My family and I had a great time eating at The Dust Bowl. The service from the staff was polite, efficient, and fast. The food & drinks were great, the food was well proportioned, with a great selection for childrens meals. Its wasnt too expensive for 3 adult meals, 1 childs pizza and 6 drinks were all under $150.00. They have a play yard for the kids during the day and at night for the adults. This is a great place to eat with your family, friends, or just to sit at the bar to meet people and have a great meal. I dont go out too often, but Id recommend this is definitely a 5 star casual place to go.

I’ve been here several times but it’s been a while. Meet up with a friend who had never been there before.Had the coconut shrimp, okie nachos and the grilled fish tacos. Everything was really good and the service was good too. I didn’t drink beer this time but I’ve had it before and they have a lot of options.Hung around at the beer garden, which I had never really been in before. It’s really nice, they have corn hole and lots of outdoor seating. It gets packed especially since the weather is getting good.

We had lunch here for the first time at the DBBC, and it was delicious! The restaurant and brewing Co. Is beautiful. The outdoor dining is huge and so nice! We will definitely recommend this Brewing Co to our friends and family. Staff was friendly, and we got our order fast.

Excellent food and perfect atmosphere for a Brew house. All the brews are very yummy. Our party of four all had burgers. I had linguisa burger. Super bomb if you’re a linguisa lover. PB n’ J burger is quite honestly the biggest culinary surprise I’ve had. I just couldn’t get enough so I ordered one to go.

This is a great place! I was in town for business. I thrilled to stop in. Great live music on a Thursday evening. The place was full, but not crowded. Plenty of space to hang out.Good TV’s at the bar. I came to watch NBA playoffs.Beer was fantastic! I didn’t have food.Many families here hanging out, playing gamesI‘ll be back and will recommend this place.The owners are doing it right.

Had a random late lunch after doing some costco shopping nearby. The beer was damn fresh!!!!Wife had the chili which she claims was one of the best she has ever had. I had a burger, went down well with their lager (forgot the name).The place was very welcoming, and can accomodate big parties, seemingly kid and pet friendly.

This place has average/decent food. The pizzas are okay. The cheese curd batter a little too sweet. But the price is pretty high for such mid food. Environment is nice but there are flies everywhere. The bar area has little fans to prevent them landing on drinks/food but none of the other tables do. Felt like I was constantly guarding my food from flies.

First, this place gets busy, I recommend reservations. The food was excellent. I always try something different when I come here. This trip I had the Jalapeno & Beer Cheese burger. They also have about 15 brews on tap, something for just about every taste. I highly recommend eating here, but expect it to pay $25-30 per person, depending on what you get of course.Update: no change. Still a great place to eat and/or hang out with friends and family. With 15 beers on tap I recommend getting a flight to try 5 different brews. If two of you get one and share, you can try ten.

Food was great as usual. Our server Mikayla (I think that’s how you spell it) was fantastic. But our table wasn’t set before we were seated so we didn’t have silverware or napkins well into the meals being served and I happened to order a salad. My side of the table has some spilled drink on it. This is probably only a big deal to me because I hate being sticky. I had most of my salad in my to go container and it was tossed out while we were at the register trying to get my ID back. Probably just an unfortunate sequence of events but it did happen.

Hailey our server was an absolute pleasure! Couldnt have asked for a better waitress. Food was extremely amazing! From the appetizers to the main course and even dessert! Dont hesitate to go here! What I gotFirst day! Cherry Kettle Sour with a Fifty fifty burger and garlic fries. If youre a fan of sours this is an absolute must have. Perfect balance of bitterness and tart, super smooth and refreshing! I ordered the burger medium and cooked to perfection. Juicy burger all the way around and mouthwatering. Pickle spear on the side, you just cant go wrong! Dont get me started on the garlic fries....they were to die for! Right amount of crisp and loaded with minced garlic. Amazing!!!Second day! The Gold 1 with a meat lovers pizza and buffalo wings. I rate this beer a solid 4.75 on Untappd. One of the best tasting blonde ales Ive had in a long time. Crisp and smooth! The wings were great as well. Just the right amount of buffalo sauce and cooked just right. Crisp crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, didnt even touch the ranch for these wings! The meat lovers pizza is made you just got to try! Highly recommended this place to everyone!

