Just did Fort Ord and area 15.the staff is very friendly and funny. We felt welcomed.for the rooms, Fort Ord was a very large room with great puzzles. Most of the locks are traditional but I thought the puzzles were great.Area 50 is a smaller room, and the puzzles are harder and very unique.Doing many rooms, I thought the puzzles here had a great flow. Really impressed by the puzzles and staff.

Challenging fun! We were out in Salinas visiting family. We decided to try this place out. The place is really clean. The owners are extremely polite and very professional. There are many rooms to choose from based on difficulty level and group size. We decided to do the Hangover. It was so much fun. There were 4 of us running around trying to find clues to unlock more clues so you can escape. This place is great for couples, friends, family members, basically just about anyone. You really have to work as a team to escape. We did manage to escape from the Hangover room. We had so much fun that we went back and tried the Area 51 room. We came so close but didnt make it out in the 60 minutes you are given. Time flies as you search for the clues. Cant wait to go back for an Area 51 rematch or maybe one of the other rooms they have to offer!!

The staff was very nice and the location is really unique and kind of cool. The room was ok (area 51). Room was fairly difficult. I found that most of the time only 1 puzzle could be worked on at a time, so for a group sometimes it was a little crowded. If you go in the winter bring warm clothes as the building has no heater.

Completed (and escaped!) two rooms. Both rooms are designed very well, lots of puzzles and riddles but all very reasonable to solve. Rooms are challenging, but half of our group were experienced escapers. Love that clues are independent from one another. Enjoyed the variety of puzzles and locks, all unique. Kid friendly, we had a 9, 11 and 13 year old participate. Kids were helpful testing all the locks with combos while we solved other puzzles. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

We decided to stop by Salinas Escape room on our way back from Pismo beach. We did Fort Ord first and had so much fun! Generation 1 puzzles, a lot of them too. The decor was great, the puzzles were fun and wasn’t linear. So we all could work on something at the same time. The game master was very sweet and helpful. Even though it was getting late driving back, we couldn’t resist doing another room. So we tried Area 51. Definitely a bit harder than Ford Ord, but once again we were not disappointed! It was a great way to end our little get away with the kids. Plus, we escaped both times too!

This Place was an awesome experience, the owner was so helpful and just made you feel welcomed. We had so much fun with our first trip (area 51) that we booked another room 5 days later (naughty list) bith were challenging and just a memorable time to create with the family. We will be back for the other two rooms soon. Please come check it out and dont miss out on much needed family time!

Best time ever! Definitely bring as many people as you can. It was just me and my fiance. We did flatline, so glad they are generous with the hints. By the end of our time I needed straight up answers and we still didnt make it out lol.

I have done several rooms and this by far is my favorite. Great puzzles, great props and decor. Staff is beyond amazing. If you havent done an escape room before youre missing out. And you dont do one here, youre crazy.

Had a blast. Did the Fort Ord room and it was plenty challenging for our group. Winx was our game master and was engaging and fun. Would definitely return!

Well designed puzzle that had us scrambling around the room to figure things out. Some key points are there is a good amount of reading to do, and be sure to read it! If you have 3+ for the assassins room you should get it just in time!
