Parking availability is usually good. Even though I do have a DMV disability placard.I say this because, realistically people with disabilities do need a little effort in each stride, so, handicap parking availabilty could be challenging at times.Good news is Esplanade always has adequate availability for both.Always clean environment with the hustle & bustle of the diverse stores there. Has a little bit of everything including tools.Only down side Is the owners dont care about the shopers ADA needs of a clear walk way.Carts, and big trucks block off the side walk off Oxnard blvd.They did some repainting of the handy cap spots and direcion arrows.

The Esplanade is a huge shopping center with numerous retail shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking, though around certain places (like the In N Out) it can get packed. It is fairly easy to navigate with several entrances and exits. It is less than a half mile from the freeway.

Its a big ol strip mall with chain restaurants (BJs In& Out), Home Depot, Staples, & a small Walmart. Not exciting, but is utilitarian.I used to wait there everyday waiting for wife to pick me up & take me home (carpool). Since she was consistently late, I started walking home from there. The 5.5 mile walk was v healthy for me.One day I befriended a goose thatd been knocked down during a storm. The goose recovered its strength by eating grass from a large patch. I would bring her cracked corn, too. One spring day, she (the goose) returned with a mate.Sadly tho, the property was torn down & rebuilt as an Albertsons mkt & I lost track of the goose pair.

Do you dread coming to this shopping center? It always seems to be compacted & people drive very unsafely here. They are currently doing construction 🚧 in the Neighborhood Walmart parking lot, so that can contribute but, I also feel the higher traffick locations are on this side of the Esplanade, you also have BJs, Inn & Out, Home Depot sharing this space.Once you hit Nordstrom Rack lot, you can find parking and more peace.Oxnard is on the way home for me but, I honestly find myself making the trip to T.O. for Walmart curbside now to avoid this particular Shopping Center.We shall see if completion of the Walmart lot makes any difference...

I went to whole foods market. I love that store. Awesome healthier options to fast food. Wish I had one where I live in norcal. When I lived here as a kid, the esplanade was a regular mall. Now it is a whole experience. They did a great job changing it. The only issue is entrance and exit. That is a mess.

Place is much better than 1997 esplanade mall I used to remember,, Walmart savings the whole mall I think, other business still not as good, but has lot of potential, remember those days in highschool I would go here to hang out with friends 🤣, n thought it was cool n hip, Mervyns shopping center had some cheap clothes.

Only giving it a bad rating just because of an incident with a white lady. Older woman verbally insulted because she wanted a parking… there was plenty of other available parking next to her. This was in front of Home Depot by the Garden Center. It was a white Tesla. Beware 👁

I miss the old Esplanade. I enjoyed walking through the mall. Now its just the few shops of which there are two I frequent: Home Depot and World Market. I hope whoevers idea it was to get rid of the other one got fired.

Their customer service reps need better training, a monkey could do a better job. I would avoid this place, also, they have no cashiers. So if you have an issue youre screwed till the 1 attendant can get to you (military discounts, register malfunctions, etc). Their selection for what I needed was abysmal and expensive. I would have rated them a 0 if I could, but their sliding doors are awesome lolz. Good luck with parking too

Went shopping at the Walmart supercenter and got some great deals went there for a couple things and come out with a cart full of great grocery deals so if youre looking to do your grocery shopping go there and check them cause they have a lot of stuff at great prices so I highly recommend this store for your grocery products

Very nice shopping center. Quite accessible. Now the bad, Drug dealers and buyers at the transfer station. Vagrant people verbally abusive without provocation. Smokers far too close to the stores entrance. I suppose thats encouraged by the ash refuse being near entrance. Otherwise, very spacious, plenty of food, and ample parking.

Place has cool setup and my favorite local Starbucks. Even the parking lot / storefront cleaning crew is friendly each time I see them almost every morning. Love is always in the air around there. Edit: Open air mall type of setup with surface street style parking isles and friendly people all over the place. Many people in need in the area, so watch out for each other in a caring manner. Give if you can, you never know when you may be the one in need.

1st time at the store: The front entrance male clerk asked me a personal question and would not move from infront of me until I answered the question. This was very unprofessional and I was on a time crunch. There was a female clerk that even had a concerned look on her face.2nd encounter: I was on the phone for 2 hours trying to get assistance on a debit charge discrepancy. During this time I was hung up on, and no one was able to assist me in the rental truck department. Finally, someone answered in a different department and transferred me to a Manager.3rd encounter: I went in to ask about a product I had seen on line, so I went up to customer service. Mind you, I was the only person in line, and could not get assistance. The customer service clerks were too busy talking to each other rather than assisting a customer. They even had the audacity to look back at me and continue their conversation. Finally, I walked up to someone and asked for their assistance and he helped me.If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Fantastic open mall. Beautiful. All the shopping. Food and entertainment you need. Movies. Comedy Club. Food court and high end restaurants. Deserts. Plenty of parking. Holiday and Xmas. Forget it. We enjoyed going here for Party City and a Home Depot while the girls like to go to get their nails done in this little hole in the wall salon next to Party City I forgot the name of it but they have a good selection of stores if you ever just want to walk down its strip. And by the time you get done and pack away your things you can always swing by in and out to grab animal fries

Saturday afternoon. People humming around getting what they need. Redwood fence posts for a new arbor. A new faucet for another. Tools for me. Millwaukee,Makita are a mainstay here. They also have a massive amount of tile. I have never witnessed that many options in a large store as this. Self checkout is quick and easy. Fun fact: a long time ago this used to be a mall.... now its a shopping center and a pretty decent one. Grounds are well maintained but a lot of the shops that moved in have gone down hill a bit. Overall if youre in the area of the Collections its worth a quick check out of it.

