I had an Access database challenge that I spent days trying to fix. I used the Access Community Support and they werent able to fix it either. I was left with no other option than to hire a consultant, which I feared would be expensive. I contacted Excel and Access for help. They promptly gathered my information and scheduled an appointment to look at the problem. I was amazed that within 20 minutes, Stan had identified and fixed the several problems with the database. I will definitely use them again when the need arises. They were professional and the price was right.
Christopher and Bob helped me beyond what I thought was possible. The level of communication and detail as it pertains to the work was outstanding. They even worked over the weekend to make sure I could have the project infront of my bosses before Monday. They handled macros as well as multiple formulas to organize my firms data. A couple years ago, our company needed a better way to repopulate data to various sizes of labels. We were fortunate to find Excel and Access, they were able to develop an Excel program that did exactly what we needed. Over time, our needs have changed and grown. You know that feeling you get when you realize that what you want Excel to do for you and what the people who work with you can do with Excel dont match up? You spend most of the time doing or waiting for the manual entry that the complaints about it seem to be a part of the job. Then it happens, a mistake that will cost you hours due to manual entry or shoddy VBA work.Here is my review of Excel and Access LLC... Hire them! They are not the cheapest, but they are very reasonably priced, extremely quick with both responses and turnaround time, and a overall pleasure to work with. I can definitely say that there will not be another outsourced Excel job without at the minimum including E&A in the process. I expect and hope they win the bid every time!I have worked with freelancers both individual and agencies for years and can say that E&A fall in the fabled Top 1% category. I arranged for two 1.5 hour sessions on Microsoft Excel Tips and Tricks sessions for my organization in January 2021. I am 100% satisfied with the service. Chris and Maria were very responsive to my initial inquiries and helping me with setting up the virtual sessions. This company provide consulting services on various applications and I liked how I was able to customize my sessions by selecting the tips and tricks to be shared- it was 100% customizable.Our trainer, Bob Umlas, was superb in the delivery of both sessions. He provided an Excel workbook and shared his screen to show all the tips and tricks on how to use Excel more efficiently. The sessions were also recorded so that staff could rewatch the lessons again at a later date. Overall I was very please with the companys services and would work with this company again should future opportunities arise.
This was good. I needed to know how to do something in excel and I needed to know right then and there. After not finding the answer online it turned into who can I pay for this information. The team at Excel and Access flew in with their capes and helped me out. And at my request, they even explained it to me after their original explanation to make sure I really got it. The presentation I ended up making was original, the boss loved it and the kudos I received far outweighed the price I paid. Ill keep your info handy for the next time I get stuck.

We are a construction company and needed an excel budget sheet to integrate with a word document that we use on a regular basis. There is a lot of repeat information in the two documents and it took two people and a couple hours to complete. Now, we can just push a button from excel and it automatically fills our word document saving us a lot of time and mistakes. Jacob was very responsive and seemed to work any hour of the day. Im not Pepsi, Amazon or any of their big clients...just a guy with a small, boutique private psychology practice 3,000 miles away in NY. Every time I need these guys they are there...got my project started ASAP, turn around time was amazing and best of all, any and all tweaks were handled ASAP until we got all the bugs out. Admittedly I was afraid wed settle on a price and I might not be able to make edits. But no worries - each and every edit, debug done with a virtual smile and ASAP. I work at Toshiba America Information Systems. Back in 2009, we needed to hire an outside consultant who would redesign the financial model for both Finance and Accounting teams. After careful considerations, we hired Excel and Access, LLC. Over the next 6 months, they designed a model that not only did everything we expected from the model, but also it reduced the time needed to complete our monthly forecast by 50%. They also did such a wonderful job training the staff that over 6 years later in 2016, were still utilizing the same model without a problem. If I ever need to hire a firm to help me with another Excel/Access based model, I will not work with anyone other than Excel and Access, LLC.

