Caesar and his team were incredible! We had a trailer tire blow out on the freeway near this location. We were pretty rattled by the experience, but the people at this Evans tire location were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They even stopped traffic so we could back our trailer out!

Let me tell you how happy I am about making the choice of buying tires. With Evan’s tires here in Escondido Ca. At this particular location I am impressed with the treatment pleasant to talk to. Great work they did on my tires. Today I had one replaced. Thankfully they offered me the warranty which it came on handy. I had a nail on one and got replaced the same day. First time going to this place for an alignment, the workers there are awesome. I got an appointment same day and after work too! They tell it to you like it is and let you know what else is going on with your car and offer fixes. The most awesome sauce thing is they don’t try to sell you on anything! I don’t feel cheated or like they’re just trying to get money out of me. Thank you guys for being honest and respectful. I would definitely go to them again.

I have purchased 2 sets of 4 tires from this location, the team is respectful, gives quotes, and keeps by their quotes. Lifetime alignment and balance comes in handy. They also assess necessary repairs without embellishments.Mr. Delgado is always of good cheer when he serves customers. Not the cheapest shop, but honest and quality work. Oh, yeah, every time I cross-shop their tire prices, they come out as price-competitive.

Everyone was very friendly and very polite. I was quoted $800 and they gave me a discount of $100 so I paid a total of $700 for 4 brand new tires. That was a complete total no extras. It was a great deal and they were very fast and got me back in the car, Id say in about 1 hour from my phone call. Very happy with them and I will return for free rotations and for my next set of tires. Thank you again Evans Tire!! I definitely recommend them.....

The guys at Evan’s tires were super cool and nice about everything and of course very helpful from the front desk “Cesar” and the guys in the shop “Jesse” they both checked on me and other customers and tend to their needs, the financial processing for tires and serves all went amazingly well !! My experience with the guys at Evans tire was amazing. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. The tires where showing metal, after already giving me a huge discount on the oil change Mark and Cesar got us financing for brand new tires too. I only qualified for so much, so they squeezed even more of a discount! We got tires and oil change and alignment for no money down! What great people. Thats gotta be the first time Ive actually felt good leaving a mechanic shop.

Needed a tire urgently after having a blow out on the freeway and the spare has a 50 mph limit. Though Im aware that there is a scheduling system, the stores Ive gone to say that you cannot make an appointment for service. Its first-come, first-serve, and you could need to wait up to four hours for them to get to your car.

The guys at Evans Tire in Escondido CA are exceptional. My car was delivered to them on a flatbed tow. My flat tire was a quick fix. But we ended up needing a new radiator and they did the install and flushed out the system and my car was ready a day later. But the thing that I want to share with you is how two of the mechanics waitef outside for my dog and me to get in the car, start the engine, put the windows down and look their way and they waived at me and I waived back. It was like family.

I took my 20+ year old Toyota sedan to Evan’s in Escondido to take advantage of a coupon to save money. I live in San Marcos, and the Evan’s in San Marcos couldn’t accommodate me that day. Neither are my regular mechanic.During their inspection, they found leaks in both my radiator hoses, which would cost $650 to fix. I turned it down because they were not my regular mechanic, not because I questioned their diagnosis. My car is old, so the unexpected can happen.They also found my tires and engine mounts to need replacement, both of which I was aware of.Total cost to remedy everything was $3,500.I took it to Terry’s immediately afterwards. They are my regular go to. They did find leaks in the hoses, but they said tightening the clamps was all it needed.Terry’s also found the engine oil to leak at the plug. My oil had just been changed at Evan’s! They said a Nissan crush washer was used when a Toyota one was needed. To resolve this leak, they had to re-do the oil change.When I think about it, there was no radiator fluid leaking onto my garage floor prior to this. I’m not making any accusations but it’s possible my clamps were deliberately loosened to create the leaks.So much for venturing outside my comfort zone to save money using a coupon!. And to top it off, I had to wait 2-3 hrs for completion. Shame on Evan’s!