The esplanade shopping center offers a wide variety of business types. Theres a grocery store, multiple fast food establishments, smoothies, Starbucks, dentist office, home depot,costume shop and so much more. Its never really too crowded but the traffic in the parking lot can get pretty bad. Id recommend checking the shopping center out, its worth the time.

The shops are not at fault. Who ever designed the parking lot and the lack of sidewalks needs to be fired. It IS NOT a pedestrian friendly shopping center. Getting from Starbucks to Home Depot is a nightmare, trying to not get hit by cars. Would be nice to have complete sidewalks from one side of the center to the other side. As the parking lot itself for the drivers, there needs to be more shade.

Old strip mall with large box retailers right off the highway. Theres a Home Depot, Nordstrom Rack, World Market and others. In addition there are many fast casual restaurants. Its a long strip so if you plan to go to several stores reparking may be called for (unless you like walking). Parking is busy though I usually am lucky to find parking right next to stores on the list. The general maintenance of the center is good. This review is for the center not individual stores. Although they are fine too.

Great customer service. Even i was only browsing their display the salesperson was soo kind and considerate enough to be soo patient ( i forgot his name but he came from oregon) if i. Not too bad, but if you are going south on Oxnard Boulevard, dont turn left and then go thru the Home Depot parking lot. Its MUCH easier to turn right on Wagon Wheel, then a left on Spur. I really dislike driving thru parking lots.

Oxnard store cant handle curbside pickup. Theyre 4-for-4 failures for us - even when the items were mere inches away from their service desk, they couldnt pull them, even 7 hours post online purchase. Then, when I give up and go inside to get the item myself, they have absolutely no idea how to proceed, given that I already paid online, dishing there with the item in hand (cause I went and got it MYSELF) but their screen says that the order isnt ready for pickup yet. Clueless. Stumped. Had to ask TWO different managers. Wow. The Camarillo Store curbside order process was FAST and completely efficient. Camarillo is far from home, so theyre only 1 for 1 - but that beats 4-for-4 failures, every day of the week! These 4-for-4 failures have spanned almost 2 months, so, it seems to me that the Oxnard store is NEVER going to get their act together. I wish district management would see, and address this. We only shop here as a last resort. FAIL.

In N Out, Sprint/Tmobile, Hawaiian BBQ, Chipotle, TJ Maxxx, BJS Brewery are located in this shopping center. I used to shop at Home Depot but they never have enough electric scooters for disabled and no one to help in the aisles. Getting into this shopping center can be a challenge in itself entering from Wagon Wheel mostly due to traffic lining up to order In n Out. Otherwise a nice area to do one stop shopping with Walmart, home depot and staples. Food wise, theres BJ brewhouse, Chipotle, L&L Hawaiian, pickup Stix to name a few. Theres also EV go chargers right next to Chipotle

Get little area in North Oxnard. Has good places to eat like Pick Up Stix, In & Out Burger, BJs, L & L Hawaiian BBQ. There is also a Home Depot, Walmart (Grocery), Tillys and a World Market to name a few places here. Sometimes parking can be bad near the food areas. A lot of great small restaurants including a BJs Brewery, probably the best deep dish pizza you will ever have. Also a Cost Plus World Market, very nice furniture for a good cost (tip go at the end of the year when they liquidate for all the new furniture). Theres a Chipotle, Hawaiian BBQ, In N Out, TJ Maxx, ULTA and several other spots. A nice spot to take the wife shopping while you grab a beer, pizza and a games on one of there many big screen TVs across the way.

This is a small shopping center that has several stores for you to shop at and restaurants for you to dine at. Some of the stores include Nordstrom Rack, Party City, Home Depot, Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, Staples, TJ Maxx, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Bed, Bath, & Beyon to name a few. Additionally, if you are hungry you can stop by and eat at BJs Brewhouse, In-N-Out, Chipotle, Subway, and Starbucks. There is always plenty of parking available and the stores, as well as the parking lot, are well maintained and clean.

As always, a cluster on a Saturday afternoon. Especially bad is the condition of the road on Esplanade Drive. The city of Oxnard is derelict in filling potholes and providing proper maintenance on a street that provides the pathway to a cash cow in taxes. They dont respond to phone calls so maybe some dolt in the city government will see this review and take note.
