I live in Walnut Creek, California and do not have a car. I moved here from Chicago and didn’t need a car there and, frankly, haven’t really needed a car here. When I do, however, which is maybe once or twice a month, I always go to Enterprise Rent-A-Car on North Main. The service there has always been outstanding. Sometimes, they are quite busy and you have to wait, but the service you get is never rushed. They walk with you to the car, offer different options, and explain each thing that you are initialing or signing.The cars are always clean and in great running order. I have never had a problem with any of them. I definitely recommend this Enterprise location if you are in Walnut Creek and need a rental car.

Needed a car for 2 days while my car was at the body shop. They gave me a free upgrade to an Audi Q5. Staff was friendly and quick to get me a car and on my way. The return was also quick. I like renting from this location as they always have unique cars to offer like Teslas and corvettes.

I recently had an experience in Walnut Creek enterprise that I wanted to share. I had reserved an SUV, but when I arrived, there wasnt one available. Unfortunately, even after waiting for 45 minutes, we still didnt get a vehicle, and there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. I understand that I booked it 4 hrs before and somebody called and confirmed over the phone . After waiting so long and not be able to get a car this led to my family and me missing an important show. I hope the company can improve its service and communication in the future. Thank you.

The best! I rented four times during a four-month period. The staff couldnt have been more kind and helpful. At one time, I was looking for a car with a NV license plate, and the branch manager, Kelli Schneider, made that happen by transferring a car from another branch. Kelli is top notch and leads a very kind, knowledgeable team. I will definitely only rent from them in the future. This is the Walnut Creek Enterprise on Main St.

When the heat was turned on the scent of cologne or some cleaning product came through the vents and I was on an 8-hour drive. I rented a car several months ago that the car smelled like smoke. Other than that Enterprise has been good.

I come back to this branch after a couple months and this is the first time I walk out without any cars from this branch, this branch was my favorite branch with professional stuff I rented more than 10 cars form this branch in past few years, but today I have reservation, for luxury car or similar because according to rental policy we are not able to reserve exact car, so I liked one of cars the have available for today, and I want to rent it for one week. But one the associate says we couldn’t give you this car for one week because we have another reservation for this car on Friday. As I know about the rental policy they couldn’t reserve exact car. I have no know idea why they says like that. And why the don’t want rent that car for me, Might be the transfer all professional staff they worked here to another branch and hire new unprofessional staff in this branch, which the west the customer times .that’s terrible

The trip started out with us having to keep putting air in the rear passenger tire of the van every 8 hrs. I tried to get the tire fixed or replaced at several Enterprise locations but they didnt,t have another van or were close due to the New Year holiday. I ended up purchasing an air pump. I ended up returning the van a day early due to this issue.The Manager at the Walnut Creek, Calf. Location get the 5 Stars not the condition of the van - Taylor hopefully thats his name was very professional and understanding of my situation. He offered a very nice discount for all of the troubles that we encountered with the rental. This was totally a professional courtesy and well done!

Kelly is the best. Kelly went above and beyond to get the 4x4 car during holiday season. She even sent her team to pick up car for me from Napa. I would give team 10 stars on how they helped me. I have worked in past with other locations, and they try to ask more money if I request a certain type of car but not this location. I will always go to them for all my rental requirements.

I have never had a more helpful and pleasant experience with a car rental in my life!! A huge thanks to Aaron and Mideha, they went above and beyond to help me today. I had accidentally brought my id, not drivers license, to rent a car today for a trip to a very early surgery in the morning. Aaron not only stayed after hours to help me when I returned with my drivers license, but was SO sweet and helpful and understanding. I had a poor experience. Felt I was given a more expensive vehicle than I wanted. I went to the Walnut Creek enterprise store as a walk up. Told them I would return it to another site. Based on that information they said I had to get the more expensive vehicle and added a $100 drop fee.I complained to Marcy the assistant general manager at the Walnut Creek location who was not helpful nor did she offer me a refund on the drop fee. She justified what they did and did not understand my concerns.I have been a very frequent user of enterprise/national for a long time. I don’t think I was given the best deal I would think I would get as a loyal customer and felt I was being double charged.I would appreciate if you look into the situation and see if I can get a refund on the drop fee when I was given a high priced car that I felt was forced upon me. It just felt like I was being overcharged. If that’s a policy of that Walnut Creek location it’s not good.

