The hotel was wonderful. The staff even more so. Special shout out to Henry who was such a source of happiness. The breakfasts were phenomenal and we enjoy the evening reception. We didnt need to buy any food the whole trip. Our rooms were nice. The pool was clean and stocked with towels. Great location with an easy short walk into the revamped old town (lots of places to eat and shop) Would love to stay again. Thanks!

Out of all the Embassy Suites my family & I have stayed at, this by far has been our favorite one. Although, the front desk wasn’t too welcoming during check in. The breakfast & evening reception staff made up for it. The room itself was nice & clean too. We ordered food during the evening reception and that was good, but the customer service from the bar/restaurant supervisor was incredible! Pool area was fun, relaxing, and big. Could use daily cleaning. We will definitely be back!

This is my second stay at an Embassy Suites by Hilton, and this is by FAR THE best one I have stayed at.Check-in was super easy, and the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful (so sorry I forgot his name).He explained everything very well and even told us we could get two free drinks if we get to the bar before 7 pm, we had just had a long drive so we passed but we would have taken up the offer any other time.The room was spotless, and the bathroom was spacious, and the water was hot.The bed was a little squeaky, and when you rolled over, the noise was pretty bad, and I think the base was a little looseMy only other complaint was that there was only 1 coffee pouch and not 2.The icing on the cake, though, is the breakfast OMG, the selection was amazing, and you could even order omelets to order, the bacon was fresh and the varieties of salsa that they put out for the eggs is fantastic.Did I mention free parking.......fantastic stay and Id love to come back somedayRoom 218

This is in our opinion the best Embassy Suites location in Palm Springs. Front desk staff and housekeeping is excellent here. Perfect location and excellent establishment. If I had to criticize anything is that breakfast ends 1-2 minutes after posted time compared to other locations we stay at that leave their buffets open for 5-10 mins after posted time (with no additions).

Checked in smoothly, although frond desk lady had an attitude.Day of check-out comes, as usual housekeeping nocks the door and ask me if I need room service, and told them no it is my check-out day. The same lady nocked again asked me when approximately I will leave, and told her within an hour, she replied ok no problem. 30 minutes later, I received a phone call to my room by the manager (as been told), she said that house keeping could not get in and we have to charge you for late fee of 75$!! I told her: I never received a call by you to mention the checkout time, or ask me if I am checking out today (as a standard procedure by all hotels), she reply with poor attitude: but I have been told by housekeeping that you are still in the room! So you will be charged.Felt like I am dealing with gang, not an Hotel that has “Hilton” in its name!

Our experience with this location started add well for the first two days. However, there were a bunch of basketball teams that checked in and ever since the management was never prepared to handle the crowd. The breakfast area was messed up, the lines were just disorganized and the staff couldn’t handle anything. They were out of bread, out of yoghurts within an hour of breakfast.To top all of this, the manager in the mornings was a rude person. Upon asking her for a late checkout she just checked us out while we were having breakfast! We were locked out of our own room 2hours before official checkout time. I don’t recommend this place and I know I’ll be revisiting Palm Springs but will not be revisiting this location. There are many nicer resorts around and I’ll recommend everyone reading this review to go elsewhere and not come to this Embassy Suites. This management is incompetent and plain greedy, they should only host teams and shut down their hotel - they are not meant for families.

Reception ladies are deceptive and lied about changing our room. Lady promised in the morning to give other room. Later in the evening she said they don’t have it. We wasted the whole day waiting for room change. Worst receptionists ever, the front desk manager talked so rudely with us. I saw she was rude to others in front of us as well.