Really great restaurant to come to with friends for any meal! The food options are plentiful, all really tasty, and the portions are huge. The beers are phenomenal and the variety is massive and the customer service of their staff is immaculate! Theres a bier garden area thats great to enjoy the nice weather and has some games outside and its beautifully lit in the evening. Been here thrice now, and will keep coming back!

This is my second time coming here. The Poke nachos and squeakers are really good. Punchbowl is one of my favorite beers here! They also have backyard games on the lawn and its great place to hang out with friends,family, and kids.

Oh wow this was good! We had a great culinary experience here at Dust Bowl! We started out with a beer sampler. We were able to pick the beers that we wanted to try from the menu and they were all very delicious. I had the Classic Burger with Fries and my wife had Fish and Chips which has generous portions of meat! We were both happy with our selections! I ended up ordering a full size Mangonada Smoothie that was a part of our sampler. The service here is awesome and the restaurant tap room has great vibes! We haven’t been here in three years and decided it was time to come back. I recommend this place to everyone!

If you are on the 99 or even on the I-5 this is a must stop even if its a little out of the way from the I-5. Great in-house beers and very delicious food. You will love the scenery in the atmosphere of the property. I would suggest trying their burgers or their Pizza. The chicken artichoke Pizza is amazing. And their burgers are delicious pick any one. Very nice service and a comfortable place to have a beer with great food.

Dust bowl is an easy stop off of highway 99! Every visit has been a pleasant one—food being excellent and beer being thirst-quenching! The menu changes and rotates so the food experience is always new and delicious. Plenty of spacing and dog friendly! Every other time there has been a really good experience. This time was awful but only due to the seating hostes. I had a reservation for 4:45 on 5/18. There were at least 12 open tables. I waited until after 5 PM watching others come and go. We asked of we could sit at the tables outside and if we could order the same food. Her response was So do you want to give up your reservation? Another in my asked asked if we could order the same items outside. She said yes now do you want to give up your reservation. We said ok and went out. We could not order the same food as inside and we came back to ask for a table. She did let us make another reservation but we had to wait another half hour. We dis get seated a lit5 before 6 PM. The rest of the time was great but it left a really bad taste in everyones mind about Dust bowl. I did say normally they are pretty good. That hostesses being purposefully wicked.

Really cool place. Love the feel. The open space is really great, feels free and happy like a kid. Kids were playing tag and catch. Parents could sit and enjoy their food and drinks. Unfortunately, they forgot my salad dressing and the bacon on my burger but the tender walking by did turn on the heater for us. Will try it again, hopefully, soon! Its the experience and atmosphere that makes Dust Bowl Brewing stand out from other breweries. They have set the precedence of what a brewery atmosphere should entail. The whole 30,000 ft brewing plant and taproom is stunning. With expansive window views into the brewing and packing area, as well as a large patio and beer garden. The spacious outdoor area has comfortable couch vignettes, picnic tables, lounge chairs and plenty of bar games. The beer was the initial draw to this brewery. We tried a little of everything and were pleased with the samples. The food was good, but the beer is better. Personally, I felt the food lacked flavor. This is a fabulous date spot. Grab a cold beer at the bar or on the patio. Or start the date off with a friendly game of corn hole/giant size Jenga/ life-size Connect Four/Bocce and a beer. The young women that work at the dustbowl are beyond rude. Every time I go, it’s the same thing. And last night, they were the same as always, rude.And the food is barely edible. Used to be better. And then when they mess up on your order, it’s a very long time before it’s replaced.

