I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Dublin Mazdas interior and exterior detailing service for my Tesla Model 3, and I couldnt be more satisfied, thanks to the outstanding efforts of Paul, the service manager, Jordan, manager for the parts department, and their exceptional team.You might be wondering why bring a Tesla to Mazda? I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Mazda CX-5 from Dublin Mazda, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our primary salesperson, Samrot, was incredibly friendly and made the entire process stress-free with zero pressure. I met him a week prior to the purchasing day and kept communicating with him. He answered all the questions and never had a hint of push-sale. On the day we visit the dealer again, he provided us with invaluable information and demonstrated several different models to us in patient. Additionally, Suman, another salesperson or manager, offered great advice that assisted us in selecting the right car for our needs. Their combined efforts made us feel confident in our choice. They even helped lower the final purchase price, meeting our very tough pricing goal almost perfectly. Finally the finance person John was very friendly too and gave us no pressure on recommended service items. We are extremely satisfied with our purchase. My spouse said that finally we had a positive experience with car dealers after 30 years of car purchase history. Heather has been so helpful at Dublin Mazda. Some places you just feel like they’re taking you for a ride. Most woman have to have their guard up. Not necessarily me, But I always feel Heather is looking out for me, making sure I get what I paid for and not over charging me for things I don’t need. She’s very personable, knowledgeable friendly. And her team & mechanics do a fantastic job.

The most important aspect of your experience in owning a car from a particular brand is how it is taken care of when you turn it in for maintenance. I was a bit apprehensive when I had to take my Mazda for service at Dublin Mazda given that I wasnt too pleased with the sales experience.All my apprehensions vanished the moment I worked with Frank Gonzales from Dublin Mazda Service department for taking care of regular maintenance and some small issues. Frank has been fantastic and gives you the confidence that your car is in great hands. He takes care of everything right from setting you up with a loaner (or an Uber) based on the need and ensures that you feel comfortable through out the service process. You definitely get the customer first feeling when you work with Frank. I wish we had more professionals like him in the service industry ! I wish Frank all the very best and to keep up the great work he is doing!

Sales and I agreed on an OTD price 41666 on phone. I wanted to have the price written down in email because it would cost me an 1.5h round trip. Sales refused. I double checked with sales the price we agreed on. I grabbed my check and took a Uber to the dealership. I provided S-plan pin, registration of my current Mazda car, went through credit check (not sure why, I don’t want financing), all the stuff. Then I was presented an MSRP of 42xxx. I said this was not the price we agreed on. Sales left. Manager (? not sure) came, gave me a price of 41888, told me I could walk away if I don’t accept. I walked away. Sales came out and said they could do 41666. I didn’t want it any more. I couldn’t find my phone when I was about to leave. I returned to look for the phone. I found the phone. They offered the price of 41666 again. I felt so sad and broke out crying. I asked for a lower price 41500. They refused. I left. They texted me that 41500 is ok. I’m on my way to another dealership now.Before this trip, I drove my current Mazda 3 to my office to leave more space for my expectant Miata. But it turned out that I came back in my friend’s Miatacrying all the way. My friend gifted me a Miata cap in Dublin Mazda, but I didn’t put it on there.

Not all dealerships are the same. My experience at Dublin Mazda was more than i expected. Dublin Mazda curates their pre-owned vehicles, they only sell what they are be proud of. My purchase of a 2014 Mazda 3, one owner, 190k, meticulously maintained, has left me with no second thoughts whatsoever. Im confident future interactions with Dublin Mazda will leave me just as satisfied.

Had a great experience with the people I got to deal with to complete my deal. My salesman Sepehr took good care of me and answered all my questions. The sales manager Alex worked with getting me the numbers where I was wanting to get them. Last but not least, John the finance director walked me through the paperwork without trying to strong arm into anything I didnt want. Great store and great staff! I couldnt be happier.

I had a very disappointing call with a service advisor yesterday. I was looking to temporarily take off a damaged piece of my car that is removable and is sold individually by Mazda for $399.95.I was then told that this piece is permanently attached to the car and that if I want to get it fixed, I have to pay over a thousand to have the entire front bumper assembly removed and replaced sensors and all.There are pictures of people removing this piece to repair it and that this was cosmetic. She still doubled down on all her statements. I was then asked to hold during the middle of the call so that she can help a walk up customer. I obliged because Im a good person, but I still didnt appreciate not completing the job before moving on to something else. Lied to, direspected and upsold. Absolutely unreal.UPDATE: I have just confirmed at another Mazda dealership that this piece is NOT permanently attached and CAN in fact be removed. I will be scheduling that with this other dealership shortly.

