I did my bench prep course at the Duggan Institute and had the best experience. Dr Duggan is an excellent teacher and explains things in a way that you cant forget them.I greatly appreciate having Meghan and Tim at the institute. They made sure everyone felt welcomed and had the best time. I will miss the talks and amazing friends I made at the institute.

The lectures are great, the staff is amazing and you will love the place!!! I got the best experience ever. Dr.Duggan is really great teacher. You will learn a lot from him. I highly recommend this course. The Duggan institute is the best place ever that can prepare you perfectly not only for your bench exam but for your whole career life. I took many courses, I can confidently say that Dr Duggan is a professional and excellent teacher. He knows how to make your hand skills rock. After the 10 day course, I felt very confident and for the first time a real dentist with refined hand skills. His lectures and demos are well demonstrated. The staff was very helpful. I went to Duggan Institute after been out of dental school for 7 years, with zero experience in the dental field and scared that I couldnt get anything out of the training. After the first day I was delighted to find out that Dr. Duggan didnt expect for me to know anything, he took off the training with baby steps. Every day he started with detailed explanation of what I needed to do, followed by demonstration of how to do it. I have to say that at the end of the training, I was impress of myself. Two weeks later I took my bench test and go accepted into Loma Linda, my dream school! If you are at the level where I was and really want to improve yourself then Dr. Duggan training is worth every penny you put into it. Good luck fellows Docs!

The class was exactly the college course that I was looking for. I admit that I first took the class to review my background knowledge, but within the first couple of days I considered it as one of my favorite courses ever. Dr. Duggans lectures were always so well organized and easy to learn. I greatly enjoyed learning many details and skills which increased my self confidence as well. I could practice what Ive learned over and over on the Typodonts to raise my hand skills. The environment was positive and comfortable for us and the stuff were friendly and ready to help. I was really wondering if it is mandatory to attend the course even after practicing dentistry for few years in home country. I realized the benefits of the course only after attending it. I took the Supplemental FRT course last year, i gained a lot of knowledge on what is ideal, how to reach the requirements and more than any thing a great ability to evaluate my own work and correct my mistakes skillfully. Dr Duggan is an amazing teacher his lectures and demonstrations were detailed, even tough Dr Muaz monitored the work each and every step he followed was same as Dr Duggan. The program and the teams continues support even after the course has definitely improved my hand skills that can help me excel in Dentistry even in future.

I went for the 10 day FRT course in August 2015. Dr. Duggan and his staff are really helpful. I was in a batch with 6 students so we were lucky to have all the attention by Dr. Duggan. Hes very patient in letting you know about your mistakes and how to correct them. I think he showed me the same things multiple times. I would suggest you all to devote your time to practice at the institute after the course. Bench test is really critical to your acceptance. Meghan is really nice and caring. She was a great support when I was feeling overwhelmed by the admission process. Dr. Duggans teaching assistant Muazz was also very helpful.You wont regret joining the course. And they will really try to keep you motivated towards your goal.Experience at Duggan Institute will also help you in school after you get accepted.

Amazing course, I really like the environment there, great positive energy and the staff are amazing make you feel home. Dr.Duggan is an amazing teacher, his classes and demonstrations are spectacular no question about it, the way he teach make you think outside the box, his methods are so simple to learn as long you are doing it step by step. Dr.Duggan remind me of Bob Ross an amazing painter (joy of painting show) made dentistry simple and joyful. Highly recommend the course.

I took FRT 12 days course at DID and I definitely recommend it.Dr Duggan is a great teacher. He loves to share his knowledge and truly wants his students to shine.Though he is very demanding in his grading, he helps you to learn how to critique your own preps and recognize your mistakes. It is very intensive course, and it helps you to discipline yourself to work in the same manner after you leave DID. At DID you will get advice how to improve your preps, but you will master them if you keep on practicing afterwards. Another important thing is interview process. Meghan can give you great advice and insights about different school programs and interview skills.The best part of the course are friends and colleagues that you will meet there. They are great support in a whole process.This course is worth every penny spent. I have got my acceptance this year, and Dr Duggan helped me a lot.