Well if your looking for a pub like setting and a place that allows your family of all ages this is the place for you!!! Dust bowl has a nice variety of food on the menu to choose from. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers and appetizers which mine are the sqeekers. Plus the beverage selection is super good. This is a brewery yes you read that correct a brewery. Although with covid 1 of my favorites meals are no longer there which is the Turkey burger with feta cheese and with pesto sauce. I settled for the trip tip sandwich this day with garlic fries. The staff here was super friendly and efficient. This is 100 percent the place to go.

Very cool and spacious place located right off the freeway in Turlock. Went here for a cornhole tournament, so I didnt try any of the food or beers. But for atmosphere, this place is really nice. Big windows and even a view of the brewery through glass. A really clean outdoor area and nice outdoor seating for the restaurant. Staff seemed a little busy and rushed, but it was very crowded.

First visit to Dust Bowl and we had a great time. We ordered 2 flights and tried the Squeakers and the Carne Asada Fries.My favorite beer was Therapist Imperial IPA. The Squeakers are made from Hilmar Cheese so you KNOW those are amazing. The Carne Asada Fries were also very good. Service and knowledge of the beers was excellent! Dust Bowl is a great stop in the Central Valley! I go to school at UC Merced and we decided to finally stop by a bit ago, Im sad I hadnt gone earlier! Fantastic stop. Tried a sampler of five beers, 4 oz. each. Favorites were Taco Truck lager, Therapist 3IPA, and Kash Crop Berry blonde ale. We had the pulled pork sandwich with garlic fries, and the Jalapeño beer cheese burger (on a pretzel bun!) with a side of mac n cheese. The fried jalapeños dipped in beer cheese alone were worth it! Large outdoor space that is great for groups. Manager and staff were super friendly. Even made some friends in line.

I love the beer the food and the employees are great. But the beer garden service and menu confusion is absolutely terrible. We were in around 630 and had access to the full menu. Ordered appetizers and as soon as we went back for more beer and order dinner the menu changed with no notice. This has been a problem for nearly 8 months and it’s been a serious headache. To the point of finding a new place to hang out. I’m hoping the management sees this and makes some serious changes.

I love how spacious it is (although a bit loud with the echo but its probably great for bringing kids and for groups, as a result). Honestly the whole vibe outside in the quad picnic area is so fun and friendly. Theres always kids everywhere. You can tell its a place for family and friends. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know. Also the beers and ipas, sours are all really good! However th food can take a little too long. I went once on fathers day, but it was a holiday so we didnt pressure to much. But on Sunday we waited like 45 mins for wings a burger ..

The atmosphere is definitely 5 stars! Great space for kids and groups. Lots of seating options and choice of seating. The service was mixed. We received the wrong food order, which was unfortunate. The food was dry, and lukewarm. Flavor was adequate. We were not given utensils and when we asked it seemed to be an inconvenience. We were also not given napkins. Perhaps because the food is dry and we wouldnt need them. We did have little containers of condiments as well. The chili was good, so was the clam chowder. Everyone seemed to like the beer and beer selection as well. Our friend got the pizza, it looked like the best thing at the table.

My husbands favorite - wed go all the time if we were local, but we just make a point of going whenever we visit our daughter at UC Merced. Pretty much always share a flight of beers - its so fun to try new flavors, and we usually end up getting a few six packs to take home. Weve had most of the salads, all of which were large and filling, but tonight I had the brisket burger for the first time, and it was so perfectly delicious, I think Im going to have to get it every time. The beer is great, but the service is just weird. I stopped by Dust Bowl on a Monday evening to grab a quick beer. The place was dead, but I was told I would have to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. The nacho fries had a cool twist with having thick cut curly fries instead of regular which I thought was cool. Tons of beer and ciders. No hard liquor but its a brewery so thats a obvious. What was once a great place to go has sadly gone downhill over the past year. They claim its due to not having enough staff. But if you are the only brewery in town then you know damn well thur-sat nights will be the BUSIEST nights if the week from spring thru fall. So this seems more of a mismanagement issue vs a staffing one. The food has also taken a downward turn recently as well. The last 3 times I have come I have left disappointed. Not sure I will head back anytime soon.

