Today, I decided to bite the bullet and look at some cars with the serious intention of replacing my old clunker. I had plans to visit a few different dealerships. After all, I had done my homework and gathered myself, and whatever was left of my brain on a Saturday night to run some numbers and see what was available; from Honda to Volkswagen, I looked and made frantic notes. Ok, it was Sunday, and now I was ready for the torture I was about to embark on Sunday afternoon. I started with one dealership and quickly checked out one of my favorites, the Elantra. Buying a car today is a different experience from ten years ago. I was pleasantly surprised by how relaxed and friendly the sales representative who assisted us was. Samuel Soares’ calm demeanor put me at ease, and his kind and warm approach was a welcome and refreshing experience, making the whole car-buying experience pleasant. The team was lovely, and I felt my concerns were being addressed. They made me feel listened to and earned them a gold star in my book. They made it easy for me to buy a car and, surprisingly, pretty darn close to the price I had decided on! My first dealership stop was right on, and I walked away a pleased Hyundai customer. I love my new Hyundai Elantra!

This was my first and last stop to find a car. I had to get a car immediately to start a new job and Lauren helped me out big time. We test drove the car that had just come into the lot that week and she made sure that detailing was done on it in time for my new job. Finance worked really hard to find a loan that would fit my very odd financial circumstances. It’s been three weeks and the car has been working wonderfully. Overall, will probably come here if I ever need another car again.

No answers! - I am still trying to contact a person that can give me information about my registration status and have not been able to get a hold of anybody there. I wrote a review before, and the marketing person called me to remove the review but not to solve my problem. I am really worried about what can happen it I am pulled over by the authorities. I dont really know what to do at this point.

Update: Marika was fantastic and was able to resolve the situation with us promptly. We are very satisfied with how Hyundai Dublin handled the situation.Prior to the purchase, everything went fairly smoothly. After the purchase, not so much. The sales associate assured me that there would be two key fobs for the CPO vehicle which was very important to us. He assumed they would have two fobs and did not actually look for the second one. (We likely would not have gone to the dealership that day if there was only one fob as this vehicle will be shared by multiple people in our family.) Only after we started signing papers did they inform us that there was no second fob after all. The associate said they would look for it and I responded that we would like to have it provided to us for free since we had assurances that it was available . I have been trying to get a firm answer for 4 days and nothing. We are also missing floor mats and a cargo tray that were promised in the window sticker and ad. We assumed they were under the plastic floor coverings and only discovered they were missing when we got home. It seemed like as soon as we purchased the car, this dealership no longer cared about any outstanding issues. To be fair, the finance department was great and easy to work with.

Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience.I recently visited Genesis of Dublin to test drive the Genesis GV80, but my experience was a total letdown. Despite booking an appointment, the salesperson was nowhere to be found, and I was left waiting for 20 minutes.When a different sales representative finally showed up, he was rude and unprofessional. He seemed put off by my request to test drive the car, implying that I should be grateful for the opportunity. The cherry on top was when he stated that I could only properly test drive the car if I was ready to make a purchase on the spot!I was taken aback by his attitude, especially considering the price tag of $80,000. Its absurd to expect someone to make such a significant investment without ensuring theyre completely satisfied with the vehicle.The lack of respect and professionalism from the sales team at [Dealership Name] has left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a hassle-free car-buying experience.