The best place to learn practical dentistry.. people often confuse Dr Duggan’s course as a course to help dental students pass the bench test, where in fact it helps dentists become better in every aspect of dentistry. Months before my dental school interview, I took the class with Dr. Duggan to help better prepare my bench exam. I was recommended by the coordinator, who is actually in charge of recruiting candidates for the advanced standing program for international dentists. After taking the course, I highly recommend any advanced standing program candidates to take this class at the Duggan dental institution.Their classes were very structured to cover fundamental restorative techniques that I utilized on my bench exam as well as my daily practice. Dr. Duggan gave plenty attention and one-to-one evaluation on each one of the students’ works. Also, he showed me how to correct my own works to overcome my old habits. Basically, I learned how to do my preps in “American way” correctly and more efficiently. In addition, I have learned how to evaluate my own work each time, and I believe this is the most essential skill that I have gained over the course. After starting my dental journey here in one of famous U.S. dental schools, I utilize the same techniques that I learned from Dr. Duggan every day.I want o express my gratitude to Dr. Duggan for being a great mentor and helping me to achieve my goal of getting accepted by U.S. dental school and special thanks to Meghan and Muaz for their hard works and valuable advices on the preparation of my dental school interview and bench test. I was aware of the 12 day Fundamental Restorative Techniques provided at the Duggan Institute since a couple of years but, was worried about the tuition of the course. One of my friends had recently attended the course and strongly recommended it to me promising that the skills and knowledge we gain in the course are far beyond the price and that they would remain with us throughout our dental careers.The lectures by Dr.Duggan were very informative explaining how to do each and every step involved in the preparations. His one on one supervision in the practice area at the work stations was especially very helpful. I could see a great progress in my own work every single day. And, the review class by Dr.Mauzz was absolutely amazing. Even though I am not doing ideal preparations immediately by the end of the course, which is a very short duration, I feel confident about evaluating my preparations to see what’s wrong and I also know how to do it the right way.On a whole, I strongly believe that I have learned dentistry that I would have not been able to or taken a very long time if I were to learn independently in a very short amount of time and I could not ask for more. And now, I truly agree with my friend that the knowledge and skills I have gained will stay with me for the rest of my dental career.Thanks to Dr.Duggan and Dr.Mauzz for the lectures, demonstrations, one on one supervision in the practice area and not to forget the home-cooked food provided during the course!!

I attended Duggan Institute in July 2016 and was the wise decision to attend it as it made me to understand ideal tooth preps and practice them. Dr. Duggan is an excellent teacher. He teaches considering students perspective and therefore he finds the difficulties that most students face and tailors his teaching to benefit the students in a comprehensive way. He is patient with his students and focuses on their understanding of the concepts by challenging their minds with questions on important concepts. Absolutely loved it. The techniques and skills taught wont only help during the Bench test but also stay with me throughout my dental career. I highly recommend foreign- trained dentists to register class at Dr. Duggan’s Institute for preparing your Bench test when you apply for your dental school for three reasons.1- Coming to this class, I was taught not only practice but also all difficulties as we met during clinical dental treatment. For example, Prof. Duggan explained clearly how to treat patients dentin genesis Imperfecta by doing diagnosis early and doing complete denture for patients when they were young, relined for each six months and patients should have follow-up exams throughout their life. Another case is a tooth with largely damage crown, we can do gold crown ¾ with partially facial composite if the tooth has a defect on facial surface in order to save tooth structure than doing ceramic crown.2- Two-week working hard trained us all kinds of Fundamental clinical techniques for practicing test and made sure all students achieved them. We don’t think some centers can train these skills in several days or one week because we were explained and understood clearly step by step before practicing. At the beginning of practice, Prof. Duggan did demonstrate and were ready to stop and answer any challenges that we met during practicing after that and we had to finish assignments at the end of the day. It’s so strict.3- We love the atmosphere there because we are a unique family including all Duggan’s staff, students and Professor as well. We are pleasant to share difficulties, to exchange experiences and to learn each others. Above all we were took care both mentally and physically; for instance, all kinds of food and beverage were prepared from early morning for breakfast. Because we were nourished well so sometimes we could work late until 8PM.We are proud to say that we had a hard- working days at Dr. Duggan Institute and it was a wonderful days fulfilled of inspired days with joy and happiness that we can’t forget because we overcome all challenges of practicing.We appreciate Dr. Duggan Institute and we hope this comment helps other foreign dentists who will have these great experience to prepare well for practice tests of their dental schools like we have.