I was invited to this establishment last night for a special Birthday Dinner for my Nieces 40th. A reservation was put in a week ago. When we got there they didn’t even have a reservation for us. We had to wait. When they gave us tables for our 10 guest, they separated everyone. 😠😠😡🤬 mistake number#1After we put in our order for drinks and appetizers which seemed like forever because we had already waited for our reserved table, waiter comes over with an overload unsafe trey and either tripped, slipped or fell and dumped everything on my Nieces futhure in-laws! I was mortified beyond words. That was it for me! I left! I won’t be back. My poor nieces birthday was ruined. What happens after that not sure. Like I said, I left. I was excited to try this place since we dont come to Turlock very often. My husband enjoys their beer. We checked in and were told it would be about 30 minutes. Got a text in about 20 minutes saying our table was ready. Go to the front to find out their system just went down. They are unable to seat us and dont know how long its going to take. We decided to wait for a bit. Another 40 minutes, we were starving. Decided to leave. So disappointed. Its too bad they are unable to run this place if the system goes down. Hard to believe a place this size can consistently have a wait, but youll understand when you enjoy the wide range of beers, stylish and tasty food, and the expansive childrens play area with life-size connect 4 and baggo. You can sit on the enclosed patio, with the huge roll-up door, and watch your kids in the yard. I especially enjoyed that they have a number of lagers and lighter beers on tap, not just all Imperial Quintuple IPAs. Servers place orders on iPads, and everything was quick, especially considering the size. Also, they have pea ice (like Sonic) which is one of my favorites. They do events as well, there was a rehearsal dinner going on that seemed to be having a great time. Would go back any time.

Went for the first time yesterday (10/16/21).Red flags began before getting seated. We left our phone # so they could text us when a table was ready. It was a Saturday night so wait time was estimated for 1 hour, nothing unusual there. After 15 minutes or so we got a text saying table was ready. Once you get your food, waitress doesn’t come back for nothing. Random waiters come and bring you food, no problem there. I got the classics burger with Mac n cheese, no spoon was given to me and gentleman who brought my food didn’t give me any time to ask him for one.My sister ordered a dessert but they forgot it and just brought us our check. A couple flies there too, a little annoying. Food is delicious, but service makes it hard to ask for napkins, utensils, and refills. Makes it hard to enjoy, will try again on a weekday and see if experience is any better. If this review is still up, experience was bad on 2nd try too.

Fantastic place to have a cheap lunch/dinner and a few brews. For $12, you can get a flight/taster of five of their beers they have on tap that day, and you really cant go wrong there. For $22, you can get a 64 oz. growler of ANY of their beers, even including the high ABV content ones that are usually overpriced at different locations. I live in Washington state and each time I came to visit my cousins this was a “must eat/drink” place. That was for about 3 years. I’m sorry to say the quality in food and service has plummeted. The hosts are not welcoming and they make you feel as if they’re doing you a favor. Even if you have a reservation. The waiters are okay but not friendly. At my recent visit my cousin ordered a seltzer that was probably the most disgusting seltzer I’ve ever tasted. My cousin took 2 sips of it, if that. When we told our waiter she told us she would take care of it. However when we got the bill the $7 seltzer was on it. And when we asked our waiter of it, she said it was a final sale item and nothing would be done. When she retrieved the seltzer to begin with, she never mentioned this part. Instead mentioned it would be taken care of. Being charged for a drink that was not consumed, is not “taking care of it”. If we would have drank a quarter of it and then charged $7, I would have understood. However this was not the case. Beware of the nasty beer/seltzer and being charged for it.I will also include that the nachos quality have declined rapidly. Taco Bell nachos are better. The chips were stale, the cheese tasted like canned cheese, the beans tasted old. In fact the entire appetizer tasted luke warm and below average.Then the burgers came. The fries were soggy, cold and overly salted.Besides all the errors mentioned above-Service was incredibly slowWe only got 2 / 3 waters we orderedOverall, the food is Applebees quality. I would not return for all the concerns mentioned above and then some more.