I took my vehicle in for an oil change on Friday afternoon and was super happy with the service I received. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The oil change itself only took 55 minutes and they replaced the filter and rotated my wheels. I first worked with Grant to set up the appointment, the initial exchange of new tires then I worked with Cesar to get everything put in place and find out what it was going to cost for brakes replacement and rotors. It was a little bit more than I was budgeted for, but they try to give me different solutions, which in the end didn’t work for me, but I was able to come up with a different solution so that I could afford the whole thing so I didn’t have to come back. The team was very accommodating, the waiting room was very clean and they kept me updated. I was able to get in and out of there in 4 1/2 hours overall I was pleased with the service and I had gotten these types of tires and brakes before and had really great experience with them so overall I had a good experience with Evans tires on Broadway in Escondido

Needed two tires and I pre ordered them to the store. Third customer in the door when they opened. When I checked in the employee went outside and looked at my vehicle. When he came in he insisted I needed a full set of tires. Two hours later with two new tires I paid a different employee for the service. I asked him to take a look at the tires I didnt replace. He said they were great 80% left with no visable issues. Im a car guy and knew the tires were fine. They are looking to steal from you. I have a long relationship with Evans and used them for basic fleet service in the past. Will never return!

Tire service was great and Evan’s is well know for reputable tire service- although communication could certainly be improved. I was told it would be approx 30 minutes over the phone and it ended up being an hour wait time. I then had to find out myself that the car was finished as no one came into to tell me everything went well, the service was completed, or any other updates about my other 3 tires. (I was only getting 1 tire replaced) Other than that I am satisfied.

I had an unexpected emergency and needed a nail removed and tire repaired. I show up when they opened (earlier than their competitors nearby) and was greeted with a smile and compassion for my predicament. They checked me in and I was on my way in less than an hour (and they had other appointments and a line of customers right behind me). They were excellent at juggling customers, smiled and were positive, and handled the rush with relative ease. It was a very positive experience. I also got a quote for replacing all 4 tires in the very near future. Their prices are competitive and their customer service EXCELLENT!

Unfortunately they didn’t have my tires but he called around and was able to get them by noon. Then I took my car in at 3 and they had it back to me before they closed. AMAZING. The customer service I received was amazing. I walked into the tire shop after having a rough say with car issues. My replacement tire was from a tire shop in Temecula, but my spare tire wouldnt allow me to drive that far. I thought I would be waiting at the shop for a long time and needed to get out of town. I walked in and was greeted with friendly faces. They looked at the tire and said since it was already mounted and weighted they would get it right on the car and have me on my way shortly. I was only in there maybe 15 minutes and we were road trip ready. I had not been having the best day, so their smiles and helpfulness really made it better. I couldnt thank them enough for helping me. I will be returning when I need new tires.

I had to buy new tires, because my alignment was off and wore my tires out in less than a year. I have an alignment warranty with evans tires, yes it’s my fault because Im too busy with my work and personal life to constantly be taking time off of work 2 times a day, just to bring the car in for an alignment. They said no warranty coverage on the tires, because tread level is too low. But now I have new tires and they said they did an alignment, but the the alignment is still off, probably worse than it was before, so now I have to take more time off of work, just to try and get this fixed, yet again. Since I bought the alignment warranty, probably brought the car in about 6 times, they still can’t figure out how to align the car, yet I have to keep buying new tires until they can figure it out.

