Small location call in advance to make sure they have a car for you. I had a problem With 4 different vehicles. make sure you check before you drive off. Registration expired. Make sure they check your oil, tire pressures, and wiper Wash, and your windshield is clean before leaving.

Only place I will rent a car when Im in town. Amazing staff, s/o to Calvin, Melissa, Diana, and Tevin for always being so bright and cheerful and welcoming. Never ever ever had an issue in the 5+ times weve rented a car here- cars are clean and ready, and payments are seamless and clear. If youre in the area and you need to rent a car, come here asap!

Just moved to the area. Very happy this Enterprise location is a walk away. Rented there twice within 2 months. The second time I rented a 15 passenger van. Newer model Ford Transit. That is one excellent van and well taken care of. DAVID was extremely helpful walking me through the ins and outs of the van. His service is prompt, professional, and knowledgeable not only to me but to other customers as well. The staff here has upheld excellent service and I am grateful for that.

The experience at this place was good. When I first arrived, I was surprised at the fact I had made my reservation for the wrong date. At first, the assistant manager seemed somewhat bothered by us showing up a day early. The clerk, Eli, was quoting me more money for a smaller car than what I had reserved. I had to take the only car they had in the lot (compact Mazda 3) because the small suv i had wasn’t available (Rogue).I demanded they gave me the reservation price and add the extra day, which seemed like the fair thing to do. After waiting about 20 minutes for the car to be ready, Eli showed us the car and they had lowered the price under my reservation rate. Everything was uphill from there. The car was clean and modern, I didn’t get any upsells when I told them I didn’t need anything. I just wish they would give the cars with a full tank.The return of the car was painless, they checked the car and returned our security deposit. I was sent a final receipt via email and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. Overall customer service was great.

All of the gentleman that work here are extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable! They answered any and all questions I had when I needed a car after an accident. Throughout the process they gave great advice that was in my best interest and I really appreciated that. I rented for about 4-6 weeks with them and it a smooth process. Upon returning the car, they even offered me a ride back to my work. They have been great and I definitely recommend!

Friendly service from all the employees. Shout out to Eli for picking me up and taking me to the Enterprise office. He also showed me the car I was renting and did all the paperwork. The quality of the car was great-it was well-kept and ran smoothly for my roadtrip from LA to Vegas. Great gas mileage too, and reasonable rates. It had been thoroughly cleaned before I picked it up which was great, but it smelled like bleach so Id suggest maybe they put an air freshener so it smells a little nicer. Sign up for Enterprise Plus to receive a discount on your rental.There were some items that could use some improvement:-Pick-up service: Luckily this location offers to pick up patrons at their homes and takes them to the Enterprise office. I requested a ride to pick up my car at 10AM but wasnt picked up until almost 11AM. I thought they forgot so I called them to see if they were on their way, and the person I spoke to said they were short staffed but someone would be coming shortly. By the time I got checked in and drove off the lot with the rental car, it was 11:30AM. This delayed my entire itinerary for the day, which was frustrating. I understand they are short staffed, but had I known it would take almost an hour to get picked up I wouldve just called an Uber to take me to the Enterprise office. I hope Enterprise gives out ETAs in the future when scheduling to pick up people in the future, or maybe just not offer that option if they are short staffed. That way peoples itineraries are not messed up.

Over an hour behind when an appointment was scheduled. Late for pickup, and left waiting in the lobby.Why even bother taking appointments if they are taken so casually? When you are late you make me late for others and so on down the line.I only recommend that you avoid this business.

