I’ve been coming here for the past couple years and couldn’t be happier with the service and repairs I’ve received. It’s difficult to find a honest and competitively priced repair shop and Eddies auto care in my opinion is the best shop in the area by far. If your looking at reviews for your next Automotive repair shop like I did then know that there’s a reason why Eddies is so highly rated.

I have taken two cars there before for smaller repairs. Prices then were reasonable but now they try to retire on one repair. Called a few shops to get quotes and they were all well under 40% to 50% less expensive than what I was quoted through them. I would highly recommend getting a few quotes as you may save hundreds or like in my case thousands…***I appreciate the response. I’m not questioning your certifications, all I’m doing is warning others to get a second quote. I know you didn’t compare your prices with other certified shops as most offer free check-up and Diagnosis. All the quotes I got were from approved AAA repair facilities and they all quoted with new OEM transmission from Nissan, which prompted me to want to write a review. I hardly write reviews but the estimate I got for the transmission replacement was crazy. I would highly suggest/ recommend you to comparing your quotes / prices with other shops as you will loose more customers…

Genuinely appreciate this place for their honesty and quality of work. Its always nice to get an inspection done with full transparency and have the mechanic working on your vehicle communicate with you throughout the process and thats exactly what I received. Alfredo was nothing but honest and thorough with my car and Ill be back for future work. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants good work done promptly and honestly.

Kicked myself in the butt for not going back to them in the first place! Another shop did some shady work on my car, Eddies fixed what they supposedly done already.HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH EDDIES.I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing care car. They are what I call the lucky charm. Their work is real good their work and warranty is impressive, 24 months or 24000 miles. I went back for a warranty they were gonna honor it, 2yrs in Sept 2024. A slave cylinder replaced but this time was the clutch bearing.They did a again impressive work, their warranty best I ever had. Price fair plus is on one the 10th best places in SB County. So they replaced the clutch, bearing, alignment on all wheels, I wish they would of flush all brake fluid since is connected to clutch, they bleed it good. When the guy call me and gave me the info of what was diagnosed, he said I know is alot when you gonna pick up ? So I mentioned to give me a discount since it was 2nd new job and he said yea, hell try.I was embarrassed to ask him after and the receptionist lady charge me regular. It was still a fair price and 1690 was good, warranty is very good. I wanna take it back for the brake fluid flush since they didnt do it and a oil change soon.Eddies auto care is my new place and I find out they do those payment thing too. Anyone with clutch problems stop wasting time n money go to Eddie in San bernandino on baseline and sepulveda I think. These guys are awesome, the most professional and courteous group Ive ever encountered at a shop. Brought it in for a busted valve which is a big job, they got right to work and had it back in a week. They kept me fully informed with phone calls and emails. I highly recommend Eddies Auto Care. A year later I had them smog it. Passed without a problem, I was in and out in 15 minutes. I highly recommend Eddies Auto Care.

My vacuum pump went out and my regular mechanic recently retired. I went to a shop around the corner from my house but they couldnt help me till next week after diagnosing my problem as the vacuum pump. I had it replaced about a year ago while on a trip to New Mexico and the shop that did the work gave me a 3 yr warranty which I thought was awesome. I called the warranty company and asked if they could refer me to a shop that would honor the warranty and they told me about Eddies Auto Care. I called Eddies and they were able to accommodate me. They also fixed my drivers window that had stopped working by replacing the regulator and motor. The repairs were both backed by the same warranty. This is my new mechanic and will be referring friends for sure.Thanks to all the hard working team at Eddies Car Care, keep up the outstanding job !

If I could leave 0 stars and get my wasted time and money back from them I would.Took my 2013 kia optima in to get the suspension looked at because there was a grinding noise from the front tires. They told me that they replaced shocks, struts, brakes, and got an oil change done at the same time. They charged me over $2000 for all of this work, and it was done within a day. After I got my car back, I noticed the grinding noise was still there. I took it back, and had them look at it again. They replaced the sway bar and charged me another $180.A month after I had these services done, a bolt that was holding the control arm on the rear passenger axle snapped while I was going 70 down the highway. If there was anyone besides me on the road, I would have crashed. The mobile mechanic (not working for Eddies) that looked at it said that ALL the other bolts were replaced but that one, and he had to weld it together to fix it.I had my brakes looked at after a couple months of having Eddies replace them. I noticed a grinding and squealing that was getting worse, but I shouldnt have brake problems so soon after having brakes replaced, right? I took my car to a shop in Fontana instead of to Eddies. The mechanic in Fontana (not working for Eddies) said the rear shocks were NOT replaced but the front ones were. He showed me evidence of both and there was a clear difference that was not due to a few months of driving. When Eddies replaced my brakes they were placed over rotars that were in poor condition, causing the rotars and brakes to both need replacements.So in summary, they charged me for services they never performed, and put my car and my life in danger by lying about it. I paid them over $2200, and had to spend over $1000 to more reputable mechanics to fix it.

