Working with John for our daughters bridal shower was a pleasure. The food was delicious, delivered on time and many of the guests complimented the entrees. We really appreciated that John was able to have the cake delivered with the food, in one trip. We are so excited to work with Emuna again for the wedding on August 18. It will be a bigger affair and to know that John can deliver such delicious food helps make the planning of the wedding less stressful. I highly recommend this catering company.

Exceeded expectations! I searched for over a week for help with a Kosher sandwich tray for Father’s Day lunch, to no avail. Emailed Emuna on Thursday afternoon, received response same day, and a call from John on Friday. Not being Jewish, I’m dependent on providers to guide me on how to do the right thing for the Jewish side of our family. Sadly, most providers aren’t very nice, or helpful. John was responsive, helpful and most importantly, kind. Didn’t make me feel ignorant or inferior; answered all my questions and made thoughtful recommendations. He took my order Friday afternoon, and Sunday morning I picked up a beautiful lunch spread, nicely packed for easy transport. Very generous portions, reasonably priced. Beautiful presentation; included meats, delicious pretzel rolls, pickles, tomatoes, olives and condiments. The Mediterranean tray was a huge hit. Everyone complimented the great tasting food. I’m so grateful to have found Emuna, and will definitely use in the future. Thank you, John!

Amazing customer service from beginning to end. I was a first time customer when I first called in, and had an amazing experience with Emuna. I ordered for am extended work meeting that served breakfast and lunch. Not only did Saeed make amazing recommendations over the phone, the food was delicious and beautifully set up. We were so glad we found Emuna to cater our wedding! John was easy to keep in touch with and was very responsive. He truly did a great job with our venue to make sure all was smooth for us. They provided a ton of food and no one left hungry! The brisket was a big hit! We got lots of compliments on the food/dessert in general. I explained my last minute dilemma and his care was beyond. The food was great! Everything worked out really well. We needed 300 boxed lunches for some high-end guests at an event. Coming from Idaho, and not being able to sample the food in advance, I was a little nervous, BUT it worked out great. John delivered the food exactly when we needed it. Had all the boxes clearly labeled. He even made some 100% vegan options, even coming up with a custom vegan dessert for those guests. We were not looking for Kosher food, I just wanted excellent service, great food, and a caterer that was close by. Emuna checked off all my requirements! Would definitely use them again!Side note, the roast beef sandwich was amazing! Thick thick slices of roast beef. They didnt skimp!

Emuna Catering went above and beyond... and then they went above and beyond that!!!Im an Azeri Jew from the former Soviet Union. Not only is our cuisine very specific but our culinary style is vastly different from what catering companies are accustomed to in this country. We redefine what the term family style means.On top of a loaded cocktail hour, we were looking for a caterer that could provide 12 cold appetizers to each table, a few hot appetizers, and 5-6 different entrees that would satisfy meat-eaters, pescatarians, and vegetarians alike. And of course, on top of it all, it had to be kosher. I spent many stressful weeks talking to different caterers. None of them took the time to truly understand what I was asking them to do. And none of them could deliver.Enter John. John delivered on every level. We had an abundance of food. Shawarma. Chicken kabob. Shish kabob. Kubideh. Tacos. Avocado egg rolls. Moraccan cigars. And thats just cocktail hour. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We had so much beautiful food waiting for us at our table after the ceremony concluded. Im tempted to list everything here but it would make this review far too long. Nobody was hungry for one second at any point throughout the night and the food was amazing.There was also a desert room at our wedding that could have doubled as an art installation. The fruit was cut and assorted beautifully across the tables. There were so many different types of pastries. We had a tea station and an espresso station, both of which had a server who showed the most generous hospitality with their spirit. Everyone keeps talking to us about the desert room. My aunt just called me yesterday to rave about the wedding, specifically the food and the deserts. She told me it felt like we were all relaxing with everyone we love in a beautiful home that we created.Meanwhile, the bar at our wedding was outstanding. The bartenders were having fun with our guests. At one point, they brought out a tray of shots to the dance floor with bottles that had VIP sparklers attached. I had no idea they were going to do that. It was a blast. If thats not your thing, Im sure they would read the room accordingly. But they understood our vibe and added a lot to our celebration.Im telling you, John didnt deliver, he OVER-delivered.I probably called him 50 times throughout the course of the wedding planning and he always made time for me. John at Emuna catered for our small backyard wedding. He was incredibly personable, accommodating, and responsive while planning the menu. He also had good recommendations for amount of food, the tables and other equipment we would need, and even a kosher bakery to use (which was also great). The day of the event he dropped off everything including the needed trays and supplies right on time, picked it up right on time afterwards, and was able to accommodate last minute adjustments. And, most importantly, every single dish was delicious! We ordered brisket, salmon, and stuffed peppers as main dishes, and a few different sides of rice, pasta, salad, etc. I would order all of them again, and we had multiple attendees ask us for his information (which we happily shared).In short - Emuna is a great catering service, and John is a great caterer! If youre looking for good service, lots of options, and delicious kosher food, I highly recommend you go with John at Emuna.