INADEQUATE STAFFING: Periodically, no employees at the Front Desk. Also, no bell or camera being monitored, even when the lines got long and no one was alerted to help. When we arrived we had our luggage in the trunk of our car. But, any guest with no luggage in hand, should be invited by the Front Desk employee after checked-in to have one of the staff help bring the luggage inside the room. No such luck. We used the Luggage Cart, but the wheels were hard to maneuver with several pieces of luggage, particularly getting into and out of the elevator, and our hotel room. Even worse, as we struggled to move the Luggage Cart from the front door to inside the hotel, the front desk employee did NOT say I can call one of our staff to take this to your room. Also, we did not get a map showing the direction to the elevators in another corridor that were not visible from the Front Desk.BREAKFAST: The breakfast had a choice of items, however, NO staff present except the chef/cook; she could not keep up with the waiting line of guests, and no one came to help. In fact, the chef/cook had to leave to go to the back room to get plates because none of the staff made sure there were plates. After each of us ate from our cold plate, the omelets were not even warm, we then returned to the kitchen area to get something else. However, by 9:00 am, some of the items were nearly all gone. We knew the hotel closes the kitchen at 9:30, however, should a guest coming 9:00 am - 9:10 am get the very few left overs?EVENING HOSTED HOUR: there was nothing warm, not even warm cookies, no popcorn, not even warm sliced pizza, no petite warm hotdogs and not even cold finger sandwiches, as in other HILTON franchise hotels.HOUSEKEEPING: We returned to the Hotel at 4:00 pm the second day, and our room was not ever cleaned. The housekeeping person allegedly told the manager/corporate officer: “the ‘do not disturb’ sign was on the door.’ That was false. Also, she did not replace toilet paper when at the end of the roll, or bring new water glasses after the only others were already used by us.ROOM: Unsatisfactory. The lights were so low and room so dark, we could not read a map. No daily newspaper, no magazines; and, only one tea bag. We could not adjust water valve without getting inside the shower, and the shower head was so tight, we could not move it to the side while adjusting water temperature that was hot or cold,.SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: promise not honored.

Was on the fence about posting this review until I saw one specifically talking about my exact room number!! So here goes! I was traveling on official business and checked in on a Saturday for the 3 night stay. I did not have hot water until the morning of my departure. Repairs were not a priority as they only worked during daylight hours. The kitchen was still operating under conditions with no hot water which also was a concern of mine. My room specifically was very questionable on cleanliness as stains and mold in the bathroom were evident throughout. The staff was very nice considering, but points don’t make it situation right. Too bad they don’t do more when you pay for a certain level of quality and service. No need to reach out to customer service when previous reviews show clearly that conditions have not changed. Specifically to my exact room. Do better Embassy.

Do not reserve a room in the casita’s they have not been remodeled and are in need of immediate updating. The manager on duty named Maria does not follow up or through on requests for repairs. The main property is well maintained. The morning breakfast staff are exceptional and keep the area immaculately clean

Very good location and clean hotel considering age of building. However, I had such a bad check in experience which I also reported to Hilton Corp Office but no one has replied my feedback. I made a reservation with 2 rooms connected and front desk lady said she only saw one room under my name when I checked both rooms already and it was showing as checked in on app. She asked me room number which I never experienced someone asked Room Number when I checked in (i did not select rooms). Later she just said this was a system issue and never considered my 10 minute frustration with my family of 6. I understand we are all human and have good and bad mood. However, if someone shows their mood with customers, should reconsider whether this is the impression Hilton wants to create.

Totally enjoyed our stay. Of note are the two evening drinks with appetizers, and the exceptional breakfast provided. The stag was very personable, kind and considerate to our needs. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and they adjusted our room for a nicer location and have us a complimentary dessert.

At its price point it is a great place to stay. Conveniently located in old town La Quinta. Entire staff are friendly and helpful The free breakfast is excellent including the omelette station. The buffet is excellent too. The room is a very good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. All in all it’s an excellent value and I highly recommend it.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Free breakfast with omelette station. Caters to old golfers and very old golfers. Never seen so many Porsche 911 in a parking lot. Each night they have a happy hour with 2 free drinks, either cocktails, wine or beer. Bartender almost apologized for serving only bud and bud light. I took my two bud lights to the pool and at 60 I was the youngest stud there.

