I think this a great place for drinks. They have a great selection of appetizers. I would definitely order the mac and cheese balls. Overall their food is good Ive never had a bad dish personally ( I read that others have). Their service could be bit better. It takes while for a server to come to the table. I love their indoor and outdoor flow and theres an area for kids.

I am visiting my son in San Diego area.We have been dining at different restaurants.Tonight was Eureka ! Wonderful and unique ambiance. Seating includes high top tables, dining room tables, and awesome bar area. Beautiful outdoor sitting when weather permits.The vibe is great, along with the food and service. Interesting menu with intriguing options. A shout out to our fabulous server, Nathan!We had a wonderful evening and dining experience.

Incredible. Was expecting something mediocre but the food, the great vibes, and the service have left me a fan. We got the pulled pork nachos (mouthwatering) and the BBQ Bacon burger and these servings are HUGE. Do yourself a favor and try the Strawberry Limeade. Our server Mia was incredible and made us feel so comfortable, including easily accommodating our need for a table with enough space to fit the wheelchair. Very clean, love the complex flavors, and the friendliness.I will be bringing my besties here soon.

Eureka! I found a great whiskey bar. But its not just an adult place. With great food and atmosphere it can be fun for all on your way to the beach for a walk. Ricardo made our day by making a drink not even on the menu. Thanks for the great drink and good conversation about our favorite libations.!

Solid spot in Carlsbad. Upside - took a reservation for a very large group - and had the kids fed very quickly. Downside - slow on the adults drinks and orders (waiter was busy hitting on a girl at the bar) - and portions were pretty small. But solid food.

Great spot, not many places in Carlsbad, like very few, Eureka has a late night happy hour and serves food till 11.I am gonna suggest you go here. Yes it’s a chain but it’s a great one.

I love the layout and all the staff seem friendly. The whiskey selection is great and the beer selection is good. The food is terrible, Ive been here a half a dozen times now and every time I was disappointed. You wont find a clean glass in this place anywhere. Even when you ask for a clean one, they bring you a dirty one. They bring you a dirty carafe of sink water for your table. The staff was friendly but not very attentive. I only saw my waitress twice. Second time I had to flag her down. Im not going back here anymore.

A few friends and I decided to try Eureka for dinner tonight and were left extremely disappointed in our dining experience. At first the service was decent and we were able to get seated fairly quickly. We went ahead and placed our appetizers right when happy hour started and received that food fairly fast. However, after that we were not checked back in on to place our food order for a good while. My table only ordered two of the Eureka burgers and one with truffle cheese fries, yet still waited nearly over an hour to receive them. It is one thing for a restaurant to be busy with a rush and another to go without acknowledging excessive wait times. Especially when tables who were sat after us received their meals well before us. To make our visit especially unpleasant one of the burgers was fairly burnt. As well as receiving the condiments we had requested when we ordered to only receive them after finishing our meals. Since we had already waited so long and were quite hungry at this point we finished up our food and got the check asap. Cannot say we will going back for another dining experience after today.

I never rate service when choosing were I eat because its hard to find good servers these days anywhere. But here the service was outstanding and this is a great place to come with friends! Very modern look and very clean restaurant. I had the fish & chips and it came out hot and crispy fish. The burger & chicken sandwiches my friends ate were gobbled down quickly. Off the best and path of Palomar road but worth the trip to find it!

The place is nice and it makes for a relaxing hangout spot. The huge fire pit is a sight to see.Now, their Cowboy burgers were real nice. I would say its due to the Burgers presentation.Aside from that, it was not incredibly tasty, but just good. I used the battered onions to dip like fries.But hey, for 16 dollars you get a good burger and fries so the price is pretty good and they do Medium rare just right.I also had an old fashioned bringing my bill to 28 dollars.Eh, not bad, but definitely a place to return to!

They wouldnt let my coworkers and I sit at any of the EMPTY tables outside for lunch. They were also faulty on getting online orders. Did not give us utensils. When we went to sit by the curb structures, the lady with the thick black glasses and blonde streaks came out to tell us off. Apparently its better during dinner time, but I dont know. Honestly, it was too expensive (minimum of $25 per person) to have that treatment. Food was okay at least.

Cool spot. Nice open concept for the dinning area. Friendly staff. Ordered the Eureka classic burger. Pretty good burger, good quality beef. They do a cool thing with the onions where they pan sear the onions without actually searing them. First time seeing this….gives the burger a nice touch. Definitely would come back to try another burger.