Had a wonderful experience yesterday buying a car from Keith Morita at Dublin Mazda. He was responsive, prepared, efficient, and very friendly. I was in and out in 3 hours, and the process would have probably been even faster if Keith and I were not happily gabbing about cars and life so much. Keith is a car fan like me, and a gentleman. Highly recommend the dealer and the man.I was driving in from Fresno and he had the car prepped and ready for me, sending me pics of the car including the nice printout in the photo.And the CX-30 is awesome! Best value on the market, hands down. My $37k Turbo Premium Plus literally has everything, does everything, feels solid as a rock, is quiet as a mouse, and runs like a dream. Most importantly, it is really easy to drive the CX-30 very smooth and gentle when needed. My daughter gets car sick easily and this is going to make our upcoming road trip to see her cousin at college very comfy for her.

Youre going to pay a premium at a dealership but it comes with piece of mind (most of the time) too. In this instance, they refused to fix work previously performed without me first agreeing to pay a fee to have a tech look at the work and even then they wouldnt guarentee that I would have to pay something. Its disappointing because Ive only ever brought my vehicle to Dublin Mazda. I wish people would stand by their work. I may need to look at other options for service in the future.

I took my Mazda 6 for a regular oil change on Saturday the 16th. Paul Carozza was very professional, friendly and helpful. I waited for the service which to 2 hours(I did not mind waiting). After my service was done, I left. About an hour and a half later I returned with some VERY SAD news, my car had been hit while parked at Fitness 19. My husband advised me to take it back to Mazda to see if there was ANYTHING that could be done. As I arrived, David Reyes was there to see the damage. Without hesitation he popped the back bumper back in, drove it into the shop and they buffed it out. It looks like NOTHING happened, PRAISE GOD!! David literally turned my sad face into a HAPPY face. I was so excited that he was able to help. He was AWESOME!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I definitely recommended Dublin Mazda. Their Costomer Service is wonderful!!

You’ll never find better customer service than at Dublin Mazda! I had a dead battery, wasn’t sure what the issue was, so called my salesperson, Michael Barrilleaux (pronounced Barlow) and he offered to come to our home to check out the issue. He jumped the battery, gave me further directions, at no charge! Two days later he returned for the same issue at which time I was able to drive my car to the dealership and they tested the battery, it had a defective cell, so they replaced it that afternoon!! The staff is outstanding. I wasn’t inconvenienced at all and the car is running again!! Couldn’t ask for more!!

I gave my Mazda CX9 for servicing. Horrible experience, the car was not washed, on checking they said car wash machine broke and it will take 2-3 months to fix. No vacuuming in the car. I will recommmend Concord Mazda,much better service quality and technicians.

After getting my car serviced here for many years, I decided to add on the new car detailing services that they offered. There are different price points depending what you need, but I opted for the preferred wash and wax to start with. I was truly amazed when I walked up to my car and saw how beautiful it was inside and outside. Even after all the rained we’ve had, my car still looks great. It also saved me the trip to go get it done elsewhere, and honestly 100% better than other local places I’ve visited before. I would highly recommend getting serviced here in general, but if you can, also ask them about trying the added detail services! It was well worth the try, and definitely will be getting it again when I come in for my next service.

Had a great experience at Dublin Mazda trading in my 2016 Cx-5 for a new 2018 version. Robert our Sales Associate was amazing and really helped us get exactly what we wanted for a great price. The general sales manager, Sam was also very helpful and helped ensure we walked out happy. We purchased our vehicle at night and realized a few days after there was a scratch along the edge of the tailgate and when we went back in to get this fixed they were very accommodating and got me a rental and got it fixed for no cost in 2 days. I returned my leased car 2 months early and didnt buy a new one. I expected to pay the remaining months and fees, but they waived all of that. That was a pleasant surprise and very unexpected given that I didnt go with another vehicle.I also came here for service 4-5 times and it was always done quickly and with no issues. Possibly the worst customer experience Ive ever had. Avoid Jon like the plague. Details below:1- During the sales process, we were told there was a way to avoid a certain fee, which I double confirmed. When I met with Jon, he informed me that wed of course have to pay the fee. When I shared that wasnt what I was told, he condescendingly told me I had asked the wrong person🤯. I didnt realize it was my fault for believing what the dealership had told me🤨??? Ironically, the salesperson was technically right & there was a way around the fee.2- My wife had a migraine and I asked if we could go through the process quickly so we could get her home. Jon didnt care. He laid out his long pitch & kept pushing when I said no.3- Jon undermined his own product with a long, fear based spiel about the risk of all the parts there are in my new car (150k vs 80k in my old mazda) and how expensive they are to fix ($9k to fix a seat if just one part breaks) to scare me into a warranty. How on earth is that a good idea? If my car is so unreliable that I must buy a warranty this will certainly be my last Mazda.4- When I declined, he condescendingly kept pushing, asking me why, as if I was making an uninformed financial decision. Most financial services (eg. warranties, financing etc) make huge mark-ups preying on the emotions of the uninformed. Im very aware that this is where dealerships make money/big mark-ups, which means on average, you lose money.TLDR; Jon only cares about his bonus/commission, youre just a means to his end.Overall, a really great experience if you take out the 45 minutes I spent in financing. Unfortunately even the great service I received was overwhelmed by an appalling 45 minutes, and I wont be back.

