Great value! Easy to install on wordpress. They host the shopping cart and the images, which lowers your server load significantly. Frequent updates and improvements. The only reason I am not giving a five star is that when the shopping cart initially loads in wordpress takes 2 seconds. Once loaded, browsing the store is super fast. The initial load time used to be longer, but they improved the plugin. I hope they will improve the load time with the future updates...One more positive thing is that the URLs of the shopping cart are search engine optimized, which is great as now I see product pages listed on google.
I have found that having Ecwid store on my website has been excellent. It is very easy to navigate and the time saved allows me to focus on other projects like shipping. The software is impressive and very functional and effective. I have no regrets about going with Ecwid so far. Sales have been coming in and I got the hang of it in about a week. The best part though was that I got immediate help via the live chat box anytime I needed and the help was so thorough! Very different from most companies. Id recommend it to anyone with an online store.
I recently signed up for the free version to create an online store. I must have made a mistake when setting up, as I am not getting the names of the buyer/customer. I also need to make a simple edit as my price changes on some items after the 1st of the month.I need to speak with someone for 5 minutes to help, but they only have support for premium customers. I do not wish to sign up and pay $15.00 per month to get a simple question answered. I will be looking for another company that has a phone and accepts phone calls from customers. Even the email I sent has not been returned.
I began with free Ecwid, and then moved to a premium version when my product list exceeded the free amount. I could not be more pleased. The store is easy for my customers to use and the service is tops. Very, very easy for me to add new products, change prices, run special sales, add pictures, etc. I love Ecwid and would not consider changing.

Terrible. They have a pay by phone method that has my money from customers trapped and theyre only willing to communicate by email and thats not helping at all. I have to remove their system off of my website to prevent from more customers using the pay by phone method because that doesnt truly pay for the merchandise. I waited so long for them to get back with me that I had no choice but to ship out the customers order so they wouldnt have to wait any longer. Until this is rectified theyre a terrible service and surefire hinderance to my online business process. Oh by the way, the only way theyll talk to me on the phone about freeing my money up is if I purchase a monthly membership. Crazy.
The Ecwid platform is very easy to use, full of features and makes managing my online store, advertising for it, sending follow up cart reminders to potential customers easy to do. There has been some hickups with merging our Printful products but overall we are more than pleased with Ecwid and have recommended it to several friends.

Their staff is pleasant, always available by chat, and the support team is really top notch. They will go out of their way to help you.I was with Shopify, but look at Ecwids benefits:More functionality out of the box.It will work with anything. I have my catalogue on 2 different sites one is on Word Press, the other is on uKit. Tha catalogue can be divided up in a way that you can offer different products on different sites.Unlike shopify, there are a couple of 3rd party solutions to integrate with Ebay and Amazon (and many other marketplaces....) I only pay $5 a month to synch my catalogue with my eBay store!Bst of all, Ecwid not only gives my business wings, and I pay about 60% of the price I was paying to Shopify, with all of the addons that I needed.If I could change one thing about Ecwid, I wouldnt.Ecwid is the most flexible, best supported ecommerce platform I have ever found. They are 100% fair. They are customer centric. They are the BEST business decision that I have ever made.
I really love my ECWID online store. It is easy to use online from a computer and on the go. I think its best suited for someone who wants to use it as their main site. The integration isnt as great as I was hoping for squarespace. But I think that is a squarespace issue not an ECWID issue. Theres so many amazing features. Youve GOT to try it. I think its better than all the other options I looked into. Im very happy with it. I hope they improve the ability of squarespace to search my products. THIS WOULD BE LIFECHANGING. Hopefully someone in the ECWID tech department sees this and has some ideas to improve it.
If I could give a lower rate, I would give a lower rate. I normally dont write reviews but Ecwid is really NOT ok. They offer you an upgrade for live chat and extra support, I even paid for 2 upgrades so that I could have a better service BUT there support isnt available in weekends, I really had no opportunity at all to get some help. Like an online shop stops in weekends and only opens during the week ... They really dont understand the ecommerce clients. Bad customer experience, really!

I have had my Ecwid account for a year now and have had few problems. I dont have a lot of inventory so its hard to say if it has been profitable. It is easy to keep up to date and they are making improvements that keep things organized. I am continuing with them with hogh hopes for the future.
We have been with Ecwid for about six months now. Sales seemed to dip for a couple of months as we had ceased Google Ads. We are now very pleased with the gradual increase in contacts and in sales that are now accruing. Our product position on Google has also come up well. The site is relativly easy to self manage and we now fing it quite easy to add products and change prices.
Ive had a great experience with ecwid. I love how they are always adding features to make the ecommerce entrepreneurs lives easier. Extra shout out to Vicky from the customer relations team. She is quick to reply with screenshots a s helpful information.
Overall it works well however there are some areas that need fine tuning.Updating stock levels is not as easy as it could be. It would be better if that process could be achieved without having to edit each product.... from a summary page for example.