All of the employees here are kind and attentive. Im a bit of a nervous Nellie since my last car was a 2001, so I tend to ask a lot of questions about where I can find the buttons, controls, etc. They have all been very good at making sure I feel comfortable. The process of reserving a car is easy and the contract is clear and straight forward. Thanks Enterprise and a special thanks to Alexa and John (Que) for their lovely and accommodating ways. I had a great experience from the minute I walked in.Julius was very helpful in getting my car. The car was already ready. He showed me some other options that I might be interested in as well. When I brought back the car, Malik was very personable, asked about my experience and asked if I needed a ride somewhere. I am a Hertz Gold member and i have never received that kind of service. I tried to use Hertz last week and they were horrible. I booked and reserved a car and when I went to pick it up, there wasnt a car for me. I thought I was in a Seinfeld episode. Needless to say, I wont be using Hertz again and will only use Enterprise.

Ive been traveling and getting rental cars for way too many years now, and Ive never had an experience as positive as the one i had at this Enterprise location. The team there are young, but incredibly attentive, helpful, and proactive in their communications. They almost appear to..dare I say..care about the customer! Just do yourself a favor and lock up your next car at this location. You wont be disappointed.

I am giving 5 stars to the Walnut Creek Enterprise location. Their customer service is outstanding and in the 10+ years I have been going there I have never had a bad experience.I am giving your emergency call center a -5 stars. The reason for this is that the last car I rented had a tire blow out while I was on the freeway, while I was able to get it over to the shoulder and then call the number on my card. The person on the phone kept asking me the same questions and when I finally got him to understand that there was no way to change the tire on the freeway he told me to call CHP. Not sure why he couldnt get me a tow off the freeway then change the tire but he had hung up before I could get an answer. I then used my AAA card to get a tow and tire change.When I reported this to the Walnut Creek location they were all very concerned about my safety and no happy with my experience with the call center.Will continue to use Enterprise but maybe not use the call center.

3/8/17After a miscommunication and a poor customer service policy with one of their competitors, i came to Enterprise walnut Creek feeling a little hert.A drunk driver hit my car a month ago in Arnold (I wasnt in it at the time) and my repairs finally started last week at Cooks Collision.Enterprise sent Josh to pick me up from Cooks in a beautiful new Durango and we made one other stop on the way to grab another couple at Cadillac. He was super friendly and got me into my rental really fast; it ended up being the same Durango! (I requested all-wheel drive in advance). Good thing too because it really snowed on us over the weekend and this car was a safe, fun ride!I was almost disappointed to return it today when my repairs were completed, but the return process was just as nice as the initial check-in. Really great employees here all-around.After my great experience with enterprise this week, I wouldnt even consider renting a vehicle anywhere else.

Great last minute rental experience. I had to get a car on Sunday to prepare for the week ahead. I was offered the Walnut Creek location. I got a great car for the price. Not many locations are open on Sunday. Walnut Creek was open, Id recommend to stay open later than noon. Shuttle service needs to be extended beyond Walnut Creek please.

I was given a rental car after my car needed to go to the shop. The first rental car the gentleman tried to give me, wouldn’t start, so I was given another similar car on the lot. The rental car I was given had a back window motor that was clearly dying, and I had to call AAA after working a 13hr shift bc my rental car battery was dead. I had to take the morning off work the next day, to get a new rental. I believe it was Marcie who was great, and very kind. I used my toll pass while in the rental. After returning the second vehicle, I received a bill for $119.25 (for tolls and services). I have tried on several occasions to call the office and are Unable to reach them via the phone. It frequently disconnects after 5minutes. I doubt I would work with this location again. Very poor experience.

Rented at the Walnut Creek, CA location. The staff could not have been more accommodating. For some reason my confirmed rate was coming up differently at check out and not only did the honor the rate, they gave me a free upgrade. One star for having Bart pick up available. I’ve rented from enterprise over the last 8 years and I’ve always felt like I had a great experience except for this last time. The racial profiling and practice is unbelievable and completely unacceptable. I have never in my life been so humiliated. I was paying with a debit card and the usual protocol is to charge the card with an additional amount money and refund it when you return the vehicle. They asked me to verify my address with two different methods, utility bill and car insurance. Wow! I have never been ask this in 8 years and i always pay with a debit card. This isn’t anywhere in there policy that this is protocol. Last time renting from enterprise after this experience.