Today I went to dust bowl brewing in Turlock ca and I lost AirPods there unfortunately I noticed it when I was almost home I went back to look for it, I asked the all the girl and guys that was in the front desk that I was there a little while ago and I lost my AirPods I asked if they found it or someone did found and returned it to them and asked also if I could take a look where I was sitting and at the bathroom they told yes so I did they told me no ma’am we didn’t found it and no one turned nothing in but I turned in the app find my phone and it says my AirPods was there I was with my daughter in law on the phone and every time that I was inside the dust bowl brewing my call went directly to the AirPods and I show them and they all said oh well ma’am there’s nothing we can do to help you but my daughter in law was listening to them talking it’s so wired that so big place and have so many unprofessional people working in it they are very rude and show in your face they careless for you I’ll never go back there and also tell all my friends and family to neve go in certain place like that with people that don’t care for the customers.

On top of that, you dont have a server and have to walk inside to order your food at the bar. Everyone was on one tab without any other options, and an automatic tip was added. A tip for what? Bad customer service, having no server and having to walk past empty tables inside to just to get a refill?? Terrible experience. Being understaffed is one thing, but making customers sit outside in the cold when there was plenty of seating inside is just ridiculous.

Tried to contact them about getting a keg for my wedding. Through email we were told that they have kegs for sale and that we should call the taproom to see what they have available. Once I called the taproom I told them that I have a wedding in a couple of weeks and I was wondering what kegs they have for purchase. Then the lady on the phone said are you ordering for here or for pickup? so I said pickup. Then I explained myself again and asked again what beer they had in kegs for purchase and then the lady said we dont do that.So I am not sure if the person we emailed was just lying about having kegs for purchase, or if the lady on the phone just has no idea what her company has to offer or didnt want to deal with a customer at that point.

I am giving only a 1 star review based on the terrible service. The food and drinks are good. The setting is also really cool and inviting, but the servers are awful. Perhaps they have too much expectations on them, but they often do not check on us and dont correct orders. My daughter ordered a taco salad and it clearly states that it comes with avocado. It was given without it and when we asked for it, there was an extra charge on the bill. Poor service!

The prices are also great and fit the atmosphere, which is laid back and relaxed. The food is great! I had the ahi poke nachos for lunch and it was wonderful. I wish I could have ate the whole thing, but it was large! Its meant to be a appetizer. They have entertainment for the kids and dogs are allowed. The bathrooms are clean and dont smell. There is a wait to get your food, however the entertainment keeps you busy until the food arrives. Beautiful place with lots of unique concepts in both the design of the space and the open space for dogs and kids to play. Service was excellent with our food arriving at a reasonable time, considering they are always very busy. One of our orders came with fries instead of a salad and within seconds of leaving they came right back out with the side salad meant to be there. Ive read reviews about poor service and a lot of it lays on people not making reservations. For us, we called in advance and were seated before our set time.

Dirty 30s (pale ale) and Hops of Wrath (IPA) were excellent although Peace, Love & Haze, Todays Hazy, and Tomorrows Clear were all solid. Really one of the best flights I have had in a while. All the burgers had the option to substitute a vegetarian black bean patty or beyond burger, which makes it straightforward to find dinner options here as a vegetarian (there did not appear to be any vegan menu options though). I think there was a vegetarian appetizer option or two as well.