Do you self a favor and get second opinions. This place wanted to fiddle with my engine and just replace the gaskets and heads for 250 bucks but charge me $4500. Then when the engine started going out again they wanted another $1800 to explore when a new engine was $6000, why not just do that in the first place? Money. Then I have AC in the front and back they wanted to fix the AC in the front. Then that was $2000 so then they wanted to fix the AC in the back for another thousand. Take it to another mechanic who is honest and shows me the hose with a hole in it the whole time. That only cost $35 for that hose. Again do yourself a favor and get second opinions these guys like to charge for repairs that are not necessary. I’m over $12,000 into them and could have saved $8000 elsewhere.

Ray and Eddie are honest and not trying to rip off the customer. They provided me great customer service and saved me thousands of dollars. Told them had a top end issue and instead of taking the money and doing the top end job, they ran there test and called me and said I didn’t need a top end. They replaced a faulty fuel level sensor which is located in the gas tank. I was very impressed with the speedy repair and the accurate pricing of the entire procedure. Excellent place to take your vehicle. I have an older dodge truck. They were able to work on it with no problems. I was updated every step of the way on the progress. I never felt pressured to make any repairs that needed to be done. All the staff was friendly and helpful.Only criticism if any is they are a Monday thru Friday shop. It makes it hard for those of us who work. But with that being said, they are worth the effort of rearranging your schedule to take them your vehicle.Appts are highly recommended. They will do fast, efficient, and correct work. This was my first time coming here and I will always take my vehicles back to them.

Eddie and his crew are good people. Putting a bad starter in my car is a mistake I guess any shop can make but what was bad for me was when I called and talked to Alfredo about it he argued and acted like it might not be their fault and I was so worried all night that they might not take care of it. Jim would have just said dont worry about it Jackie just come in and well take care of it and it wouldve been fine. Everything turned out fine his mechanic realized they put a bad starter in and they replaced it and Im on the road! Thank you for making it rightUPDATE... AFTER ONLY ONE YEAR AND PAYING$525 MY STARTER WENT OUT AGAIN BECAUSE THE USED AFTER MARKET PARTS AND I HAD TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND PAY FOR ANOTHER ONE!

2014 Dodge DurangoFirst timer at Eddie’s. My visit was based mostly on good Yelp reviews. Before going, I did my own research as far as what could be wrong with my vehicle, since I had heard it was something these cars are know for. It definitely was valve train issues and they broke it down to me from how and why it happens to what is needed and recommended once they take it apart. I also had a chance to meet Eddie when I went back to grab something from my car. He greeted me and asked me which car was mine. When I told him, he reassured me they would take care of me and have it back to me in a timely manner. Very polite man. Made me feel like a longtime friend or family member. After getting my car back, Jim explained the warranty to me which put me way at ease. Thanks for your help on this guys 👍🏼

Highly satisfied with the job Eddies have done with my car. I went in for a diagnostic check, oil change, smog, new front breaks and new clutch and was told it would be in 3 days. They had it done in 2 days and running great. I had to take it back the next week for a new starter and will be going back for struts soon. Great customer service, Jim is super nice and keeps you up to date with what is going on as it happens.

I have been taking my Jeep to Eddie’s Auto Care for a few years now and have always been satisfied with their level of customer service and quality of work but this time I felt overcharged. They replaced two filters and a hose and the labor was $300! The parts were only $136. I asked them to look at my brakes since they were the ones that installed them but they said they were just fine which I was happy with but I was shocked at the labor costs for this job. Not sure if I will be back.

I had my Subaru head gaskets, timing belt & water pump done at Eddies several months ago. They did a great job. I live in the mountains & it hasnt overheated going up the 18, even during this bad heatwave. Everyone has been very professional & friendly. Also, Jim told me that my front lower control arms & all 4 struts needed replacing but he said I should be able to do that myself to save some money. So its not like they were trying to get more money out of me & I appreciate his honesty. I did the suspension stuff & Im a happy customer.