I was routed directly to Christopher and Maria Fennell on October 26th, 2020 after calling in to Excel and Access, LLC with an urgent project. Apparently Christopher is the CEO and Maria is the Client Service Manager. I didn’t have a terrible experience within our first few days of communication, but after they came to my first zoom meeting unprepared (after I had sent them substantial information regarding my project to review in advance of the meeting), I was setup for a 2nd meeting the following week. The 2nd meeting went well until the contractor quoted me a price, and then immediately following the meeting, Christopher emailed me telling me he could not fulfill the project based on a comment I had made about how I appreciated the price quoted on our call. He proceeded to tell me they could not honor the price and I pressed him to give me the price he could honor. Over the next 3 email exchanges after asking him multiple times, he refused to give me ANY PRICE for the work and decided instead to treat me with derision and condescension. He knew I had already waited 2 weeks on an urgent project to get to this point and he decided, for no apparent reason to anyone involved (including his Contractor on the same email chain), to refuse me service. He gave a canned email reply saying “thank you for your interest in us” and closed it off. Based on my experience:A) DO NOT expect a rational response from this CompanyB) DO NOT expect to be treated fairly or with any level of consideration in the endC) DO NOT expect your time and directions to be followed clearlyD) DO NOT trust them with your timeThis was an awful experience and I am now 2 weeks behind on a project that absolutely needed to be completed a week ago for the health of my Company.

Putman Media had a Wow experience. We were struggling with a large, critical sales commission worksheet for 15 sales reps. This monthly computation had become a dreaded task because the worksheet was substantially unresponsive. We sent the file to Excel and Access, LLC on Friday. I had an Excel problem that I could not crack without extreme effort on my part. I contacted Excel and Access via email. I received a prompt response then described my problem and indicated that I really wanted to remunerate them for their (Christopher and Jacob) time and effort. Unfortunately cannot recommend. Despite assurances that their consultants were so good that even Microsoft used them, the company simply didnt deliver on time and on budget. They charged a hefty fee insisting this can only be done with macros/VBA (which they did not use!). They did not take steps to protect the original data set, refused to document their approach and methodology, and in general the consultant was rather resistant to doing more than the bare minimum. Ultimately hired another firm who was 1/5 the cost (!!!) and got not just the finished product in record time, but reusable macros/VBA, beautiful charts & graphs, and fully documented approach, and even a proposal to do it in Python instead of Excel! Also the consultant at this competing firm was a joy to work with.

I have tried to do VBA projects in the past with in-house resources and in many cases there were unexpected bugs and issues, so I thought I would try outsourcing to Excel & Access. These guys were fantastic. I blindly sent them an email and within a couple of hours had a response and a quote. While my project was small Jacob had it completed, based on my description, my the end of the day. Usually it takes a couple of tries to get the program right, but the first draft was correct and to my specifications. I will be using them for for future projects.

I was so impressed by their dashboard and datasheets that I asked them who created all of it and they told me it was Excel and Access, LLC. Excel and Access LLCs response to my inquiries were immediate and their turnaround time was quick as well. The work that Jacob did went beyond my boss expectations. We used his work for a presentation to our Board of Trustees and received all positive feedback. I especially appreciate the fact that Jacob was willing to work around my work schedule as I am in Hawaii and there is a 3 hour time difference. Many of our virtual meetings and communication were done during the evenings for Jacob and he still managed to respond quickly and work efficiently. I was tasked with developing an easy way to track our Corporate Training across all departments and positions based on company requirements and hire date. I knew there had to be a way to do it in Excel with formulas, but it was way above my skill set. I contacted Excel and Access, and they listened to my needs and paired me with Jacob. He was very responsive and was quickly able to come up with precisely what I needed. He was great at making the necessary tweaks, including creating a “GENERATE” button in bright red so that I couldn’t miss it. I can now run all of my reports with all of my different conditions with the click of that big beautiful red GENERATE button. After having two other firms take on the project and then bail, I was panicked and desperate to get the project completed in what was now a very tight time frame. I worked with Christopher and Jacob and couldn’t be more delighted with the level of customer service I received. Jacob is extremely knowledgeable, and also incredibly responsive. My e-mails were answered immediately and the project was completed quickly, ahead of my deadline, thanks to his working nights and even over the weekend to get it done. I felt as if I were the only client he was working with at the time! Jacob made a difficult, tedious assignment look like child’s play.Excel & Access are fabulous to work with and are now my go-to for any Excel need, large or small.