I happen to drive by this brewery and decided to bring my wife for lunch the next day. I had their beer before and liked it, so I was wanting to visit this brewery. We just showed up, no reservations, even though the website suggested reservations, and we were told inside seating was about a 2 hour wait, but we could be seated outside right away. We decided to sit outside even though it was 105 deg. outside that day. Believe it or not, it was quite comfortable. They have huge fans that keep the air moving, which was nice. Our waitress, Casandra, was super nice and helpful. We were waited on very quickly and we received our order very quickly. We were planning on having the ahi poke and a sandwich, but after eating the HUGE order of poke, and drinking a couple flights of beer, we decided we were full. The bill was only $30. The poke was AWESOME!!! And of course the beers were great. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be returning to try more food and beer. Heads up though, if you want to sit inside, MAKE RESERVATIONS!

Love the beer at this place. Been there twice. Once about 4 years ago and once again this evening on a trip back from Fresno. The lack of the fifth star is for the pizza. Good, not great. The staff is super and attentive. I think this is really the only place to go in Turlock. Will stop by again

I love the Ahi salad, and the food in general is not bad. Service is a little slow and distracted, so not the kind of place to get in and out quickly. I am not a beer person but thankfully they do have some decent wine by the glass. Unfortunately their new dog policy is not so great because you have to sit way out in the back, so now we leave them in the car. Atmosphere is a little noisy as you might expect sitting inside a warehouse type environment

This place is beautiful! The food is good and the beer is great! As a customer service expert, the service here could use some help. I couldnt in my right mind give this place less than 4 stars solely because of the quality of the food and beer. A piece of advice, unless you like waiting, plan ahead because you cant just walk in. Those who make reservations get the seats first.

Went yesterday, had a family of 8 and they wouldnt let us sit inside. Like ok? But a family of seven with a baby and their pet dogs are welcome inside? Then two different menus? And they wouldnt let me order inside because I was sitting outside? The food was amazing but the policy and service was not.

Vegan review:The main option for vegans is a burger with a substitute Beyond patty (or black bean burger but who does that?) and a vegan bun. Also make sure to request no cheese and no Dust Bowl sauce (thousand island dressing).Thats pretty much the only vegan food one could ask for based on the menu, all other options would need to be negotiated with your waiter and I hate to be That Vegan, so -1 star.Outdoor seating late in the pandemic is nice and airy, and the beer & hard seltzer on tap are varied in style with a bias toward the lighter/hoppier end of the spectrum (their only stout tastes a lot like a Guinness.)

Eaten here on several occasions, and most recently for a 21st Birthday celebration dinner. Previously, great ambiance, attentive and friendly staff. This time, impatient hostess, inattentive waiter, and black flies everywhere! Had to move to another table away from door, but that did not help. We covered food plates with napkins between bites. Go in late fall, winter or spring when theres no flies!

I dont like their fries and they should start serving mixed drinks! The wine I ordered was the equivalent of maybe only and inch and a half to 2 inches. It wasnt even a half of glass!! Wow...I did love the large spaces and outdoor patio.

Good food, great beer. I like the pizza here also the California Line beer. If your not sure on what beer to order just ask for a sampler first.The service is to be expected slow at times. Seriously all of the food is Really Really Good, Very Delicious!!Try the Beer Samplers... Beautiful place to sit outdoors and eat. Great food and music, and they have a giant fan to help keep you cool in this heat! The beer garden is gorgeous, AND! THEY ARE DOG FRIENDLY! Take your dog and there are even food options for them! Make sure you bring along your smartphone though, as their menus are QR codes youll scan and then view the menu on your phone. I highly recommend!

Most inefficiently run place for being brand new. For all the space this place has, there is very little seating inside. The outdoor seating is nice but forget sitting outside during the winter, the heaters are 20 feet high and you dont feel them at all. The service is spotty at best too. I was very excited when they were talking about expanding but this needs a lot of work.

Flies, Flies, Flies!!! They were everywhere! All over us, our food, our drinks, the restroom! It was the worst experience. We had friends with us from Texas, so embarrassing. So how did they keep them out of the kitchen? Yuck! The food is great, but not worth the flies. Dust Bowl you need to do something about this serious problem...