I love this place! The staff there is so friendly and attentive to all your needs. I’ve rented many vehicles from there for my work while traveling. They always greet you with a smile and accommodate you in any vehicle that you want from the reservation list. They have exotic cars here and very simple cars as well. The only unfortunate part is they close at noon on Saturday and closed on Sunday so I often have to pick up my car on a Saturday for a Monday road trip.

Theyre really good. Ive never had a problem with this location, but I once seen a woman and her son treated unkindly. The guy was pretty short with her. I think he didnt find her reservation&she insisted. Maybe its one of those familiar issues that the employers deal with? But when she and her son had to walk to a different dealership, I felt so sorry for her. I asked&insisted wed give them a ride but she said no.

Walnut Creek Enterprise is my go-to location! For years they have delivered excellent service, always going above and beyond. Their cars are consistently in top shape with low miles. Other companies have given me Smokey cars, busted cars and just gross. I forgot the names of managers over the years, but most recently was Sam who helped me get an SUV large enough for 8 people and even helped me load all our snowboards. There was a glitch in my billing at the end and he resolved it in one phone call.

The first car we rented had broken windows. We exchanged it with no problem. The staff was friendly and helpful. The car ran well but since covid, the cleaning products they use are over the top! We picked an older car so there woukd be no new car smell. Still what they cleaned it with made my asthma go crazy.They even provide a warning now about the toxic chemicals in rental cars when we pick them up.The cleaning products do not need to smell, to do their job. They also do not need to spray fragrances that make many people sick.We were stuck in the car with a week rental and they did not offer any fragrance-free options.In a state that claims to be so environmentally responsible, why are they spraying rental cars and hotel rooms with toxic chemicals???I will be renting from Hertz next time. They have fragrance-free vehicles.The driver, Perry, who drove me home after the rental was amazing and made up for our rough trip.

My enterprise hybrid failed on the freeway so I attempted to do a swap out at this location after charging it at a gas station for over an hour. The following error message displayed on the driver counsel: “stop safely, vehicle will shut off soon”. The enterprise rep on the phone made it sound like it would be super easy. When I arrived to the Walnut Creek branch they told me that the only option at first was to wait for another location to send a replacement van over. They refused to give us a seven seater SUV because there were “already reservations for those vehicles”. Why they wouldn’t accommodate someone with a current reservation is beyond me. I asked and they couldn’t give me an answer. Seven of us including two small children and a baby had to wait another hour for another van to be returned and cleaned. I’ve had multiple issues with multiple enterprises over the past year. Time to switch. Zero stars

I wasnt too sure about renting a car and driving through Bay Area traffic during a vacation. But we opted to reserve a mid size SUV for a trip to Solvang and Napa during the week and this location was fantastic. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. They offered us an upgrade for a very small charge to a brand new luxury SUV and we had a wonderful time driving our family and friends we were visiting around the state. Decided to extend a day and they handled it easy over the phone. Drop off was just as good an experience and we were offered a courtesy shuttle back to our hotel which was very nice. Will definitely return to this location when visiting walnut creek again.

I got the car and it was clean. I used it for a week. When I returned the car I forgot my garage door opener in the sun glasses holder up by the rear view mirror. When I discovered this I called. It was after hours so I left a message. when they returned the call they said it was not turned in. The car was out on rent again and they said they would contact the renter to see if it was still there. I never got a call back one way or the other. I am still missing my opener.

Great availability of vehicles at competitive rates. Ive rented directly from them or thru Costco. On a recent rental of a large SUV they had several options from 1-2 year old Ford Expeditions and Chevy Suburbans. The vehicles Ive rented have always been clean and no maintenance issues or warning lights. Staff has always been quick and efficient and got me out of there in just a few minutes.

