Castifi is a great casting company to work for. Both for background actors and companies who need casting. They are professional, quick, and responsive if needed. For Background Actors you get paid reasonably and in a reasonable amount of time. Can’t say enough great things about them!

Had a great experience. I am so thankful for the easy submission. I recieved text message reminders. I am allowed to update my photos for free. I am so thankful to have found castifi and see the diverse gigs available at no cost. I booked a cool Stand In gig and was auditioned for a JLO music video. Is also booked a Brand ambassador job . I am sent job offers that fit me and I am able to accept easily. Documents can be signed on the app as well.

Everyset is the rudest and most unprofessional group I have ever had the misfortune to work with. I’m not sure what failure of theirs is the most upsetting?1. Not returning any email when asking about the status of the shoot2. Having to find and call the agent’s personal cellphone to be told that the shoot had been scraped, even though you’ve cancelled previously made plans and are waiting around for 2 days to shoot3. Not receiving the COVID Treatment pay that you were personally promised by the agent.4, The agent now claiming that you have to contact EMS to get paid.5. Trying to call EMS, where it is just a voice recording informing you to not leave messages and to contact your agent for issues.6. Telling the agent about EMS, only for them to NOW say that it’s the production company’s fault. But they can’t do anything.7. Having to get SAG, the head of the Regional Film Commission, the NYS Atty Gen and the Dept of Labor involved.8. Being told by all the above agencies that this is not the first time this has happened.9. Finding your previous postings warning others about their unprofessionalism and unbelievably poor business practices have been deleted in an effort by Everyset to hide from accountability.I suggest using other more professional casting companies, that actually communicate with their background performers AND pay them.

2024-03-28 15:48:06Got a booking email, then a cancellation email, then offered a second date, then had that second date cancelled on me because somehow it was already full, despite it being offered to me. this was highly unprofessional and not at all how casting works. when you give availability, and get a booking date back, you expect to go to work on that date. instead i got a back and forth from someone who did not have a handle on what they were doing.

I can definitely say that I like the way this team works, they send details, all descriptions and give you time to decide. Also, the way they notify you is great! They send both a text message and an email, which I personally think is great! This way, you will not miss a job opportunity. They are always ready to answer any question you have. Other positive side is that you can upload as many photos as you want, showing different looks of yours. For a background actor this app is one of the best! A lot of opportunities and its free!

2018-12-06 20:33:42Castifi is great. No more watching job boards. I only see what Im good to submit for. Ive been called in twice this year and worked 14 days. Only issue I experienced was with the production teams and their learning this new app. But everything was straightened out promptly with payrolls help.

Wish I would be booked more often or get all my jobs through Castifi since the booking process is far less stressful-no endless redialing of the phone!

We needed some background actors for a few productions and not only were we able to see and communicate with all of the talent they recommended through the app but we were able to pay them directly from the app as well!!
