This is going to be my go to for all my computer fixes or issues. Bill was awesome and knowledgeable. He new exactly what was wrong with my computer and gave me options on fixing it. I wound up walking out with a better computer at a very reasonable price. I recommend anyone with computer problems to take it to Computer Sevices. The place looks small but you will be very happy with the result.

Computer Bill was awesome! He took me in the same day and did everything in his power to find the part that I broke. Part was very hard to find but he had it handled. My touch screen laptop was pretty much unusable because of a damaged LED screen. I talked to Bill and he asked me to come in so he could take a look at it. It took him 5 minutes to figure out what was wrong with it and how much it would cost to fix it. He ordered the part I needed and within a day of him getting it my laptop was fixed and as good as new! I had high expectations and Bill exceeded them all for less than half the price I would have paid for his services. I’d recommend Elk Grove Computer Services to anyone and I’ll definitely be back if I have any more computer troubles.

Before I trashed an older laptop, I decided to try my last option and called Elk Grove Computer Services. Bill said to bring it in and he would take a look at it for no charge. After he looked at it, he quoted me the most reasonable price for a new hard drive with windows 10 loaded. He said it would take about a week so I left it. 24 hours later he called and said it was ready! To my delight I now have what I consider a brand new laptop. I’m the winner!!! Thank you Bill!

This gentleman provides great service. A couple things to point out. Call before you go to make an appointment. This gentleman works alone and isnt always in the office. Dont be influenced by the building I pulled up to this nice building and immediately thought he was too expensive. He rents space within an office, and the staff that run that office are extremely nice and helpful. I brought my laptop in because it wouldnt turn on. He fixed it quickly-more quickly than I expected for a very reasonable price. Two days later, it wouldnt start again. I contacted him and he told me to bring it in right away. He had it fixed again within a few hours and explained to me precisely what had gone wrong. He did not charge for the second repair, and its running great.

I have used Bill’s Elk Grove Computer Service over the past couple of years for 3 Dell desktops. Recent work done: refresh each computer with Windows 10, add more memory and replace the hard drives with solid state drives. Every time, Bill has done fabulous work. He is honest, prompt and reasonably priced. I recommend him to my friends and will continue to use his services. We are lucky to have him.

I had taken a laptop to Elk Grove Computer services when they were at the old location and had a good experience. When they moved to Laguna Springs and then had new owners, I wasnt sure what to expect. Im glad I did as Bill is very knowledgeable, reasonable and very helpful. I had a major issue (Thank you Windows 10) and he explained that he could do the work but I might be better served by replacing my old HP. He was able to salvage my files and install them on the new unit and saved my bacon. I would refer anyone to Bill for an honest opinion and quality work.

Not only did I receive great service he was also able to expedite the work and I got my computer back three days early. 4/16/19–Excellent service! 2nd time using this company. (Google not allowing me to write a second separate review, so adding on here.). My desktop computer would not turn on. My boyfriend took it to Bill in the morning last Friday. He also needed a laptop and Bill set him up with very reasonably priced laptop that operates wonderfully. I brought my computer to this place for the first time and Bill helped me settle down quickly and starting to ask questions of the problems. After that he started right away by testing my rams which I made a mistake due to the lack of knowledge for computer hardware and fixed my corrupt hardware within 2 hour or less. Im glad I decided to come to this place instead another place because Bill gave me future reference of upgrading my computer and was friendly to talk too. Looking for a good computer guy? Look no further. Bill is great. Our computer was completely inoperable (blue screen only). Called Bill and he said to bring it in. When we got there he checked it over while we were there, told us the cost, and said to call tomorrow. The computer was fixed the next day and it is running perfectly. Nabib is awesome. I had taken my iMac into the Apple Store a few weeks and they told me that the hard drive was dead. They gave me a few recommendations, but the feeling was that I would need a new computer and that it wasnt very likely that I would get any of my files back. I decided to hold off, and luckily I found Nabibs office, and decided to give him a try. He is very professional and he is super nice! One my laptop hinges had been broken forever and last week the other one bit the big one. After a couple of days with duct tape and a wire coat hanger holding my computer open I called Bill based on reviews of his work and his company that I saw on many websites. He was very polite and professional on the phone and his hours are amazing - 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with no apppintment necessary!!! I brought my computer to his conveniently located office in Elk Grove, CA (with elevator) and he explained what would be required to fix it, approximately how much it would cost, and that it would take 7 to 9 days to get the parts and install them. He called me later that same evening with a more refined quote after he located the proper parts which I approved. I just pick up my good as new computer from Bill after only 5 days. He is also recycling and old printer for me for free. I highly recommend Bill and his service, you will not be disappointed.