I personally want to thank two amazing Enterprise employees from WALNUT CREEK, CA office, the Manager COLLEEN(i hope i am saying her name right) and one more amazing lady named KATLEEN PARSONS, they both helped me out of the way. So, I am a regular Enterprise customer and always had a good experience, until one time, when i rented a car from San Ramon, CA office and the manager Nick Thompson made my enterprise experience the worst possible. I was almost ready to switch to another car rental company. I wanted to switch my car with a different one and he asked me to keep calling and check if theyhave anything available. It continued for more than a month but he never gave me another option because he and his team doesn’t value existing customers and don’t care about services at all. They only want to get new customers.But as soon as I got in touch with Walnut Creek enterprise office, Colleen and Katleen personally found the vehicle I wanted, they especially called me to tell that this vehicle is available and made sure I get what I wanted.I am very impressed with their commitment towards work and customer service. I signed up with Enterprise many years ago as a back up, as I have been a long-time Hertz customer. I recently used this location to reserve a car for a road trip, as Hertzs website and functionality goes through issues where you cant do anything, let alone, get someone on the phone. I was fed up [Hertz] problems, so I switched to trying out here for the first time.I was highly-impressed on how user-friendly Enterprises website was to navigate and cut-to-the-chase for what I wanted to rent. That is a winner right there. It was also nice to call a day ahead of time to reserve a pick-up from the house to their location. Their valet was absolutely awesome, on-time, and very cordial. When I arrived at their location, I was treated respectfully, and the efficiency of the service between checking-in, inspecting the car, and leaving was very fast. After I got back from my road trip, check out service was just as efficient. I was even asked if I needed a ride home, and the gentlemen behind the counter came out to ask me how they did. Well, lets just say I found a new car rental place after all of this. Thank you, Enterprise!

I was greeted and asked for my name promptly, to which I was able to have a very professional interaction with Sarah Bettencourt and the regional manager (whos name I did not quite get). They took care of me promptly and I was able to obtain a Polestar 2 Performance package. It was a quick and professional exchange which allowed me to continue my day without skipping a beat.I will note this for all Tesla owners who may come here for rentals, they will more than likely not have any Teslas in stock as nearby service centers will only be able to provide them if your car is in service. So the only option they have are the Polestars, while they are relatively new, I did not enjoy the experience with mine. This was more of a design flaw in general.Other than that, I was also relieved that the manager was able to accommodate me when I explained that I charge at home daily, she was able to provide me with an adapter to charge the P2, as the charger type is J1772.Overall my experience was excellent, I was able to call ahead to make sure there wasnt any issues and was able to be in and out within 15 minutes. I highly recommend coming here for rentals, the staff will definitely take care of you!

Ive rented from this store several times over the last few years. In fact, I used to rent from their Pine Street location before they moved. In addition, Ive been renting cars in places like Germany and Austria, Los Angeles, Central Valley, San Jose and the Bay Area for many years. By now, Ive rented from most companies, from Alamo, Advantage and Avis to Thrifty..There is no doubt that Enterprise has the best customer service of them all. During the last year or two they have also been more competitive with pricing.My last experience with this office was with Mario Paoletti, an apparent Assistant Manager. He went completely out of his way to let us return the rental car after a mad drive through congested traffic in order to bring it back on time. He even arranged for a ride for us. When I questioned few days later whether credit has been applied for our rental contract, he responded positively. Indeed, I double-checked again and he did apply the credit the next day after the rental as he had promised he would do!In summary, this busy location is managed really well, obviously thanks to the manager and the assistant manager. Ive never had any serious issues with their cars and always received excellent customer service.

We live in Hawaii & always rent from Honolulu Airport Enterprise. The service there is always impeccable so we expected the same in Walnut Creek. Unfortunately, from the get-go we had some problems in Walnut creek. We had rented a van for two weeks. When we went to pick up it was very dirty as if it hadnt been cleaned from previous renter. While we waited, the agent had the van washed and cheerfully said, just be sure to return it with a 1/8 tank just as it is now. Never have we rented any car with an empty gas tank. How do you return a car with 1/8 tank? When we mentioned this to another agent when we went back to add another driver, he offered a $200 discount. That was good, however when we checked on final price before returning the van, the only discount included was a 7% which was the standard discount we were already getting when we first rented. We had to insist that we were told a $200 discount was offered us. The agent finally agreed to a 12% discount. The only redeeming thing about this whole experience is that our family who we were visiting in Walnut Creek had to pick up a charging cord and told them how disappointed we were overall with our experience...they gave us another discount again. I will try them again if need be as we belong to frequent renter program but learned to be wary of what they say, then do.

