They have everything setup electronically and you will never have to step into the office if you dont want to, which works out great for me because I am always traveling for my job. All I have to do is email them all the documents. Then they process all the tax papers in a short time and email me back for e-signatures! Then, 10 days later my refund shows up in my checking account! And I can tell you, my filing is not that simple with tons of stock trading and filing taxes in multiple states every year. If I forget to present any tax doc and I find it out after couple months, guess what, they take care of it without any issues! Glad I found eTax!!! :)

Never in my life had I had to pay almost $300 for a “short form!” I initially wanted a preparer to help me of my same faith, & guide me for future decisions in money matters that strengthen my Iman & our Ummah. I understood ahead of time my tax consultant Crystal Morillon was not of my faith but I decided to give her a chance since the owner who was, overseas the companies practices. I politely waited for her to finish with another client and we started off great. She then became hostile because what she was trying to convey to me did not reflect what was actually said. She speaks great English but there was a lack of comprehension & formal communication. She claimed to have needed distribution forms from a retirement payout. I explained to her that I had everything she could have possibly needed. She was so angry in expressing that the IRS will audit me and penalize me if I didn’t have the correct paperwork. I honestly didn’t want to come back & deal with her disrespectful behavior so I expressed to Crystal that I was willing to pay the penalty. Then she said she couldn’t do it. Then she threatened to call the police on me cause I wanted to follow through with my appointment but her communication skills were way off target. She said she was yelling at me cause she went to a concert the night before. If that was the case, a person would have lost their vocals, not increased them to extreme tones. But nevertheless we continued & she stomped around the office in a very infantile state. After all was said and done, and three hours worth of phone calls to the east coast in an attempt to get docs that Crystal claimed to have needed, we “COMPLETED” the filing with EXACTLY what I originally came with and she was wrong. I knew exactly what I needed and had brought that. I would have gotten a better return if we had properly completed areas of charity, but at that point I needed masjid more than ever. Very unfortunate!

This is my second year going to eTax. The first year was at the Orange office, but this year I went to the larger Anaheim office. I was helped pretty quickly and the young lady was quick and efficient, though not much small talk. I was out of there in no time. This is the place to go if you just want to get your taxes done.The reason I gave four stars instead of five was because I needed my spouses signature, so I scanned and emailed it to eTax per the ladys instructions. I had asked in the email to be notified that they had indeed received my signed paperwork. Unfortunately, it wasnt until two days later that I had to call to find out they they had received and filed the day before.