I’ve been coming to this shop for 10yrs ever since I move to Escondido. I’ve brought at least 10 different cars including my parents’ who live in National City. The service was good and they had a no pressure attitude. If there was something that needed attention they would say take care of it now or by xxxx miles or when your next service is due. However, when really bad they would let me know and most times I’d have the service done. I heard a year or two ago management or ownership changed and so did the attitude. Now, everytime I got an oil change they found something wrong with my car. Because I’d been going there for years I trusted them. This time was no different. Brought my car in at 7:30am for an oil change. I told the guy I needed the car back by 2pm because I had to pick up my wife. He said it would be done by 1pm. I get a call at 8:40am and was told I needed 2 tires and that I should get a tune up. I thought, I might as well. The service guy even gave me a “discount” to help seal the deal. I reminded him I need the car by 2pm and he assured me it would he done by then. I call back at 12:59pm asking on status and guys said tires were installed and alignment and oil change done. Just finishing up the tune up. I make my way to the shop to wait and it’s still not done. As I’m waiting there the service guys paid me no mind talking about motorcycles and what the top 5 fastest were. At 2:45 I finally ask on status and guy said they are finishing up on the tune up. 3pm comes around and I ask again and now they are doing the alignment. My problem here is not that I paid $1800 for 2 tires, alignment, and a tune up. What I don’t appreciate is being lied to and just having me wait with no explanation. It made me feel like because they got my money, time isn’t important to them. At least my time. It’s disappointing for being a customer for over 10yrs and trusting the brand. I don’t plan to bring anymore cars here.l nor would I recommend them.PS- This same car I brought for at least 2 oil changes, they told me that I needed some rear shocks replaced. This time, no mention. Makes me wonder if I really needed that tune up.

This place is a great place to go for all your mechanic needs this has been my second time going. I usually go for minor services at my local dealership due to high prices. Evan tires has found a way to always keep my business and helped me save money and keep me coming back. I have put my trust in them that my car is going to function at 100% percent and that I am a happy customer in which I am. My car needed some major work done and it got done and I was able to get some excellent prices nothing compared to what I was going to pay at the dealership in which I wasnt happy about that. However, things changed once I went to Evans. With that being said I am going to continue to be a forever customer of Evans tires for all of my car needs because, I now have put my full trust in them that they will take care of me and my car and they ensure that I will get good deals not just in tires but, I like that this place is a one stop shop so for me is all about the convenience not the inconvenience. He was loud and constantly cut me off.He didn’t honor a coupon for oil change that we received in the mail, saying that I had to pay an extra 25.99 for the filter! He said that my car is a F-sport, which it’s not. Rudeness in his voice prompted me to ask him if he had heard of customer service and he replied “we don’t have that here “. This location used to be the best in Escondido, as far as pricing and attentive service. Now with the new manager, the service he provides to customers is rudeness, he treated me like if i was going to get tires for free. I had a torn apart tire and my truck was stranded on the highway so called ahead and had 2 tires available over the phone, when I got there the manager told me to leave the tire and even though I let him know of my emergency, he didnt care of my situation and told me to comeback when he called me. I waited an hour 15 minutes with no call back, just showed up and he said its not ready, it seemed to me he was attending other cars after mine. I went to grab my wheel and asked the worker how long and he showed me the service ticket saying Waiting for tires so I grabbed the wheel and got a fast installation and excellent service at Shortys Tires. Just like me, youre going to loose more business, if you show no respect to people and treat them with animosity!!

Last 2 years the service was great, but this year isnt the same, two weeks ago i went to change my cv axles and do the alignment and rotation that day was fair service, i said fair because the alignment was really bad, i had to take my car once again for alignment service the next week, since 9 am(left the car) until 4:30pm I didnt receive any call from the place until i went directly to the store, what was my surprise, they hadnt worked in my car. They tested and did the alignment but i didnt get better results ( i bought the 3 years alignment service). So I had to go to another place and pay for that service.

Got a flat tire on the freeway. Called to find the tire I needed. They didnt have it but they found it and got it to the shop right away. They were able to replace both of my tires and give me back on the road. They even stayed over to make sure it was done. Highly recommend these guys.