The Bay Areas best Hyundai dealer. We purchased our Hyundai and recommended friends, and their sales and service representatives were excellent.Firat Sahin, the service advisor, is fantastic and honest. Prioritized safe service recommendation and what can be done at the next service visit. After the service, we encountered a small problem. I messaged the Firat, and he promptly replied. He gave me an appointment for the next day and instructed the shop foreman to inspect the vehicle again and finish the recall campaign immediately. Dublin Hyundai Genesis dealer provides the same caliber of service as our Mercedes and Lexus dealers, but at a lower price point.Steve Paladino is a no-pressure salesman. He swiftly followed up, addressed all of our questions, and we drove our new car out of the lot in an hour.Nathaniel Turner from the parts department is extremely knowledgable and assisted me in locating components required for service. Their parts prices are significantly less than those of Hyundai San Bruno and very competitive with online OEM dealers. During their tire sale, you can acquire Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires for almost the same price as Costco—buy three, get one free.Large flagship Hyundai and Genesis dealer with a good selection of SUVs, sedans, and new electric vehicles. They have a huge parking lot, fully stocked part department, and a comfortable customer waiting area with soft drink and hot beverage options. Unlike Mercedes-Benz San Francisco, Lexus Oakland, and City Toyota in Daly City, they do not provide snacks and hot donuts.This dealership has a spacious, clean bathroom with a diaper changing station for babies! Why dont all other dealers provide this simple amenity that families require? After all, vehicle dealers serve families of all sizes.On their website, you may always find service coupons and part deals. These service discount coupons are no longer common in Hyundai dealerships around San Francisco.Our Hyundai was serviced at various BayArea Hyundai dealerships, including Hyundai San Francisco (Closed), Hyundai San Bruno (Closed), Hyundai Serramonte (Closed), Hyundai Fremont, and Hyundai San Bruno (Newly opened). Service appointments can be scheduled online, and notifications are sent by email and text message. We keep returning to this dealership because their service is excellent.

Dublin Hyundai is not the closest dealer for me but I keep going back because they offer faster appointments scheduling, have Saturday appointments and do what they say they will and get it done. Service staff is clear, not condescending, and genuinely tries to be accommodating.Case in point: I scheduled service on my Ionic 5 for a recall (just a software update) for a Saturday. When I got there, mentioned I heard an unusual noise under the car at highway speeds. Asked if they could look at it. They said they were really busy and might not have time. Said I understood, but maybe they could put it up on a lift and look for something obvious. They said they would try. Gave me a ride to a mall where I watched a movie. Got a text in the movie that the car was ready.When got back, told me they had road-tested the car, confirmed the noise and location, put it on a lift and found a loose bolt that holds a plastic cover in place, allowing it to vibrate. Tightened the bolt, re-road tested the car and confirmed noise was gone. Total cost to me:$0. Now that’s service!

Bought a used vehicle months back. We were guaranteed the car was in great condition, we had them check it again before leaving the lot and their master techs said the car was a great and reliable car that would last a while. We trusted their word. Fast forward to a couple months, took the car in for routine maintenance the master mechanic at a local shop could not believe a dealership would sell this car. The whole under framework of the vehicle is rusted and corroding. Its failing apart. I cannot even get an alignment due to the rust. The bottom of the car was spray painted to hide the rust. No work can be done on the vehicle without the risk of it all coming apart. Tried contacting Hyundai about the issue, they deny having knowledge about despite their inspection reports mentioning corrosion. Not to mention obtaining their inspection reports has been a hassle itself, and Im still waiting on two more, when I call I get transferred to multiple people just to end up getting hung up on. Dont buy used cars from them youll just get robbed.

I was impressed with Gabriel. He helped us throughout the leasing process. He was very helpful, humble and knowledgeable. Lauren Jarvis is the sales person to see! On a whim I wanted to stop by and look at a car as we left SF to head back home. I recently leased an IONIQ 6.Lauren Jarvis was extremely informative, responsive, and proactive during the process. I knew the car I wanted but there were many details around the trim and colors that required plenty of back and forth via photos and videos. In addition she was able to get me an amazingly well-priced menu of colors/trims/RW vs AW drive and ultimately secured one I wanted but they didnt have on the lot -- on the same day!Shes very knowledgeable and also ranked high on something I deem important -- no beating around the bush on the quote. I shop around with very specific parameters on how I want a lease quoted and find that many dealers will not give direct answers without me coming in to the dealership.This is 2024, when you arent direct, you do not give consumers the credit for being able to do their own research and it makes you look bad when you try to lure people in so you can use some antiquated Im a people person salesmanship pitch. No time for that.Lauren respected my time and care that goes into decisions. She was forthcoming, efficient, urgent, and accommodating throughout.You should reach out to her if youre looking for a Hyundai in the Bay Area.