Ive been using Ecwid ecommerce for some time now. I find their online chat support to be above the norm, even when compared to other companys online phone support platforms. Their ecommerce interface is user friendly and Ecwid has many app integrations one can add, to tailor their ecommerce for their business and their customers needs. Ecwid support staff is really top notch. For lay tech people, their support always goes above and beyond to help with adding code, by giving specific direction or emailing back screenshots or videos of applications so their customers can design their ecommerce with ease and resolve any issues. Ecwid always help in a more than timely fashion. Seriously impressed with the Ecwid ecommerce platform as an app, their customer support, and their reasonably priced ecommerce. 6 stars out of 5. Ecwid was a no-brainer choice for us. The tools available and ease of set up for the price is unparalleled. Pair this with the app and website and ShipStation integration and we have never looked back. If I could give a 4.9 I would, the reason is the difficulty, and sometimes lack of, customization for some features, though very minor details.

Slow cart service and poor support.We have had consistent unavailability of our cart which is linked to our WIX site. We are losing sales as clients cannot connect to the cart. Repeated mails to support did not help and they keep blaming WIX. But the WIX portion of the page loads fine, it is the ECWID cart which times out when loading.
As a novice to web design and e-commerce set up, it was easy to launch our Online Shop. And it is also very easy to manage the Online Shop.

So easy to upload your products and integrate them with your website, or even Facebook. When you update your catalogue, the shop automatically updates wherever it is online. Fantastic!
Ecwid is simply the best, Easy shopping cart. It only has one limitation of the design of the Ecwid starter site. You can change how the page design looks like. e.g the position of Logo, search button and adding buttons on the page.
I find Ecwid very easy to use. I love the option where they look after payment options either using Paypal or Visa/MC or others.There are also plugins to help you determine shipping.

The Ecwid site was so easy to setup and to be honest I am the least computer savvy person I know. I am amazed at how easy it is to use the checkout, keep track of what needs to be shipped and keep track of sales for bookkeeping.

I found navigating the web builder super easy, with the exception of a few little things, but my queries were answered promptly.
Bad company had an order a buyer placed cannot get paid out and there customer service is so bad they cant even assist you over the phone they use all chat if i would have knew this i would have never set up with this company do yourself a favor and save your money they do not help when you need it waste of time and money take you business to a more reputable company

2023-09-07 16:11:54Hardest website for e-commerce when you just want to create! Wix was way easier and less complicated! I have had to jump through so many hoops to try to accept credit card payments on my website! It’s not even worth the hassle! Oh and every little thing you want to do forces you into a more expensive upgrade. For example…defining shipping sizes….yep gotta upgrade! I suggest going through another website provider! Do your research!

The logic behind setting up the zones and shipping options takes a while to understand but apart from that I can thoroughly recommend it. The free version is really good for businesses wanting to try online selling for the first time.

2017-12-04 20:23:03Very easy tracking incoming online orders, quick notifications have really only had one problem and it was more on setting up. I had customers leaving carts because of the available phone orders that needed to be changed to credit card orders. Changed the setting this morning. We no longer offer phone orders through our online store so that solved that problem. The site is very user friendly and easily set up and changed.

2019-10-21 16:49:11I am still working on setting up my Ecwid store but several things have impressed greatly. I had a store using another platform which was a nightmare to integrate into my site. Ecwid however, has proved amazingly intuitive with a huge range of help pages. Technical support has also been first rate. May need to upgrade again in the not too distant future, perhaps they will be rolling out Christmas present discounts :-)

2023-04-30 15:41:16Someone that I assume works on this store has been trying to use my card (that I lost at Incheons airport) here multiple times a day (I counted 25 times in total in the last 5 days) This happends everyday around 4 pm and am or 10 pm and am (PDT). I wanted to write an email but this is the only way I could find to contact someone. Its a Revolut card, purple and blue, and its been blocked since I fisrt noticed I lost it, so PLEASE stop using it. Every time you try to pay with it, I get a notification with the location and the name of the store. They always try to pay 22,90€ (I dont know how much it is in dollars). PLEASE, stop trying to use my card, thank you.

My store comes with many great features already built in, for a very reasonable monthly fee. I’ve been able to launch my store, connect it to my WIX website that I previously had, and make sales every week!The support team is prompt, friendly and knowledgeable.too.