I want start by saying that the staff members at this hotel are simply outstanding! The hotel rooms are also very nice and clean. However, our biggest issue was the condition of the swimming pool and jacuzzi, they were the worst that we have encountered at any hotels that we stayed. The water was murky (can’t see the bottom of the pool) with a weird shade of blue. There were tons of bugs and several larvae floating in the water and lying near the pool deck. The weather was so hot so the kids really want to enjoy the pool, however, we simply couldn’t let them stay for more than 10 minutes as we were concerned about the potential health impact being in an unsanitary water. The jacuzzi was about the same condition. We reported to a staff member on the first day but nothing changed on the second day. Such a shame, it would have been a perfect family vacation otherwise.

We spent 20 wonderful nights at Embassy Suites La Quinta. The staff were ALL very friendly and willing to help. Gina, Olga and Tyler at front desk answered all our questions and gave recommendations for activities in area. Breakfast was delicious. Made to order omelets or easy over eggs, pancakes, bacon, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit. And much more!! Henri, Jazmin and the other morning staff always greeted us with a smile. Snacks in the evening were varied but fresh raw veggies were my favorite. All the staff from cleaning, maintenance, kitchen, bar, front desk, dining room treated us very well. The pool and hot tub were just the right temperatures and clean. The exercise room had Peleton on their equipment. We never used it but it looked new. Location cant be beat. Walk out front entrance cross street to Old Town. We will definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed here for a staycation and we enjoyed it. The Free managers reception was very well put together including all sorts of cheeses and other foods. They have a very open bar with beer wine soft drinks and even basic spirits. And the breakfast in the morning was well done as well, They even have cooked-to-order omelettes as needed.The rooms are very spacious we enjoyed them and they were clean, the gym was not too bad and the pool was fairly good too. Even though the weather was super hot here in the middle of summer, the place was still very busy. There’s plenty of car parking available for everybody and we really enjoyed the stay.

We are here now, Feb 24, 2023 in room 222, and there is hot water coming out of the cold water faucets and shower. As they fiddle with the problem, the shower water varies from 70 to 140 degrees, regardless of where the valve is set. We decided to skip the shower and go eat the free breakfast. We found the powered eggs and bacon and the cook making omelets. However, there was no cereal, bread, toast, juice, milk.After finishing my eggs & bacon, my wife found an unmarked door people were coming through with food. That is were the missing food was hidden. You would think they could afford a sign, to advise patrons where the other food was hidden.I am usually pleased with Embassy Suites as we travel and this location has been better in the past, but this location has no quality control at all.In addition, we discovered the door lock to room 222 only works part of the time. The bathroom door lock also misbehaves. The heater makes a loud humming sound when the fan runs. Loud enough to wake my wife and I during the night. Last, the shower has soap dispensers mounted at shoulder height to tear at your shoulder, instead of mounting them out of the way, at the rear of the shower.UPDATE, 30-45 days later. I had prepaid for the room before arriving. However, when I departed, they charged me again for the room. I did not discover it at the time, but found out after receiving my credit card statement. After some effort trying to reach the hotel bookkeeper, they eventually gave me credit for the over charge. They failed to even say sorry.......By the way, the owner never attempted to make any of this right.

Such an unfortunate review to leave as we always stay at embassy suites locations any chance we get. This one was terrible. The ac did not work and it was very warm in our room. When asked about it no one was ever sent up to look at it and upon checkout we did not even get an apology or even offered any member rewards points for pur trouble. The breakfast was also by far the worst out if any embassy suites weve stayed at. Cold eggs which were never refilled, had an omelets which was made wrong after 10 minutes of waiting for it. Soda machine did not work, muffins were cold and disgusting. Everything about the experience was horrible. Its a lovely location and the hotel itself is very nice but the customer service sure is lacking.

The hotel was recently remodeled and very nice. They had plenty of employees constantly cleaning tables and surfaces with disinfectant. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We had a patio with gorgeous mountain views. The breakfast was very good with many choices including made to order omelets. The dinner snacks werent the best Ive had at past visits but a free glass of wine is a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend them

I would have given them five stars, but the utter chaos at the pool between 8:30pm-11:00pm was irritating in the very least. While I dont ever mind children in the pool - everyone should be welcome and having fun in the hotel pool, this occasion, was absolutely out of control. There had to have been upwards of fifty children ages 3 - 17 in the pool with another 25-30 on the pool deck. There were teens cannonballing into the pool and each time they did, a wave of water came splashing directly in my face some ten to fifteen feet away. No hotel security supervising, the parents were not paying attention, nor did they particularly care. The rude children continued this ridiculous ritual for upwards of an hour with no intervention whatsoever. This was definitely the worst part of this stay. The rest was AMAZING! The room was well appointed and fresh, the hot complimentary breakfast was just what youd expect from Embassy Suites, the complimentary cocktail hour was a bonus. All of the staff were extremely helpful and went that extra mile to make sure that any inquiry was handled for you and quickly. I would definitely stay here again (but maybe adjust my pool schedule time).

