Nathan and Josh were very professional, yet friendly. They thought of everything before bringing the sleeper sofa into my apartment to ensure no damage to the sofa, or the walls and door jams would occur. Smooth move from truck to my living room. I just bought a recliner from Evans Furniture. It was an all-round good experience.First, I can’t say enough about my salesperson, Logan. Over the couple weeks it took me to pick the best option for my ailing back, he was always patient, helpful and knowledgeable. And importantly, he put NO pressure on me to buy something. He’s one of the best (and sweetest) salespeople I’ve encountered.The store itself is nice, too. I prefer to shop locally when I can, and their big showroom has a fabulous selection. No need to travel to a bigger city for better choices. And to my surprise, their prices are very competitive, so I felt I got a good deal on my chair.I also have high praise for the other staff in the store, from the amazing manager Lisa to the owner to the delivery people (Nathan and Brian M, who went above and beyond as well).I expect to be back for future furniture needs.

I think that Evans has a lot of well made furniture in nice styles . The people were helpful and let us look and decide. My mattress was delivered and they were great at letting me know when they would arrive. All such good experiences and I was able to stay local.

I went into the store knowing exactly what dinning room table I wanted. Leasa was very helpful and knew exactly what set I was talking about. The transaction was very smooth and delivery was extremely fast. Purchased it on Saturday and it was delivered to my house on Tuesday! I will definitely use Evans furniture again and also recommend them to all of my friends.

We ordered a couch, a loveseat, a console, and a rug from Evans furniture. From start to finish, they were a pleasure to deal with! Our items just got delivered seamlessly. We were notified a day before of the delivery window, and then the day of we were texted 15 minutes before delivery. We really appreciated that excellent touch. The two guys, I’m embarrassed to say I did not get their names, were excellent. Very conscientious and very helpful. Great experience!

Another great delivery (and construction) by the team at Evans Furniture Galleries (Grass Valley location) - here for a queen sized guest bedroom set with a side table. I have had an order to be delivered go wrong. The logistics was the problem. Boxes labeled black when a brown recliner, is inside. While everyone has been very profesional and accommodating. They have a few problems.1. Every employee should know where the warehouse is2. It took darn near 3 weeks to get my 2 recliners (one chair was local here in Grass Valley and the other was in Yuba City (20 minutes away).3. Keep your customers informed.4. Ect5. Like I mentioned. The employees and delivery team are so nice and dedicated.

I love this furniture store! Personalized service and lots to choose from. Quality furniture at several price points. We bought a beautiful couch and reclining chair.The sale staff was professional, very friendly and patient, as we discussed many fabrics. We ended up choosing the fabric that was on the couch already. We had the chair reupholstered in that same fabric as the couch at no extra cost. It looks beautiful in her house!We worked a deal that we were both happy with.When the furniture arrived from the manufacturer they were happy to hang on to it in their warehouse until I was ready for it.When I called back to set up a day for delivery everything went as planned. The communication was awesome and the guys that came and delivered the furniture were great! I wasnt exactly sure how I wanted the furniture set up so they were happy to set up and then move it for me to try a couple different ways to see how it looked best in the room.Overall I give my experience a 10!

The staff here is super friendly and helpful, but I didn’t feel any sales pressure - just information. There are a lot of unique tables, artwork, lamps, etc. - a lot more than sofas & dining tables. I wish I would have discovered this local store before I furnished our new home with furniture from Living Spaces. I bought this little table for our safari room. When I need any other furniture, this will be my first stop.

Once they arrived, their friendly and kindhearted demeanor immediately put us at ease. They radiated warmth and professionalism, making us feel comfortable having them inside our home. As we get older (and wiser) and with the way things are, sadly, it’s not always that way anymore. We certainly factor those things into our decision when making a large purchase for our home, as should everyone. Purchased a set of Glider/Recliner sofas about a year ago along with extra insurance from Evans. One was broken the day it was delivered. They are still claiming they haven’t received parts from the manufacturer. They have also gone through numerous staff changes that are supposed to handle the repair claims so we never get to talk to the same person. They do not care once you leave with a purchase.

Amazing customer service!!!! We had a mix up “I thought”which was my mistake on my order. They happily swapped my order quickly to fix the problem for me to get my item for a gift. After all swapped and fixed I realize I was wrong and they politely and quickly reversed everything back with humor and excellent customer service. The salesperson was 100% helpful and attentive to help us find exactly the style of chair and perfect fabric we wanted. The special order chairs were delivered months before expected. The price was fair and the fee for inspection, unpacking and delivery is absolutely worth the money! We received many update communications as to the delivery timing to our home which we really appreciated. We have been purchasing many pieces of furniture at the store the last few months. We have an empty house to furnish so we needed and still need a lot of furniture. This store has been a life saver! It’s a huge gallery with many different designers represented, doesn’t matter what is your esthetic you will find it there. The sales associates are the nicest and friendliest, helpful and genuine individuals that care about your you and your needs. Mary has been our major connection at the store, she responds immediately to calls, scheduling deliveries, questions and she will make everything seamless. It’s also a team that works together to help with whatever you need. Logan is so nice and personable, Allan (?) the manager is there to support, the answer is always yes, never a can’t do… Delivery guys are wonderful and efficient, timely and friendly. Nathen and Keith were extremely helpful to deliver and setup our furniture, and we had an extra piece we didn’t need for our assembly and they returned it to the warehouse, and next day we already had the refund before we even had to ask or explain waiting at the store for us. You seldom get this kind of service anymore anywhere. There is wall art and decor you can take home immediately, furniture needs to be ordered, but that’s unavoidable. Logan my sales representative made the process of buying the furniture from the beginning to the end smooth.He always followed up with me, always ready to answer any questions that I had, and made sure he told me to sit in the furniture once it was delivered to test it out to make sure that the clearance from the wall to the furniture was good so that the furniture didnt rub against the wall. Logan had all sorts of nice tips for me to think about to make sure that I was happy before the moving people left. Nathan and Matt R. were my 2 moving people from Evans furniture tgey were very considerate with the furniture making that they draped it so it didnt get scratched as they were coming up the stairs. And overall did an excellent job with the placement and setting up the furniture.Savannah was great with financi g and warranties when we ran into a hiccup with some paperwork that required in person signature she went to the owner snd explained why it would be difficult to come in.