I used to take my computer to the previous owner, Dennis, and I was skeptical when I found there was a new owner. I am always leary of leaving my laptop(s) with all of my life on it with a stranger but that was totally NOT the case here. Bill, the new owner, was wonderful! Very personable and knowledgable. The screen on my MacBook went bad, apparently a common issue (I learned). Apple wanted $600 and for me to send the computer to them for multiple weeks. Because of COVID, I am teaching virtually and could not afford to not have my computer for that length of time. Luckily, I found this place. It is a family owned place and the owner is experienced and knowledgeable in computers. He was cheaper than Apple, and after the screen arrived, he repaired it in several hours - on a Saturday! I have had the EXTREME pleasure dealing with Elk Grove Computer services.Regretfully, my computer crashed, and I had my years of history on the pc and I needed that back even though I had an external hard drive.I explained what had transpired, and was given a date of completion for these repairs. I left a review on my other account and I feel I need to write a new one considering the situation has gotten worse since last year, when I went to go fix my laptop. He called back today at 10:49am and started yelling at us for putting a one star review. He was mad at us when it was perfectly fine to write the review considering he just slapped some masking tape on the broken hinge as if it was fixed. He also did software work on the laptop without my consent which is illegal under California Penal Code Section 502(c) PC. If he continues to call and make threats against us, legal action will be taken.

The repair man repaired the computer really well without any issues at a cheap price. However, his policies are baffling when I heard them. It took around 2 weeks to repair the computer even when I thought that it would take one week because he bought the wrong item. He was thinking about charging me extra for his mistake. He believes that he would get the benefits if he made a mistake that you didnt made. Just be very cautious when coming into his repair shop.

I turned in my ASUS laptop to Bill two days ago. I was in tire need of a tune-up. My laptop was slowing down and I tried nearly all means in order to fix my wifi adapting issues. Restarting, reinstalling, deleting adapters off the computer just to fix the wifi. After all that my laptop would just disconnect from the internet after 5 mins each and every time. It was frustrating. After I gave my laptop to Bill, within a day he fixed all problems. Sped up my computer and cleaned out my laptop with any viruses. Very professional, and exceptional service, all for a great price. Lastly, he even cleaned my laptop on the outside. I had marks and dirt around my laptop and I noticed that he cleaned it all. My 21 inch iMac bit the dust after a power surge in Elk Grove. It would not turn on was completely dead, I called Apple support and they said they didn’t work on that old iMac it was purchased in 2011. They recommended I contact a local repairman. I called Elk Grove Computer and bill told me to bring it in and he would take a look at it. He said it was probably the power source and he could fix it for $225. Cheaper than buying a new iMac. I took it in Monday afternoon and picked it up Wednesday morning. It has been working flawlessly ever since . He also recommended I should increase the RAM if I wanted it to be more responsive and he could do that for $80. I will probably do that in a few weeks. If I can get a few more years out of this old Mac I’ll be happy.

I have a laptop that I had previously taken to another PC repair shop for a tune-up as it was running really slow. They charged me $80 and when I got it back it was no better than before, and they couldnt/wouldnt take the time to even tell me what theyd done to it. I brought it in to EGCS for a tune-up and explained what problems I was having. Nabil listened patiently and offered a few explanations as to what the problem might be. When I picked up my laptop the next week, he explained and showed me what he had done and told me the next best course of action for the health of my laptop.