I just want to give a big shout out to Cesar that works at the Escondido location on Broadway. I had an emergency yesterday right before I was going to arrive at my home and something busted that holds up my window. I was so upset and didn’t know what to do. I drove straight to the dealership “KIA” even though I knew they had just closed hoping that someone would be kind enough to take the time to at least help me secure my window for the night so I could deal with the problem today. Long story I know but to get to the point, EVANS tire shop was the only one that offered to help me even though it was after hours. I was so stressed out and had no clue what I was going to do because I do not have a garage or no place to park my car over night (especially cause it was raining). Again Cesar found the solution and offered to put my car in there garage and told me not to worry about it, and assured me that he would take care of it today, WHICH HE DID!! Dont recommend going here if you want honest employees. If you are only there to use the coupon they send in the mail, they will lie to you to try and upsell you on work you dont need done. Pretty significant lies too about the safety of your vehicle. I went here recently for an oil change (with coupon) and I guess they saw the opportunity to try and fleece me. They told my suspension was leaking and my control arms were cracked to the point where it was a huge safety issue. Said the control arms were at 35% stability and could go at any time. Tried to sell me almost $2500 worth of work right then and there. I objected to it because I have family connections to auto shops and repair shops and wanted to get a second opinion. Employee tried to get pushy wuth me saying it was a safety issue. Went to my normal guy and he put the car on the hydraulic lift, checked everything Evans said was supposedly wrong and surprise surprise, the control arms were fine and there was no leaking suspension. Very bad business practice to lie to people about the safety of their car just to upsell $2500. If you dont want to do just oil changes then at least lie to customers and say you are too busy to do oil changes instead of lying to them about the safety of their car. Will not be going back here again, no matter what kind of coupon they send and will definitely be looking into filing a complaint with the BBB, because lying about safety issues is absolutely and completely wrong.

Came to this location because our usual guys at Firestone were closed for the day. Left with not only our wiper fluid bone dry, (had been filled that quarter ourselves) but our horn is now also unplugged. Oil change was $100 (ridiculously overpriced, im aware) but what truly upsets me is the completely transparent attempt to get us back by fiddling with unrelated systems. We were desperate...but if given the chance again Ill quite simply let the car die, and call AAA to tow us somewhere else.

Changed tires and did an alignment. The next day there was noise in the front end where they worked on. I call them and they ask get it to the shop before 4:30. I get there around 4:20. The guy in the front desk is super rude and doesnt recognize that they screwed up. They are nice- ish when they sell you things but they are rude when they screw up and you need them to fix. I took my car to be serviced the day prior to a long road trip only to find out I needed new tires. Called up Evans that evening. They recommended a good replacement (that had excellent reviews on Tire Rack) at a very reasonable price and I placed the order. The next morning they called and said my tires were in and ready for install. Dropped my car off and two hours later it was ready, aligned and everything. Disappointing experiences after many years with Evans Tires. I have been loyal to Evans tire for my four cars for years. The last three separate recent experiences have been waining. Two times with talk and no follow through. I just wanted honesty so I could plan my time. And the last time I had to use the insurance to replace a freeway flat tire. I paid the required replacement fee.Then the replacement tire after 5 miles had another flat on the freeway. Returned to Evans and they charged me for yet another replacement cost for a defective tire. Not so happy about that. I realized I could go anywhere for that type of service, and will next time.

I have been going to Evans Tire for 27 years, ever since I got my license. They have never disappointed me with the multiple vehicles that I have put tires on and alignments through their company. Today, I brought them two tires to mount on my G37X, I was in and out in less than an hour. The guys that were working that day, including the mechanics in the bay, were all extremely friendly and I had a lot of fun talking with them. I was even given valuable information about directional and non-directional tires from the mechanic as well as the manager who shared some literature with me which increased my knowledge. I have trusted them with everything from my Honda Prelude, all the way up to my Porsche Speedster. They were the first call when I needed service, and they were the only call. Today a Saturday 22 July, I accepted the long wait at the Escondido Broadway store. But a few hours later, I created an awful scene. Yelling and verbally abusing the store manager. This I regret and he did not deserve my tantrum. Jose Delgado remained patient and could have easily refused service to me. Purchased tires through @goodyear, and this is where I was sent to for installation. been 2 days since installation and my low tire pressure light keeps coming on and off (was not on Prior to installation). We take it back there and this guy is CONSYTANTLY saying we make no money off of these tires. Repeatably over and overFirst, thats not my problem, and second, we paid $99 for an installation charge. Goodyear who I just spoke with confirmed they get the full installation charge that shows on the checkout. They were able to order my tires quickly and service was quick, especially towards the end of the day when I was able to bring in my truck. I was a little disappointed in them not wanting to align the truck, saying that the rack was only rated for 10k lbs, and that my truck was at that, which is its actually its gcvw when hauling, unladen its approximately 8100lbs, which I know after it got weighed when I bought it a month prior. Also, the gentleman who moved it did not seem to be used to diesels and started it before the glow plugs shut off, and pulled the electric folding mirror out after the truck was out. I’m not too upset, but would appreciate it if the employees were a little more aware of the cars they work on for a living operate.