We came here a few times before and always loved it. A big reason we loved it so much (beside the great food and beer) is because they were dog friendly and we were able to sit outside with them. We made reservations on my mothers birthday, which is on St. Patricks Day. I understand that would be a very busy day anyways but we made these reservations Well in advance and made it clear as always that we have 2 dogs with us. So we get there and are told that they are No longer dog friendly and that the only area we could eat was a picnic are that only served beer and hot dogs, their other suggestion was to leave our horribly needy dogs in the car. Now I dont know if this was some half-assed excuse to make room for heavier drinkers, I understand it is a terribly busy day for them. But they should have sent some noticed when the policy changed. This nearly ruined my moms birthday and we ran around for an hour trying to find another suitable place to eat, nearly having to settle for fast food. Luckily we came across another great place that was dog friendly and had a great birthday meal. I hope this was some kind of misunderstanding, or that the waitress was new and didnt know what to do. But it really bothered me how they handled this with us and if its true they no longer allow dogs for now on, then I wont be coming back. Its a real shame cause its a great place.

The wait time here is awful. They have a beautiful, brand new building with plenty of space for more seating, and they dont use it. What seating they do have is always reserved. Ive waited for a table for nearly 2 hours, and once seated waited another 45 minutes for food that was served cold. The service is garbage. Waiters/bartenders were rude and acted like they hated their job. Ive been here 3 times (each during a different time and/or day of the week), each time hoping my experience would be better. Ive seen the seating hosts turn away so much business for the company due to reservations that dont show, or show up late. Hopefully management can come up with some solutions for such a poorly ran business.

It was lovely. It rained that night. We sat in the garage. The birds chirped. The fans kept us warm. The rains blew against the ceiling high retractable doors. The sample platter of beers were wide ranging and all superb. The fries are excellent. And I whole heartedly recommend the PB & J Burger. Get the recommended beer listed on the menu to accompany it also. The Bahn Mi Burger is delicious also. Clean. Very helpful staff. Well verse in what they serve. Happy people. Happy environment. The food is good just like their downtown location.That being said theyre constantly changing their reservation/call ahead policy.Certainly not accommodating.Im writing this review based on my last negative experience from a store manager. My party of 10 were put outside, while it was pouring rain, all of us being cold, I asked a group of three waiters/waitresses if we could move a couple of the outdoor heaters close to our table, they politely responded yes.I moved one, and then proceeded to move a second when a manager came outside and yelled at me, moving the heater back away from us and telling me we cant move them, even though I had just been given permission and when I tried to explain that to him he wouldnt even let me get a word in. Really put my family off.We were never apologized to. Really gave us the impression that they believe theyre the hottest gig in town and dont need our business. So they wont get it!We wont be returning. Well stick with the downtown location.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered a margherita pizza and it was not what I expected. Dollops of fresh mozzarella dropped on pizza barely covered any of the pizza. They did take off half of the price. The hamburger and fries are great. Service was also great.

Came here for the first time a couple weeks ago at opening time on a Thursday. Our servers name was Dollan I think (bad with names), she was absolutely fantastic and accommodating. Will request a table served by her when we come back. I ordered a 50/50 burger and at first it looked on the small side but it is super filling and delicious, couldnt even come close to finishing my fries (also delicious) afterwards. My husband ordered a custom pizza that he loved and gorged on the rest when we got home. Honestly one of those could feed two people in my opinion. He also had a few beers and loved them all. Will come again for sure.

I do like the place, the beer is good, the food is good. But they take reservations from the moment they open and if you dont have a reservation, you are not getting a table, but those tables will remain empty the entire time you are there with their little reserved signs. Thats just horrible customer service. I get that its the fanciest place in Turlock, but its a PUB, not fine dining, they serve pub food. Will try again in a year, see if they change anything.

