executive function skills and time management skills have improved drastically. Ms. Ella and Ms. Lindsay worked very well one on one with him and Sean along with the rest of his team are great at helping my family advocate for son’s educational needs during IEP meetings. This has been one of the best investments I have made for my sons education, and we look forward to continue working with them.

If homework has become a battle at home I highly recommend EF Specialists. This has been a game changer for my 7th-grade daughter and for our relationship. My daughter is working with Gal, who has been so kind and helpful. My daughter enjoys working with her each week and now has more autonomy with her homework. I can see her confidence growing and it has only been 2 months since we started. I noticed positive changes right away. The executive functioning skills she is learning from Gal are not just helpful for middle school and high school but are life-long skills she will need.

I had a great experience with my EF coach coach Ella Holton-McCoy. My name is Alec, I am 21 starting college and was having a lot of issues commonly associated with adhd regarding time management and decision making. I had 2 weekly meetings with Ella where we discussed what my goals were and the steps I needed to take in order to achieve them. I found our meetings very helpful as Ella provided a lot of great advice that I had not heard prior and made sure to follow up with me whenever necessary which gave me the motivation I needed to stick to my commitments. I would compare the experience to therapy but prefer it because of the focus on goals and regular friendly follow up. I would definitely recommend the experience because the skills that these coaches teach can have a life-changing impact once you improve and develop the ability to implement them on your own.

EF is nothing short of a lifesaver. While unsuccessful with others, EF took the time to really get to know our child, and paired him with tutors that not only met him at his level, but connected with him about who he is and not just what he has done or achieved. It made all the difference as the EF expert we were paired with, Ella, has developed a friendship with our son. He trusts her, and relies on her -- and theres nothing more a parent can ask for than an external source of support that elevates your child, especially when the worlds misunderstandings about ADHD do the opposite. Our son has made IMMENSE progress with Ella and Claire, and it is due to their patience, techniques of meeting kids where they are at, allowing them agency in developing and executing their work plans, habits and practices -- which made all the difference. They do it with love, concern, nurturing, support and keep us parents in the know every step of the way. Ella has been phenomenal in keeping me in the loop and being a great source of support for me in moments where Ive needed support around EF struggles my son is having at home. Even though my son is going to college in a year and a half, Ella is going with him. She and EF have exceeded all of our expectations -- from going to bat with us at 504 meetings, to being flexible with scheduling, to working at our sons pace all the while needing our concerns and his needs. We would be lost without Ella and EF Specialists, truly, and I am beyond grateful for their work with our son. They have helped him treasure and embrace himself just as he is, and helped him navigate the square peg of high school with his perfectly round pegged self.

Kinyatta at EF Specialists is amazing!!! My daughter loves working with Kinyatta, because she’s so funny and friendly. But she is also very organized and helps to keep everything on track with a smile and a sense of humor. I love that, while she’s reasonable and flexible, she holds the kids accountable and encourages self-advocacy and self-sufficiency. We are so glad to be working with Kinyatta!!

We have had the extreme pleasure of Ella working with our daughter who attends UC Davis. Ella has been extraordinary, and an enormous part of our daughters rising confidence, increased competency, and shining success. Ella always goes above and beyond. The rapport and trust she establishes, the kindness she offers, the guidance she provides, the support she maintains, and the wonderful cheerfulness and celebration she exhibits about all kinds of successes are just part of the excellence of Ella. For a little over a year, I have had the pleasure with collaborating with a few of the EF Specialist with mutual clients. Ella has been one of the most influential partners Ive worked with. She has played an integral part in ensuring our clients have met their academic and emotional goals through teamwork and persistence.
