I stumbled in here by accident not realizing it was THE EL SEGUNDO BREWING COMPANY. I have always wanted to visit here and drink some of Stone Cold Steve Austins beer and it did not disappoint. Furthermore, the food truck they had in April for steak and cheese sandwiches was delicious! A must if you are visiting LA.

First visit to El Segundo Brewing Company. They have a great selection of beers and a good food menu. Cool atmosphere and definitely a locals spot. The beer was great and reasonably priced. Grabbed some stickers and they also have some other merch if interested. Service was great.Might have to wait a little on busy days or nights....but its worth it!

It’s a good brewery inspired by WWF wrestler Steve Austin and his signature move - skull crush. Had skull crush lager, which was nice, though it lacked crispness of brewery lager but better than usual bars commercial lagers. Brewery is designed nice with all awards they’ve won and plenty of Steve Austin’s photos.

El segundo brewing has an all around relaxing chill vibe to it. The interior colors with the hanging lights gives the place a nice open backyard feel to it. The service is good and the bartender had a good suggestion when I asked if they had anything similar to a Belgium or tripel style beer. He recommended the Break of Dawn Saison. Which I found to be a good suggestion. It was smooth and didnt overpower my pallet. Although I shouldve asked for water to get the previous beers taste off of my tongue(my bad). Ill be going back since I regrettably forgot to take pictures while I was there.

First time visitor to the area. No-frills brewery tap room in a cool industrial basement-like space, with patio seating out the back. No food to speak of, but a large selection of fine craft beer. Its clear that the beer is the #1 priority here. The bartenders were awesome, and the barflies were very friendly and cool. Next time Im in the South Bay area, Ill be back!

The beer is GOOD. I feel like that is the main way to be good at being a brewery. The selection is wide, gives you options no matter your preference. The space is cool, indoor/outdoor. It is dog friendly. There are some fun games, TVs, good banter with the bartenders. Plus, the display of all the brew tanks is pretty impressive walking in. Just overall fun, yummy, place to go and hangout.

Stopped in to grab a couple cases of their Broken Skull IPA and Lager. It has an awesome atmosphere and super friendly staff. Their Broken Skull Lager and IPA are some of the best beers in the country (my opinion....). Highly recommend this place when in the El Sugundo area.

Swung by El Segundo Brewery when I had a couple of hours to kill. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service from very knowledgeable staff. Im an IPA head, so naturally I just had to attempt all of theyre great IPAs, which were all great! Come and see what other amazing beers and Barrel Aged beers they have.

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife is a cicerone and we brew our own beer, and this might be my favorite brewery ever. I had a chance to talk with the master brewer, and he is an awesome guy with a wealth of information and a passion for his craft. This is my favourite brewery, and I made a special point to stop by when visiting from Australia. Their beers are so well balanced, and the are IPAs crisp, floral, clear, and bitter. Best in class I wish this was my local!

This review is based on myself and my family’s experience with the patrons (not the staff) however we felt that it should be shared just offer a different perspective on the experience that one can have at this establishment. When walking into the space, immediately we were subject to stares and glares (myself and my siblings are African American and my sister’s husband is Latino). While standing in line to wait to get service at the counter, we could hear other patrons making comments with one (an older white gentleman who was sitting at a table with an associate) saying “Look at what just walked in here”. Unfortunately, we all felt uncomfortable and immediately left the establishment. We understand that these comments, stares and facial exchanges were again, from the patrons and not from the staff (this due largely in part that we were some uncomfortable, that we left before really interacting with any staff members), but we wanted to share it in hopes that the business can work harder to establish a culture of inclusivity. I’m sure they have made attempts, however, tonight’s experience shows that their are some areas of reflection.

This is the foundational craft brewery in El Segundo. Located right on Main Street and near several restaurants, it’s the brewer of the locally well known Mayberry IPA. So called because the small town feel of El Segundo made many people refer to it as “Mayberry”. All the beer is tasty and fresh. Highly recommended. Often a food truck out back where the outdoor section is.

If you like craft beer and the feeling that youre in a locals type place, you may want to visit the El Segundo Brewing Company tap room. Its not a fancy place but has that cool vibe that youve found something that the tourists dont know about. As its a working brewery its just a small area with a bar and a few small tables basically in what was probably a loading dock at some point. They have a great variety of beers and the people are very friendly.They usually have between 15-20 beers on tap and are open 7 days a week. Weve only been in the evenings but there always seems to be a healthy amount of people without being too crowded. If a casual off the beaten track experience is what youre looking for...this could be your place.