Athziri Soto is the only unprofessional, inefficient, disrespectful, and sarcastic branch manager I have ever encountered at any Enterprise Rent-A-Car location. Before my unpleasant conversation with this woman, I had received nothing short of excellent service. To the corporate team: This woman should not be representing your company and much less managing an entire branch. I picked up a rental from this location through my insurance while my car was being worked on. My insurance had to extend my rental because the parts for my car were backordered. Apparently, this wasnt communicated to the branch, and Nico advised me that the information was not updated in their system, and they were showing the car as past due for its return date. I called USAA to check on the status, and they reconfirmed that this was indeed approved for an extension until Feb 14th since, as a customer, I had no control over backordered items and my car was not fixed. They advised that this would be in their shared system and that the branch could call to verify the update if they did not see it immediately. I advised Nico to inform his manager of the situation and to call USAA to confirm coverage. It is certainly not a consumers job to ensure efficient communication between two partner companies. Instead of calling the insurance company to verify coverage, this very rude woman called me to tell me that I needed to return the vehicle immediately and that she was sure my insurance would not extend my rental because I had maxed out my days. She then proceeded to try to sarcastically explain to me how car insurance agreements work. First of all, I am an intelligent grown adult, and I certainly dont need a lesson on how insurance works. Secondly, Enterprise employees dont work for any insurance company to assert any type of decisions made internally. Lastly, as a manager, it is your job to receive information and to inquire on the matter thoroughly with the goal of providing excellent customer service to your clients. I advised her that she was wrong and that she needed to contact the insurance instead of me to reverify. She responded with this: Oh no worries, if thats the case, you can just come in tomorrow to return, and ill just force charge your credit card. WOW! Grotesque unprofessionalism is an understatement. I advised her that she was not authorized to charge my card for a covered rental, and I asked for her name and her regional managers name. She rudely stated I could come into the branch to get a business card and hung up. I drove to the branch to get her name as she made it a point not to pick up my call after she so disrespectfully hung up on me. She justified her behavior by stating that she didnt like my tone. What tone do you expect after you tell a customer you are going to force charge their personal credit card? At no point was I cussing at her or disrespecting her. It was very clear that ego came before customer service. She was more concerned with asserting her incorrect assumption than in providing professional customer service. When I showed up to the branch, I asked for her regional managers name, and she stated that she reported to no one and that she would only give me the regular customer service number. I advised her that her attitude was unacceptable and that she was not behaving like a manager. Her response with a big old quivering grin on her face was,Try to have a better day and be a better human. Really Enterprise??? This tacky,disrespectful way of communication is acceptable from your managers? I am truly disgusted. Had she made one phone call, she would have had the information she needed to avoid being an unprofessional, disrespectful employee. Athziri, you were speaking to a customer, not to one of your girlfriends about a petty controversy. This level of sarcasm and the child like response is absolutely unprofessional regardless of the job you are entrusted to carry out. Enterprise please hire more professional individuals and more efficient managers. This was beyond unpleasant.

I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with the Duarte Enterprise. I love every Enterprise Rent A Car. Ive done business with them around the Country. I cant say anything negative about the company as a whole. They always go beyond the call of duty to help you, including Saturday, January 21, 2023 . Ive been coming to this branch in Duarte/Monrovia for 2 years. Theres a few new faces but the service is fabulous as ever. Im so thrilled to have been personally taken care of by the new Branch Manager, Athziri Soto, and Kendra. They are amazing and so personable. Extremely professional, but have a comforting way about them that make you believe they really care.I was a mess when I came in to rent the car. I was renting it to go to a Memorial Celebration of Life that day, for one of my dearest friends for over 30 years, who just died. I kept dropping everything out of my wallet, my hands were shaking and I just wanted to cry. Kendra was so kind and caring. Athziri was just as caring today when I dropped off the car and she remembered why I rented the car and asked how I was doing. Sunny and Nivo were very nice, too. Great branch. I reserved a car to be picked up at 5:30pm. Only to find the place closed with the lights off. I was forced to return the next day to get the car because there was no other place available that had a car at that time. When they opened at 8am the next morning I asked the manager about being closed when I had a 5:30pm reservation I was told; if I wanted the car I should have been there BEFORE 5:30. If I cant come in and pick up a car at that time the reservation is made then whats the point in having one? Additionally I was told that the original reservation would be honored. IT WAS NOT and charged a higher daily rate. When I returned the car I was credited for the overcharge but had to point it out to the manager to get it. I also had to ask for a copy of the rental agreement as it was not given to me so I could keep it with the car as stated in the printed agreement. Ive rented a car from Enterprise at various locations once a year for the past 15 years. After this experience, NEVER AGAIN. Having to return the next morning caused me e to be late getting to my destination. Ill pay more to rent someplace else like Hertz or Avis just to avoid Enterprises poor customer service and attempt to get more $$ from the customers. You lost a customer and Ill be sure and tell everyone I know about my experience. This place isnt even worth one star! Poor customer service. After seeing other 1 star reviews both hear and Yelp I see Im not alone in my disatifaction.

I rent from this location about once a month and sometimes even more. Staff is friendly and helpful.Most of the time I am in and out of there in about 5 minutes with my rental or dropping it off.There was only a single instance that I had to wait about an hour to pick up my rental when I had a reservation but I understand some days can get busier and I voiced my feedback and it seemed they took my feedback seriously which I value in terms of the staff and customer service that is provided.