This was the first time that we chose Emuna catering for our gathering. Although we live very far, Johnny was kind enough to deliver the food with Uber. The food was double wrapped and packaged in a professional manner. The food arrived hot and ready to eat. Our primary concern was the quality and taste of the food. Some of our guests were very orthodox and practiced a strict Kosher diet. After tasting and enjoying the food, everyone was raving about it and wanting to know the name of the catering company. Let me tell you, this catering company exceeded my expectations. My boss eats only Kosher. I had to cater for his birthday. I didn’t know many restaurants that service Kosher not did they cater last minute.I found this catering company online, and I was so pleased. Their menu & pricing was straight forward. Affordable prices especially given that it’s delivered to you, and packed so nicely. John responded quickly to my inquiry & was able to arrange breakfast for the following Monday.We had the omelets, hash brown, fruits & muffins. The omelets were just a little smaller than expected but delicious! Their fruit was so fresh & delivered fast.My boss was so pleased and surprised he didn’t know this company. We used Emuna Catering for the mourning period immediately following a funeral. Their food, presentation and services exceeded our expectations.Our requirements for the reception at our house included dietary needs for Glatt Kosher food. Emuna was the closest caterer to us that could meet this need. We had never used them before and we had to make the arrangements in a short period of time, namely 2 days. To facilitate our needs, John sent us a spread-sheet menu via e-mail and helped us navigate it by phone. We ordered a deli platter, vegetable platters, seasonal fruit plates, and assorted cookies. The order was delivered on time when we returned home from the funeral.We received many compliments about the appetizing appearance, quality and quantity of food. A typical remark noted that the pretzel bread was yummy!During the course of our mourning period, many additional catered items from Emuna were gifted to us from individuals who were ordering from them for the first time.We recommend Emuna Catering for general as well as special Kosher occasions.

First time ordering from Emuna and it wont be the last. We had some VIP guests coming in for a meeting who only eat Kosher. Searched the web and Emuna had great reviews and a variety of items to choose from. I had no idea where to start so I called and Saeed was awesome! I contacted Emuna the Wednesday before my sons fourth birthday party after I found out that the restaurant we usually use for kids parties was out of business. John helped me put together a menu for the children and adults on short notice. He sent me an invoice and let me ajdust my order to fit my budget. So the customer service was very good. Now for the great part! The food was amazing! For the price l paid we got an ample amount of food and the quality far exceeded my expectations. He recommended a variety of wraps, including vegetarian options, all of which were delicious. We had pasta and chicken nuggets for the kids that they loved. The adults did too. They were whole pieces of breast meat! When I placed the order l thought it was a little pricey. When I received the food I realized I got a great deal. From start to finish Emuna delivered (both literally and physically) for my sons Bar Mitzvah. The food was AMAZING. For the cocktail party, the falafel balls (the crowd favorite), the Israeli Salad, and bow tie pasta with vegetables are a must. For the main meal, the salmon and the chicken with mushrooms were delectable. The hot dogs and hamburgers for the kids were a big hit (I also had a hot dog). For dessert, the assorted pastries are also a must. I had nothing to worry about during the event, John/Emuna and the servers were so accommodating (they even wrapped up the leftovers for me). Let John guide you and listen to him. I will be using Emuna/John in 18 months for my daughters Bat Mitzvah. All week I got calls/texts telling me how great the food was. I usually do not write reviews, but for this one I had to take the time to share my experience. We just got married last week in Malibu. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 our wedding arrangements have been adjusted to follow specific guidelines. As the bride and groom we were both very nervous on how it would play out. Honestly Jon and his team were amazing!! Jon treated us like family, and guided us every step of the way. From preparation, to serving, Jon thought of it all. We did have to use disposable plates and silverware which he did provide extra without even us asking, thank you. The food was absolutely delicious!! No joke, best Ghormeh Sabzi we both ever had!! All of our guests loved the food as well. Without Jons care and support, our wedding arrangements would have been more difficult. Thank you Emuna Catering for taking such great care of us! I just recently had my catering done by Emuna and I just want to express how wonderful they were. After having been disappointed by the first caterer I had approached, who actually walked out on me because I had taken the price he had quoted for me at face value and he wanted more and I couldnt give him more, Emuna was like a breath of fresh air. First of all, the price quoted is exactly as it is, there are no hidden fees. 2nd of all, walking into their facility and seeing the neat climate controlled area was also very welcoming. John and Saeed were also very patient with me, guiding me step by step through their menu, and working as much as possible to match my budget. But the best of all is that my guests were raving about the taste of the food. (The sea bass was my favorite). What more do you want, Glatt Kosher food thats affordable, neatly prepared, and tastes super good! Thank you Emuna! I rate you 5 out of 5 stars for the wonderful work.