After being pre approved for a vehicle, we drove 2 hours to this dealership to finalize everything and pick it up. After the initial paperwork was filled out my family drove back home while I waited for the only finance person to finish the paperwork with me. After waiting a total of 3 hours, I was then informed that they would not accept the check my wife wrote for the down payment, a check that was filled out in the presence of the salesperson. They would not take payment with credit card because they will only charge a maximum of $5,000 per day. Because of both of these policies I had to pay for a 2 hour Uber ride back home. These people deserve negative stars.

I had shopped around and was not treated so great and lied to at other dealerships. Unfortunately, my experience has drastically changed, and I now realize that the dealership is only focused on making a sale and doesnt care about customers once the purchase is complete.The service department was extremely unhelpful. It took them 15 days just to order the necessary car parts. Moreover, his communication with the insurance company was poor and added to the delay.Adding to the frustration, my parents were visiting from India for the very first time, and this entire ordeal left a very bad impression. Even after 23 days, my car still hasnt been returned to me, and I dont even have an estimate of when it will be ready. Last Thursday on 20th june when I called them they said you should get it on monday(24th june) today is 28th and I still don’t have my car fixed. What should have been a simple fix involving a tire and front bumper has turned into a prolonged and stressful experience.I regret my decision to towed my car to dublin hyundai where I could have towed to some other dealer.I hope this review serves as a caution to others considering Dublin Hyundai for their car needs.

Never in my life did I think I would own a Hyundai, but here we are. As fate would have it Armaan picked up my call and went above and beyond to make it all happen. We negotiated hard, he brought the car and paperwork to me and I appreciated his understanding and calm demeanor. He had good product knowledge, didnt hard sell or pretend - thats rare nowadays. I feel bad that he had to take an Uber home but thats the level of commitment.

Lets talk about how frustrating it is to call leave messages an talking everyone other than who needs to answer all our questions. The gentleman that helped us test drive an work out numbers was great thank you to him. This finance department is awhole other issues. Talk about how our down payment doesnt reflect on our loan also how the finance team told us 2500 was free for a ceramic coating an turns out they charge us for it. Then find out we arent the first customers that this has happened to. Unsatisfied is a understatement at this pint. We are bith highly frustrated witj this outcome an the lack of care has shown here from this dealership. What was supposed to be a nice day have turned into complete dissatisfaction of customer service an disrespect from these people.

My only complaint was that the finance closer (not that salesperson) tried to add some vin etching I hadnt requested, but at least the removed the charge when I asked. Car was detailed and charged and Wathan showed me all the features Id need. Id happily recommend the dealership to my friends.

Called dealer and was put in contact with Anthony about selling me a 2021 Prius prime listed for sale on their website. Anthony told me if I setup financing thorough the dealer that he would hold the vehicle for me till I could get there. Anthony ran my credit and was approved and was assured the vehicle was mine and held for me. At the last minute Anthony called me and said another salesperson sold the car and it was gone. Not only did Anthony lie proving this is a dishonest dealership they ran my credit damaging my credit score.

Bought a CPO car that I saw online and my first feeling when arriving was like if they didnt want to sell me the car. I also felt tricked into buying a service contract that for sure I did not need. 3.5 months later I have not received my registration yet, and when trying to find out about it, it is impossible to contact anyone there. Calls are being hanged up, emails not answered. Very bad experience.

Unethical dealership. STAY AWAY!!! I went with my daughter to help her purchase a car. We had already been approved for a loan through our bank. Because it was after the bank had closed, they wanted to do a secondary finance application. I’ve dine this before with no problem. After waiting for 1.5 hours, I went to go find our salesman Naveed. He told me that finance was working on it. After a long, rude discussion with who I assume was a sales manager, I find out that there is a problem with the pricing of the car. The value was over $1,000 less than asking price. I told them that I didn’t want to buy a car under those terms and left. After I left the dealership, I got 5 notifications on my phone for hard credit inquiries. Some of these inquiries were AFTER I had left. Highly unethical.

