Somehow they have a small amount of kids toys but its always been a great selection. Kids clothing is not worth the time, its never organized by size. I wouldnt recommend it if youre looking for home decor or home items as the selection isnt great. Clothing selection is decent- not the best in the area but not the worst. They have a lot of wedding dresses which I havent seen at many thrift stores. Overall better than most thrift stores in the area but it depends what youre looking for.

The lack of dressing rooms makes it difficult to shop for clothing here. I saw some people trying on clothes in the middle of the store, but I do not feel decent or comfortable doing that. I prefer to patronize businesses that show more trust in their customers and more care for the customer experience.

NEW REVIEW FROM MELS MEMOS🐞:Eco Thrift store on Greenback and San Juan ave in Citrus Heights has once again reaffirmed my 0ne Star rating.Heres one example: they have a bag of toy cars behind the boutique yesterday with a price on them of $39.99.. Theyre asking 40 bucks for a few toy cars (1:64 scale), with a couple broken ones, mostly dilapidated, non collectable, roughly used toy cars that only one or two were actual hot wheels! But thats not even the important part of this live example.. its the fact that they do this with everything, from toys to clothes: they price all their items 3 times higher than theyre actually willing to sell it for, so that if a person waits for it to be 75% off, Eco Thrift Store people STILL GET MORE THAN THE DANG ITEM IS WORTH BRAND NEW!Theyve always been greedy, & money hungry who dont care a lick about their customers nor do they about our community.How is a mother who is shopping at a thrift store supposed to afford a $40 bag of junk toy cars for her deserving little boy?! Not at Eco Thrift Store thats for sure. What I think is theyve forgotten what a thrift store is all about. Their prices are highly competitive to ones you see on the Internet. They get a named brand item donated to them, they look that item up on the web, and Viola! They see what said item is worth BRAND NEW, then they may even raise the new price a bit, then thats the price they slap on said item. Its so disturbing. This Store is a joke. Its a Resellers Goodwill. Everything is so expensive its insane. They have a lot of items but its too high and unaffordable for me to buy anything. Years ago it was affordable but Id skip this Store their are tons of affordable Goodwills in the Sacramento are that are worthy of your time and Money.

Extremely disappointed in this so called ‘thrift’ store. Walmart brand, Mainstays used faded blankets for $30. Stained pillow cases for $10. Disgusting rugs for $50! You can shop at target for less. They are charging more than retail for used damaged items they got FOR FREE. Don’t buy here. Support a real thrift store. This place is a rip off.

Love this store! The pros, good finds, my daughter bought a cashmere coat with fox fur collar, I bought a cashmere scarf with rabbit fur trim. The cons, dressing rooms closed. Thats stupid. Its annoying. I wont try clothes I dont get to try on, especially with their all sales final policy. Other than that, I would have given 5 stars.

Horrible experience! Not to even mention their prices on most things are the same if not more than one you can buy with the warranty brand new from a real store. The higher ups treat their employees almost as bad as they do us customers! And what is it with the speedy fast turnaround?! They get a whole new set of employees it seems every month! Hhhmmmmmmm.. do they all quit at the same time, or what! Will NEVER go there again!! Hope no one else is ever treated the way I was.. 😔

I am a big into thrifting, and Eco is by far one of my favorite spots. They have a large variety of items and the items are of good quality for a second hand store. I scored today on a faux leather jacket that was priced at 19.96 however it was part of their ticketed items that was 50% off!! Needless to say I am one happy gal.

They have weekly sale colors at 25%. 50% in 75% off. Thats how youll really saveFor some reason, they close on Sundays and Mondays.Youll find some really nice clothes, many with tags still on them like new. Their sizing and sorting is a little bit of a free-for-all so you do have to go through a lot of clothes to find your size.My biggest complaint to Eco Thrift:** They dont allow you to try on clothes. They dont allow you to exchange clothes.Different brands fit differently, especially with pants. When you get home, and it doesnt fit...Sorry Charlie!!NO TRYING THE CLOTHES ONNO RETURNS OR EXCHANGESPERIOD!!!!!!!

They price used game consoles up way too much, considering they dont always come with all cables or even a controller. You dont even get to save with the sale colors, because it turns out consoles are considered high ticket items and are excluded from the sales.

Used to be a good Eco Thrift, but its prices is skyrocketing. Some stuff is cost more then if you buy it from retail store, like the polo shirts that is priced there for $40, come on its USED. Just go to MK or Tommy stores and buy CHeaper and its brand new. Yeah, they have like 25, 50,75% off that may save you some money but you have to come back like a next week when they change colors. I seen used PRADA shoes for $249.00, really?? At Eco THRIFT, And its used ones. If you want to find something good you have to come everyday and before noon. The stuff that works there is nice and helpful there.

