One of the most honest businesses (not just automotive), Ive ever shopped at. They call back when they say they will. The always under-promise on timeline and over-deliver on service. They have fantastic attitudes. I cannot recommend this shop enough. I wish they ran businesses in every industry. Evans Tire Hospitals, Evans Tire Restaurants, Evans Tire Grocery Stores....shopping would be much easier!!!

BEWARE! They told us my car needed new suspension arms and bushes. Ive been taking my cars to Evans for years. Always get their lifetime (now only 5 years) alignment deal, sometimes buy tires, and other services likes brakes. I had my brakes and rotors replaced with them and they are still under warranty. I can feel they wore unevenly when I brake so I took them in a couple days ago.1. They told me theyd get back to me in an hour or 2, I called 3 hours later and it seemed like they forgot about my car. They took another 45 minutes or so and called me back2. The front desk guy talked in circles for about 10 minutes straight, not letting us ask any questions or comment. He said that he called the owner about the warranty and they would give me a deal and replace the brake pads even though they were just over warranty. Not true...I am 1.5 months and 3K+ miles under warranty. Then he told me the reason my brakes are worn unevenly is because of my suspension arms and bushes. And the rotors dont need to be replaced. They quoted me over $2,300 (this includes tires).3. I talked to my brother-in-law (mechanic) who said that doesnt sound right because my car is under 70,000 miles and I felt the unevenness when I brake, not in my steering wheel. So we took it to him and he didnt see anything that would point to a problem with the suspension. He did find a little part that was loose that was causing my passenger side brake pad to wear unevenly.4. My husband bought the parts and replaced all of my front pads and rotors for $265.5. Im going to Discount Tire for new tires and never going back to Evans!

These guys are the best! Roger at the Encinitas location was so courteous and efficient and honest. I went in for an oil change but also really needed some other items that they were very honest about and answered all my questions (and gave me a good little deal since there were a few). Love how convenient it is to walk in anytime as well.

Brought my daughter’s 2007 CRV in for a new battery. Turned out she needed a new alternator too. Because the car is pretty old I was hesitant to spend 1k to fix it. Lino took me to the garage and check over the whole car, pointing out the things that could potentially be an issue later on and what I should look for that would indicate it was now an issue. More importantly he noted the parts of the car he was looking at to ensure the car was probably worth fixing. I’ve dealt with many different auto repair companies around town and I can honestly say, I’ve never been treated better. They definitely go above and beyond to gain your trust. It’s nice to finally have a go-to shop.

This place was so easy! I gave them a call and had my tires done within the next day. I loved how I could also get an alignment here. They don’t do alignments at discount tire set and Pep Boys nearby was really sketchy to my husband trying to up, charge him to get a nail that was easily replaceable under warranty. (he ended up going to discount tire that time and was happy with them.) but I highly recommend Evans tire because they’re a one stop shop!

Lousy customer services and bad attitude. I was turn away twice for a simple oil change because they were too busy. They dont take appointments. Don’t call to get a status on your car, they dont like it. I was on hold for 12 minutes just to find out if the oil change was done after waiting for 5 hours for a phone call. I had to hang up after 12 minutes and call right back. They gave me the info on the wrong car. 👎👎👎

I got a tarp from the freeway twisted around the drive shaft of my truck. Evens Tire was great in helping me cut this out so that I could get back on the road. They didnt have to help me out but were kind enough to fit me in and help me with this odd request. These guys were lifesavers!!

Definitely recommend. Ive been coming here for over 15 years. Each time I go, it reminds me why. Great service, helpful information and they take care of their customers. I usually interact with Raoul or Ali, but everyone there is great. They were super busy and not at full staff the day I had my tires and alignment but that didnt stop them from getting the work done on time as promised.

I had the best experience with them and will be back soon to have battery replaced. I had my brake pads replaced. Both the front. My car is working very well now and the brakes feel a lot better.They are very reasonably priced and willing to work with you. Prices are not set in stone. Plus I had to split payment amongst two credit cards and they were willing to do that. It was half the price of Toyota. I was there at 4:45 with lots of cars there and they will take you on the spot and stay later if it means getting the work done.They are very personable and friendly. They work really hard. When I was there they needed a part for a car they didnt have and managed to find it and have someone go pick it up.