ETA - The AWFUL service continues. On Monday, we finally spoke to someone. There was no apology for the lack of communication from the service center. We called and texted them (before they closed on Saturday) and were told we would get a call right back. That call NEVER came and WE STILL DONT HAVE OUR CAR.The situation seems to absurd to be real.When we brought our car in for the first service after we bought it, the tire had been losing air so we asked them to look at it although at the moment the air was fine because we had been adding to it. We picked up the car and when we inquired about tire, we were told oh tire? we didnt see any issue. Come to find out there was a NAIL in our tire and they just never looked because the air pressure was fine when we brought it in even though we told them about our issues.

Go anywhere but here! The sales guy was alright, a bull of a finance manager. But the Sevice department failed miserably. On a regular maintenance visit, I needed all new windshield wiper blades..they only replaced the front. :o( On a second regular maintenance, I needed a headlamp replaced. It was replaced, but went out again, 30 days later. New headlamps should last much longer than 30 days! I called to inquire and left several messages and text messages only to be rebuffed with silence. They know they deliver garbage service and are cowards about answering for it.

Not thrilled about a two hour wait especially since I had an appointment but this dealership is much larger than the place I originally purchased the vehicle . When I was a tech at the other location we had the cars out in an hour or less unless the vehicle had some other issue that required more work from the moment I got a car they expected an oil change a tire rotation and and a multi-point inspection done within half hour. So yeah not to thrilled about waiting so long for something that should be an hour. Customer service was great and the service advisor was upfront about the wait time. The demeanor of the employees seems pretty professional. I’ll be happy when they get my car done hopefully by noon as promised. Will give the location another chance but if the service is going to be more than an hour of waiting I will most likely find another location my time is extremely valuable to me . Also it was very hard to relax in the waiting area with power tools being used my ears man these seats are not comfortable and the ones in the tv area are atrocious they creak and squeak and y’all need to offer some donuts or snacks and water for your waiting customers. The longer I’m waiting to more things I don’t like about this place. No offense but y’all can definitely do better than this. They were done in 1.5 hrs thankfully

So me and my wife just recently went in and purchased a car there and we were taking advantage of and was told things came with the car that we were charged for after telling the sales man naveed repeatedly that we wanted are down payment to go towards the principal naveed and the finance guy luke put are money towards a over priced ceramic coating after telling me and my wife it came with the car and a warranty that we told him we didn’t want. Then i spoke with the manager and nothing was done nor did he try to do anything to make it right other than telling us we can cancel the warranty and refinance the new amount. Luke never once went over anything and had a conversation about everything other than the paperwork while he was adding things that we didn’t ask for and things he said came with the car. I will take some accountability because I should have looked over that contract thoroughly before I left and with that being said stay away from here because they will not care nor will they hold there employees accountable for their actions, unethical practices and total disregard for people patronizing their business. Please don’t do what I did and trust these people to be honest with you look over every single inch of your paperwork.

