2024-06-22 03:36:28Food and atmosphere are great. Service is good but if you go here when its busy.....Good luck! They need to improve their process of serving. Its a little convoluted if youve never been here before. Good food and a fun local bar.

You can order food at either counter, but youd get better service ordering at the front. The place can get a little grungy, but its kept clean enough. Food was good and really hit the spot! Staff are nice, too. Parking can be tough, but if you dont mind taking a walk, you can find a spot along the street

2023-06-05 16:01:58We arrived at 5pm PST at Stanfords iconic Dutch Goose (founded in 1966) to watch our beloved Nuggets lose to the Miami Heat. The Cali crowd was wearing Warriors gear, but cheering for Denver. Our hero stood in line next to a very independent 5 year old (in the red shirt) ordering with a baggie full of his savings. Sundays are definitely adorable family days at the Goose. 😁The wine & beer choices were amazing and budget friendly. In Menlo Park, you can find Russian River Beer & Flowers Pinot at a dive bar for $22 per round (including taxes). The bacon on our burgers was crispy salty deliciousness. The extra crispy fries were NOT extra crispy. It saved us from being complete 🐷🐷🐷🙄.

2022-05-26 08:39:54A great lively restaurant and sports bar that has a nice almost rustic feel to it. Come here to watch a game, catch up with some friends and family, or just have some burgers, fries beer and wine. Theres a lot of local sports memorabilia and pictures on the wall. There are 2 outdoor areas and 2 indoor areas, lots of seating yet can get busy during peak hours. No wait service here. You need to make your order at the counter and either wait to pick it up or theyll call your name. The kids might enjoy the mini arcade or the billiards table.

2024-05-06 03:33:01Low-key spot in Menlo Park, great pub food, good portions, nice outdoor seating with TVs, very chill inside. Id recommend the Brisket Caesar Salad, Onion Rings, Pizza, Chili or Burgers. Check it out if youre in that area.

2021-05-28 03:33:15Historic and well known local restaurant and bar located in Menlo Park. If visiting the area its worth checking this spot out, as it has a lot of history in Menlo Park, its well regarded by locals, and the food/beer is great. Plenty of outdoor seating, food consists of hamburgers, fries, and other similar items.[The Food and Drink]The food here is great. It mainly consists of American food like hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, etc - but it tastes good! Its decently fast too, especially how busy this spot gets. Its nice that you can actually watch the staff cooking the food as well. They also sell alcohol as well. There is a bar that is a little away from the food area that sells mixed drinks and beer. You can also buy food in the restaurant area.[The Location]The location here is great, right off of Alameda. Parking can be pretty difficult at times so be prepared for that. Otherwise, its a nice location in a little less traveled area of Menlo Park, mostly known to locals. Many people come here after their kids sports games or other school events. Plenty parties are hosted here as well as events.Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area and interested in the history of Menlo Park.

2021-12-23 19:42:05Food was pretty awesome and had a lot of flavor. I had a bacon burger and tried the brisket sliders. The atmosphere was great and there is tons of space and tvs to watch sports games. Theres a pool table and a couple games for kids and an outside bar. The food can take a bit of time which is why the 4 stars. I would definitely recommend.

2019-05-01 01:01:52The Tuna Melt was so good I started devouring it before I took a picture of it. So its only half a sandwich and an 805 Brand beer. Highly recommend this place. Trendy crowd. Family, business and sports fans welcome. Pool table and indoor / outdoor seating upstairs. Outdoor and indoor seating downstairs as well. .. One suggestion.. More seating needs to be available due to popularity. Its unfortunate to walk in to a completely full packed restaurant with no where to sit.Update:About half a year later, had a different beer, and same tuna melt.. INCREDIBLE! I enjoyed this visit with my Dad and it was great!!

2022-12-12 02:13:50This place is big, but dont expect any available tables, its also busy!!! You place your order first, its a self serve restaurant. The selection of food is large, and prices were good. There is an outdoor bar in the back and front. A great place to watch your favorite sports team play!!!