I reserved a car online for 4 days and was quoted roughly $178. No problem. I get to Enterprise and talked with an agent. She informed me that since I was using my debit card that they would also need a deposit of $200. Again not a problem. Instead of using my insurance I opted to use their insurance full coverage of course. Wow what a mistake the insurance cost more than the rental did. The car they rented me, the front driver side bumper was scratched and looked like somebody had already started working on the bumper it had already been sanded down to make it smooth. The agent seen and taken a picture of the damage during the walk around inspection of the vehicle with me. I feeling confident that they know about the damage to the bumper I accepted the car. I used the car for 4 days. But I had to extend the rental another day at $44. Not a problem. Well when I turned the car in the following day. I guess the manager went and inspected the car and I noticed that her took a while looking at the bumper, the same damage that was there when I rented the car. When he came in informed him that the damage was there when I got the car. Long story short. From the $178 for 4 days to $444.19 end cost for 5 days. Next time Ill just drive my own car and save almost $500. Oh and the deposit of $200 was included in the final price. So I didnt get that back. But on a happier note, I did enjoy the Christmas spent with family I dont get to see often.THANK YOU.

Terrible! I am a rewards person and have rented through Enterprise for years but never at this location in Duarte. I even went back the next day to get my rental and walked home without a car 2 days in a row and the sad part is the guys behind the counter did not seem to car much. please make sure you ask alot of questions and read the fine print of the contract because there is alot they dont tell you that is crucial for a successful car rental for you. I ended up in Arcadia where I will review that location as well.

Enterprise has a real bad problem with store. My husband and I have rented from enterprise for years and have even bought cars from them. I had a truck break down and had Car Max send a tow truck pick it up. I asked them if they could get me a car rental for the day so they had enterprise pick me up. Enterprise wanted a 200 deductible and sold me a 10 dollar a insurance package which I did not need because my insurance covers car rentals. This seemed pretty standard. Car Max called and said that they would take several days to repair our truck and they would pay for the car rental. I told them I wanted to take the insurance off because I already had my own policy. Enterprise called and said I need to have the car inspected before they would remove it. I went to closer place no problems. When I went to return the car they were charging me for a whole week. I explained I was only paying for one day and Car Max was paying for the rest. They told me that Car Max never called them. So I called CarMax they told me to put the salesperson on the phone. Apparently they manger never entered it in the computer because she had the order number on her phone. When they went out to inspect the car they found a dent in the passenger door. I was asked what my insurance deductible was then told that I would have to pay 250 dollars but since I had paid a deductible and the price of the 1st day rental with insurance of a total 238.90 that they would only charge me 12 dollars more to settle the issue and send it to their recovery department. On Sunday, 6 days later I receive a call from a manager claiming I was not charged for two days of insurance and that she was charging an other 21.03 on to my account. The good new was the door only cost 70 dollars to repair. She was not sure if they were going to send a refund or if I had to call the number on the incident report because it was not her department. I asked if I could talk to some one in charge and she stated she was in charge. I never received a receipt because Car Max was paying for the rental. After I hung up I realized that the place was not open on Sunday. When I looked on the incident report the only number to call was my insurance company. So I called them and they never received any call from Enterprise and it is not their policy to have the customer pay the deductible to a second party. I found that the manager was uniformed at best and difficult to understand due to her low modulating voice. I left feeling unsure of the ethics of what occurred. After the call I received on Sunday I was sure that this was not the standard practice of the company.

This place is amazing well Richard is AMAZING let me start off by saying I started on a Tuesday at the enterprise right by me (Glendora) they had one car (even after I called before making sure the had something bigger I have 2 car seats) they only had a charger so that wasnt happening. Next I went to the enterprise on citrus same day all I have to say is if thats the last place on earth to rent a car from then Im out of luck it was such a bad experience. Now its Wednesday and my 3rd enterprise and third time is the charm Richard was totally welcoming made sure I got a suv so there was some room in it he was just great, this is the only place Ill rent from for now on.