Me and my co-worker had the most horrible experience today at this store. We were followed the entire time. Once we went to check out my co-worker had 3, yes I said THREE people standing behind her as she checked. I had TWO people standing with me. A total of FIVE people at the register with us. I asked why so much attention the ladies said to me it was just to make sure everyone was okay. What the hell!! Everyone like who?? We were shopping for our clients who was with us both people are DeafBlind and one in a wheelchair. All while driving our company van with the phone number plasters on the side. What the hell did they think we were going run out the store without paying and drag two blind people with us then jump in a company car. I had also purchased a clock and left it at the front because it was to big to carry. I forgot it, called back the told me they can’t hold anything and they don’t do returns. So basically they are just going to keep my item and resell it and keep my money. DO NOT SHOP At THIS PLACE!! They are horrible!!!

Would have given this thrift store a much higher review but after picking up a handful of clothes and then finding out there was no fitting rooms I was quite irritated. FIRST AND LAST TIME! Narrow isles and terrible registers!! They blamed me for not scanning an item when I know I did. I do not steal. The lady who was hovering over my shoulder shouldve rang me up if they had such terrible registers. It shouldnt beep if it did not scan item correctly.Terrible checkout and terrible experience. Sad cause I was looking for a good thrift store. Left embarrassed and disappointed.

I use to love this thrift store but it is very disappointing that the fitting rooms have been walled off (taken away) so you cannot try on clothes before you buy them. Especially when all sales are finale.Why would anyone buy something not knowing if it fits?! They should change their policy to a 7 day return window for clothes that dont fit or bring back the dressing rooms.

I am giving this place 4 stars its not a bad thrift store the employees are very nice and helpful Im just a bit disappointed on how the high the racks are its not fair to the people who are 52 or short or even people who are in wheelchairs I cant imagine how they feel?so unfortunately I dont feel like my visit back will be anytime soon. I like the set up how other thrift stores are and I wish eco thrift did the same all one level. but on the upside the employees are very welcoming and helpful and I do like when they have 25%,50%,75% on certain color tags.

This is by far my favorite thrift store in town. Ive gone here for a few years now, and its consistently awesome! They have so many things in this store and not only are the prices really good, but they also carry more Name brand clothes than other thrift stores. This store is clean and if you are looking for a good thrift store then you I suggest you try this one out for yourself. When I do shop here it takes at least a hour or more for me to get a look at most things. This is a quality thrift store.

The employees are very rude, not only do they encroach on my personal space, they do not social distance, they will walk right on front of me with a rack of clothes without paying attention and dont say excuse me. There were some younger employees laughing and making jokes at the expense of a customer around other customers. The cashiers seemed like they were having a hard time counting out change for another customer and also had a hard time communicating with another customer due to a language barrier. The store was filthy, and nobody seemed to care about the clothes on the ground or the hangers on the ground one of which I almost slipped on and twisted my ankle. There was however a cute little manager working up front trying her hardest to get the staff to listen while she was watching for shoplifters, she seemed overwhelmed and tired but you could she she was trying. ;) the prices o items did go up on a lot of things some of which you could buy brand new at the store but with the color discounts if they were o sale would have been a good deal.

First time thrifting here, the place was nice and well organized. They have daily color tag sales, so pay attention to the color and price tags. I bought a few pieces for work, some shorts for the rest of summer and two graphics tees all under $30. Happy with my purchase. 👍

This place has a great selection. The best selection of any thrift store Ive been to. I always find name brand clothes at incredibly low prices and thats what keeps me going back. Everything else is quite pricey for a thrift store though and those prices should be brought down a little.

Love this store. I found a bunch of name brand vintage sweaters for great prices. I got a total of 9 things for $22. The prices are great, not only are they great they have tag colors that have certain other percentages off. The only issue is how crowded it gets and how tight the isles are. People will literally bump you out of the way to get to where you’re standing. Wait your turn!