The only reason this isnt 5-star is because I booked a full-sized car for a driving trip for the weekend, and when I arrived they tried to give me a Dodge challenger. The car is a 2-door, low to the ground with very narrow windows in the windshield. Ive driven it before and it is NOT what a comfortable full-size car would be. In order for me to have something comfortable I had to pay a $15/day upgrade fee to a compact SUV. I think they need to reconsider that car and take it out of the full-size fleet.

The multiple dents were large and not what I have ever seen on a decent rental. I took it back for another car which was better but still not amazing. I have been using Enterprise Car Rental Company at least since 1980, almost exclusively. My experience this time, getting the car, driving the car, and returning the car was the most stressful I have had. Steve, did accommodate me by getting me a sedan. The young woman who took me to my car made the assumption I knew how to drive a keyless car. She left and I had to ask another employee what to do. The next morning, when I went to return the car, the emergency brake light was on. I didnt know how to release it. I called, and Chris tried to tell me, but the release wasnt where he was telling me. When I got out of the car, I saw the emergency brake peddle on the floorboard, but it couldnt be seen sitting in the drivers seat. I was given a grace period. When I got to Enterprise in Walnut Creek, I told an employee I was returning the car. I told her I had a stressful experience. She didnt ask why or apologize that I had had a stressful experience. I asked for a specific category vehicle. When I arrived for my pick up, my car was not available. My choice was to upgrade or downgrade. I was ready to cancel the whole thing. But Enterprise gave me some options, I upgraded with a huge discount, and Enterprise even apologized for not having my car. I even considered my gas option if the two vehicles were the same. The staff here are great and always offer friendly service with a smile. I rent cars here often when I dont want to out the miles on my own car or need a different vehicle for work related travel. They never try to upsale you or pressure you into a higher prices vehicle and their fees are transparent right from the start! I rent cars here for both work and pleasure and every time I experience excellent service. It is crowded here on Fridays and Saturdays so if you can schedule your rental for later in the day, you wont have to wait as long. The busiest times are 7AM to noonish so if you can stay out of that window of time, you shouldnt have long wait times. They offer everything from compact cars to luxury cars like Mercedes and Jaguar. I dont see where they offer many specials and the prices tend to be higher than other rental car companies. But if you want zero hassles with your transaction, dependable cars and great customer service, then you will get what you pay for here! Ive been renting from Enterprise locations All Around The Bay Area for many years now, and this one is by far the hands down most pleasant experience you can have in your troubling time of insurance adjusters and claim handlers and so forth. They make the transition in and out of a vehicle very easy and do everything I can to put a smile on your face.Edit- so unfortunately the seemingly pleasant experience ended as a nightmare. Unfortunately due to some unfounded circumstantial evidence, my vehicle was impounded and I was released three days later with no charges. For the following week and a half I approached Enterprise Walnut Creek numerous times attempting to find all my belongings as you know being a mechanic I need my tools to work. However the entire staff was 100% unwilling to help me to locate the vehicle and find my tools. They repeatedly insisted that I must pay my tab in order to get access to the vehicle. Ironically, in the state of California rental agencies are not allowed to hold your personal possessions ransom for fees owed on the car. At this point in time the car has been sitting wherever for a couple weeks changing numerous hands, and by the time I was finally able to reach someone that was willing to help, and I learn the location of my vehicle, a large portion of expensive cordless power tools where are stolen from the vehicle. When I asked for assistance in tracking my items down, I was met with the ReSound dang we dont know. And were not really willing to help you figure it out. So to this day numerous tools that were in the vehicle are still missing and now theyre sending me a bill with interest of course. In my eyes, that roughly 2500 in Tools that disappeared from the vehicle while not in my possession should wipe out my $2,000 bill? I dont know it sounds reasonable to me considering they actively prolonged my ability to access the vehicle.No I would like to clarify one thing this is not a post bashing Enterprise Rent-A-Car. In my several thousands of dollars worth of transactions over the prior 12 months, I have never ever had an experience such as the Walnut Creek rental agents gave me. Unbenounced to them, I was not stupid kid lucked out when getting rear-ended and got a nice sports car for a month. During the previous 12 months about 6 of the months and around $7000 was spent with enterprise at various locations. Thank the walnut creek office for the lack of that revenue going forward. And I understand, in the grand scheme of things, $7,000 a year isnt significant. But if they give that level of service to even a third of the customers that walk into that office, I would Philly expect that 7000 figure to jump into the 100s of thousands and above per year of loss for the company.0/10 will never rent from any Enterprise location again.@owner, after you responded to my review asking me to get in contact with your team, I did so with a full explanation of the situation. That was several months ago. Roughly once every two or three weeks, I have had to reach out again I have had to reach out again only to be given an apology for the lack of movement, and a resubmission of my case for review. and no ones gotten back to me in regards to this. This happened seven times. My last rental was a brand new convertible Mustang - it was a blast to drive. Usually, I get a sedan and, while not as exciting to drive as the Mustang, they are always solid new cars that are clean and well maintained. The folks that work there make a huge difference. They always try to take care of things quickly so as to not waste anyones time. Pick up and drop off service is a nice plus. Overall, you really cant go wrong renting from Enterprise. Booking the car was simple. My pickup location was closed because of COVID. Luckily I received a phone call 10 minutes before my pick up time informing me that I needed to drive 13 miles to the open location instead of 7 miles to the place that I ended up returning the car. When I did get a car I was given a wet car that was not the size asked for (downgrade) while a customer who came after me but received a vehicle the same time as me was given an upgrade. TLDR: If you are reading this stop looking anywhere else for a rental, and just go to Enterprise. You will not regret it.Story: I had reserved a rental at Avis for a road trip, and after finding out that Avis was already closed when we were supposed to pick up our car and having Avis customer service tell me sucks to suck, guess youre out of luck, I was scrambling to salvage my vacation. Enterprise was the only place still open so I went there. They bent over backwards to help me, and I got a MUCH better car at a comparable price last minute. It was fast easy and they were exceptionally nice despite being swamped. I ended up coming home one day early at the end of the trip and they even refunded my unused day. Chad De Leuze, the Walnut Creek branch manager couldnt have been more helpful. We had a reservation at Lafayette, CA but our flight was delayed and we couldnt get to Lafayette in time to pick up the car. We went to Walnut Creek and Chad did an outstanding job of making sure we got the car for the time we needed it at the rate we booked on the website. When we returned the car, we discussed a couple of little problems with the car that needed correction and Chad, without us asking, made an adjustment to our price. Rented from Walnut Creek Enterprise after being a 20 year client of another car rental chain. Because of the lack of service and recognition of returning customers I went shopping. Needless to say, Enterprise can thank this location for me now trying to exclusively rent from their company. I cant rent from the WC location every week but will whenever possible, BART hours prevent this at certain arrival and departure times. They readily recognize return customers, they are efficient, the cars are nice, the up selling is mild and even the shuttle service is always on-time and efficient and the driver is very pleasant and knows the area. I highly recommend this location.