Got here for Happy Hour on a Thursday, it was pretty busy, we were able to get a table. We ordered the Mac N Cheese Balls, Truffle Cheese Fries and a mix of Firecracker Wings and Beer Barbeque Sauce Wings. For drinks we got 2 Old Fashioneds and an Industry Margarita. The Mac N Cheese balls were so good, we ended up ordering 4 more orders. The sauce of the Truffle Cheese Fries were interesting, kinda grainy. The wings were super good. Overall great place and I would come again, great atmosphere.

So we’ve driven by this place a few times now, and finally my fiancé and I decided to do a dinner date last night. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. The nice hostess sat us down outside, and 17 minutes had gone by with nobody even acknowledged us, the servers just kept walking by and attending to the tables next to us and we didn’t even have water. I had to stand up and let the hostess know that we would like some water and she actually took our whole order and made it happen. Honestly, I would go back, because I loved the Sweet potato fries and cheeseburger was ok, but this was pretty grim 🤷🏻‍♀️ Wanted to bring my family here next week, hopefully they do a better job.

I have never had a bad experience at this Eureka! location (or at any Eureka! for that matter). I deviated from my usual Fresno Fig Burger, and ordered the Tuna Poke Stack (an appetizer since I was not very hungry). I would have liked the fresnos to have been pickled, but otherwise it was delicious. My father had his usual Cowboy and Fried Mac n Cheese. My mother had the Blackened Salmon Kale Caesar. My two drinks that evening had been a Pride drink and the Morning Peaches. (Morning Peaches was garnished with fennel flower and a sprig of ambrosia.) I finished my dinner with my usual Bourbon cake. Dinner cannot be concluded without dessert!

So I walk in about 5:30 sort of busy and take a seat. The waitress asks for.our drinks, and I immediately order an appetizer before she takes our order. She comes back with drinks and takes our order, about 10 minutes has passed. About 15 minutes later our food order comes but no appetizer. The waitress brings the order. I ask, where is the appetizer? She replys, oh, they didnt bring it to you? Who? You are the waitress. I cancel the appetizer. This happens about 25% of the time or the app comes with the dinner. Isnt the job of the waitress to make sure we are taken care of from start to finish? Makes me wonder what we are getting for $15 plus 18% surcharge. Not my favorite place. Wont go back. Too many other places to eat. The fish and chips were mostly batter and they didnt have tarter sauce.

This place is amazing.The Food was amazing.The Atmosphere was amazing.Our server Rebecca, was amazing.The Eureka burger is BIG, filling, and really delicious. They use high quality beef. The fish tacos were also fantastic.They have a large bar area, a dining area, and spacious outdoor seating with fire pit, and dog friendly. Lots of room for seating.The staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive.The music was the right volume and a great playlist.It was a great experience. We will definitely be back.

This place is a perfect place for dinner when you want food with good flavor but don’t want to get too dressed up. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the burger with bone marrow infused butter. The drinks were awesome too; we got the penicillin and industry margarita with habanero salt. Emily was our server and was super attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend going here, and there’s plenty of parking and fire pits outside.

20 dollar burger had real mediocre fries. Burger itself was also just alright, cooked more than I ordered. Service seemed short staffed, so we couldnt order some things we wanted and missed our ranch we asked for. Atmosphere was on point. We were at the restaurant last night for a rehearsal dinner. And we could be more pleased. Our large group was taken care of by Emily and she is phenomenal. Best server EVER...She was so good. I own a restaurant back NY. So I want to be respectful with the business.But really poor service, this place it’s more like hang out not su much of culinary. How can you mess up a burger bun was super cold like was sitting on the kitchen waiting for someone order a burger no flavor on the patty. Really disappointed after a long flight wanted to eat some decent food. Really nice spot but if you are looking for quality this is not the place . Hope you guys can work on this !

I tried out a couple burgers at eureka already, and I say just stick to the Fresno fig burger. The other burgers are somewhat meh. However do get the truffle cheese fries as its consistently good. The service can be slow at times, but I view this place as a social burger joint so this shouldnt be an issue if youre hanging out with friends.

Delicious! You won’t be disappointed with the food at Eureka! Such a good burger. The quality of meat used, the brioche bun, the bacon etc. everything well done. Our server was awesome and took care of our table of four. Three of the four of us ordered different burgers, and one of us ordered the chicken nachos. Everyone went home happy. One person ordered the sweet potato fries, which have cinnamon and honey on them. She liked them and would recommend. Give this place a try!