I highly recommend them. Very thorough about explaining what your vehicle needs, no trying to tack on unnecessary items. Dealer said I needed a power steering pump, they determined pump was just fine. Overall got more items done for the same price I wouldve paid at the dealership. Yesterday I was referring to Eddie’s auto care by my AAA insurance for vehicle repairs on my 2020 Ford Ranger truck. After a brief investigation I looked up Edide’s auto care and quickly learned through their outstanding reviews that is a professional and I well trusted mechanic shop to take your cars in for repairs. I went and I spoke with the front desk consultant and estimator who informed me that he had 23 vehicles ahead of my car that need to be serviced and finished. After I decided to move forward and do the repairs my vehicle was repaired at a very convenient price. Everyone at the shop looked very impressive their uniforms were very clean looking professional and their command presence was very inviting to the business. When I went to pick up my truck this morning it was washed and detailed inside and outside I was amazed and never expected such an amazing customer care and these people to show so much compassion about their customers. HONEST and PROFESSIONAL are two words that are not often used when reviewing an auto care shop but this place is absolutely that! My truck has been suffering from a leak for well over a year that I had put off fixing because either I had no mechanic I could trust or I could not afford to have the work done. I actually did some researching for an auto shop since last year and Eddies Auto Care had excellent reviews at that time. Fast forward to this month when I went back on google to see any current reviews just to be pleasantly surprised that the reviews as current as last week were just as positive as the reviews from last year so with that kind of consistency I was convinced to give Eddies a try and I was so glad I did! I was more than impressed with the customer service I received from Alfredo from the moment I walked in to the time I picked up my truck. They keep you so well informed with the status of your vehicle in the repair process through a text message system. The detailed review and breakdown or your vehicles inspection was beyond anything I have ever experienced at any auto shop including the dealership. They even included pictures of your vehicle of what needs to be repaired so there is no second-guessing what work is really being done on your vehicle. This really put my mind at ease and it reassured me I picked the right shop! I cannot believe the car dealerships cannot be this advanced and efficient with their service departments. My truck was brought in one day for the inspection and brought back the next day when the part was available and the repair work was complete! I work in the State/Cal Trans building downtown, this place was also very convenient for me, and they even gave me a ride to work on the day of the repair. The best part about all this is that the final bill did not make me feel like I was paying for all their technology advanced conveniences! I left there in my truck feeling confident in knowing my money was well spent at this shop and I just found my new local mechanic! These people answered all my questions when I called and did not have an attitude. Friendly and Welcoming! My car needed a lot of fixing and they went above and beyond. I had to take it back for a readjustment and they gave me a free alignment for my troubles. I had an issue that three other mechanics could not fix and Eddies did. Also when the others, needed me to bring back my car since they had to order the parts, these guys at eddies got it the same day. my car was ready the next day. incredible.Raymond was helpful with answers and got everything done as promised. But i would realy had like them to check and fix all issues that i had brought to their attention before releasing my car and now i have to take it back. I had to have the transmission rebuilt in my Jeep. I stopped it off on a Friday afternoon right before they closed and took care of me. I had to leave it there for a week, but I loved that I was constantly receiving updates by both a phone call & text messages! Unfortunately, this experience was very different from my previous ones here. Was initially told my car needed a $1200 repair but only to see what the further problem could be. When I told them I could not afford the cost, EVERYTHING went downhill from there. Had to run around town for an extra key, was told my car would be done in 3 days and was told at the last minute that nothing had been done yet, then that some of their equipment was not working properly (convenient). As if all this wasnt enough, they left a mess in my car which I will be posting on Yelp. Do not come here. You may just be the person they need to hit their quota. I honestly believe the positive reviews on here may be from their friends or relatives because I was not the only person there to have a negative experience. Whatever reply the owner may make to this rating I hope he/she keeps in mind that this will not rectify the situation.

Ive taken my car here 4 times in the last 2 years for different things...they are very honest and prices are fair! They only charge for what you need. I thought I needed a new oil pan (because a lube and tube joint wouldnt said the oil pan bolt was stripped). Eddies found that the bolt just needed to be tightened ..after that they became my go-to-place for car repairs. Another time, I thought I needed all new brakes and rotors, turned out just needed back brakes because front brakes were fine and rotors werent damaged. This is the only place I trust to take my car for repairs and I highly recommend them.

I went to Eddies based on Yelp reviews, and they were quick with the service but they did work that was not necessary and I lost out on $900. Car was giving me high motor temperature on the dash and they told me it was one thing and I trusted them and got it fixed with them. Next week same problem comes up, and I bring it back it in and now Im told take it to Ford because theres nothing the shop can do from here. Lost out on that money, and as a college student trying to save on every little penny during these times, that really hurt. Writing this just so others are cautious, and hopefully you take your car to the right place based on its need.