We loved our clean and modern room as well as the views! Complimentary breakfast was also nice and there were many options to choose from. We liked the grounds and the cleanliness too. The only issue was that no room service was offered after our first nights stay and no one mentioned about asking for fresh towels or supplies. Overall, the hotel is situated in a great location, within walking distance to many nice restaurants, a public library and civic center with a nice park containing fountains. We will be back!

I took my pet with me here. It was his first hotel stay and he behaved very good! The staff were kind too. Only thing I didn’t know is you have to tell the front desk you want your room cleaned. It’s not automatic like most other hotels. I would definitely come back if I’m the area. I forgot to take pics because we were pretty busy the 3 days we were in La Quinta.

By far, from all the stays in Ca. I have stayed in this has been the best thank you! I stayed here over a year ago with Covid going on my son had to come to a surgery center, for his teeth. But after the Procedure we went back to the hotel and tried to let my son rest be for we went back home the front desk staff were so nice they let us stay! The room we stayed in was spotless didn’t have not one hair laying around.

Its a bit of a distance away.With the exception of 1 rude female staff member who butted--into a conversation I was having with another staff member the staff was great. Truly a case where one bad apple doesnt spoil the whole bunch.🙂The food and service regarding food was great. Additionally, dine-in food prices were very economical compared to many places, and the food was tastety/good.This establishment has a welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. I didnt witness any lingering trash anywhere. Rooms were also clean, and our group only had good compliments, as it relates to this establishment.

Not really thrilled about this hotel. Should have stayed at another hotel for half the price. Fire alarm tests being ran all morning and afternoon, shower gel was completely empty on check in. No service was rendered even when requested. Staff would just barge into the room when trying to sleep. Exercise equipment was broken (treadmill) because of water damage. Staff was a little bit on the rude side and unenthusiastic.

Upgraded to a condo. It was a big waste of money. The room was filthy. Dried matter splashed on the wall. Thick layer of dust in the kitchen. Mold in the tub. Uncomfortable mattress. Slept with clothes on because the place was so dirty.

Booked a 1 night, last minute trip to Palm Springs with my kids and I. Here is my honest review from start to finish.Booked on the app day of trip. 1 bedroom suite with balcony. Price was very attractive. But I was skeptical too. Arrived in palm springs a bit early and room was already ready for us to check in which was great. Tons of parking which is great.Got to room and my digital key on the app would not work. So I had 3 keys printed for me and the kids. Minor inconvenience. Room was actually really nice. Spacious and clean. Large bathroom and nice balcony to enjoy the 115 degrees heat. Air conditioning worked great which can be hit or miss at these desert hotels.Pool was nice but a bit dated. Nothing terrible, just could use some face lifts. Water was hot but it was also 115 outside. Water was a bit foggy likely due to it being busy with people and treatments necessary. Again, not a huge deal. I liked that they even had ice water by the pool and cups. Small conveniences like this pay dividends in my opinion and a lot of hotels nowadays skimp. So this was nice to see.Happy hour was nice. Finger foods and light drinks. Something again hard to find basically anywhere.Gym was nice. Modern and clean. My older kid liked it a lot. Kept nice and cool.Found I forgot a brush. They had one in there little shop for 3 bucks. Not bad price....felt nice not being a rip off.Slept great. No noise and hotel was pretty busy. But the rooms were very quiet.Breakfast....this was a pleasant suprise. Im use to normal continental breakfast and low expectations, but wow they had legit free breakfast buffet. Very nice staff running this which was nice. Had a omelet made to order and it was soo good. Choices choices lots and lots of choices! Something for everyone. Too many to list but bring your appetite and sweat pants!So I gave this place a full 5 stars for its mix of value and amenities. You cannot beat what you get for the prices. Good job Embassy.