New location in Carlsbad was a very good experience! The food is very tasty and I think it is difficult to order something that isnt good. The service is very, very friendly. Staff is most welcoming and ensure you have a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is made for you to want to spend a little more time in the restaurant. They have a couple of games outside and I assume this is to encourage the partaking of alcohol during happy hour. Although it took +45 minutes to get a burger and fries Im still giving it 5 stars due to the quality of the service I received. Just note that if you have time constraints Eureka may be a slow option during peak lunch hours.

My daughter and I went in for a shirt mothers day bite. The atmosphere is awesome. Super warm and cozy ...plus the artwork on the walls is super cool ! She got the nachos and I had the truffle fries. Fries were really good. She said the nachos were decent but not spectacular. The service was fantastic! They accommodated our need for quick serviceas we had specific time restraint . This place is currently open for dine-in and takeout. You can sit on the patio area or in the restaurant. Their happy hour ends at 6 pm, and offers riblets, nachos, and truffle fries, as well as a Wild Child cocktail. This drink isnt strong and its pretty sweet so even my friends who dislike alcohol were able to enjoy it. The place has a good vibe and was pretty packed. I came during lunch and they were closed temporarily so they gave a $10 gift voucher.

I order takeout from here frequently. Tonight I submitted my order online and waited the quoted 50 minutes. When I got there they couldn’t find my order. 10 minutes later they found it sitting on the counter behind them. It was there so long that things were getting piled around it. It was cold because it sat there so long. I complained about it. I got a shrug. When I got back, there was no napkins or utensils. I just threw it away and decided that they won’t get my money or recommendation again.

I got the cowboy burger with the regular fries. Good quality and quantity, my only complaint is the BBQ sauce on the burger is a bit on the sweeter side, it blends well on the burger but I got some on the side for my fries, which is when I noticed how sweet it really was, personal preference, but the burger is very good. The waitress I had was very good and personable and my tea never got empty, so score in my book. The tables and seats were clean and not sticky like some places. Decor was nice and its not too loud, but it was lunch time as well. Parking wasnt an issue either. They do have out side seating with a huge fire pit you can eat at.

Drink menu is extensive with craft cocktails, craft beers and lots of whiskey options.I had 2 craft beers that were delicious but extremely overpriced. $16 for 6oz on one and $15 for 9oz on the other.For food I had the Mac-N-cheese Balls to start followed by the delicious Fig Burger. The Fig Burger was top notch and very unique.Service was excellent and fast which was a good indication since the place was pretty busy being a Saturday night.4 stars only because the drinks were overpriced.

Went here for the first time as it was recommended to me. They told me the burgers were good, but wow, theyre fantastic!I got the Bison Burger ($20) and Sweet Potato Fries ($8). Heres a quick heads up, theres a spicy pepper on the burger that has a good kick, so if youre sensitive to heat keep that in mind. The meat on the burger is tender and savory. Everything complimented each other. Highly recommend this place. Its sooooo good.

My friend n I came here after a very long drive 2 Carlsbad.... upon arrival we were quickly greeted n seated ...our server Camden was speedy w our menus n beverages but one of the drinks was watered down and Camden had the manager come 2 our table 2 fix the problem. after one unfruitful pass, the manager asked wt she couldve done better in the situation and some advice was given....later on comes to our table and offers a gift card 2 compensate 4 the drink but quickly went away bcuz she was starting 2 tear up .... so now wt shd b pleasant is kinda awkward n weird bcuz this yng woman was crying bcuz we (the customers) answered their question on how the was ..... strange indeed!🤔

Do not buy the spicy hibiscus drink. I like spice but it was one of the most unpleasant drinks I’ve ever had. With that, I will say the burgers here are amazing, juicy, big, and delicious. You will have a great experience here! I recommend it. Great service. Great food. Minus the drink I mentions.

All of the hostesses were very friendly and helpful.Update - My Initial review was based on picking up Doordash orders. When I ate there I sat at the bar and had a crispy chicken salad. The salad was good, but the experience was made 10X better by the bartender. Her name is Ari and she is one of the most pleasant and real people I have ever met. She made me feel like I had a new friend. When I went back like 3 weeks later it was like seeing an old friend.

Wonderful bar/pub with a great selection of beer and a small, unique menu. I tried thier signature burger and it was delicious. Your are missing out if you dont try the Hop Fu and Hazy Dreams. I’ve eaten at these in LA before and the food is always great. This one is in an open air shopping center with nice views and an ocean breeze (10 miles away). The service is excellent. I had the jalapeño egg burger. It is perfectly done and not too heavy. The cocktails are beautiful and quite tasty.

