Dr. Yassa is amazing at what she does! I felt comfortable the whole time during a filling I needed redone. Shes extremely personable and very sweet to answer my numerous questions. Her office is clean and staff is attentive to patients. Overall, Id recommend her to all my family and friends! I only trust her with all my dental needs and will be back! I never thought I would become a person who is genuinely looking forward to visiting their dentist. Dr. Yassa and her team, Jasmine and Yarely, are fantastic. From the moment you step into the office of Encino Family Dentist, you feel warmly welcomed. I found them through Google when I needed a routine check-up and cleaning, and the whole experience was amazing. Dr. Yassa is not only extremely professional, but also personable, caring, and kind. We ended up chatting about our dogs for most of my visit, and I didnt even notice how quickly time passed.

Dr. Yassa and Jasmine are both so kind and understanding! I and told them I was nervous and they never once made me feel bad about the state of my teeth. I needed a root canal and after seeing a different dentist, and their “specialist” they both told me it was impossible to finish. I went to doctor Yassa after being screwed over hoping to see if she could help and she fixed me up no problem! Her and her team are so gentle and do great work! If you want to listen to music during your appointments they are understanding and just do their thing. I drive 30min just to see them because they are by far the best dental car I have ever received. Love love love coming here :)

I’m not a fan of going to the dentist… and if you’re like me… you should try this office and this dentist! Staff was super friendly and welcoming. The office was meticulously clean and parking was easy. Dr Yassa was quick but thorough, so I was able to get in and out in the morning in less than 1 hour for my annual cleaning and X-rays! Not sure I’ll ever be a fan of going to “a” dentist, but I’m 1000% a fan of going to “this office and this dentist” for my dental needs!!

This place is amazing. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years (very embarrassed about this fact) but coming in, they did not shame me about it. They actually made me feel welcomed and they help me get my teeth back into shape. It made such a huge difference in my personal life. My wife and my son come here as well. Every time I walk in, they make me feel like part of the family. It’s actually pretty amazing how much they remember from past visits. This office is not the standard business that tries to get as many people in the door and doesn’t care. I have had the best experience with Dr Yassa. My teeth cleanings are the best I have ever had, the least painful and sooth process. It feels good after. Dr Yassa also fixed a problem I had with a lower tooth that I had pain with for a few years. My previous dentist could not figure out what the issue was, he was talking about removing the tooth to root canal! Dr Yassa found that the filling was a bit cracked and suggested I get it redone. A simple process. I now have no more pain and can eat on that side again.

Dr. Yassa, Jasmine and the rest of the Encino Family Dental team are by far my best dental experience I’ve ever had. I found them after my fiancé needed an emergency appointment and after they helped him out he said I should give them a try because they were incredibly kind and did great work. I have pretty extreme dental anxiety and I have been sedated for any dental work the past 4 years or so. I went in for X-rays and they were super supportive and understanding of my fear and we made a game plan for me to come back in and try to get my work done without nitrous or a sedative. My appointment was today and I was on the verge of tears checking in and Dr. Yassa gave me a run down of everything we were doing. I brought in noise canceling headphones (because nobody likes the dental drill!) and throughout the whole process I was fairly distressed but they worked with me the whole way to make sure I was comfortable and okay to proceed. I’m so happy that they were able to accommodate me and help me achieve getting dental work without sedation or nitrous. I genuinely thought that for the rest of my life I’d have to opt for that for any dental work, but I guess it just took the right dentist that I could trust and who would accommodate my dental anxiety and fear. Thank you Dr. Yassa and your lovely team - genuinely thank you!!!