The service, rooms, location and evening reception were ideal. The breakfast was great especially cooked to order omelets. I dont rate the stay higher because of the pool. A liesure swim was quickly overrun by kids. There was a large number of them, they were loud and were tossing a football. A few times football came very close to hitting us. I now regret not paying closer attention to a previous review that mentioned the same type of activity at the pool. After all the pool is a highlight of staying in a hotel.

My truck got hit in the the parking lot, the front desk told me they had cameras and they were gonna look into it when the manager came in later on that day. Right next to my truck their tree service company was cutting branches. The paint on their equipment was the same color left on my truck.Coincidentally when I went back to speak to the manager the first thing they told me was they werent responsable for parked cars. Then they claim they couldnt see anything on the cameras because I was on a dead zone but they wouldnt let me see the footage. I would NOT recommend this place, motel 6 has better policies than this!

When I made the reservation, I was given a room rate of $379. When I checked in, the desk manager moved us to a different room, so we could be in the same room for the next 4 nights. When I checked out, the room rate was $60 higher. The desk manager had said nothing about a higher rate. I complained to the desk manager when I got the bill, and she was adamant that I pay the higher rate. Eventually, almost like a used car salesman, she said she would split the difference with me. In my hundreds of stays at Hilton properties, I have never experienced anything so insulting.

Was here for a business retreat. The rooms were great, very spacious and had a refrigerator and microwave. There was a small living room with a TV as well as a table that could be used to eat or as a desk with outlets right there for your laptop. The bathroom had a walk in shower, no tub which was good for me. Also the bedroom had a TV as well. I heard some rooms had balconies but mine did not, which I was fine with. Why the new charge of $75 per night security in addition to the room fee. Not disclose when making reservations, and in five years of staying here never had to do this before. Also, unaware that the hotel is now animal friendly, and I had children and dogs running around the corner is barking and shouting.I thought the managers were heartless and unable to make decisions affecting the well-being of the visitor. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Embassy Suites. I have to admit, it was certainly because the staff and the quality of service received from everyone who worked here. This makes the stay so much smoother and so much more enjoyable.Something about staff who seem to love what they do and do what they love in their employment.The only thing bad about the hotel, (out of the hands of the staff here and more inline with the hotel) is their beds and their AC. They really have a LOUD AC in each unit - cycles on and off in the night with a loud thump. In addition, their beds are horribly old - in that, I feel as though I am laying in someone elses body indentation.Ive stayed at quite a few hotels - some hotels brag so much about the comfort of their beds, that you can buy their beds and bedding. Perhaps, all Hiltons should adopt this idea. In the day and age where people finally realize how important a good nights sleep is.Other than that, the location is walking distance to many great restaurants, and while the on-site restaurant is great - there is much to see and do just in walking distance.

Came here over the weekend to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. The front desk staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. The entrance lobby is beautiful as well as the dining area. Its like they brought the outdoors indoors with towering palm trees, ivy hanging from the balconies and a large glass ceiling above it all. Our room was beautiful too. Its an all suite hotel so it was like having our own one bedroom apartment with a living room, dining area, and a small balcony. We had a couples massage in their Hibiscus Spa as well as facials. The massage was nice but the facial was heavenly! It was my first one ever and I literally fell asleep a couple of times, it was so relaxing. We took advantage of their sauna, hot tub, and shower too. Everything there was clean, modern and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. I even saw some free feminine hygiene items. All in all it was an awesome hotel and I would love to come and stay again the next time were in the area.

Came back this year and they charged us cleaning fees for a small spot on the couch and a spot on the carpet. There is no daily room service unless asked. Well, they provide free cups and free ice cold water at the pool area. Along with free towels. And inside during happy hour you get free drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and free snacks. They were kind enough to give me a free early check-in, your mileage may vary. The room itself is spacious for a family of 6. The room is clean and bed is comfy. I get two big screen TVs and fridge and microwave. Seriously, this was an easy stay. And now, easily my go to early summer vacation spot.