I knew they were fantastic and different from the first phone call because the employee spoke with me on the phone for about 30 minutes, answering all of my questions and being patient with my ignorance toward cars. After three unsuccessful attempts to fix my 2003 RAV4 by other smog repair shops, I was recommended Eddie’s . I wish I had known about them months ago...I would have saved money and time. They quickly diagnosed my cars evap failure issue, fixed it & got it to pass smog. Not only that, they did a 30 pt inspection & found the source of my oil leak, fixed that & replaced filters, etc. They also replaced my front windshield and seal (it was leaking horribly in the rain) & windshield wipers. They bait an switch, the boss gave me a written estimate of how much it would cost for them to do some after care work on my car however they charged me a lot . About a two to three period went by an I had to go back after my never having a problem radiator spring aleak . When I got their I asked one of the staff if they could also take care of the 75.00 after care we had discussed before he wanted to charge me over 600 for that. When I told him ooo no thats to much upon the inspection of the radiator leak I dont think I had an they did something to make sure they got that 600 plus they charged me yet another 800 plus dollars to replace my radiator. They are a rip off company I feel they took total advantage of me. An I had just gotten my stimulus it went all to them an then some. I requested that the owner contact me . I never recieved a call . I would not recommend them to anyone. I am afraid of them at best.

I went to get my PCV valve hose replaced here and get my smog done. I already had the new PCV valve with me and I had told the mechanic that I just needed him to take the old one off and replace it with the one I had brought. Wanted to charge me $244 to fix my front brakes on my 2012 cruze, I declined the service and as I was leaving my car began to shake and screech which it had not been doing, I turned back and was told the mechanic had left a piece of metal on my breaks. I brought a vehicle over hoping to have it inspected by the guys at Eddies. I thought I had a good idea about what my problem mightve been but I decided an all-round diagnosis would be best for me and my vehicle.I showed up right on time for my 8am Friday appointment to dropped off the vehicle. Gave some info at the front desk on why I was bringing in my car for inspection. I expressed my suspicions of there being a vacuum leak somewhere near the intake manifold triggering the service light to flash and also a possible right front wheel bearing might need replacing. The Guy at the front desk seemed like a professional and assured me my vehicle would be put through a number of scans and check ups to find the source of the problem.Hours went by until I received a call at around 3pm. To my surprise I was told their diagnostics guy wasnt feeling well after taking his covid19 vaccine and had gone home early for the day. Though he was able to do a test drive before leaving and I was told he couldnt find anything wrong with the vehicle. He didnt even mention anything about the right side wheel bearing. Was my car even looked at?? What about the trouble code it came in with?? I didnt even receive a diagnosis estimate or paperwork of any kind. It seems all they did was clear the preexisting code the car came in with then called it a day.I like my car, shes abit old but Ive got abit of sentimental value for it. Ive done some research, Ive read over the dealer/haynes manuals, Ive looked at live data, Ive recorded freeze frames, Ive done OBD2 scans, Ive performed mode 6 reports, heck I have another IDENTICAL vehicle to test electrical sensors for controlled experiments. Its safe to say theres something triggering the constant p0100 trouble code and no its not the maf sensor.Its not my first time coming to Eddies, Ive been here before for strut replacements in 2019. At that time I did find used dirty latex gloves in my trunk after receiving my car back but at least the job was done, rushed but done.If youre still reading this, take pride in your ride, and thinking of bringing it in to Eddies for maintenance I would recommend not to. Perhaps for more simple oil changes and break jobs but nothing else. All names were purposely left out. In no way was my intent for writing this review to bash on anyone specifically but to log my personal experience. Took my camry in for a real quick check because the idle on car was fluctuating from 1000 rpm and down and up so it turned out it had a bad misfire and a couple other things . Car started sluggish, check engin light came on mind you its weeks before smog due. I run obdll Automatic in car i lose it a lot so it instant tells me best shop to go to near by. Eddies Auto Care pops up, I pop in, its busy. I think well thats an awsome thing. Never go to car repair shops that has no customers. i have a chat with Alfredo now mind you he stayed with me every step of the way. I made an appointment for later in the week quick and easy. I work for an autoparts store plus my classic cars I do myself. I like to think im above basic knowledgeable about cars. Best experience ever had, their service and customer service spot on at eddies. Issue was my car is a brat. Could only get the part from the dealer, I double checked. Once got my part recived at eddies i got check ups sent straight to my phone. My car was ready for me once i got off work that same day. They where even going to have it washed for me. Raymond refused to give a quote for a clutch job on a 2005 corolla. Kept asking if I had a car and engine that werent sold in usa. A first for me lol. Then he got upset and hung up the phone. Edmundo are you listening?Update; I changed the clutch flywheel and the rear seal myself and changed all the bearings in the transmission myself. I do mean I rebuilt the entire c59 with new bearings. Not for the faint-hearted. It wasnt even that hard! Thanks Ray for saving me a couple of thousands.