It’s been 2 years since I’ve been back to Evan’s Tire in Encinitas, for no other reason than my new car had an oil filter that was unique and only available at the dealership (way overpriced and horrible availability and service). That “scam” is over… Today I called to get a price on 4 new tires and an oil change. The 4 tires (3+1 free) came in $168 less than Discount Tire and $150 less than my wife’s mechanic in Mira Mesa near her school ~ and I saved about $30 on the Dealership Oil Change. Ironically it’s NEVER been about the “cost” for me, b/c Roger (the owner) and his crew have exemplified Class Act/Nordstroms level of service for the last 15+ years that I had been going there… but when you couple the amazing service with significantly better pricing, why would I EVER go anywhere else. I got a flat tire from a nail so I took the tire to them to patch it. It was late in the afternoon and I was already expecting to pick it up the next morning. So I went back the next morning, there was the tire waiting for me, all patched ready to go, and he didnt even charge me. Bait & Switch? Fraud? Or simple incompetence?Im not really sure what the answer is here but we brought our vehicle in for new tires that were still under warranty (10k miles left). We were told that we would get a 20% discount to cover the warranty. They got us in, new tires installed, checked us out and not only did we not receive the 20% discount, but they charged us more for the tires than what was listed on their website. When we brought this to their attention, they said they did not have the authority to undo the transaction and to speak with the manager the next day. We called the next day for a resolution and there has been zero communication from anyone from Evans Tire. Its been 5 days.Be careful with these folks.

They were busy but extremely accommodating allowing the tow truck driver to leave it in an odd place and not have to wait forever for a good space to open up. I brought my car in for tire rotation and to check a clicking sound. I had in the front brakes.The rotated tires script the lug nut bolts on the front tire. And did not address the brake issue. I purchased lug nuts in how them install them. Because theyre so scripped off, I couldnt get them off. I ask him to check the brake issue again and they didnt.

Took car in for an oil change. After checking out I look at my paperwork and notice my 16 month old tires have 0/32 and 1/32 tread in front tires. No mention of it checking out. When inquiring with the mechanic when he brought my keys he just said the alignment seems off and he couldnt speak to anything else. That was out of his pay grade. They did the alignment when the tires were put on. After all the issues at other Evans locations, I decided the only thing they can really handle is oil changes and tires. Im thinking i need to strike tires from that list as well. Of the two sets of tires I bought there for both my cars, neither lasted close to the mfg rated mileage, even with rotations every 5k miles. I may qualify for warranty on my current set. But based on other reviews, I think Im wasting my time trying as even the quickest stop here is minimum of 90 minutes. Will probably be taking it to a competitor and paying a couple bucks less with a better tire replacement policy.

Excellent service! Roger, the store manager, took such great care of me. I called in a panic because I had a nail in my tire and I knew they were closing in 15 min. I told him that I was too scared to move my car and he assured me that as long as I had air in the tire that I could drive the 5 min to get to him. More than tire services! We went to change the tires of our SUV which has more than 150,000 miles. We learned that Evans does much more than tire services! They identified issues with our original shock absorbers, brake pads and disc brake rotor, and the rack and pinion assembly leaked. A lot to do, but we no longer hear the weird noise when we drive, and the handling is much better. They gave us some discount or free items such as wheel alignment. After a long day at work I went to my truck to leave and found that I had a flat tire. I didn’t have the tool to remove the spare tire. I called AAA and was able to get air in the tire. I had seen Evans Tire shop many times driving on El Camino Real in Encinitas the purple color of the shop. I drove straight there. I got a good deal on 4 tires because of a special they were running. However they offered me a free alignment check, and were insistent on me approving they do an alignment for an additional $120 if the test came back showing the vehicle was out of alignment. I then proceeded to wait an additional hour for the free alignment check that they told me would only take 20 or 30 minutes before I told them not to charge me for an alignment. Just do the free test is all I wanted. For them it is a chance to screw everyone for an extra $120. Anyhow I never got the free test. Then when I was checking out they had an additional $50 on my already $430 bill and tried to tell me the difference from the estimate they sent me was the sales tax. BULL! It wasnt. My car is old and they were trying to charge me an additional fee to connect the tires to a tire sensor that new cars have. My car does not have any such sensors. It is a 22 year old car. So again they were trying to charge me for something I did not want, and this case couldnt even use. And tried to pass if off as sales tax. Basically every auto repair place I go to has some scam. These are the scams at discount tire. For the record, my car drives in a perfect straight line, does not pull to one side or the other, and the front end does not shimmy or shake. I do NOT need an alignment, but I still would have liked to get the free test they promised but apparently make you wait longer if you dont agree to pay for an alignment.... because you know they were going come back with me needing to pay an additional $120 when I now know I would never have needed it. CROOKS! Dont fall for the scams.