I liked the location and the room comfort for sure, so overall the stay was pleasant. The location is great across Old Town La Quinta, where we walked to every evening for dinner.There were however some areas where it fell short:1) Dont recommend paying extra for a room with balcony. The balcony is nothing else but a segment of roof with a fence, located by the very noisy cooling fans of the main hotel system, and it was actually dirty with the chairs very stained as if they hadnt been washed for ages. Was not a place we were able to enjoy.2) Breakfast was not great. We arrived 45 mins prior to the end of the breakfast time but by then what was left was cold or finished, and there was no replenishment.3) The other disappointment has to do with Hiltons late checkout policy for Hhonors Elite members: it shouldnt be something one has to beg for. Should be more clear whether or not it applies. I needed to take a flight at 7 pm so would have liked to use the room until later, as part of my Diamond benefits - But I was told I needed to ask for a late checkout only in the morning of actual checkout, at which time I was told the hotel was sold out so I could stay just one more hour at most. I understand late checkout is subject to availability, yet a quick check online at hilton.com showed that there were plenty of rooms available to book that day in the property.Could have been a 4 -star review barring these lowlights.

The reason provided was that others that checked in prior received the room and I should have checked in/arrived earlier than 7pm. The manager lacked management skills. Checked in without reservation or duration of stay, eventually ended up staying 2 days. After speaking to the front desk about adding the second day they offered me the choice of getting an upgraded room at a discount, or relocate each night and keep normal rates, the upgrade was a no brainer. No charge for parking, wide selection at the included daily breakfast, including custom omelets. Rooms were spacious, especially for the price, good family layout with a door separating the bedroom from the rest of the room, and 2 entrances to the bathroom was a nice touch. This was a fine Embassy Suites. Being on the road 40 weeks out of each year for work, I see way too many hotels to ignore the small things. We booked this hotel the minute Desert Trips second weekend was announced, and using my Hilton Honors points, I got us an upgraded room. Unfortunately we didnt know when we would arrive so a few days later I had to add on one more night at the start of the stay since our flight was a couple days before the start. We called the hotel and HH to verify the reservation could be combined to the upgraded room I had reserved, both said it was taken care of. The day before we arrived I called again as I understand people can miss requests, the guy I spoke with told me we had just one reservation for the upgraded room and they looked forward to seeing us, perfect! When we arrived after 10 hours of flights and driving from MN, surprise surprise, they had moved both of the reservations to the standard room, not the upgraded one... This is ridiculous, the guy at the front desk said its first come first served and that someone had obviously booked sooner than me. I told him the date I booked, he then confirmed and said sorry that room is gone. This usually isnt that big of a deal for a solo overnight but this was 5 nights and the concert didnt start until after 6 each day so we had some down time to kill in the room. Since this happened I have started staying at Marriott and Sheraton now that they have combined rewards programs. Maybe they will treat loyal business travelers better on their vacations...

Wonderful hotel with a resort persona. The gratis breakfast is excellent with made to order omlets. The evening reception offers gratis alcoholic libations, as long as they are call or well beverages. There is a full service spa offering various massages and services, as well as a true gift shop on premise. Staff is gracious. A great way to pile up Hilton Honors points. The Vista about the hotel is beautiful due to the surrounding mountains. It is in the middle of Golfers Paradise!

We planned to stay at the hotel for the second year in a row as part of our visit to the Coachella equestrian event. Unfortunately the horse show was cancelled due to a fatal horse virus that was putting the horses at risk. We have a non-refundable reservation and I called the hotel to see if they could make an exception (either refund or credit) due to the circumstances. I cannot get a hold of the GM (Mike) after the front desk asked me to call him. He just simply will not return my call. I escalated this lack of response to corporate and received a call from the Director of Operations (Maria) - she is impossible to get a hold of. Never picks up her phone and finally left me a message that they stick to their policies and not friendly. This leadership team of the hotel acts ENTITLED and is NOT customer focused. We will be coming down annually and had planned to stay each time. NO more.