Huge place, an excellent choice of in-house beers and great burgers. It helped that they sourced their beef from Harris Ranch, which is excellent in itself. Oh, and the bacon helped! In all, Dust Bowl is worth traveling to, as we did, for something different.

Great beer to try out! California line with a hint of vanilla is really good. Never tasted a beer like that before. Food is very subpar not impressed highly let down. Way too much hype.. find it odd that this place is so busy you need to reserve a table. Just not there for me. Beer choices are great tho and that is only reason to like this place for me.

1st time was great. Really good food and drinks. This time..... 1st we were told would be 5 mins to clean some tables. I did notice a couple of clean tables. When we got seated we were seated at one of the tables thats was already clean. Food was really good again but customer service not.I what to try the pizza next time. Dont order online for curbside pickup. I was hungry and craving good food tonight, so I called in and was told all pickup orders had to be placed online. My roommate was headed through the area on his way home from work and I verified he could pick up for me and placed my order online. He got there round the time the order was supposed to be ready, parked in the curbside area and called as instructed. He gave both names as even I was unsure which name it would be under. Online ordering prompted me to enter pickup name, and I put his, but emailed receipt was under mine. He was told they were still working on it, and they would bring it out as soon as it was ready, though it seems it was ready at this time and they didnt check both names. 15 mins later he calls back, gives only his name and is again told they are working on it and it will be brought out when done. He assumes the order is under his name at this point as they have affirmed an order will be brought out soon. Another 15 mins and he is told they are boxing it up. This is clearly a lie as there are no orders under his name. No other curbside pickup orders for the rest of the time he is there. He calls again at the 45 minute mark and is assured his order is being boxed up and will be right out. At this point they probably arent even looking. 1 hour in and exasperated, he goes inside where they finally admit theres no order being worked on, he asks if theres one under my name. Oh yeah, weve been wondering about that one for an hour. The food here is usually great, but after the drive home, stone cold and microwave reheated, its absolute garbage. It doesnt taste any better coming back up. I shouldnt have eaten something that sat out that long, but I was famished and two hours after eating Im pretty sure Ive got food poisoning. I tried calling the store to complain, but 20 rings and the line went dead, they arent even putting people on hold, just ignoring phones. Ive never had such a poor experience in my entire life. The worst part is knowing how good it should have been.

Both the beers and the food was excellent.Our server, Ali, was absolutely fantastic too. The wait was a bit longer for a table than most places in the area, however it was well worth it. The nice thing is there are plenty of things to do while you wait for a table (they utilize an sms system to let you know when your table is ready). From the giant jenna and connect four to bocce ball and corn hole this ace reminds me of a dust bowl version of Stone Brewery (Escondido location). Definitely coming here again when were back in the area.

Beer and food is great! The service is HORRIBLE... Not sure if we will go back, unfortunately... Waitress was rude, the manager was a snooty prick. We have been to both locations and they both have horrible service. They should have more staff and maybe two managers on sight when that busy. We were there for literally 3 hours and spent over 300$ on our check. Filled 3 growlers and they kegs were empty??? Its a brewery for heavens sake! Then they wanted to charge me 9$ for a sampler while we waited for our growlers? RIDICULOUS! 👎

Courtney was very rude to us and wasn’t even our waitess. She talked about me and my guest with another server within earshot of us and was very unprofessional. Jessica, however was an exceptional waitress, the best we’ve had at this location. She is very personable and a treasure for the Fulkerth location. 5 stars ONLY because Jessica was great and the food was good.

This company has dealt with all the changes thrown at them it the best way possible.Everytime we go back(drive from out of town) their responses have been on point. You feel comfortable,safe in the environment. As of today(9/21,)they are take out only because of the smoke. The employees are still friendly,patient and very helpful.

Consistently excellent beer, with good food and atmosphere. Can be very crowded on Friday nights and weekends and the amount of reservations they book make it hard to decide to go last minute. My wife and I tried to go at 4pm on a Saturday and was told we would not be seated until 9pm because of reservations, plan accordingly.