The complete lack of paperwork preparation when I told them a time & date that I would be in to purchase was already annoying me, but throughout the entire email/phone communication I kept being told my rate was 2.9%. Time to sign paperwork, and it went up to 2.99%... They expected me not to notice, and said things like Its not that much money etc., etc. True, its not that much money. But YOU should cover YOUR mistake. They did eventually, but only because they were about to lose a sale.

This was my first visit to this location, me and my partner drove from Bay Point for a general diagnosis because the locations in our area are trash. Frank took great care of us! I noticed everyone visiting the dealership asked for him and I can see why.He explained everything with great detail, gave us the actual price upfront, the technicians provide a video of what’s in good condition and what’s recommended to be replaced. Went in for service with my prepaid service plan. They claim that they have to call in to somewhere to verify I bought the prepaid service plan. Had me waiting an hour and tell me they cannot verify because the other side is not picking up the phone and saying they might be closed. I asked the guy to call and verify with my VIN number on another day and let me know so I can come back on another day. He said I have to call to verify myself. I immediately questioned him why I would have to call? I knew I have the prepaid service plan. He then changed his words and said he cannot because he needs to have the car with him. Seems to me all lies, or otherwise complete chaos and dysfunction.

I judge harshly on my experiences with car dealers and generally go in expecting to be taken for a ride (and not in a car…) I can’t say the start to finish was without some elements of what seemed like trying to get me to a higher price point than I wanted, the end result was exactly what I wanted: I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. The sales team works together to make things efficient and the customer focus and attention is top notch. Michael B was my point person and Troy was his partner when he wasn’t in. The two of them are great at what they do and because of that, I’ll be sticking with Dublin Mazda for my next car, most likely!

Took my car in for a warranty issue regarding my transmission. i knew for the most part what the problem was and yet the dealership still charged me $500 just to tell me what I already knew. did not decide to fix the car since warranty didn’t cover it but still paid the $500 essentially for nothing. The experience was good. I went in knowing what I wanted and Troy helped me out I had asked to test drive a Miata when I arrived at the dealer and after purchasing the car I initially came to look. I guess he was too busy with other clients to show it to me. A few days later I had requested some information from Troy and never received the information I requested. Overall the Mazda team is awesome and are very friendly.

I dont particularly love going to any dealership for any service but I will drive from San Jose to Dublin Mazda very happily. That tells you just how much I love Dublin Mazda service team. First time I spoke with Frank about tire specials, he was courteous and professional. I had to change my appointment few times and asked questions much more than I normally would since it was first time there. Every time, he was super patient and just an amazing person to deal with. While I was waiting, he kept on updating me with status and offered Uber service if I wanted to go someplace else while waiting. From start to finish, he was so wonderful to deal with, which is rare at any service departments. I really do enjoy interacting with entire team there including David, and cant say enough of great things. So much so that my wife now plans to purchase her next car at Dublin Mazda instead of planned Lexus. Its all about human reaction, and for me, Frank makes me feel like I can really trust them about my car.