We stayed 3 nights in Dec 2018. Considering the price we paid I would rate this hotel as just satisfactory, with no particular redeeming values that would rate it higher. In the bedroom, the TV cabinet doors would only open 90 degrees so that the TV could not be viewed from either of the 2 beds. One of the nightstand lamps was falling apart. There was only one luggage rack in a room that could sleep 4 people. Two bottles of drinking water were left on the counter with no indication that they were not complimentary. The hotel charged our credit card for these after we had checked out, so it did not show on our final bill. Upon my protest they agreed to take it off. Next time in La Quinta we will stay elsewhere.

Morning greetings from LA Quinta! Were at EMBASSY SUITES BY HILTON HOTEL & SPA! My room is a suite with its own refrigerator, microwave, and bar in a lovely large sofa living room separate from the bedroom with 2 queen beds. The very spacious bathroom can be accessed from both the living room and the bedroom. The areas are emmaculate, warm and inviting while updated in style. The breakfast was amazing, either buffet style or made to order by a chef. In the dining room, in addition to booths and separate tables, was a long table with seats on both sides providing plug ins for Internet or recharging. The facilities also provide a lovely library, a pool, spa and exercise room. I cant think of anything they left out for the comfort and enjoyment of their guests!They also are a great conference center! Our Womens Fall Retreat took place here and this facility was an absolute delight!Very close to Palm Springs and shopping as well.♡♡♡

I would normally give this hotel a 4 or 4.5 review after having stayed here numerous times over the past 4 years, but not this stay. First of all I have always gotten a room with a balcony overlooking the pool, but this time they gave me one overlooking the rear parking lot! When I asked to be moved to another room I was told they did have one available, yet I seen several that were vacant. On the morning of our departure we went downstairs to have the cook-to-order breakfast to find that there were 150 to 200 people having breakfast already (usually there are 25 to 40 people). Every table and chair were taken and there were probably about 15 to 20 people standing in line to order and it was already 9:10 am and breakfast stops at 9:30. Even if you could get to order your omelet or whatever you were ordering you still had no place to sit and eat it.I feel the hotel booked some sort of special gathering for all these people at the expense of their regular customers....it seemed to me that all these people were there for a meeting of some kind, but didnt actually spend the night at the hotel.I will certainly ask if they have any special functions going on before making another booking at this hotel.

My husband booked this property for myself and my sister so we could spend some time together in the desert. We specifically booked a Casita which is not in the main building and is supposed to be larger than the regular one-bedroom suites, and with a small pool and jacuzzi outside. The Casita we got was dirty like it had not been cleaned or inspected. The room configuration was not the same we asked (the one we booked had a bathroom you could access for both sides and it was larger than the one we got). There were wires showing up by each phone and device (see pics) which is really a no-no for a property that charges you 200 dollars in low season on a Monday night. There were holes on the furniture (also see photo). The sofa bed was the worst quality I have ever tried - it was really really bad. Besides these issues, the Wi-Fi was not working when we arrived at about 4:45pm and I had some work to finish so we waited for an hour for someone to help us but when nobody came, we went to the front desk and nobody seemed to know about our issue (it was not logged in by the person at the desk). Finally someone came to the room but he could not fix the issue and they had us repack and move to another room. By when this ordeal was over, it was 8pm and we were supposed to meet with friends at 7pm so we missed the meeting and we were just exhausted and did not even feel like going out for a nice dinner. So all this ruined our trip. When I complained at the front desk the next morning, they did not do anything about it, there was no manager and I was told a manager would call me but nobody called me ever. I have been in the desert many times and stayed at other properties but I would highly recommend you do not stay at this property. Perphas when they renovate I will have a different opinion but Wi-Fi should work even if you are going to renovate and really the service from the front desk to whoever we had to deal with was horrible. Nobody seemed to care about our bad experience. A friend has warned me about this but I did not listen. So beware, she was right! Bad job Hilton of taking care of your Gold Members.

