Here is my full unfortunate experience with Maids of San Diego.I called and talked with Sheryl to get a job done and was scheduled for 10/02/2023.I was very clear with the requirements, it is 3 bathrooms, 2 barely used bathrooms, and one regularly used master bathroom, a kitchen and a living room.the main reason I called for a professional cleaner service was the master bathroom’s shower glass door, it had soap residue and I am not familiar with cleaning that.Sheryl stated it 3 hours will probably be enough, but we might add an additional hour if necessary, and I was like we can talk about that.Ruth came and ended up spending more than an hour and a half on the master bathroom, so I called Sheryl and we ended up extending it to 4 hours. I saw she was stuck, and the work was not very efficient.I asked her to move-on to the other rooms so that we can get the most done within 4 hours. I was helping with furniture moving and fridge shelves replacement.She spent over 4 hours and the results were okay, but my main concern, which is the bathroom shower was not cleaned at all. I checked and she was using a grill cleaning produce which was a surprise to me as it did not make sense to use a grill/grease cleaning product on a shower glass door with soap residue but thought maybe they came to use this from experience.Anyway, I read online and they say they offer a “100% happiness guarantee” post-appointment.service I call Sheryl and after some back and fourth, I asked for a manager, and then I talked to Hana, the owner.Hana was surprisingly talking aggressively and with an attitude; she was telling me that the cleaner did her best that I made the cleaner feel uncomfortable, and I should just be grateful that she spent extra time cleaning. I kept telling her the main reason I needed a professional cleaning service, and the cleaner used an incorrect product. She said she can do nothing and I should just replace the door!She eventually asked me for some photos, which I sent them before and after photos and then she/they completely ignored my subsequent messages.I was very surprised how an owner of a professional company handled a customer concern!Anyway, disappointed and frustrated, I ended up doing some simple research myself, I bought a $4 glass door cleaner from Walmart and a sponge that ended up doing the job within less 30 minutes.I did not think the whole thing was fair, the service was not provided so I disputed half of the amount $100 with the credit card company (Ruth still cleaned other parts of the house), and the merchant refused to give credit back. Now I have to waste even more time having to communicate with the credit card company about what has happened as Hana is denying what happened.I DO think that dealing with eMaids of San Diego, and especially Hana was and still a waste of my time, but I am writing this message to the credit card company and will post this as a review on different platforms so other people will benefit from my experience. I do not expect nor want to be contacted by them. This was a total waste of time and a false claim of them being professional cleaners.

I called eMaids for help during a recent move and they were able to accommodate same day service. They were punctual, thorough and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend them and will use their service again in the future. =)

This is one of the only times I’ve had a professional cleaning company come out and clean my house. Guadalupe (sp?) was PHENOMENAL!! She was quick, meticulous, and so sweet! I am usually a pretty financially savvy person, and won’t pay for things I am capable of doing myself. But I will definitely have her come back out on a consistent basis!! My house feels so good after she came by!! THANK YOU FOR SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

WORST CLEANING COMPANY EVER !!!HORRIBLE OWNER !!!EDIT: In response to the owner (or the assistant who handles customer service for her), your little generic response for bad reviews shows exactly the point I was conveying in my initial review about the poor ownership.Im sure your record-keeping is just as half-azz as the work your company does. When an owner is okay with unhappy customers, what makes you think the employees will be any different. I already called and spoke with someone regarding the poor cleaning I received and I was promised follow up service... UNTIL THE OWNER CALLED BACK AND SAID THEY WOULDNT COME BACK OUT TO FINISH THE CLEANING BECAUSE SHE WAS THE ONE WHO CLEANED MY PLACE HERSELF AND SHES SURE THEY DID A GOOD JOB... HMMM, GO FIGURE !!!Original review:The owner of this company does NOT care about customer satisfaction. They charge more than most of the other cleaning companies and because they have good reviews, I figured Id give them a shot. Ohh, was that the wrong decision.BEWARE, they will sound excellent over the phone, but the outcome will not be consistent. Its like watching a movie where the audio and visual dont match. Trust me, look elsewhere.