Took my 22’ Tacoma in for a slight problem with the alignment. After 4 hours and several test drives, the tech was unable to solve the issue. Besides botching the job, he also screwed the steering wheel up. Gave it back with the same problem and a crooked steering wheel. Demanded my money back and got it. Was told it was something other than the alignment.Frustrated, I took the truck back to the dealership. 1.5 hours in the hands of a technician who knew what they were doing and the truck drives as a new truck should, perfectly. I really hate when businesses try to make excuses for their employees incompetence. I would not recommend this place for an alignment on any vehicle. Gave 3 stars for effort. Ive been coming here for 8 years now but never again. They ordered some tires for me and told me they would be ready by Wednesday. I called Tuesday and was told they had come in early and to come on in. So I drove in, waited almost 2.5 hours, and then was told they didnt have the tires. They basically blamed me for coming in early stating the tires were there for another customer. I understand mistakes happen, but own up to them and take a small loss to keep a customer. I emailed them on their website with details of my experience where it states they will respond within 24 hours. Its been 3 days now and still no call which is why Ive decided to leave this review. I went to Discount Tire today and got the same exact tires installed for $7 less in 15 minutes.

We love Evans. Every time we go they take good care of us. I took our our Toyota Corolla in because a tire had a leak. They were able to patch it up free of charge and send me on my way fast. Friendly service and good prices, but that all that is good here. Had an 11:00AM appointment to purchase 4 tires. Was told on phone it would 90 minutes or lessWhen I got there I was told 2 hours. By the time I left it had been 3 hours and 20 minutes. Unbelievable that it takes that long for 4 tires when you have an appointment. Worse than going to the Doctor or Dentist.

First I was taken care of over the phone by Lou. He handled it so smoothly I was impressed. He didnt try to up-sell me and provided detailed information on the tires he sold. When I arrived at the shop I was served immediately (since discount tire was only a building away I walked over to see if they could give me a better quote but the line was to the door so I left). The lobby was comfortable and the wait reasonable. Very good business practice at Evans. After I finished getting tires Lou called back to make sure everything went well! Now thats customer service!

In 2018 i got all my tires there and service is greatI returned 4 years later to get tires 2022 to get tires, control arms and ball joints. They again were very professional and thorough. The price was very reasonable for the items. Thank you Lino and Lavelle for such great service

I wasnt able to get the tires that i saw online that were under $90 dollars so I ended buying the ones that they had available for my car but they were about $15 dollars more. If you are looking for cheap tires and looking online just like i did your best bet is to call them first and let them tell you what they have available before you go there. I tried Evans tires because i thought they would have more tires available since they are almost next door to Discount Tire and Discount Tire Showed in their website that they didnt had a lot of tires available and I needed to wait 1 to 2 days for them to get them. Overall i am satisfied because i didnt had to wait 2 hours to get my tires like I usually do in the other place.

I was told that the wait time would be a few hours, which was not a big deal. But 4 hours had passed, at which I called the shop to ask about the status of my vehicle. I was told that my vehicle was done, but it is my understanding that the shop should have called me when my car was ready be picked up, and not the other way around. Who knows how much time would have passed before I received a status call.