Wow! Amazing food and amazing non-alcoholic drink selections. It’s so nice to see options other than the usual Coke or Pepsi products. We ordered the lavender tea (pictured) and some sort of spicy agua fresca and both were fantastic. I ordered the veggie burger (made of beets and kidney beans), which was not only delicious but was the most beautiful deep red color upon cutting into it. Wish I had taken a pic. Service and location are great. Would LOVE to be back next time we’re in town.

The Ahi Poke Stack, it comes with black rice at the bottom, stacked with avocado 🥑, Ahi tuna, fresh chili, green onions with a delicious ginger dressing 🤤. Our waiter disappeared a lot, and we came at 8pm on a Sunday evening. It wasn’t very busy. We sat outside by the heaters and fire and it was so beautiful. The food was excellent. My husband got the fish tacos. They were so damn crispy and yummy 🤤 I had the French dip, which was also yummy. Would recommend both.

So I have of been on a road trip 6 days now with my son. I have been gluten, grain, and sugar free for about 1 year now. (Allergies and Medical reasons/Keto ish) needless to say eating out isnt enjoyable. I have eating many not so enjoyable salads with little on them or bunless burgers the past week. Which wasnt all badd but wasnt necessarily good either. I read the description for this restaurant and thought I think they will be a little bit more understandable. Thankfully I met the kindest waitress ever and happen to also have a gluten issue. Nicole was amazing and went above and beyond making sure my meal was enjoyable and wouldnt make me sick later. She let me know there were order options and alternatives for things. She walked me through ordering and I even was able to order an appetizer! Its huge! I hate eating out anymore but thankfully there are places like this and waitresses like her! Best part ever, wait? Theres one opening in my area!!! Yay! High standards now hope it lives to to my expectations

What a wonderful experience to have this hidden gem in the middle of Carlsbad not many would pass this by but we had the chance to enjoy as we sat at the table we noticed that we were just at the right time for happy hour we were able to order two drinks for $5 each one of them was virgins and the other one what is the Carlsbad favorite site we also try the french fries of truffle fries with a nice beautiful truffle sauce and they were arrested by then we also tried some chicken wings two different flavors one honey glaze which was so good they tasted like gourmet Chinese food and the other was the traditional spicy buffalo with the ranch dressing and then the third entree that we decided to try was the cauliflower sauteed and prepare and a wonderful delightful size and a nice ranch dipping sauce to go with the side we sat at the table facing the fire and we enjoyed our stay walking out with paying less than $40 for the two of us to enjoy a wonderful meal and delightful drinks thank you again eureka but we may come back and revisit and try more on the menu as to see what more reviews can come to surprise

We checked this place out on a Sunday at lunch time. It was busy. Theres outdoor tables and indoor seating. The decor is fun with paintings and wooden feature walls and occasional sofas. I ordered the lavender iced tea, it had an edible Violet flower, sprig of mint and came in a cute textured glass. It was delicious and relaxing. Perfect for summer. The wait staff was quick on refills and the food came quickly. They handmade all the sauces and everything tasted great. The nachos and fish and chips were quality, but not exceptional. The two problems here are the overloud, awful music (when its a relief to leave a place, you know its intentionally engineered for turnover), and due to its proximity to Bressi Ranch, this place is a daycare center. I called to make sure they could accommodate 15 and they said they would hold a table for us for 30 minutes. Awful! Don’t go! The server asked for ID for the group of 8 I was with - I ordered an alcoholic drink (we joined a group of 15 that were already there). The server asked me twice about what I was drinking and confirmed my order. When another server was delivering drinks I didn’t get mine. Eureka in Carlsbad was good. I didn’t give Eureka 5 stars because when my friend and I arrived, there were no servers / hosts around to to seat us. We stood near the area where the host’s usually stand and waited but no one came up. We waited a bit beside an empty table and after 10 -12 minutes we sat ourselves. Soon we saw servers bringing items to other tablesFinally it became another 22 minutes and I got up, went to host area now with at least 3 people with Eureka shirts on milling about. We mentioned to one female we were sitting and said “sorry we had seated ourselves” she looked up and then walked away .. a thin older woman with blond hair with messy ponytail. My friend and I were engrossed in talking until we both noticed still no one had approached our table yet to take drink order… or bring menus…just as my friend got up to check why.. a server came over .. my friend mentioned we had been waiting a while but we did self seated ourselves but we also told the hostess that we were ready/—,at that moment the waitress said to us both “well, that is what happens when you decided to self seat”. We both were a little taken aback by this response… there was no apology at all even when we politely stated there was no hosts in sight when first arrived and then we were ignored for another length of time. We decided to stay because primarily I have been to Eureka multiple time and while service is always initially slow the food is great and so are the beverages. However, my friend was not so forgiving as this was her first time and she was not impressed by the subsequent attitude and the “comment (a little snarky) made.I get it that you should wait for the hosts so tables can be assigned proportional for the service staff, but it was NOT crowded.. many many places to sit. We were actually sitting at a long table but only taking up two chairsand we were very close to where the hosts was standing. I think the comment made to us was unnecessary… and borderline rude.