I was impressed by the quality of her multi page intake and doubly so by her thorough, intelligent, and sensitive questioning afterward. Really amazing people, I got a lot of work done here. Cleaning, a crown and fillings. They where extremely patient with me, showing me all the things they used and explaining all the questions I had. Very caring of my comfort level. Great environment. Best dental experience Ive ever had. Would never go anywhere else.UPDATE. had a huge hole in my wisdom tooth that was causing unimaginable pain. Greater than when I snapped my tibia on the slopes in mammoth. I went in without an appointment freaking out. And they saved my life. I don’t know where to begin. I have a fear of going to the dentist and usually need medication to relax me. It had been over a decade since I’ve seen a dentist and was overdue for dental care. Well I said this year I was going to get over my fear and take care of me. I did a google search read reviews, and decided to go with Dr. Yassa. I’m so glad I did. First off, Jasmin assured me that I was in great hand and Dr. Yassa will take good care of me. She was absolutely correct. She listen to my concerns and my overall goal. I had a deep cleaning and two wisdom teeth extracted. I was nervous but I felt like I was in good hands. She let me know everything that was going on. She provided me with detailed instructions to care for myself at home. I was expecting to have a lot of pain the next day but to my surprise I did not! I felt like a new woman, a woman who had overcome her fear and I owe that to Dr. Yassa. I even told my daughter if she needs a dentist, Dr. Yass is the dentist to see. The utmost professional and thorough dentist I have ever experienced. Dr. Yassa was very detailed about her work and performed dental work that was neccessary not what the insurance companies pay for. My entire family is with dr. Ive finally found my family dentist! Dr. Yassa is absolutely wonderful. She is very thorough and never rushes anything. Unlike other dentists Ive seen over the years, she isnt quick to diagnose, but rather takes her time to see what is or isnt working, and then will decide on the next step. I appreciate that about her. My kids adore her and love going to see her, especially getting to pick a toy from her surprise basket. Let’s be honest who likes to go to the dentist..? Very few people, right? But I can honestly say that I LOVE going to Encino Family Dental. Not only am I treated like her only patient, she’s not running from room to room she’s focused on me and my care, but she’s skilled beyond belief!! I’ve had to have some extensive work done and each and every time she out does herself. She explains the process even the expected pain level. Dr. Yassa has helped my family and I countless of times. As a military family it can be difficult to find a good dentist but she goes above and beyond for her clients.For example, when my 13yr old son decided that jumping over a wall was a brilliant idea and ultimately broke his front tooth she was tremendous help. She booked us an appointment the same day and saved my sons tooth! She wasn’t even scheduled to be in the office that day and had to bring in her sweet children to help save mine.I’ve always been apprehensive with dentist but she has continuously shown her dedication to her clients and their well being. When I finally decided to remove my wisdom teeth I only trusted her steady hands. What some may consider a traumatic experience turned out to be a hilarious memory! Partially due to the laughing gas but mostly because of her company.She takes the time to develop a relationship with you and it makes all the difference. I highly recommend her services!

Dr. Yassa was so great with both of my boys! She was able to clean my 6 yr olds teeth no problem and filled 2 cavities for my 8 year old without him even batting an eye. I was so impressed with how she handled them, they actually like going to the dentist!

Dr. Yassa takes the time with each patient to make sure they feel comfortable. She will explain what is happening and make sure youre never experiencing any pain during the procedures/cleanings. Some dental offices have felt like going to the deli. You take a number or check-in, wait until youre called, and then youre shuffled through the process. You only see the dentist once at the very end as they inspect your teeth after someone else has cleaned them. Dr. Yassa personally cleans your teeth and clearly takes the time to know you and especially the health of your teeth/gums. Because of this it feels like a Wellness Spa for my mouth and not just a cleaning or checkup. After the traumatic trips to the dentist Ive had in the past it is almost miraculous for me to think of Encino Family Dental as one of my happy places! I always leave feeling taken care of and considered as a person, not just another set of teeth. For anyone who has had bad experiences at the dentist before I highly recommend this Tooth Spa!!!

Amazing! I am always anxious and a bit scared before visiting the dentist. But Dr Yassa made me feel comfortable and reassured. She talked me through the whole procedure. Jasmin checked me in and entertained me with her vast knowledge of Peruvian cuisine lol I will definitely be coming back, hopefully just for cleaning.

So great to be back at Dr. Yassa’s practice post-Covid. I felt safe and welcomed as always for my usual cleaning. I noticed staff members washing hands upon entering and leaving the room which is a welcomed change. PPE is plentiful here and the staff have what they need. She saw me right away and took such good care of me. My front tooth looks better than before.