Always a great experience here. Came in for my 5k service and was told my car would be done in 2-2.5 hours, so I decided to get some lunch at Stoneridge Mall nearby. They provide a free Uber one way to any destination within a certain distance. Super convenient and they even set up the ride for you. They send you updates about your service via text, including a video of your inspection. They ended up finishing my car faster than expected. A few days after my service, they sent a follow up text to ensure my car was still running smoothly. David Reyes in the service department made sure I was taken care of. If you’re looking to purchase a Mazda, hate pushy salesmen, but want someone knows the car inside and out, then Keith Morita is your guy. Just bought a “certified” Mazda and the vehicle was delivered without cleaning. Soda stains, dirt in storage area and unclean door jambs after 3 days of waiting for the car. We selected our options and put down the required $500 check as a deposit (that Dublin Mazda immediately cashed). Today, 06/30/23, the general manager called at 1:00 PM and said we had until 7:00 PM to pick up the car. This was the first communication from Dublin Mazda that our car would be available for pick up. Since it was such a short notice, we could not shuffle our schedules to pick up the car. The general manager pressured us that if we did not pick it up by 7:00 PM, they would sell the car to someone else. We waited for 2 and a half months for the car, and Dublin Mazda could not wait a few days for us to pick up the car. Terrible customer service. I requested a refund of my deposit and will order our car from another dealership. I warn others to spare yourself from this experience and stay away from purchasing a car from Dublin Mazda.

Incredibly terrible experience. Will never do business with them again. The salesperson I spoke with was pleasant, but somethings severely wrong with the management. Sold my car to them on June 29th. On July 14th I get a call saying theres an issue with the transmission and I have to take the car back. This is already very strange to me, so after coming in I call the DMV and find out that dealerships can reverse these transactions if theres an issue with the car. Unfortunate, but if thats the law then alls fair. I take a walk around the car, and not only have they removed all the modifications Ive spent money on, they also scratched the infotainment screen. I bring up the infotainment screen to them, and show them the picture of the infotainment before I gave them the car. Their mechanic comes in and says that the level of scratching currently on the car is how he got it. I have a literal picture with timestamp but they refused to even look at it, or offer any kind of solution. The attitude seemed to just be, this dude signed the paperwork, now we dont owe anything to him. Cant emphasize enough, do not sell your car to these guys. Youre better off with carvana or carmax because even if they lowball, at least they wont mess with your car and then back out of the sale 2 weeks later.

Nobody approached me, nobody asked me anything, nobody cared that I was even in there. I was interested in the 2022 white MX-5 they have sitting in the showroom. One or two dealers would give me a bashful smile as they scurried past me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe all the dealers were busy. Then another family came in and were immediately helped. Thats when I decided to get up and leave. Thats half an hour Ill never get back. I took my 2019 CX5 in on Aug 10th because the parking brake was automatically coming on at different times. Once when I was driving. I was given a loaner car CX5 2023 to drive. When I picked up my car and also with my loaner car Heather Brown made sure that my mirrors were adjusted correctly, GPS & phone was connected. She always makes sure that I drive off the lot safely. Daughter recently had an accident which necessitated the need for a new car. We visited several east bay dealers, most of which were woefully short on new inventory as well as used cars (at a reasonable price). The Mazda lot had A LOT of new models as well as used cars too. We worked with sales advisor Keith Morita who asked all the right questions about our needs and suggested models based on what we needed. He took time to point out feature highlights that spoke to our needs which was great for our non-car daughter. As as dad I appreciated this tour, especially the note about collision avoidance systems... I bought a new CX5 from them and that process was nice. However within two years the folding mirrors started to not close. I was informed by service that because it was intermittent they would not fix it under warranty. One service even acknowledged that they had received an advisory about this issue. By the time the mirrors completely failed I was allegedly outside of the warranty period and the charge to replace the mirror was very expensive. I own two other cars and those car companies bent over backwards to fix the issues that popped up during the warranty periods even when the issue was intermittent. Wish Mazda had treated me the same. Probably won’t buy another one.

Paul in the service department is phenomenal! My Mazda all the sudden had this technical issue and would randomly change channels. After running tests, I needed a new monitor screen for my car to view Navigation System, Settings, etc. so was a major issue. I had gotten an extended warranty which was going to soon run out, he made sure to call the extended warranty and placed an order for my new screen which took 6 months to get from China to the US. However, Paul kept me updated along the way, letting me know I was not forgotten. When it came in, he asked when I could come in, he worked around ME to make it happen. When my navigation system was still not working, he came to my house to deliver the part needed. BEST customer service I have ever seen and such a great person to work with. Thank you Paul for going ABOVE AND BEYOND as there are not many people out there that have that type of customer service.