I called like 10 tire shops in Escondido and Evans Tire and Service centers had the best prices. The staff is very helpful. Also very kind and didnt try to upsell me or gouge me me for more money. If you need a great deal on quality tires, go see Kevin & David. :)I had another great experience at Evans tires that I must write about. I had a flat tire on the road and managed to make it to Evans tires. Lavelle assisted me with my car, thank God cause I was freaking out. I had a warranty from buying my tires their last year so they repaired my flat and cleaned my tire sensor so I didn’t have to buy a new one. They saved me lots of money. I bought 4 tires from them and keep having problem with them. First time all 4 valves needed to changes. they changes them. The second time i went to fix a flat tire. I employee told me that i have to wait 4 hours. I took my car and came back after one week (a Monday) and the same guy told me that i have to wait 3 hours. I told him, i will leave the wheel with the tire and come back later to get it. He refuse that and he said that he has no body to remove the wheel and i cannot do it my self on their lot. I went to another parking lot, and change and removed the wheel. When i come back to give him the weal he refuse again to take the wheel and fix the tire. all 4 tires still under guarantee. I will reach to his manager and complain.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation without an appointment. While there, they found I needed rear brakes, which I suspected. I was out of there in about 2 hours. Kevin was very nice, and they all adhered to the pandemic protocols. Highly recommend them!

I saw an ad on TV buy 2 tires get 2 free so I went there and they were super busy but theyve got me in and and I got more than what I asked for and plus the they had a rebate from them and the tire company and I got a front end alignment and they knocked off $30 off that. The staff were really good to me, they appreciate their customers and I appreciate all they did for me so. Ive gone there before and got great deals and again they treated their customers with respect and courtesy God bless the Evans Tire and their employees. And theres George Burgers just down a half a block you can get food there while youre waiting.

Third try to get tires I bought there rotated. They always had over a two hour wait and I’m not able to drop it off and have someone pick me up. So this time I waited. It wasn’t two hours but close. The reps were friendly and professional but they came up before the car was done and said there was some edge wear, no big deal, but I should have the alignment check which was supposed to be part of the original purchase at the time of sale. It was not done and he said I could pay $89 for it. Ummmm...? No. That’s a quarter of the price for the tires. I’ll just keep rotating them and if they wear out I can be sure to find one of the plethora of other shops that will do what they say. I’ll just remember to be smarter when I go to check out and pay. This was my first rotation on these tires.

Two stars for them trying to make it right but Im very frustrated. We came from Oceanside to get all new tires on our truck and they charged us for valve stem kit. We left and the next day found out they did not do the valve stem that we were charged for. Had to come all the way back to have it done. They did offer oil change and nitrogen in tires for free which is very much appreciated but its my birthday and I had to be here again for 45 minutes to have something done that should of been done the 1st time I came. But the guy helping us Jeff was very nice. Not his fault but had to deal with me being upset. I hope the guys that didnt do it correctly the first time get spoken to. This is not okay.

I stopped in on Friday, they didnt have the tires I needed in stock, but they were there on Monday. Installation was okay 2 of my studs got snapped, off no fault of Evans Tire, and I had the wrong lug nuts. But other than that everything went smooth.

Ive had a terrific few experiences with these guys, even though its frustrating sometime dealing with car repairs they make everything simple and are very honest. Ive had tires, brakes, oil changes and other repairs here and Im convinced that if I need a repair that Evans can do in the future I wont go else where. Dennis and Jeff helped me out a few times and even helped find me additional savings, highly recommended this place!

I had a horrible experience with Evans tires in Escondido. The front counter employee Jeff, was rude and condescending. I brought one our company vehicles in for tires and wouldn’t except a credit card over the phone, only by text message. Sending a credit card via text is a bad idea anyways. I told Jeff that we can’t do that and he threatened to stop the work. I told him I would pay out of pocket and get reimbursed I guess. Jeff was extremely rude to me as well as others he talked to on the phone. 2 weeks prior renegotiated or deal for them to do our fleet. Evans tire in Escondido lost our business: They need someone else working up front with customer service skills. By the way, I had to chose a star so I can send this post, should be zero

I called in the morning asking for some tires and they told me they would order them and should be available about 1:00pm and to stop by. They took my information and I thought I was set appointment wise to get my tires done at that time. I showed up at the time they said and was told that it would be a 3 hour wait and it is on a first come first serve basis even though I called ahead for my request. Guess I should have clarified I was setting an appointment. I am so frustrated with the service I wont be going here. I heard great things about Evans and I was hoping to get a good experience . I guess I will stick with Discount where I know they will work with me and mean what they say.