Like always, your service was excellent, the staff was courteous and professional. The only issue I have is the last two rental I had a little car issue, I believe the February rental, the brakes were bad, did not notice until we left on our weekend getaway, doing 70-75 mph then braking, not a good feeling, then the last rental, August, while driving on the freeway, bad shaking in the steering wheel, tire balance or wheel alignment. Better car maintenance goes a long way. I will and I am going to continue my business with Enterprise, see you on the next rental

I had a terrible experience at the Enterprise on Huntington in Duarte. The representative there was condescending and rude to my father in law. We waited about 45 minutes to get the car even though we made an appointment.No one went over the rental agreement with us. We were under the impression that we had unlimited miles but that wasnt the case. I looked at the agreement while we were in the car and called back and changed it. I ended up paying twice what I thought it would cost me.Overall the experience was not very good. I called the corporate office two weeks ago but they still havent responded back to my request. I called twice and I am just frustrated with Enterprise. I would never ever rent a car from Enterprise again.

Ive been to this location at least a half dozen times generally with decent customer service. After today, Ive decided I will no longer go with Enterprise. I was under the impression I was speaking with someone at the location. It was frustrating to ask multiple times if they had any cars with tint to be told there was no way of guaranteeing that the car I wanted would be available and it was a first come, first served kind of basis. Then I find out the reason why no one will tell me if a particular car was at the office I thought I was calling. I was calling a call center. That is not mentioned until you ask them. They didnt try to help me get in touch with local office or explain if I waited through all of the phone choices, one of the last options was to speak with the personnel at the location directly.I know this type of set up saves Enterprise money but as a customer, I dont appreciate having to jump through extra hoops for the convenience of Enterprise.

I was assigned this location by my insurance company while my truck was being repaired. Clarissa Soto the assistant branch manager was the person who helped me and her level of professionalism and customer service set a new high standard on how to conduct business. Providing a streamlined service I have never seen in the many times Ive used enterprise, she picked me up in my rental, drove back to the enterprise office, and had me on the road without even needing to enter the building. She explained everything i needed to know about coverages, costs, and limits regarding my rental in an expedient yet detailed fashion that left me assured that my needs would be met. Her level of commitment impressed me yet again when three days later my rentals battery was dead. Living three cities over and after jump starting the rental, I drove to two of my local enterprise offices in Pasadena CA where the level of customer care was incomparable to Clarissas at the Monrovia/Duarte office. Not only did both employees at the Pasadena offices not have any rentals available, they basically told me I was out of luck, without offering me any suggestions or looking up any availability at other locations for me. When I decided to risk driving the rental back to Monrovia/Duarte, I was greeted with a refreshing level of care and enthusiasm by Clarissa Soto once again. After explaining my situation and need for a reliable rental replacment, Ms. Soto had me back on the road in a fresh rental and renewed level of assurance. I will gladly do any future business with this office and Ms. Soto before I try my local enterprise office. Ms. Sotos professionalism, ability to provide a high level of customer satisfaction, product readiness, and management skills are truly the standard any car rental business should strive to achieve. I will recommend that all my family and friends use this branch and Ms. Soto for all their car rental needs.

I dropped off my car and was asked if I needed a ride back to which I said yes. I was told it would be about 5 minutes before they could drive me. Over the next 25 minutes they processed all of the customers in there, waited for the building to fill again, and then offered to drive another customer back. I gave them a confused look to which I was was told it would be just a few more minutes (the same thing I was told nearly half an hour prior). Dont bother with this branch, the bad reviews are abundant and consistent for good reason. I ended up walking 2 miles home because it was significantly quicker than being ignored by the employees.Tl;Dr DONT RENT FROM HERE

I am currently renting a car from Enterprise under my auto insurance and I was impressed by the courtesy pick up I received from my auto repair place back to the rental location. I was given a new Impala with barely 1,300 miles on it, but it didnt fit in my garage so they gave me a hybrid Ford Fusion. Boy, do I save a lot of gas! So thank you Enterprise for your assistance in making my needs work for the best of my financial situation!