But what if you get an out-of-the-world customer service in addition to that. That’s cherry on the cake!Enter Lauren Jarvis.It was 7pm on a Monday. We went to the Hyundai dealer to look for our first EV. Lauren greeted us like we were her first customers of the day - with energy, smile, willingness to help - everything she’d give to her first customer. Her knowledge on the EV was top notch. She drew comparison points for us for various EV products and the various options within those and laid them out on the table. She compared and contrasted features of the various EVs Hyundai has (they’re awesome by the way).There were some specials on the Hyundai website for the month of February which obviously were no longer applicable in March. She respected what we saw on the website site and was willing to work with us. She won our business right there. She quickly crated various financial plans for us that would fit our budget and worked hard with her manager and their manager to get all of the options laid out for us. I’ll admit, car buyers can be demanding. We were. She didn’t give up. She made us feel she was on our side. She worked with us on every little think we wanted from the buying experience and the car.Meanwhile it was late. Our kid was hungry and there was school the next day. Lauren heard us talk about grabbing dinner on the way. She promptly reached out to her bag and offered every single thing she brought for her self. Our kid obviously took the chips :-) She didn’t have to do that for us - remember she was in our shoes from the get-go? She wasn’t really forcing us to buy a car but she was willing to work with us in her actions, intent and knowledge. That is what is needed to win businesses and hearts! We could’ve walked out without making a decision really that night because it was getting late and we had our typical Monday that day. Her commitment to helping and serving us as her customers made us so much comfortable to make the decision right there.The next day I had some questions and I texted her cell as she shared her cell with us and mentioned we could reach out. I needed some information urgently to make a decision on getting my EV station setup. She responded within a minute. - it was her day off that day but she did not hesitate to be kind and respond to our questions.Customers have innumerable choices today when it comes to a car. The vehicle industry is very product driven as it should be. Imagine working with someone like Lauren who adds tremendous amount of human touch for one of the most important investments youre about to make. We started our shopping at a more local Hyundai dealer where we fell in love with the Ioniq 6, but this dealership’s inventory was quite limited. Our next stop was Diablo Hyundai where we not only found an extensive inventory, but also met Adil, a friendly, low key, extremely knowledgeable sales person. Adil showed us several cars, and when we had narrowed it down to the car and color we wanted, he assured us he would be able to have the car available the next day. We made the decision to purchase the car and Adil and his associates made the process quick and easy; he was open to our negotiations and understanding of our needs, including our time limitations; with courtesy, respect and efficiency, we completed the transaction within about forty five minutes. Additionally, the finance team came through quickly, and Sam of the post sales customer service team was helpful in setting up our Hyundai accounts. On 12/30/23, Naveed and I had discussed and agreed to a deal to purchase a Palisade Caligraphy, over the phone. Approximately 30 minutes later, I texted him to let him know how far away I was and he responded, “Vehicle has sold.” I called Naveed and he of course didn’t answer. When he finally did call me back, he said “I know I told you that, but you can’t enforce it because you hadn’t sign a contract yet.” Naveed completely missed the point. I was going to litigate with him for selling it to someone else, the point was that we had an agreement and I was driving down to purchase the vehicle when he sold it to someone else. Very unprofessional and it says a lot about the character of the dealership. In hindsight, it was probably a blessing I didn’t buy from Dublin Hyundai. I found one in Tracy later that day and actually purchased it for $1500 less.

I asked the dealership for a clearer copy of my agreement. I messaged them, I emailed, I called 10 times, and I even went in person to ask over the course of 2 weeks! It was impossible to get a hold of anyone. Nobody ever returned my calls or messages. When I went in person, someone promised to get me a new copy the next day but never did. Then I couldnt get anyone on the phone again. They simply dont seem to care about helping me. Its easy to be available when someone wants to buy a car. A good dealership takes care of you down the line. This is not a good dealership.I really wish I didnt buy a car here. The car is nothing special. There are 5 other comparable cars out there for similar price. Id get one of those if I could do this over again.