My wife and I stayed here for a night (31 dec, 2018 - 01 jan, 2019). It is a nice place but very overpriced. We booked a king suite (breakfast included) which was large in size but aminity-wise there was nothing special. The furnitures were old. The thing we most enjoyed in the hotel was the game room with several arcade games, a pool table and an air hockey table, but even that one is not properly maintained. The library has some board games which are mostly broken/torn or missing pieces. Breakfast buffet was ok, but there was only pork as meat option, which we do not eat. I think chicken/turkey wouldve served a wider range of guests. Not all king suites have a good view. Luckily we got one with pool and partial mountain view upon request. Staffs were nice and friendly. Printed some documents from the business center, the service was good. There is an evening reception from 5:30pm-7:30pm with light snacks, of which I was not aware when I booked. It was a good bonus. On the other hand, there was no festivity for the new year, which I did not expect. Menu price at the restaurant (ground floor) looked reasonable. I think, the hotel should renovate their rooms and facilities to justify the rate that they are currently asking.

I had made a reservation for myself and my assistant for Saturday Dec 19th. I was hosting a private dinner at my restaurant right down the street from Embassy Suites. This was an annual employee party with masks and social distancing to say thank you and hand out some well needed bonus checks for about 12 -15 guests. I had made the reservations through Travelocity and went to the property that day at 11:30 am to confirm. The woman at the desk was lovely and said everything was fine but she could not check us in until 4:00. I understand that and thanked her. and said i will be back then to get the keys.When I went back in the new person at the desk told me that they would not be able to accommodate the reservation due to covid restrictions. I explained that I had double checked earlier and he simply said there was nothing he could do. I said that I had 12 people coming down from out of town and had I known, I would have made other arrangements. He looked at me and said....you are from Ca, so you know about essential travel? I was surprised to say the least and while I understand this policy I did say I was there earlier to check this. I asked to speak to the manager who happened to be standing a few feet away.I went towards him to speak to him (G.M Mike Valdez)directly and explained how what had happened. I couldnt believe they would not honor the reservation and now my employees and guests had no where to say other then the parking lot. He looked very put out and then went to look at the reservation. He stated that it was made for 2 people, which is correct since I had no idea on how many would stay or head back up to their homes. At this point I could care less about the fees but needed a place for them to stay. I also explained to him that I could have made other plans had I been told this earlier.He ADJUSTED the reservation to reflect 4 people per room($) and when I asked him if I had more people staying what I could do. I was told that i could get a room later is that was the case. What started out as a simple reservation for a few people to change or crash after a holiday gathering turned into a mess. I was charged 650.20 for 2 rooms, but I can say I have NEVER EVER been spoken down to as i was my this General Manager. He is the most condescending person I have ever met in the hospitality business.I I do not complain but watch out if your travelling. I understand covid restrictions BUT in this case it they seemed to go out the window in the case for a few extra bucks

The federal mandate is taken too lightly and NOBODY wore a mask in this establishment, including the GM and the Front Desk representative. What a shameful act when they post signs, and send welcome emails stating the federal mandate, yet, the employees are not abiding by the mandate.At least tell people, like myself, prior to me making reservations that you dont give a dam and will not uphold the masks.Moreover, the morning front desk lady is extremely rude.

Very Nice Hotel. Goid sz rooms & baths. Large pool area, with nice lounge chairs & lots of sun. The included breakfast & happy hour were both great too.

This hotel was very nice, they have a awesome complementary breakfast and happy hour. I just wish they had a adult pool for people that just want to relax and dont have kids.

Rooms are nice but they create a huge log jam in the morning at the buffet breakfast. Guess it just started. Manager cards everyone then there is one line for buffet and omelets. Can you make it any more inconvenient?

I am an Embassy Suites fun and this hotel is maybe one of the best Embassy Suites that I have been at, very clean, recently remodeled. The pool was a lot of fun and the casinos are near by.

Stayed here on our honeymoon. Great place to stay. Super clean rooms and a great place to sleep. My only regret is not taking one of their pillows!

La Quinta is the swanky sister to Palm Desert ES boutique style. Good service and great breakfast. Overall great value. The only thing missing from this location is bartender Kenny from Palm Desert ES mixing your cocktails with panache!