Cool place to look for deals BUT you really need to look! Its pricey but WORTH it as their items are mostly purchased at auction and not donated garbage! You need to go early in the morning to beat the rush. Plus every week (Tuesdays) certain colors go on sale from 25% to 75% off! I came here specifically looking for video games, and I have to say that the prices are actually insulting and insane. Many of these games have a market price of $5 or less but they are priced at $10 or even $25! Can I afford to buy them? Yes. Will I buy them at this outrageous price? No! Call of Duty 4 can be found in a thousand other places for less than $5, but I found a copy here priced at $20. Absolutely insane and insulting to people coming here thinking that it’s an actual thrift store. This is a “specialty” consignment store run by someone who thinks they have hidden treasures and want to make as much money as possible. This is not a store for you if you are looking for real thrift store prices. The only items priced at reasonable prices were the clothes. Everything else is way overpriced, to the point of actual insanity. You’re better off looking elsewhere if you’re in the market for anything other than clothes.

I have been shopping here for 6 years now and was very disappointed this last 2 visits, it has gotten very extensive and not thrift like even with the daily discounts, I hardly ever get anything discounted anymore, and the items that are you can buy from Walmart new!! Also staff stands in isles doing hatever and dont get out of your way to look,nor do they say sorry!! The merchandise is vastTheir prices are some what a little higher than other thrift stores but they offset that by offering many many things at 50 and 75 % off if its coded with the colors of the day. I actually came back to edit my first review, I didnt realize how incredibly overpriced thisplace was. I wasnt paying attention when my husband checked out. He doesnt know any better but he paid 3.99 for a freaking1 tree coloring book, and 2.99 for OFF BRANDmarkers probably also from the 1 tree, nothing wrong with $1 tree, I love the store, but holy freaking mark up! So beware and watch your husbands lol. Theres no reading books at all, not much of a toy selection. I should add that there were 2 kids in there literally tearing everything apart, and pulling things down from every isle, I couldnt even push cart through, and the girl rammed a large toy car into my leg and foot.. Dont be that person, the thrift store isnt their playroom and the employees shouldnt have to pick up after them, and the other shoppers shouldnt have to trip over them and the stuff theyre messing with.

If I could give them a zero star rating I would.I grew up with Eco Thrift and they have changed for the worse.Today I went into Eco Thrift and I found a stuff animal did not have a price and they lady was very smug about it. Told me they could not sell it and come back tomorrow.At least goodwill would give me price on the stuff animal and a better price at that.I honestly believe they wanted to check the price on it and put a high price on it.

The employees are nice but the products are overpriced. I do however find a lot of great items. But when you find a pair of boots with $80 on the price tag and a stain on them Im sorry its not worth the price just because it has a name brand on it doesnt mean you have to put a high price on them. And the same with the jeans. Red tags that say $45 for a kids pair of jeans to much yall I get you need to keep your doors open but yall get enough revenue for that already. Youre a second hand store make the prices seem that way.

We used to go here a lot. We would get nice used sports clothing like Raiders and Sharks and it would cost us maybe $3-$6 but now? They wanted to charge $10.99 for a shirt I know was sold at Target for $15. That is not a thrift store price.. Discount second hand store perhaps but definitely not thrifty..

TERRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and skip it. There are tons of awesome thrift stores in the Sacramento and Roseville area who are more deserving of your hard-earned money. Between the mask regulation, extreme disorganization at the store, and the most ridiculous lack of customer service we received from the cashier, today will be our last day visiting Eco Thrift. Plus, their prices are ridiculous! Their clothes are the same as Walmart and Target, its laughable. The employees were walking around talking to each other completely walking in front of customers as if we didnt exist. It was like the Twilight Zone and I want no part of it.

Im only giving it 3 stars because the shopping experience can be fun & I love the oldies music they play. Its a treasure hunt for cute or unique stuff. My only complaints would be is if the item you fall in love with arent on their colors of the day discount chart....things can be too overpriced. Dry cleaning is an extra expense and a must, otherwise clothing items from Eco have a strong thrift store smell. Also, you have to careful since they are into mass selling, even If that means covering up & hiding damaged, torn or defective items with their price tags that you wont see until you get home and they wont let you return it.If you find an item that doesnt have a price tag, they wont let you buy it and theyd rather inconvenience the customer by making you come back to buy or find it some other day. Or theyll price it and never call you so you can buy it later. And....theres been more than a few times where those security locks have made it home with me because the cashier forgot to remove it and it was a hassle taking it back to get that situation resolved especially since they make a big deal about having a receipt. You can find great stuff at great prices but its not uncommon for me to return stuff to the rack or self because they are outrageously priced donations that you can find cheaper at department stores.

I love this place but I didnt give them 5 stars because of an incident that happened which really upsets me.I was in the San Juan location last week and I tried on a dress I really like, having had my eye on it for a few weeks...well the tag was due to come down to 75% off and I asked when that would happen, the clerk in the changing room said it would be this week...well...I went in today and eco has since changed the tags to a twice weekly switch...why wouldnt she have told me? Why did she steer me wrong?Anyway...I cant afford the dress now, Im disappointed, I was so excited.