Dealership needs serious updating. Service center is an island. Sat in my car for 10 minutes no one came out. Theres also no service window you have to open a patio door and there are a few of them. I did that and not a single person asked me if they could help me. I was blown away at the poor level of service. Finally, a brand new employee, in training, approached me and asked what they could help me with. I brought them out to the car and it was a Genesis, so he had no idea what my warning light meant. He was very friendly and said that he would go get somebody to help me. I waited 15 more minutes before anyone came out. Finally, somebody approached him and took a look at the issue and told me what it was. I have never in all of my years of owning a car had this poor of an experience. Treat you like a friend when buying, but once you sign that paper, forget about it. Was telling them that there was issues with my brand new car only a few days after I bought it.They said, its common, happens all the time. If it was still happening when I brought it in for its 1st service, they would take a look. The second I brought it in for service, the mechanic already knew what the problem most likely was. Then the dealership wanted to overcharge me.I had to get into an aggressive nature to remind him that he gave me his word. Took them an extra 2 hours to wait for approval from the manager. I had over $7,000 of optional charges for extended warranties and paint coating added to my final bill, even though I had stated that I did not want the extras. I managed to get some of the charges removed, but I was told that the $2,000 for the paint coating could not be removed. I was unable to pick up the vehicle at the agreed-upon time, on a Saturday, because the keys had been lost. I was told that the vehicle would be delivered to me No later than Wednesday. I received a call Wednesday night, asking me when I wanted to pick up the vehicle, because it couldnt be delivered. I arranged to pick it up on Saturday morning, a week-and-a-half after the purchase and a full week after the originally scheduled pick-up. When my wife and I arrived the vehicle wasnt ready. We waited from 9:00 AM until Noon and it still wasnt ready. We asked if there was a car that we could use to go to lunch, because our trade-in had already been driven away, and we were told that we could use the car that we were purchasing when it was ready. we had to take an Uber to lunch, at a cost of $40, and when we got back, at 1:30PM, we still had an hour of procedures to complete before we could leave. We were finally given the key to the car, and when I asked for the second key I was told that the dealer didnt have it and I would have to come back for it at a later date (I live an hour from the dealership). This information was not volunteered to us, even though we had been told that the keys cost $1,000 each. If I had not noticed at the time and demanded that there be a record of the missing key, in writing, it would have just been another $1,000 mistake that I would have had to live with.

I rarely give negative review and this review is for service department. I usually give my Hyundai Sonata for service here all the time since 2020 after moving to Pleasanton, CA. Recently I observed that my car tires are not rotated every time I give my car for service. Also, most of the times I pay for the preferred category of service. I installed brand new tires in ~02/22 and now the treading is almost gone for the front tires while the back tires treading look brand new. As a customer I expect the service department to check the tread of tires and do rotation ( Or else update me about the uneven treading between front/rear if wheel rotation is charged extra and not part of preferred service ).In the past 2 years I gave my car for 4+ times for servicing which is equal to 20,000 miles of driving. I am not informed even a single time until I figured it out myself. We rely on the service department to identify any kind of problem that need attention. And Dublin Hyundai failed terribly in identifying that. And this makes me think what kind of service they provided for the things that are not visible or easily accessible to customer car.The customer service may or may not respond to this review. But even if they respond, damage is already done to my tires and to the trust I have towards their service.

Had a great experience finding my new car! Got a 2022 Santa Fe and love it. Was assisted immediately and taken care of from beginning to end with all questions answered. All staff very knowledgeable and considerate. I know most have a negative experience with care sales, but this was the complete opposite. Staff was very respectful and patient. The process was seamless and painless. Gabriel was our salesman and was fantastic and very personable. Ask for him when you go!

Unfortunately, my experience with Dublin Hyundai was extremely disappointing. Despite several assurances that I would receive a call back, I never received any follow-up, even after leaving messages on their voicemail. As a customer, I value businesses that prioritize communication and follow-through, and this was not my experience with Dublin Hyundai. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone in good conscience, and I would advise others to proceed with caution if considering doing business with them.

I realize that car dealerships make the majority of their money on service and repairs, but this dealership is ludicrous. No communication except for a text regarding $5k in additional “emergency” fixes. There is one person “assigned” to fix our vehicle and he took three days off so we have to wait for him to return? I have called multiple times and keep getting a run around and passed off to voicemail.

Aaron helped me and my wife buy a certified pre owned Ioniq and the overall experience was ok, but nothing to write home about. Less than a week later, our car breaks down on the side of the highway on one of the hottest days of the year. Without any reasonable tow service available without having to pay a bunch out of pocket, we were able to get to a charge station and waited about 3 hours to get sufficient charge to make it home. Took it to Tracy Hyundai a few days later and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem, but they did let me know that there was overspray and the rear panel was definitely changed meaning it was in some type of unreported collision (Carfax was clean). Ive been trying to get ahold of a manager over there to address my concern of: either there was no 173 point inspection done, or there was one and they just chose to overlook the fact that the car was in a collision. Tried calling multiple times and they wont call me back. Will try to get there this week to see them in person, but this level of customer service is laughable to say the least. STAY AWAY!