I recently walked in to rent a car, with no reservation, to bring my Mother home upon discharge from the hospital. I wanted something roomy as she cannot hop up into my pick-up truck, for only two hours, and I wanted a discount. After dropping my car for service, I was driven from dealership to Enterprise on a Monday and arrived to a very crowded and obviously popular business that day at Enterprise. They didnt have any comparable cars but did offer up a Ford F150 4X4 crew cab truck. The truck handled like a tank and the auto start each time when the vehicle is at rest is a lil scary as I wasnt informed of this at the time of the rental and I know it was crazy that day. Just not a fan at all of Ford Trucks. Other than that, had the rental for two days and the staff was wonderful and accommodating from check in to check out and the complimentary ride from the Enterprise allocated driver back to the car dealership service department. Sometimes their cars are not clean well and at once point I got a car filled with dog hair. Not good but I didnt have to pay for the rental, the dealership did so nothing to do.

Got the laziest car ever and when I wanted clean the windshield there was no fluid so I had to buy it. Returned the car, told them about the fluid, got 10 % discount on the next agreement. My experience was excellent and Chelsea was amazing. The only reason for the three stars is because all the male employees were not wearing masks nor were they enforcing customers to as well. I was disappointed that Enterprise did not value customer safety. Masks are mandated and they could be fined, which they should be for not respecting city ordinances.