I got referred to this catering company by a friend. I was looking for a glad kosher catering to host event for 100 people. I could be happier. He stood out from our very first conversation as the warmest and most detail-oriented caterer on our list, and his hard work and consideration carried us through the process of first planning a regular wedding and then scaling down to a microwedding due to Covid. And of course most importantly, everything he served--from hor doeuvres through dessert pastries--was absolutely delicious. We hired Emuna catering for our Bat Mitzvah event. I know they have also done weddings. From the first meeting, John was helpful, clear, flexible and accessible. John and his business partner Saeed were always able to be reached with questions and concerns. Several food options were offered, with samples provided to us. The flexibility was really important to us as was the organization and the staff. However, the proof is in the pudding, as they say, and the food was delicious! In spite of reasonable prices, the food was beautifully presented and plentiful. All of our guests enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres as well as all the buffet! The party itself was well run and organized. We were staying in Long Beach, CA for the weekend for a family wedding. Shabbat at the hotel was a big challenge. Thankfully someone put me in touch with John of Emuna, and Emuna did all of the work for us. Not only did John prepare two great meals for us, but he also contacted the hotel and - after they had told me they would not do this - he convinced them to heat our dinner for us (carefully double-wrapped) in their oven, so we didnt have to eat cold food. I didnt have it in me to make sukkot dinner for 20 people. I called Thursday morning in hopes they could perform the miracle of making me a completely custom order for 20 people for the NEXT DAY. Jonny at Emunah Catering was great and very accommodating in every respect! He went the extra mile for us in arranging the mashgiach that we wanted and the meat hashgocha that we keep, as well as adding creative items to the menu such as the carving station and children’s menu. As a New Yorker traveling west for my son’s wedding and Sheva Brochos, I felt completely lost. I called John to discuss catering the entire Shabbat, and he eased my mind immediately. John provided menus, tips, ideas, and suggestions, and true to his word, he took care of everything. From start to finish, the entire Shabbat was taken care of: from candles for licht benching to havdalah spices, I didn’t worry about a thing.Of course, the most important part of a catered event is the food. John provided an incredible amount of food and a wonderful variety as well! My guests continue to rave about how much food there was, how beautiful the pastries looked, and how delicious everything they ate tasted. One important piece of advice: save room to bring home leftovers. This is food you will definitely want to eat again.

We had a company meeting, and a lot of the associates are Kosher, so I was pleased when I found Emuna, and it was close to our offsite location. I called Emuna to verify that they would accept a small order (only 12 people) and spoke with Saeed who was incredibly polite and accommodating.I emailed the order to Saeed, and when i arrives picked up the order, and was surprised and pleased that every item had the recipients name it, which made distributing lunch to the correct person effortless!Everyone commented on how Delicous the food was, I had a grilled veggie sandwich on pretzel challah bread with a side of potato salad, and every bit was Delicous. The bread was soft, the grilled zucchini, red pepper and squash complimented the pesto spread.I will definitely be returning next time we have a meeting in the area.

They provide Kosher airline food for Turkish Airlines. It was literally the most horrendous, inedible plane food Ive ever head, and on top of that is was 3/4s cheap grain-based food, little protein or vegetables. Obviously a very cheap outfit.