Nice location. Service was so so. Gave our party a table that was so wobbly that it almost tipped over. We had to switch the table ourselves with a sturdy one. Burgers were ordered medium but was still super dry and hard. Had a bad drink and waitress didnt take it off the bill even though it was returned. Never going there ever again.

Service was great. Staff are nice. It was happy hour. The house wine and the mimosas were tasty. The Sherry glazed riblets were different and good. I like the napa chicken sandwish. My husband liked the wings. The portions in the regular menu are decent so pace your yourself. We ate in the outdoor area. The heat lamp were helpful. I suggest bringing a sweater because its a coastal area and it makes your experience comfortable. Enjoy! 😉

Eureka is right! I have found the best restaurant in Carlsbad! Fabulous location with great outdoor seating! Excellent customer service! Super friendly staff. Ambience is spot on. Ample parking. Super clean restrooms. The beets and whipped Feta are mouth watering. The pork Riblets and chicken wings are cooked to perfection with the right amount of sauce. Must try the jalapeño egg or the double stack burger. Super juicy and flavorful. The cocktail selection is superb with many top shelf choices. Come for a business lunch or date night and you will not be disappointed! A perfect 10!

Got seated in the cold outside just to sit there for 20 minutes and have employees walk past us serving other tables. Even stopped a waitress for help after 10 minutes and never saw her again. I would give this 5 stars if it were not for their order process. Plus, you cant leave more than a 16% tip which they include in the bill. You have to completely do the ordering yourself on a phone. They bring it out. If there is something you want or dont want, you need to track down a waiter for that. I guess they save on staff but you dont really get the full service treatment. The food is fantastic! Burgers cooked perfect and the fried mac and cheese, to die for! Very good wings and dipping sauces.

This was my first time going to Eureka. The food was good, glad I paid happy hour prices. The bar was slow and not organized that well. Our friend who arrived late got her beer at least 10 minutes before we got our second round and we ordered before our late friend arrived..... and the drinks came out wrong. They tasted good and had enough alchohol, but just not what we ordered. They had a promotion that started at 6pm where you buy the beer thats on special and you get to keep the branded glass. One friend in our group pre-ordered this beer, it came just before we left at 7, she didnt get the glass because they had ran out. For the money, coupled with the issues, I dont think Ill be going back. It sucks because the atmosphere was good and our server was fantastic...but not worth it.

The app doesnt have a split tab option (yet) but the sever was more than happy to offer the option and forward our feedback to the app team. But more about this excellent service.. they were friendly but annoying, they were attentive and the food came out back to back drinks, appetizers, mains, refills... and we had servers removing plates as they were empty to make sure we were comfortable and hand enough space to enjoy our drinks and meals. AND asked if I wanted to keep my silverware before removing plates which I loved because anywhere I go I always forget and end up having to wait for a new set. We were a party of 7 and we sat in the turf grass area which was a bit out of their way but the service NEVER lacked in any area. Our needs never went unnoticed. They definitely deserved more than the automatic gratuity that was on the check. The service was great from when we got there till the end, not because of how big the tab was. I was about to leave and then thought about how I forgot to ask for a box and right as I was about to turn around and ask a server already had one for me when I turned around. Like I said excellent service. Everything was clean and all servers were wearing masks fully around their nose and mouth. I always eat at Eureka, from SLO to Bakersfield and now here! My aunt, uncle, brother and sister in law are new fans of the place and will return again.

Great open area concept for a layout. Service is prompt and pleasant. Portions match well to the price and excel in flavor. Plenty of room to enjoy with a group but not so over the top as to put a damper on a night for two, be it a weekend afternoon brunch or a night for drinks. Id specifically like to call out the Mac and cheese balls appetizer which had a unique twist to them adding just a hint of spice and dip to put them above other locations versions.