As other have stated, dont buy here.Here is my story.As with most car buying, the back and forth of I have to ask my manager to talk about pricing gets old and is a waste of time. While my salesman was nice, he was powerless, a dog on a leash trying his best while the upper management yanked and pulled his choker chain to get the deal done. I probably wouldnt do business with them again. Also car was dirty and not Prepped well at all. Bug splatters on it sticky from soda spills. Paint needs a good clay bar to get all the orange dots of sap or whatever was stuck on the paint.I mentioned this to my sales guy as I was there and he said we can send it back, but if it was done carelessly the first time, Im not waiting more. Been here for 3 hours already, which is why I didnt purchase any maintenance plans that they push on you. The lack of care and detail, why would I trust them to work on my car. Besides they over charge anyways, its a industry secret they make most their money on service. I dont take anything personal as its a business, but I wouldnt do business with them again. I get the feeling that they think they are doing you a favor for selling you a car. I get that cars are in short supply, but you shouldnt treat customers like its their fault. The dealership was clean and had AC so that was nice, and like I said my sales guy was nice, just the finance and upper management ruin the experience. Also I believe the owner owns the Mazda in Tracy and Concord but I could be wrong, the finance guy said something about that. Buyer beware.

They send us a video to our phone of all the services that will be performed while the vehicle is on the lift and a quick walk around when doing the point inspection for you to see. (Hardware missing and damage)I bought my 3 here six years ago and got an ok/iffy deal on it. The service center was always hit or miss and even with the extended warranty it was always a fight to get stuff done. (Its been a few years since ive been in but what I found brings me here today). I handed out giftcards as a bribe each time because well maybe it was me? I started learning how to do the work myself and boy was I in for a surprise. I started finding missing bolts and rivet fasteners EVERYWHERE. They absolutely only put on the bare minimum of hardware when the replaced my horn and the clips and snaps were busted left and right. I found that over half of the hardware that held my bumper on was missing. Someone had even tried to just peel back the driver side bumper to get to the horn mount and did damage. I found my headlight on the driver side was missing all but 1 of the mounting bolts leaving it loose and nearly falling out. I had to buy full kits to replace all the missing stuff as well as mend alot of damage. Im now convinced they might have pirated from under my hood when I came in. I came to Dublin Mazda after a bad experience at Concord Mazda, I needed to replace a part on the front driver seat and Concord Mazda had told me that the part was no longer available and that the entire seat might have to be replaced. Dublin Mazda found the part in 5 minutes and installed it about a week later. They estimated $400 and 1.5 hours and it ended up costing $250 and it was done in 1 hour. Pleasant surprise! Compared to Concord Mazda, my overall experience at Dublin Mazda was excellent. The most Terrible experience I have ever had purchasing a car from a dealership and I bought at least 5 cars from different dealership in the past.It started with buying a Certified 2018 Mazda CX-5 which is supposed to be undergone a rigorous 150-point inspection at the dealership. Driving the car I started to smell like a rubber burning inside the car. I took the car to dealership and they said it is the break adhesive and it can be fixed under the warranty. I picked up the car which was apparently fixed, but there it was the terrible smell again and I had to take the car to dealership.Finally I was told the car is burning oil and Cylinder head has to be replaced and they had to order from Japan and it takes few weeks. This car was supposed to pass 150 point inspection and not catching that problem was odd!Talking to the dealership Manager, He simply told me THIS WAS AN ACT Of GOD!!! Which made me loose it. This was not an earthquake or flood or … to be considered Act of God. The inspectors hasn’t done their job and management explanation was terrible. I thought this is a major issue and how can I trust their repair department to do the job correct this time. I went through hell to get them agreed to exchange the car which was used for only a few weeks, but they were saying $3000.00 plus payment toward tax and all the other charges they made plus the installments I have paid is gone and I don’t get refunded or they can’t use it toward purchasing another car. Going back and forth for days, the dealership owner accepted to credit the money I have paid toward another car. They sold me another car which was more expensive and paid another $3000.00 to keep the loan the same amount, and I was going to pick up the new car with my husband the next day. we went back and surprisingly was told they made a mistake about the price and the window price was $4000.00 more than I was quoted, although I had already gave them a check for deposit. Finally being so tired, frustrated and disappointed with all this, I purchased the car and brought it home. Later I went through the paper work they emailed me and found out I was never reimbursed for the two installment of $419.00 I paid for the previous faulty car, although I was repeatedly assured they would take care of all my losses including the installments toward the previous loan.I emailed, texted, called but no one got back to me over a month. Finally I was able to get the sales person in the phone today and he said he talked to his manager and he is not going to do what he had promised.I have worked as customer service manager over 20 years and I have never seen something like this. I have never posted a bad review for anything before, but I felt I should do this hoping customer service doesn’t go down the drain more than it already has anymore.