I made a reservation for an suv, but was assigned a Nissan Sentra. I am not sure what the reservation process is for. This also happened last time I rented. That time I showed up at my time and there was no minivan available. I had to wait 2 hours for it to come in and be prepped. (I think the issue is probably huge demand). There were no other choices this time. Also The car smelled of having been cleaned up after a smoker (not your fault, but...)The other thing is that I was not allowed to rent a premium car on a debit card anymore, despite paying the full insurance, the rental fees and the deposit up front in cash (debit card) and having an enterprise plus account and being a long time customer. That seems like an unnecessary restriction, dont you think?

Unfortunately this is the last time I will rent here. I have been a long time loyal customer to Enterprise Walnut Creek location (Premier Customer). Two times in a row now i have called in two report something wrong with the car. The first time loose steering. Oh thanks for calling, we will take care of it. I called while I still had the car in my possession and called the WC branch they were open. 2nd time I called first thing they opened since I dropped the car off before they opened. I reported the car had a slow leak and I had refill the tire several times while i had the car that was after I had to upgrade bc you did not had the car of my i originally requested, so i had to pay for an upgrade and may for the extra insurance . No compensation whatsoever! Remember I am a premier member. Then when we went to check the car damages I had to walk in the bushes to check the car!! Customer Service has gone tremendously! I remember when something was wrong with the car and you got a discount or a free upgrade, free upgrade if they didnt have the car of your choice. They would pull the car out for you if it inconveniently parked. What happened to that service -- they still have it in Pleasanton???

While Enterprise is my preferred rental agency (I rent 6 to 10 times a year), I must say that all too often I am given a vehicle that has very little gas in the tank. The last time it was below a 1/4 of a tank. It had just been washed, but wasn’t really clean. The windshield was filthy, and when I hit the washers - they didn’t work. The water just trickled out. I figured it was low on fluid, but when Inwent to fill it, I discovered that there was plenty of fluid - the system was not working. I complained when I brought the car back, and was given a small discount. But that’s not the point. This is happening more and more and I rent from Enterprise all over the US. It’s probably time to find a new rental company for my business.

We chose the SUV which was very dirty and had a 1/2 tank of gas. The staff apologized and said they were very busy. The team did a good job of setting us up in a Hyandi Elantra. However, the inside windows were very dirty and should not have been. We had to stop at a service station and clean all our windows so we could see out them. We did drop our car off at SFO which was prearranged but the drop off was not smooth in the least. Hard to find and a long way from SFO. Personally, I should get my $70 transfer fee back due to all the excessive work it took to turn in my car. Next time I will use BART as it is a lot easier to navigate.

I rented out a car which had problems ( which I realized after driving 100 miles) and when I mentioned (NOT COMPLAINED) it when they asked me HOW WAS THE EXPERIENCE, they ignored it saying that it should be a wrong SENSOR reading. I was driving the car and I know the experience I had. Its OK if they dont care about customers experience (this is not the worst part) but insulting the customer is not acceptable. Its not training; its not branch staff error; its a system breakdown. Cars are not available in the category reserved. At least 4 people in line were told the same thing - well upgrade you to an SUV or a van. If you want an SUV or van, youd reserve one. They have plenty of compacts. Needed a truly last minute car rental for the Thanksgiving holiday. I am a loyal Enterprise customer for several years and recently a monthly renter. I am also a debit cardholder and accept the second class citizen treatment in California (Arizona Enterprise does not take deposits or ask for paper bills). I was asked to produce proof of insurance, but noticed white people were not. I mentioned this to an employee who told me I was asked to provide proof because I have a debit card (policy). I told the employee that I was asked to provide proof BEFORE I gave them my debit card. I think I was treated differently because I was the only Black renter there at the time.

For as long as Ive rented cars from Enterprise, for at least 10 years, their process of cleaning the cars is terrible. The windows and the side mirrors are always water spotted, and there is a film on the windows on the inside.I have complained incessantly, but nothing has ever been done.In fact, when i complain, they look at me like Im crazy. Am I the only person who wants clean mirrors and windows so that i can have good visibility and be able to drive safely? I asked them if they use Windex, or some other similar product and their answer is NO.
