I recently used European Car Service for repairs on my car. Ive heard lots of good things about them, so I thought theyd do a great job. Unfortunately, Im now left wondering if the technicians at this shop are part of some kind of secret government conspiracy.For starters, why do they always suggest so many unnecessary and expensive repairs? Is this simply a case of a mechanic trying to make an extra buck, or are there darker forces at work here?Moreover, why does my car seemingly break down faster after its been repaired by them? Could this be an attempt by the technicians to get me back in for more costly repairs?Finally, why have I heard stories from customers that European Car Service never takes responsibility or refunds when the repairs dont solve the cars issues? Is this a sign that something bigger is going on here?Im not sure whats going on at European Car Service, but Im starting to feel like maybe theres something sinister hiding beneath the surface. Until I can find out more, Ill be avoiding them and recommending others to do the same.My suspicions only grew when I heard about the owner, Derek. Rumors in the community say that he has been a shady character since day one and that he may know more than hes letting on. Could he be the mastermind behind some kind of a scam operating under the guise of a car service shop?Until more information becomes available, Im staying away from European Car Service and cautioning you to do the same.

I was told that the repair would take three days. Three days?! Thats way too long for such a minor repair. When I asked why it would take so long, they simply shrugged their shoulders and said thats just how it is.I decided to leave my car with them anyway, but when I returned three days later, nothing had been done! My car was still in the same condition as when I left it. When I asked what happened, they said they forgot about my car. How can you forget about a customers car?The worst part of all this is that they still charged me for the repair! They said that because I had already paid for the service, there was nothing they could do. This is completely unacceptable and outrageous!I would never recommend European Car Service to anyone. They are unprofessional, unreliable and will rip you off without hesitation. Avoid this place at all costs - you have been warned!Ive attached some pictures to show what this car shop will probably look like in a couple years if they dont change.

I recently had the misfortune of taking my car to European Car Service. From the moment I walked in I was met with hostility and rudeness. Derek seemed to have little interest in helping me and instead proceeded to make fun of me and laugh while I explained my issue. Unsurprisingly, the quote I was given was outrageously expensive, with fees added on that werent included in the work I requested.After my car was repaired, it started making the same noise it did when I had initially brought it in. Ive had to take my car back 3 times now and Derek has done nothing but expensive temporary fixes that had him pocketing more of my money. To make matters worse, hes a horrible person who is very rude and disrespectful, telling me I must be stupid not to understand how car repairs work.For these reasons, I would never recommend European Car Service to anyone. Hes unhelpful, overcharges for his services, and has no respect for his customers. Save yourself the stress and the money and go anywhere else for car repairs!I can only hope that in the future, the electric car revolution will put Derek and his unscrupulous business practices out of commission. The world would be a far better place without the likes of him, so I sincerely hope that electric car technology continues to advance and eventually makes European Car Service obsolete.

These guys are the best. They have been taking care of my 1976 Mercedes 300D for years. Honest - reasonable prices - excellent quality. Could not ask for more. :-)

Love this family owned car shop down El Camino in San Bruno. We bring our cars here for years and they never let us down! Service is personal and friendly... I recommend this place to anyone!

We have been taking our cars (1985 Mercedes and Porsche) to European Car Service for the last 7 years. They are the best mechanics I have ever dealt with. They give high quality service for reasonable, honest prices. They are always willing to spend the time needed on a vehicle until they locate the exact problem. Great customer service!

Asked for a Pre-Purchase inspection - same day. They were swamped and still took the car, and did an incredible job of finding every issue. I ended up passing on what looked to be a nearly pristine car. Derrik was super helpful and knows Mercedes. I have owned them for decades and I know an excellent mechanic when I meet them. This company is the very best.

When a woman walks into an auto shop, you know most of the times they will charge you a premium because you are not in the know, but not here at European Car Services. I have always received high quality, personalized and timely services at a very reasonable price. Once I got into a car accident, Derek, the owner was even gracious enough to made sure that there are no mechanical issues with my car before I hit the road, and he insisted on doing this for free. I have never felt so taken care of as a customer as they treated me as to a friend. Derek and his father are standup guys and I would recommend them to my closest friends at a heart beat.

Never Believe the Carfax!! I had Derrick do a PPI on a Porsche 997 and he saved me from making a very expensive mistake on what appeared to be a well maintained car. His inspection was very thorough and discovered problems that dont show up on a Carfax yet would have cost me several thousands of $$$ to remedy. Quick, trustworthy, and always has the customers best interests at heart. I cant recommend him highly enough.
