I did not expect to grow as much as I did - both professionally and personally - when I started working with Elaine. I can honestly say that I am not the same person who searched for WOC Career Coach about 8 months ago. I originally sought Elaines services to help with a career change. I was feeling stuck, stagnant, overworked and underpaid while working at an extremely toxic company. I started working with Elaine at the beginning of 2022 when I was feeling overwhelmed at work and suffering from burnout. Elaine is a gem. She went above and beyond in guiding me towards my goals. The first steps for my particular journey involved analyzing my current client list and identifying patterns in my ideal clients for the purposes of focusing on my marketing efforts into finding those dream clients. After that, she helped me break down my goals into manageable tasks and come up with a plan for the rest of the year in order to reach those goals. I find that a lot of business coaches seem to focus on the same goal for each client and speak too broadly and generally. They focus on numbers, growth for the sake of growth, and oftentimes promote a culture of toxic positivity. Elaine is not anything like the stereotypical coaches we see on the ads that bombard our feeds. Shes personable, an active listener, and great at identifying your needs and what will work for you. Elaine is a very loving, supportive and attentive coach who will give you the tough advice you need and also remind you to value yourself and your time. She gave me amazing business advice that helped me make the income I wanted but was also CONSISTENT. Elaine did two amazing workshops for NAAAP (National Association of Asian American Professionals) on assertiveness, and money. In the Asian culture, it is hard to to speak up especially when it comes to asking for raises. Elaine provided specific word-to-word scripts and strategies to do things like ask for raises, and manage difficult work conversations. In fact, one member was able to stand her ground and ask for a $10k raise.

Elaine set up a casual meet-and-greet call, and to manage her expectations, I explained to her that I am already working with a coach. Our short call was so helpful and she shared a resource that was so valuable to me, I was ready to hire her by the end of the call! She is FULL of the business wisdom stuck entrepreneurs need to level up.

Elaine is a rockstar – always giving her all! I’m so glad I was able to attend her latest “Color Your Dreams LA Live” event. I’ve been to a couple of her events in the past but this one was a much more elevated event with women from a variety of different backgrounds at a certain level of their business. One thing I really enjoyed about this event was just the opportunity to be surrounded by like-minded women. It was on a Saturday and we didn’t have to be there, we chose to be there. We were all there because, yes we want to grow our businesses, but we also want to connect with other people in that kind of space. It’s very special to get together like this as it creates a certain kind of energy in the room. I feed off of this type of environment – where we can all just contribute to each other’s personal and professional success! ALSO, the tacos were A+ :)

I LOVE Elaine, i immediately joined her mastermind after being recommended by Womxn of Colour Summit.She gives to the part of me that needs structure, focus and direction a container.. I am someone who loves magick and miracles.. super woo woo.. and i came to Elaine for this clarity around the backend of my business which i truly understand is absolutely foundational for our success.. even budget sheets (She calls abundance sheets) and simple business strategy blueprints. At the same time... she gives me room to play and be my own person. Implement what resonates and leave what doesnt.What i love most about her is that she is sooo resourceful.. and insightful. she isnt afraid to share what she knows and to recommend others when she knows someone that she knows can help us in our growth.