I called on Saturday to have the flex pipe on my Audi repaired, due to situations out of my control I was unable to get down there. I called again today on 5/9/16 and was told yes come down they and they would take care of it. Upon my arrival I was turned away and they stated they didnt have time when I asked why then would their employee tell me to come down he said not my problem. Bad customer service. TL:DR:- Family environment- Fairly Priced- Saved money- Great customer service- Fixed primary problem- Correctly predicted solution to problem with no additional fixes past initial estimate- Timely completion of repairsCame in to get a SMOG check/cert first thing in the morning. I woke up at 5:30 am to visit another shop earlier in the morning but despite their listed hours they were not open at 6 am. Their loss.I arrived ~10 minutes prior to their listed hours (opening at 8 am) to hopefully be first in line for service (as an aside, it was Presidents Day). I was approached by one of the technicians asking if I was waiting for someone, as I was just standing around waiting for them to open. He mentioned that I could go wait inside even though they werent open just yet because he didnt want me to get wet (it was raining).Upon entering I was greeted by another service tech, and he did my initial intake of information. He mentioned that they opened at 9 am but that I would be first inline for service. I was apprehensive about the SMOG as I have been having some fuel system problems and figured it would contribute to a failed SMOG check. The service tech outline the process thoroughly and mentioned that while dealing with the SMOG check they would keep an eye out for that specific fuel system issue (which didnt surface, go figure).One thing that struck me about the crew there was the hospitality and the close-nit family environment. When walking out to catch a ride home, all of the employees were sitting down to breakfast before they opened. Im not sure if they were going over the days business while eating but it is something that Ive done in the past. Sitting down and enjoying a meal with my co-workers and discussing the upcoming days goings-ons.Any who, after dropping the vehicle off at 8 am I received a call at 10:36 am explaining that my 90 Jeep Cherokee XJ had not passed SMOG (badly not passed) and that they needed to move on to diagnosing the problem. At 12:40 pm the next call came stating that the Catalytic Converter & O2 sensor needed to be replaced in order for my vehicle to pass SMOG (my emissions were well above average). Gave them the go ahead to replace them. Eddies predicted a completion time between 4:30 pm and 5 pm. At 4:56 pm I was informed that my vehicle was ready for pick up and had passed SMOG with flying colors (the change in emission levels between the failed test and test after repairs were pretty massive).Because I did the SMOG check, repair, and certification there I ended up saving ~$300 dollars due to in-house discounts for sticking with them through the entire process (saving money is always appreciated).I am absolutely satisfied with the service I received from Eddies Auto Care and will be returning with all my future auto service needs. Additionally, Id like to mention their online app. This is a great system you can opt into for keeping track of routine maintenance of your vehicle as well as a catalog of previous repairs completed. Throughout the entire process it kept me informed of what was going on to my Jeep. Only thing that would make that application better would be a real time update of when my vehicle was being serviced and what what happening. Other than that, no complaints.Only reason I gave a 4 star vice a 5 star is not being able to reproduce my fuel system issue (which surfaced about an hour after leaving their garage, go figure, but was unrelated to what I came into the shop for).Slap hands gents, much appreciated.

I went in to get a recalibration as I had several times before. I had 10 hours left. The attendant Anthony tells me they cant do it. Doesn’t clearly explain why. So now Im stressed out, have no idea what to do as I will get locked out of my car in 10 hours. Offers no solution, and instead of saying, “ Sorry for the inconvenience”, is argumentative and rude before telling me their technician is gone for 2 months. Funny how they need a technician to do a one second job. Ended up going to Dr Soundz on Waterman. No joke, the wait was less than a minute and they charged me $15 less! Wait at Eddies was 15 to 20 min everytime. Never going back to Eddies for anything.

I typically take my civic to rspec motork for electrical and bolt on parts. But, they had a problem wither phones. So, I had to go to Eddies. I was reluctant. Because, you get jipped by mechanics if youre not savvy on mechanic work. But, I went into it with an open mind. I had an electrical drain after installing a new alternator. They discovered I had a fault in my positive lead that was possibly caused by the new alternator that went bad. They have been very helpful. Good shop.

I had a real problem. That turned into a lot more problems. I was aware of this before I took it in. I took it to three different shops. They found out some the problems. I still have another problem but they stated that their might be another problem. I would highly recommend them do to their honesty.
