Donelle has been my hearing aids provider for more than 20 years.She is knowledgable, patientand helpful . On Christmas Day she volunteeredto hike with me down to 4 -Mile Beach to lookfor my hearing aid which I had lost there in themorning. This is just one of numerous exampleswhen she has come to the rescue in an emergency. I consider myself fortunate to beher client.
Donelle Ehritt has been my audiologist since 1999, acquiring the highest tech hearing aids from her about every 4 years, because she was then, and still is, considered one of the best, if not the best, audiologist in the Santa Cruz area, well known to established ENT physicians. She has enabled me to discern difficult speech sounds, and to enjoy music sound, despite increasingly progressive serious hearing loss over the years. Highest recommendation.
Our Son had at least 2 sets of ear tubes put in and when it came to testing him as a 4 year old and later as a 6 year old for his hearing, Donelle was warm, endearing and playful with our son to put him completely at ease. Donelle has a special place in her heart for our senior citizens and pre COVID has conducted hearing tests for senior citizens for free and or minimal costs at retirement communities. Her knowledge and expertise of over 40 years serves as par excellence for her patients. We love her.

I have been 95% deaf for 20 years and been treated by 3 separate specialists. But none can be compared to Donelle in Scotts Valley. She is simply fantastic. She is knowledgeable, always available, kind and humorous. I cannot praise her highly enough. Even if you live in Santa Cruz, the short drive to Scotts Valley is absolutely worth it. You simply cannot get better treatment for hearing problems in this part of the County.
Donelle has been there for me for over 20 years. Even when I moved out of the area, I couldnt find the kind of caring service I get here. So I drive the extra miles for the peace of mind. Ill be loyal as long as shes here. I just received my latest pair of hearing aids and they are the best ever. All the controls are tied to an app on my phone which allows me to see the settings. Plus, they are as loud as I need them to be. And Donelle tuned them to perfect clarity. Im very pleased. No more saying Huh? for me!

The Lady on the phone was very unfriendly and even though I described my problem,she wasnt willing to help. She didnt even suggest another specialist, even tough I told her I was specifically looking for someone who can help fix my ear.Would give zero stars if I could.Additional review;Not only was the lady on the phone incredibly rude, now she is trying to discredit my review by making up something about me not wanting to follow the protocol and having a fewer. This never happened!All I asked for was a recommendation for my earwax problem, but she hung up the telephone on me, saying that was none of her business.Whatever your deal is lady; you have a serious attitude problem and its really lame to blame it on Covid
This woman is very cold and rude. I left some hearing aid for her to fix, told me she fixed them but she didnt. Bad attitude and bad energy. If I could give her less than one star, I would.
The most thorough hearing exam I have ever received along with excellent follow up care.

I began to lose my hearing in my mid-40s, and have been declining in my hearing for over 35 years since then. Donelle made it possible for me to continue in my line of work, and later to hear the high-pitched voices of my young grandchildren. Her patience, expertise, and ability to keep finding the latest and best hearing aid to suit my needs, whatever its brand, is exceptional. She quickly finds time to see me on short notice if problems develop with one or the other hearing aid. She is generous in giving me ample time to try out newly developed hearing aids before I purchase them. I am grateful that she continues to put her decades of experience to work in helping me in hearing my wife, friends, and grandchildren.

2021-09-08 16:21:39I just recently purchased hearing aids for my 94 year old mother from Ehritt Hearing Services. Donelle was absolutely wonderful to work with and was very patient with my mom. She was such a professional and all of her years in service in this field made everything so easy from start to finish. The training we received to use them was so helpful and my mom has had no problems using them. She had discovered a whole new world of hearing!! I would highly recommend Eheritt Hearing Services to anyone that is looking to get hearing aids.

2021-02-12 01:54:42Donelle Ehritt has been a service to our family for 23 years, diagnosing my little girl, fitting her and taking real care over the years to help in anyway. She is the provider to my husband as well and we always recommend Donelle. My youngest daughter, now grown and living 75 miles away, only trusts her to take care of her aids and do her testing. In fact, our eldest granddaughter is now seeing her and she lives in Oakland! We only trust Donelle because she listens patiently to questions and concerns, and she does not push aids like other providers often do. I only wish she could be in business another 45 years. because she knows her stuff!

Donelle quickly diagnosed my hearing problems and fitted me with hearing aids that I recently updated. She is helpful in integrating accessory hearing devices to my hearing aid; solves most problems on the spot and has good chocolate candy to sample on her desk.

When she fits you with a hearing aid, she takes care of you and the hearing aid for the life of the device, no matter how many appointments it takes to get you to the place where you are comfortably hearing again. All of her appointments after purchase are without charge and encourage you to see her for any issue that is troubling. She is technically accomplished at the critical skill of using the computer interface that sets the digital hearing aid to the correct parameters to match your hearing loss. She responds to calls and emails almost immediately, makes appointments promptly, and is accommodating with appointments times, once offering to meet me at her office on a Sunday evening for an emergency repair. I am fortunate to have had her guidance, delivered with thoughtfulness, consideration and expertise through these decades of living with hearing loss. Donelle enjoys her work, is completely dedicated to it, and excels at it.