Went it get an alignment today. One of the repair shops in the same plaza wanted $145 but Evan’s was at $119 so I drove my car across the parking lot to them. Very easy to review and compare tires on website, including the full estimate for purchase/installation/fees for all 4 tires, including discounts.Very easy online reservation process and personal follow-up confirmation.My location (Encinitas) got all 4 tires in stock very quickly and called to invite me to come earlier for installation if I wanted to, which I did.Once I got to the store, both Raul and Roger took care of my order, and I was in and out the door in about 45 minutes. They were professional AND fun.Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase price and the service at the store. I think I’ve been made a convert from being a lifelong Discount Tire customer to being an Evans customer.

Was home helping my mother out after my father passed away when we discovered we had a flat tire while out running errands. Unfortunately there was no spare in the car and we needed to be towed. First tire store was closed as it was Good Friday. We then went to Evans. Not only were they gracious enough to work us in on a busy day, but they also would not accept payment for the repair.There are still good people in this world. Shout out to Roger! I came here this morning(Tuesday, August 27) to get all four of my tires replaced. Roger was so nice and patient with me. He is quite the hustler so it was nice to see him trying to get everything done fast as possible. I didn’t wait that long at all and service was great. Personally liked this location better than the Vista one because all three people up front were all very nice and thoughtful. All around pleasant experience, thank you Roger!

I had a flat tire. I brought in just the tire before closing and left the tire overnight. They called the next morning and priced me out a new tire, price matched it without any fuss and had the wheel ready for pickup by 2p (tire had to get delivered from distributor). All the employees were friendly.

I was introduced to Roger by one of co-worker. Last week, my car was all of sudden acting up. I came up to Roger to have my car checked. I trusted my car to him. All i can say is he did a terrific works on my car. The technician guy, Urbano, was also did very good job and courteous. Roger is very approachable and nice as well. In term of service fees, he came up with reasonable prices. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to get your car fixed. He is very reliable and he can be trusted!

I purchased a net of 4 new tires in February 2022. At the end of June I ran over a large screw and punctured the tread of the right rear tire. Fortunately (or unfortunately) it was early as I was leaving for work in the morning. I had it towed to Evans in Encinitas. They took me in as soon as they opened and I was back on the road in about 30 minutes.These guys are always polite and courteous. I’ve bought tires there for years and will continue to do so.

The manager (Roger?) went over and above in assuring that the right level of service was provided despite my not having an appointment. I highly recommend this center. It is hard to find such great service these days but this Evans Tire and Service Center provides superb service.

Amazing service today, tire on my newish model 3 Tesla developed a slow leak right before I’m about to take a road trip, and with the tire shortage and labor shortage, I was worried how am I ever going to get this fixed to get on the road tomorrow! I came in early, no appointment, and they were able to get the nail out of the tire and fix it, I’m on my way in 45 minutes and did not charge me which totally blew me away. Very happy customer.

I stopped by Evans Tires this morning because. I kept hearing a noise from the right front tire making me think something was wrong.