Warning! Do not take your vehicle or business to Dublin Mazda! There is someone named Jesus Vega that works in the Service department as the Assistant Service Manager - the service he provides is horrendous; he does not belong in a customer facing position at any company as his sole focus is to “make a living” (not serve his customers) as he so kindly pointed out.More Info:Dublin Mazda sends a video of the technician inspecting the owner’s vehicle when service is being performed. For my fiancé’s situation, the technician clearing stated/demonstrated twice during the video that the suspension was leaking (thus correcting the issue would be covered under the warranty applicable to this situation). Jesus (Mazda rep), however, proceeded to say how it’s not actually leaking, but rather seepage, which does not qualify for Mazda to make repairs under the warranty. It’s astounding that this guy behind the counter is able to dictate to the customer different facts of what is going on with the serviced vehicle than what the technician who did the actual inspection found and reported to the customer. Facts aside, I proceed to ask Jesus to do what’s right and repair the vehicle’s issues that were identified by the technician…what came next is the reason I will never go back to Dublin Mazda - Jesus proceeded to explain how the technician didn’t know what he was doing/saying (which is more cause for concern of what else could be wrong with the vehicle if true), but rather he (Jesus) looked at it and corrected the analysis (contrary to what the video that was sent to the customer stated). Additionally, when I asked to speak to Jesus’ manager, he responded by telling me he is the manager multiple times. I eventually asked for him to bring over whomever he reports to, and which point he continued to tell me that I’m talking to him already and he is the manager. Once I looked at his business card, which read “Assistant Service Manager”, I pointed out to Jesus that there would be a “Service Manager” that I would like to speak to since it clearly states he is an assistant - his knee jerk response was to defensively tell me I was denouncing his title…not to acknowledge there is a Manger I could speak to. As Jesus proceed to be stubborn and try and tell me how he could teach me what they need to teach their technician, I informed him it’s not my responsibility to be taught how Mazda should be inspecting cars in relation to warranties (in extreme frustration at this point). He proceeded to downplay my frustration, and eventually told me “we are all just trying to make a living here”. Well, that’s great for Jesus, but the reason I/my fiancé were at Dublin Mazda was to ensure we are able to safely drive my fiancé’s Mazda vehicle; that was clearly not his concern.

Made an appointment, for what turned out to be a common issue for Mazda’s, and showed up on time.Guy calls me up asks if I have an appointment, then asks what’s the problem. I explain the problem thoroughly, but the man refuses to look at my car to see for himself. I WAS TOLD TO GO PAY TO GET MY CAR DIAGNOSED AT ANOTHER SHOP, when it was Mazda’s job to do so. THEN I WAS TOLD BY BRIAN TO PAY MAZDA MORE DIAGNOSTIC FEES WHEN I WAS DIRECTED TI PAY MY MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. Brian is telling me to pay to get my car diagnosed twice and refused to accept responsibility on behalf of Mazda for the mistake, and refused to make the situation right. I’m sure the guys in the shop and on the sales floor are great, but the head guys like Brian running the operation are bums. How can you tell someone to go get your car diagnosed somewhere else, then deny responsibility after learning they should have done it in the first place. Music n’ Motion misdiagnosed the car anayways!!!!! If I knew how to file a formal corporate complaint I would so I can finally have this situation made right from Mazda, seeing I paid a few hundred dollars at Music n’ motion when I had no business being there in the first place. If they try to send you away, refuse and make sure they at least look at the car first.

I wanted to get my spark plugs and oil changed. The lady on the main line was nice, but then I was transferred to the service department to get a quote. The guy there wanted 380 for an oil change and spark plug change, (with my spark plugs)! He was then extremely rude when I was trying to get a breakdown on why it was so much. I cant speak to how well their work is, because I am never bringing my car here.