I rented a car from this location Saturday. We did the walk around and all looked good. My son and I were about a mile away from the place and my son noticed a small circular crack in the windshield. It was so small I don’t know he noticed and gave it no thought. I know I missed it and I don’t recall the employee inspecting the windshield.I drove the car to Reno and parked it and did not return to the vehicle until this morning.When I returned to the car the crack went up about 3 inches.I drive 8 hours back from Reno and dropped the car and explained what happened to the same individual that checked me out. He said “ok” and went inside. He didn’t say anything about me potentially paying for it.He came back out and said that I had to pay for it.I was livid. I have to pay for something he missed.But THIS is why I am posting. The manager came out after I said this was bull$&?$ and again, I was upset. I dropped some curse words and she told me not to curse and escalate and not to be upset. I told her it was my right to be upset and that she can’t dictate my emotions. I want to be clear I made no threatening gestures or language. In fact, I was more than social distancing. I stayed far away from the employees.It took me about two minutes to realize this manager/employee was recording me without 1) telling me and 2) asking for my consent.When I realized she was recording me I got even more upset. Escalation 101 pretty much is to start recording someone.I asked why she was recording me and she said for “their safety”. Again, I never threatened anyone. Rental car companies are not the gold standard in trust to begin with and when their employees record their customers without warning and/or consent, that is a HUGE issue.What is she going to do with the recording?Was it her phone? Company phone?Will she text her friends the video? Post on FB?Why didn’t she ask me for consent?Why didn’t she tell me she was recording?How many other customers do they do this to? Keep in my mind she was holding the phone in such a way where I didn’t realize she was recording for nearly two minutes.There was no visible sign that said I was being recorded.This conduct is deeply concerning.Also, the person who checked me in and out was not wearing a mask when he checked me in. He had it around his face but did not cover his mouth or nose. He wore no gloves as touched the inside of the car including the keys and steering wheel and did not wipe it down before I got it.He again was wearing a mask today but it did not cover his nose.Enterprise has lost a customer for life and this location shoulders the blame.

After making a reservation a week in advance. I waited 30 minutes for a vehicle that they claimed was being used to drop clients off. While I waited, they tried to upsell me. When the vehicle finally arrived, it had visible tape marks on all four doors and the trunk. They claimed that Nissan Versas all come taped shut and the tape marks are impossible to remove. I rent from this location at least every other month and this is the thanks I get for customer-loyalty? My business wasnt worth a free-upgrade because the only vehicle available in my selected category was an eye-sore on wheels? My husband and I have rented cars from Enterprise for years, more than 15 and this last experience was by far the worst. Usually service is good to great. Now please dont get me wrong the staff was wonderful. They were helpful and polite as they usually are but the problem I had was in the vehicle I reserved vs the vehicle I got. I reserved a standard suv for a weekend trip to a place where I expected bad weather. My reservation was in place for at least a couple of weeks. When I arrived I was told that size vehicle was not available. I needed space so a smaller vehicle was out of the question. They suggested the next size up - which would cost more. I wanted to stay within my original budget and they lowered the cost a little of the large suv and were kind enough to allow me a full tank of gas on the house but I still ended up paying roughly $120 more than I had intended. My husband said when returning the vehicle, the place was packed with people waiting for vehicles - waiting for which reservations were made, waiting for rides; that it was a bit chaotic. He wanted a ride home but after a 45 minute wait, he walked home. I do not understand how I can have a reservation in place for a fair amount of time only to be told sorry, not available when I arrive. This isnt good business. I do hope this was an anomaly and will be corrected on the corporate end. It seemed not enough cars to satisfy reservations or not the right type of car to satisfy a reservation. I do not know if we will rent from Enterprise Duarte in the future. My reservation was made through USA Hockey and I intend to inform them of our experience. There are families depending upon these reservations for tournaments, regular games etc. As a parent we need to be sure we are able to get our kids and their gear to the location of said events and would like to do so without extra expense. If enterprise cannot keep reservations as originally made, there needs to be some other concession for the customers. It is not fair to assume people have endless supply of cash when renting a car; there are those of us who are budgeting our money to get to these events. Sadly not renting was not an option - so we paid what we had to though as I said, that was not what we had originally budgeted for.Thank you for your time.Christine Cusick

Enterprise frequently has the lowest prices, however you pay for it by putting up with their rude, pushy employees. I rent once a month and have found that Avis is the way to go. AVIS accomodates me, doesnt hassle me constantly to buy their insurance, and speaks courteously. I am referring to the site in Duarte, CA. Enterprise has one of the rudest female employees Ive ever encountered. She treated me like she was really doing me a favor by renting to me. The car I rented broke down coming up the grapevine in CA so I pulled over and called the company. They sent a tow truck service to said they had to take me to the office that was noted by Enterprise so they could drop the car and get me a new one. This location was 30 mins away and despite being assured that the location was open, it was closed. The service called and was directed to take me to the nearest airport location (it was a weekend) which was over an hour away. At that point, my trip was ruined and I just had someone pick me up. Very annoying that the location was supposed to be open and wasnt. I did not have to pay for the rental (my local place waived the fees) but it was still a very messy experience.
