Stephanie who takes our order in drive-thru is THE BEST!! Shes always friendly and takes the time to see if we ever need anything else. We always look forward to seeing her and friendly smile. This piece of paper was in my husbands tostada we picked up today. I called them to let them know and really didnt care. They said it was from the avocados. No offer to replace our order. Never will I go back there again.

Havent been to this location for over 3 months for a reason. You definitely dont come to El Pollo Loco for the customer service. Main reason I stop coming to this location is the terrible service. Today will be my last most definitely. I already deleted my El Pollo Loco app. Between the potholes at the front entrance, and the terrible drive thru speaker box. The only words the employee interacted with me was the price and if I wanted salsa. If you want dirty looks and terrible attitude with your food, come to this specific location. Between Angry Chicks, Zankou Chicken, Chick Fil A, Wing Stop, why even bother coming here. Im sure management will respond with a generic response about sorry for your terrible experience. At the end of the day, your business always reflects how you treat your customers! Hope corporate actual cares and does something with this location!

This restaurant is such a joke that I got my first salad delivered with no dressing okay no problem so door dash reordered. So I’m already super hungry. Next one comes and oh no dressing. So I call and ask if they’re out of dressing and nope. The best they could do was….. next time you come in we will give you extra dressing. This el pollo is a joke.

Well I have been eating at El Polo Loco since I lived in Hollywood California. My favorite location is on Vine Street. I was invited to dinner on April 1st 2024 by a new friend that I had met . Ive dined pretty much at many of the eateries in the Moorpark road vacinity . This location is situated on the strip by the Janns Mall. Surrounded by a Tobacco shop, a Car wash ✨,,etc. . Parking is on the side entrance and the back lot. When we arrived it was near 8:30pm .. My friend she ordered Chicken plate, veggies and tortilla . The sauces are put into little plastic containers. The location in Hollywood California has a sauce bar . Talk about economizing,,🔹. I order a meal that consisted off a burrito and chips. The only problem was.. I didnt order that .!! Our meals came with a drink from the fountain,,but the attendant screwed it up. Due to wearing a cordlessDriver thru microphone?? She was distracted and didnt give me what I desired... My friend who paid ..had to go up to the counter and ask for a replacement of what I asked for . Seeing that it was getting late,,I was given a free paper dish of macaroni. I didnt need a replacement meal. They were really busy in the kitchen,, handling so many drive thru orders.This location is pretty nice size,,the employees mostly speak Spanish ?? No English with kitchen staff.. except for the cashiers. Maybe some of these people werent born in the USA ?? The chicken was dry,, that my friend eat on . I think its important to not serve dried out chicken to customers. I havent eaten chicken since 2010. Its suppose to be juicy ..and not burned out .. Would I come back here?? No. The employees are under 25 years of age and if this is a franchise ?? The owner should do better.. The cashier was nice enough to give me a free macaroni..but the employees still need to work on their skills as kitchen staff. Fast food shouldnt taste like its been sitting around since 10am,,under a heat lamp.

Love going here and getting the chicken and the rice and the coleslaw and the Pico de gallo and making my own tacos. The only issue is that at times the chicken can be a little on the dry side. Kudos to the company for not charging for every tiny container of pico de gallo I asked for.

Only El pollo loco thousand oaks could screw up something so easy with a lack of quality control. Ordered two bowls and two salads, normally a slam dunk. Except this evening the rice was either 1/2 cooked or left over from the lunch rush. It was not soft as rice should be. I dont know why I continue to use this store for ordering either. This isnt the first, second or even third time theres been an issue with either the store or the foods being served. Communications between customer and staff could benefit with English speaking employees as well. Its a shame as the food has so much to like, its clean and not as unhealthy as other alternatives available. They really need some food preparation education. Management needs a swift refresh also.

The order taker/cashier rang up the wrong food charging us more for our meal. They refused to do a refund on the card, citing that their computer will not allow it (wrong, that would be illegal). So they kindly gave us the couple bucks back in cash (against their merchant agreement with their credit card processor; its like a cash advance without the 30% interest, of course thats not allowed).In the end the food we expected was on our tray, and there were no issues there.I had the skinless breast black bean bowl combo. Id get it again.