It’s unfortunate that the sales departments at many auto dealerships have such a bad reputation. Sometimes it’s well deserved. Many sales departments use hard-sell techniques, lie and pretty much will say anything to make the sale right then! They know that once a customer walks out the door, it’s very hard to get them back to make the sale.So, I can understand why so many people have a distrust for dealerships and dread the whole car buying process.I’m happy to report that not all dealerships have slimy sales people and use hard-sell techniques. Some have genuinely nice people who know the product and actually seem to care about selling me the right car for my needs!My wife and I were shopping for a small sized SUV and had narrowed it down to a Honda CR-V (we had owned an ’09 CR-V in the past) and the Mazda CX-5.We stopped in at Ken Harvey Mazda in Dublin to take a look at both of them (Ken Harvey also owns the Honda dealership just across the parking lot). We used Ken Harvey Honda for car service in the past and couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience with their service department.I worked with Vasek who was wonderful. Knowledgeable about both the Honda and the Mazda vehicles and was able to talk authoritatively about both. Vasek was able to clearly explain the differences and how they would translate to our specific needs.In the end we choose the Mazda CX-5 and have been thrilled with it.The whole decision process was smoother than buttered silk!And then came the most dreaded part of buying a car… negotiating the price. Usually there’s the whole drama of the sales person saying they would have to get approval from their manager for that price and he walks out and you can see (but not hear) him as he dramatically talks to the manager wildly gesticulating giving, what appears to the customer, as a really convincing argument to the manager to accept the price. You know they are actually talking about something totally different like where to go for beer after work.There was none of this nonsense with Vasek. We went in knowing the retail and invoice prices for the car so we knew a fair price when we hit it. I should add that I actually want the dealership to make money on the deal. But I also want to get a good price. There’s always a sweet spot in the middle where the dealership still makes a profit and I still get a good deal. This is a total win-win and it’s what I always aim for when negotiating prices.We were able to quickly come to an agreement on a fair price for the car and a fair price for my trade-in vehicle.Again, smooth as a summer lake at dawn! No hassles, conflicts, dramatics or any nonsense!The only minor delay was that they didn’t have the exact color and model that we wanted. They were able to find the perfect car at another local dealership and get it transferred in just a few days.Even the Finance & Insurance department (F&I) where the final contract is signed and where they actually take your money was a smooth process. Harry Soenardi, the finance manager, was wonderful. Mazda was running a promotion with 0% financing (like putting money in my pocket!) and the whole process from applying for the loan through the final signature was quick and painless.I can’t praise Ken Harvey Mazda enough! From walking in the door to driving off in our new car this was one of the easiest, fairest and smoothest processes I’ve ever had when buying a new car.They have restored my faith in dealerships. All I can say is if you’re in the market for a new car, go to Ken Harvey Mazda in Dublin (or Ken Harvey Honda right next door). You’ll be as thrilled as I was that you did!

I had a great experience picking out a new Mazda here. I highly recommend Keith M., hes the product specialist who helped us, and it really was top-notch customer service. We never felt rushed, he showed a great deal of knowledge and passion for the cars, explained and made the whole test driving experience fun as well as very enlightening.Id been to several different dealerships to scope out cars over the past month and a lot of them gave me awful treatment: they either didnt know anything about their cars, didnt care to tell me anything about it because I didnt look like I was buying a car, or they just scoped me out as someone that couldnt afford a car and ignored me.Keith was very patient, he was both enthusiastic and willing to show us the top tier trim models as well as the standard trim models, but also understanding that I had a budget, gave us very fair overviews of why features were available, what features were most practical, what features might be useful, etc. I never felt like a sale on the verge of being won or lost, but like a person he wanted to see fitted with a car that best suited them. Even when I was at the desk figuring out the finalization and I literally had him sifting their inventory because I was trying to find a Mazda that was blue and still had all the features I wanted, he absolutely threw himself into the task of trying to locate something and various possible combinations.We kept him until pretty much closing time and I feel bad holding him there with all the paperwork and stuff, but he really puts all of himself into his job and even when it was dark outside and we finally had completed the sale, he was still chipper and offering to continue answering questions and demonstrate features and just make sure everything was completely comfortable and good up before we left the dealership.Now proudly driving around a sporty little Mazda 3 with a Bose sound system and likely to want to trade in for a higher level trim at some point or maybe even a Mazda 6 because I had a lot of fun test-driving. :) Maybe when Im not a poor millennial, hahaha. Anyway, highly recommend Keith, hes a real gem of a salesperson and a person and definitely made the whole buying a car ordeal less of an ordeal.

Disorganized!I called on a Wednesday asking to come test drive a car. I specified that I lived out of town and wanted to be sure that I could drive it and was promised I could. Then we get there and are told the car cant be driven because it hasnt been detailed (even though they had the vehicle at least two months). The salesman took my number and said the car would be driveable in three days, or at the very most 5. Two days later I get a call from someone at Dublin Mazda asking about my experience. I gave my salespersons name and explained the situation. The person on the phone made me an appointment to come see the car, promising to confirm with my salesman and have him confirm with me. The night before the appointment I still hadnt heard anything so I texted my salesman and got no response. The morning off I called and he apologized but said the car wouldnt be available for another 4 days (a week from when I went in). He said hed call and let me know. Tomorrow is the day I was told I could come see the car and Ive heard nothing. I called to talk to the sales manager and figure out whats going on, and was immediately put on hold. I really liked the car so I held for 18 minutes before giving. Dont give your business to these people. They cant even be bothered to schedule a test drive for a customer, they wont talk to each other, and seem genuinely disinterested.