They had 2 plates for $4 taped together and one SAME EXACT plate priced for $4... i grabbed all three and asked if i could get the one plate for $2 instead of $4 and all the supervisor said was ‘we have different people pricing them, sorry.’ How much sense does that make?! Prices are considerably better than other thrift stores. Employees are very courteous and helpful. Donations can be taken into store or dropped off at back of store. They will take a variety of items for donations. If one needs to know what they will take call first.

I love this place so much that I visit weekly! There are a few things that may seem overpriced but then just wait for the sale day. Sometimes I cant believe how cheap their stuff is. Great place to shop. The female manager is super nice! Very helpful. I wished they would stay open later like they used to. They are missing a lot of business by closing early. The prices have gone up in the Botique since the one lady has been gone and that I believe is slowing down the sales there. They should look at that. Other than that, I like to look for bargains.

As far as thrift stores go, this one is pretty good. They seem to have a huge selection of clothing in different sizes. When I was in the habit of shopping for primary grade school clothing, I was always able to find something. They have a large kitchen section as well, and occasionally I come across an interesting or needed item at a fair price. I like that they continually move their merchandise by marking it down via color coding. Each week sale discount, based on the color of price tag, changes. For example, this week items with orange tags are 75% off price marked on the tag, items with yellow tags are 50% off, and items with green tags are 25% off. Next week, items with orange tags are (I believe) sent away (hopefully to those who provide for the needs of homeless or indigent people). The yellow-tagged items are 75% off, the green-tagged items 50% off, and white-tagged items are 25% off. I believe this is a 6-week cycle, which is an efficient way to move merchandise at a market-ready price, and also keeps the stock fresh.Because they are a re-sale company who buys from charitable organizations (and not a charitable org themselves) they seem to be definitely more business-minded than you might find in other 2nd-hand stores. Their shelves are organized and items are easy to view, clothing is sorted well by sizes, and the store is well kept. They do have a boutique in the front corner of the store, where they sell more valuable/collectible items (some might agree). Alas, their books are not sorted well - by subject, per se, but at least they are priced reasonably. This is definitely a more appealing browsing/shopping experience than one can find at, say, Goodwill.

Today I was 9n my electric kick scooter on my way home from a class. My sctooer needed to he charged and I now I go bu eco thrift on my way home. I decided to stop by there and ask if I could charger my scooter while I shopped. They were very nice and took it in the back and put it on the charger for me. I like this store. It seems to sell a little better quality clothing than the goodwill stores, I got some almost new Hawaiian shirts there for $ 5.00, shorts, tshirts, hats, football jerseys. You never know what you will find because the stock changes constantly as people buy and donate stuff.I try to go twice a month. This seems frequent enough to find new stuff that wasnt there last time, and the sales change weekly, so I can find some decent deals. Some items are even brand new with the tags still on them. These items are 50% off the original prices on the dept store tags. How do you beat brand new for 50 % off ?? Give this place a try, and if you dont find anything, go back in a few weeks. Pretty decent place to get second hand wares. They have special pricing on aged items as their discounts apply to color coded price tags on the items. Every week the price comes down if the merchandise is unsold. When you arrive there is a sign out front that indicates the percentage of discount on the seperate colors, 25%, 50%, 75%. Dont press your luck if you like the item, chances are someone else does also and it may not be there next week.

This store is clean, organized, and has good parking. Some prices are fair but I dont understand how you can sell a used shirt, designer or not for $50 at a second hand store. Like Macklemore says, $50 for a T-shirt, thats just some ignorant bullshh. And selling a used Kitchen Aid without any bowl or mixers for the same price as a brand new one is just ridiculous. Sometimes you find good deals, like a great winter peacoat for $5 and sometimes not. Still a good stop, and the staff are nice.

Shoes get pretty pricy for a second hand store.And it kinda sucks that the close at 7pm.Honestly, when others say that its messy, its not that messy, every second hand store has a particular smell and is somewhat messy because of how people treat it and dont care about it. Yes there is alot of items and some are just stacked on each other which makes it look messy or unorganized, but i would say it has a good place for everything.Don’t expect to walk into a second hand store and have the same feeling as if ur walking into Zara. Eco Thrift is a little pricey for a thrift store. Its also not that well organized and very over crowded with stuff and people. Its hard to look through things when everything is jam packed with stuff and other customers are also digging through it as well.