Duggans Institute of Dentistry is the place to be if you want to be a fine dentist. I enrolled in their Fundamental Restorative Techniques (FRT) course back in April 2015 and my experience was spectacular, they are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and you feel like its home because of the way they treat you. Dr Duggan is an artistic dentist, the ways he use to explain and perform dental preps is so logical and easy to grasp. Meghan, Moaz and Zack are the corner stones that help students get through the tough times we all have in the process of applying to International Dental Program. I took FRT 12 day course at Duggans. Dr. Duggan has tremendous knowledge and patience to get the best out of the students. The basics and fundamentals in operative dentistry taught during the course really helps you in practicing once you step out of the class. One should know the basics in order to be a good dentist or to have good hand work. Dr. Duggan makes sure you get this level of knowledge deeply rooted. I attended Dr. Duggans 12-day course in Fundamentals of Restorative Dentistry and I firmly believe that it is one of the best decisions I have made. Dr Duggans teaching style consists of theory classes which are followed by hands-on practice session. During the hands-on session, Dr Duggan preaches perfection by individually observing, critiquing and rectifying each students work. By the end of the course, each student learns to critic his own work and hence attains perfection. Dr Mauz and Zack were always there to help and assist us throughout the duration of the course. Meghans interview session on the final day was really helpful to prepare for dental school applications and interviews. Being an international dentist looking to pursue a DDS in the US, I strongly believe that this course has brought about a fundamental change in the way I perceive and practice dentistry. I attended Dr Duggan 12 day supplemental course on May 2016. That was one of the finest courses I have ever taken in my life. Dr Duggan is an amazing instructor and teacher. His explanations are so clear and they helped me to see the whole concepts easily in the short period. Moreover, he is awesome practically in hands on teaching. As I am one of the students for supplemental course, I had a chance to learn hands on concepts from his assistant instructor, Dr Muazz, also a great teaching to whom I can ask any questions to clear doubts and problems. I attended the 12 days Fundamental Restorative Techniques course at Duggan Institute of Dentistry. I believe that I made a very good decision to do this course. This program is not just to clear the bench exams for dental schools but it gives an in depth training on the basics of dentistry practiced in the US. This course comprises of detailed lectures that give a deep understanding of the various procedures followed by practical demonstration, practice session and mock exam. The whole team is very professional and always ready to help students with anything they may need during the course and also after the course. After looking for a few alternate resources, to prepare for the hand skills assessment exam, I finally considered what many students (who have already been to DID) suggested. It was not until I employed the time tested and time saving techniques of Dr. Duggan, that I started seeing a clear difference in my work. He has not left any gray area in the fundamental restorative techniques, hence with a little practice and observance anyone can have excellence in the required skills.

Dr. Duggan and Dr. Zendaki both work hard to train you. They are very hands on which I feel is important. For someone that didn’t feel confident entering into the dental field. They take you step by step show you where to look and prep. Tim was also especially helpful! He made sure our orders were straight and when my dental equipment got stolen before the wreb. If I want to be honest Duggan institute was the first place that I learnt there how I could have a good preparation plus proper position, Dr Duggan and his professional assistant Dr Maaz taught me as a leftie every single basic of restorative science, more than academic environment which I faced there nice and warm staff of there gave me lots of hope and I learnt that I did not have to give up never in my life. I would very highly recommend Dr. Duggans 12 day FRT course. It is a very intensive course and I learnt a lot. Dr. Duggan is a great teacher, he explains everything in detail so you know what you are doing and why you are doing. Dr. Muazz is very helpful too, he is very polite and humble.