Just ate there last night. Food was really good. Bison burger for me and fish & chips for my wife. The batter on the fish and chips was surprisingly light and quite crispy. Bison burger was great. They charge me $20 for a single Bison patty and cant even get it right. First time came with sautéed onions instead of raw which I couldnt eat because of my allergy to Canola oil, 2nd time Beef instead of Bison. The 3rd order I requested to place with the Manager whos name I think was Clarissa (Heavyweight lady with Red hair) and told her about the multiple mistakes but she seemed to careless. Went for hoppy hour. Wanted to sit by the fire pit but not in a straight line of four people. Host did not like that we wanted to take two corners to be able to face each other. Fire kept going out too. Menu has been greatly reduced which was disappointing. Ordered many starter items and they were all delicious, although the chicken nachos needed more flavor. Big fiasco with our check. This place was much better prior to the pandemic.

First time here, i had the burgeon on tap and the truffle cheese fries, the bar tender was very quick happy to help and offered a taster of the beer before purchase, the wait time considering it wasnt very busy for the food was disappointing, the truffle cheese fries are full of flavour and salt. After eating them i can feel my lips pucker up as if id just been in the ocean, disappointed. Hold off on the salt you have the flavour in the sauce.

A society needs glues and ours is booze. Food was a strong ~meh~ . I had nachos because gluten-free, it had been heated and then cooled to room temp for a delicious congealed cheese flavor paired with soggy chips. So after an hour and 20 minutes it occured to me that this is just how chain corporations do it. They steal the gastro pub vibe and then make it atrocious. Apparently opened six weeks ago, but still not on Googles radar. I had already given up finding it when I accidentally stumbled into them. That said, I experienced a great atmosphere and friendly staff. They seemed to have a little of everything to drink: Wine, beer whiskey, etc. The food looked great too, but Ill have to return to try their food and maybe live music on a Thu evening. The next day he ended up in the hospital for two days and the doctor said he was the second person in the ER after eating at Eureka. I am still waiting on a call from the company. We stood by the entrance for 10 minutes without being noticed and when we were finally able to ask for a table, the hostess went to check for open tables, came back, then answered the phone continuing to ignore us while there were 2 other workers nearby ignoring us as well. We navigated through the online system which was clunky and annoying to use, but even once everything was submitted we still waited an exorbitant amount of time for our food and drinks to come out. They eventually did, in a trickle. Some of our party waited 20 minutes for beers. This was on a pretty slow evening and we couldnt understand why it was happening. If a third of our party hadnt had booked sitters for the evening I think we would have left, but we were locked into a certain time slot. Food was good, but the $20 burger wasnt worth it. Autogratuity was 15% and they didnt deserve a dime of it.

Last time I visited a Eureka was two years ago, at the UTC location on a Friday night. I loved it. It was an amazing experience; food was great, service was impeccable, ambiance was very inviting. This Bressi Ranch location is FAR FROM THAT: I was utterly dissatisfied. I went last night (Friday March 26, around 730). It was the first time I had been out to a Eureka in almost two years. After being sat down at the table, nobody came to help or even offer water while looking at the menu. Our nachos were delivered cold and hard (the cheese was cold, yet baked onto the plate). Not once did anyone come to check on us. The fries were terrible; old and hardly crispy, and the truffle sauce was dull and bland and had a skin on top. By the time the burger came out, I was ready to leave. The burger was alright, but for $22, I expected more than just an alright burger. Keep in mind... I have had this burger several times at the UTC location and loved it. After looking at the bill, (which initially was wrong, as it had another groups charges) it was a disappointment that I spent nearly $95 (after adjustments) on two sad attempts at dinner. The only reason I stayed was because it was the first time I had seen my friend in a long while (with whom I had been to the UTC location 2 years ago), and he had his mind set on this place. I wanted to bring it up to a manager, but he begged me to brush if off and forget it. I am writing this now to let you know I will never patronize this location again, and would struggle to return to any other location. Oddly enough, I had plans to come to this location with 7 co-workers on Monday; needless to say, plans have changed. Id like to give the management some true feedback; having worked in food and beverage and hospitality management for 7 years, I understand how valuable feedback is. Id like to give management the opportunity to make it right, though I called the next day, and they just told me to email customer service.... still havent heard back from them in the last five days, so their chance of reconciliation is pretty much up. Considering I turned down going to a steakhouse for this, I feel like I played the fool, and lost big time. It pains me to share such an experience; two stars because the burger was alright, the location was sanitary, and the wait was not too long for a Friday night... All of these expectations are reasonable, plus nobody takes a one star review seriously.
