The front nine is hilly and it has a couple of gimmick holes. Anyway its interesting. The back nine is more flat. The views were nice. Par 3s were good. The greens were good. The bunkers didnt have enough sand. The staff was very friendly. The round took 5 hours 20 minutes? The greenfee was pricey (100S). Thats why it didnt meet my expectations.

Let the pictures speak for themselves. It is so sad, as I love this course and it has gone so far downhill. The last time I played was August 2023 and it was in pretty good shape. Yesterday I played it and it was in terrible shape. The only good thing on the course are the greens. They rolled fast and smooth. Tee boxes are uneven and torn up. Fairways are bare, spotty, and lumpy. Bunkers are dirt and rocky. The 5-hour round is unacceptable. They want $70 to play in the morning. What a waste of money. So sad, this course used to be pristine. Dont believe their 4.4 Google rating. Those reviews arent talking about the course.

Awesome golf course with a challenging front 9. Surprised to see this nice a course just nearby. It’s equivalent to nice courses I’ve played in Palm Springs. Fairways are well maintained and well conditioned greens. Some bunkers need extra care but still ok. Course teaches you to be strategic rather than just hitting away. Will look forward to playing it again now that I’ve experienced it the first time.

2023-June: Thursday night. We were here to watch a cornhole tournament. There are lots of parking spaces. The facility was very clean. The staff was very helpful. Prices for the snacks and drinks are decent. The restrooms were clean.

This very scenic course was not too busy and in great condition recently, with flawless greens, sandy bunkers, and close-cut hybrid bermuda in the fairways. The front nine takes advantage of some steep terrain in the surrounding hills, while the back nine stays closer to the canyon floor and opens up a bit. Both play equally for scratch golfers according to USGA, but the front Slope is a little easier on the rest of us at 118 from the middle men’s, while the back is rated 123.

It’s very beautiful to see the snow-capped mountains while golfing on the top of the mountain.

The course rough was cut very short and is a bit dry on the fairways possibly for over seeding and aeration, the greens were well maintained but a bit dry on a few holes. I really enjoyed the scenic rolling hillside layout and the deer were out grazing on the 2nd hole fairway. The staff provided friendly excellent service, everyone I spoke to was very welcoming. Ill definitely be back to play here again.

Course is fun and beautiful if people keep their pace but we ended up a hour behind pace and had a 6 hour round on a Saturday because there was no marshall on duty. Had a 1:30 pm tee time and left at 7:30z We called the club house about the people in front but they said there was no marshall. Club house said that someone would go out but that never happened. I don’t understand how you don’t have a marshal on duty on your busiest day. Ruined the experience and won’t be coming back

Place is really nice friendly staff, especially the kitchen crew, with the exception of one she was extremely rude (marissal ) is her name I dont think shes part of the kitchen more of an event staff but regardless she needs to be properly trying to deal with guess.

Without a doubt, Eagle Glen is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the Temescal Valley. The course challenging and not for the weak of the knees (literally!). Super hilly and not at all walkable. The layout is brilliant, but plays longer as 75% of the holes are more or less uphill. I understand there have been many sightings of natural local wildlife roaming the course, but all I saw was a 30 handicapper playing from the blue tees, making four groups backed up behind him.I did not pick the best of days to play semi-expensive Eagle Glen, and certainly didnt get my moneys worth:I am currently handicapped with a knee replacement. The pro shop and starter agreed to give me a handicapped flag or cart, but I discovered three holes in that was not the case. The course is ultra difficult to walk, especially around the greens that are mostly elevated or in a bowl. I had to walk as much distance as I was able to ride. OK. So when I tried to reach the pro shop from the third hole to see if they could turn off the cart restrictor, I was put on hold for thirty minutes. I hung up and called again, and the same thing happened. Then again! No one answered the phone! Now Im trying to play golf while holding my phone listening to some god-awful wait music, in hopes someone would pick up, but no one did. I was stuck playing a super hilly course where carts arent allowed to be even reasonably close to the greens, and not allowed on several fairways. I had to leave after 11 holes, which was the biggest gyp. I saved up to play a deluxe course like Eagle Glen, and drove 35 miles to get there, but never got my moneys worth! Now, insult to injury: I checked to see if the greens might be in process of being aerated, and found that they were done a while ago, in mid-March. About a whole month ago! They were not at all close to being healed yesterday. Still punched, they played untrue and slow! Not nice greens, another gyp!I think staff should reach out to offer a refund or at least a rain check so I can play when Im more fit, and the greens healed. I think that would be fair. As for the rest, unless youre a tri-athelete with a single digit handicap, beware this course!