I did my homework and came in to Lease a CX5 after receiving multiple bids. The internet sales guy (Elvis) gave me a verbal price over the phone the day before. I asked him multiple times to send me the official offer in writing, but he never did. I called the next day to confirm pricing and the sales associate (Nick) stated the price was not achievable but gave me a price that was $10 more, which I agreed. I told the Nick I did not have a ride until tomorrow, but he was nice enough to arrange an Uber. (one extra star for that) I was told by another dealer that Mazda offers 1K coverage on wear and tear which covers rims, cracks, dings, ect....Dublin Mazda tried to include this for an extra 1K to my total lease cost. After further research, I do agree I misunderstood the salesman at the 1st dealership but found out the warranty usually cost about $500 for the dealership and you can buy it separately. Anyways, this took the price well beyond what was agreed. I was in a bit of a hurry since I had a 6:30 work call which I told the Nick about before starting. They tried to work down the price but we couldnt come to an agreement. I decided it was time to leave. I went to shake the GMs hand to thank him for his time (this whole process took about 45 minutes) and thats when everything went bad . The GM said he would not shake my hand as that was a sign of mutual respect and there was no mutual respect taking place. He then started to accuse me of playing games and that I was dishonest about the price his associate provided over the phone. 1st - I wrote down exactly what the sales associated quoted me over the phone and I agreed to a slightly higher price to come in. 2nd - how dare he accuse me of paying playing games! I had a set budget and max limit. He is not the one paying my bills. Worst of all, he was trying to insult my payment ability on the showroom floor in front of customers and other associates. I had to ask him to quiet down and take it elsewhere if he wanted to discuss. I even offered to write a check for the Uber ride which caused him to insult me even more. By far the worse car buying experience and to see this behavior from a GM was just shocking. I will be taking my business elsewhere and telling my friends and family to avoid this or any Ken Harvey Dealership. I have been in high level sales for 15+ years. It says a lot about a company if this is the type of people they hire for leadership.

Being a Mazda owner, the dealership locations are a lot more limited than other automakers. Dublin Mazda is, by far, my favorite out of the 3 options within the radius of what l consider a short drive (20-minutes). From my experience, they give you a reasonable expectation of when youll be outta there. In fact, once I brought take-out expecting a lengthy stay but everything was finished, including a car wash before my first bite. Dublin Mazda management, you deserve a salute from me and all your satisfied customers.

I got my brand new CX5 AWD GT fully loaded, I’m a first time car buyer and loved the experience with sales I rate them 5/5.So why 1 Star?This is for the receptionist lady, I had to fix my License Plates and wanted to get it done by Service guys! Three things I didn’t like from her.1. She was rude, straight away she said we don’t do it ( Fixing of license plates).2. She kept me waiting for 30 mins to get this thing done, It took hardly 5 mins to fix the license plates by the technician.3. She don’t greet there customers!If she treated me this way 2 weeks ago, I would never bought my car from this dealership! Today I pick up my 2018 Mazda 3 Sedan Crystal blue a really nice looking piece of Machinery. Dublin Mazda really treated me good and I felt no pressure from them, Bill really took care of me on choosing the right vehicle for me and Rose from accounting explain to me in full detail of what I was signing and explain to me the details of the paper work. Bought a used vehicle. Customer service was okay, regular sales people. They were gonna let me drive off the lot with the gas light on but I got lucky and they put it at half tank. They mentioned inspections and said they did an oil change but that was a lie. But at least they provided carfax to prove themselves wrong. Still dog hair in vehicle from last owner. Dont have high expectations if you plan on buying used vehicles from them

I spent several weeks shopping around, comparing cars, working with a variety of sales people at dealerships all over the east bay area.When it came to the actual purchase, I chose to buy my new Mazda from Gregory Gutierrez at Dublin Mazda. Gregory answered my questions, listened to my requests, and agreed to a very fair price. The whole purchase process from start to finish was easy at Dublin Mazda. I strongly suggest that you ask for Gregory Gutierrez - this guy really knows his product and was so helpful. I never felt like they were selling me. It was a true pleasure and I will be back to buy more vehicles from Dublin Mazda in the future.