Great, open tap room with a decent-sized patio attached.The draft list usually has a nice variety: usually around 20 beers on tap and about half are IPAs or pale ales, but there is better variety amongst *those* than what Ive seen at other local breweries. They always have a good selection of maltier options if hops arent your jam. Everything from a Mexican lager that is a solid patio pounder to barrel-aged options.They often have food trucks and are pretty good about posting which will be there on their Instagram.This is good spot for the casual craft beer drinker on up. The area can get kind of crowded on weekends/holidays/etc., so if you prefer a quieter experience, Id recommend going on a weekday or right when they open.

The tasting room is tucked into a small space down a small flight of stairs in downtown El Segundo. The entire brewery is tucked into a slightly larger space immediately behind it. Its beyond cramped, but worth a visit. They have almost every beer they make on tap, with some things available only here. More than just the IPAs that are their bread and butter, the beers range from the exotic to the, Wait, 11%? Really? Some great choices. Theres also free snacks, so come on, whats not to love?Staff are fantastic, and parking is readily available. Take the tour. Its short, but worth it.

Nice little spot to try the craft beers made by ESBC. Even Friday night it is full but not crazy packed. It makes for a perfect occasional meet up with friends and have a few drinks ranging from lighter 4% ale to some molasses thick brain burner. The variety of beers are quite distinct and I have found almost all to be real good. I go with a middle of the road IPA Citra.. something can’t recall exact but give the place a try I doubt you will be disappointed.

Too many ipa choices, not much else going on as far as other styles of beer like the other local breweries Ive been to. The tasting room is tiny and easily gets so crowded that youre in somebodys way no matter where you are and believe me the locals can become very territorial. As friendly as some of the folks behind the counter are, one of them isnt honest with customers (found out I was being substantially overcharged by the guy who works Thursday nights after a neighbor told me how much he was being charged to fill his growlers) and another is blatantly rude when dealing with non-familiar customers (the taller overweight biker looking guy with longer hair, looks like he can drink an entire keg to himself): not good for guests especially when someone has questions about the beers on tap or for those interested in sampling their draft selections. I wont elaborate any further because these are my experiences here which probably isnt the same to be said for others especially regulars, locals, and pretty girls. Overall Im disappointed enough to write this review because Ive recommended this brewery to countless people travelling through LA interested in local beers only to find out this is what they may have experienced. Instead of enjoying beer from this brewery its hard for me to forget the negative experiences Ive had here so no longer will I be buying beer here and no longer will I be coming back to their tasting room (anyone want my ESBC growlers? Ill give them to you for free). For a better beer experience, save your money and go across the street to Rock n Brews; those guys love their guests, are much more friendly, and know about good beer.

Some friends and I decided to check this place out after missing it during our last Torrance brewery crawl outing. Luckily we found parking right outside, but since it was the weekend the main drag was pretty full. We walked down the flight of stairs to its surprisingly small basement location. They had as many tables and chairs as they could fit into this place, but its pretty darn small and a bit cramped. Plus, the ventilations not all that great; it was a warm day and they had a fan going by the door but you could really feel the temperature difference when you went upstairs and out of the place. The four of us managed to find a spot to hang and we tried a few different beers. All in all, we probably spent maybe about an hour and half there--the people behind the counter were super-friendly and the beers were good, but with so many other great breweries not too far away not sure if Id really seek it out again.

Great little brewery on a corner in El Segundo. Very laid back and casual inside. I prefer this place to the the other venues in the area. They are IPA heavy which is perfect for my tastes with 20 or so taps. The bartenders are fast, friendly and knowledgeable. This will become a local haunt for me. There beers were some of the better West Coast IPAs that I’ve had recently.

Great beer. Hoppy and local to me. Small tasting room, huge vibe. Love this place. I used to prefer pilsners but they have shown me the light of hoppy with their ipas, double ipas and triple ipas. When they release a new beer they open up the back so you can see the whole operation. Also they bring in a food vender. Growler fills are a tad expensive, but you get what you pay for- amazing beer. I frequent this rad production brewery.
