A popular destination for quick grocery shopping when picking up a nice dessert or too-tired-to-cook dish at $12.00 a pound. A bit of an epicurean feel that deserves more time and attention to visit. Very friendly atmosphere and employees to make chitchatting visitors loyal. Prices are on the upper echelon for the upper echelon.

I came to this store several times all is good, they have one way aisle, I got it but he stopped me when I get into the wrong way, a white guy ahead me is ok, he didn’t say anything! This is a high quality grocery store. It is not that big, but they manage to have a good selection of high quality items. Great produce, meat, wine/beer and chocolate stand out. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its more expensive than bigger chains but you cant beat the quality.

They have a wonderful selection of foods and party supplies. Lots of special treats from around the world. We discovered items that you cant find anywhere else, like salt and vinegar popcorn. The store is extremely clean and very organized. Friendly staff.

In this market Worst behavior for some employees especially some people in cashout section . They behaves very cheap, they are treating with customers good and they treating with third party shoppers they behaviour is too worst . This is not good, if your working with some particular company you need to maintain some rules and respects with others . Much more cheese and deli items than before the remodel. But the outside seating is same as before: maybe itll change after a few months. Ive seen some real Karen clientele here so go easy on the staff theyre really nice.

Large and well stocked. Since I seldom shop at this location, I asked for assistance. The young person who provided it was very knowledgeable and courteous, not merely reciting aile numbers, but actually guiding me to the proper locations. Adequate parking and several disabled spaces proximate tothe main entrance.

My family has been shopping here for many years. They have high quality meats and deli foods, as well as outstanding cakes and baked goods. Prices are generally pretty high for groceries, but generally on par with other high-end grocery stores. The only thing I suggest getting else where is fresh produce since there isnt a big selection here. Check out De Martini on San Antonio for produce!

Draegers is a high-end grocery store with fine foods, fine meats, an outstanding selection of cheeses, a great deli and a very good bakery. When Im looking for a special treat, as well as shopping for general groceries, I go to the Draegers in Los Altos (there is also a Draegers in Menlo Park). Nothing in this store is second rate. The produce is very good, the dairy selection is excellent, the meat department features high quality meats and several skilled butchers who are knowledgeable and good at their profession. The bread sold there is always fresh. There is a large selection of wines and other libations, and there is a candy aisle that features jelly beans, gummy bears and many other sweets that are not normally found in standard grocery stores like Safeway, Lucky Market or Nob Hill. Parking is easy and safe with just a short walk to the stores front door. I never have a problem finding a place to park. Finally, the staff there are pleasant, helpful and engaging. I always enjoy shopping at Draegers and I think you will too.

Not customer loyalty oriented. They could be doing more. One of the pies we ordered had smudged up whip cream on the last small size version. They offered for us to buy the large, but we wanted the small. We asked if we could at least get a discount. The guy serving us was very nice. After he checked with the manager, the answer was no. Disappointing, Id think they would use customer service to gain loyalty. We had bought some pies the day before and trying to support the smaller less mainstream chains. Disappointing they they werent more customer loyalty oriented as Ive seen in other small chains. I felt it was a bit short sighted of the manager.

I really love this store. This place is great if you want organic and healthy food around the Los Altos area.Just recently, they opened a new Safeway about two blocks away from Draegers, and so a lot of business will be going to this Safeway. However, I really love the meat and seafood selection at Draegers as its so much more fresh and the service is much better.The food here is all really great (premade). The mashed potatoes are extremely creamy and delicious. And the artichokes are great as well!

Ive visited three times now and each time, Im insanely impressed.Dont come here buying your doritos and soda, seek the value hidden within.Elk, venison, sweetbreads, rendered chicken fat and organic lard! AHHHDO NOT SLEEP on the hot foods either. Get there early and get a slice of the prime rib. The prime rib here is to die for, absolute STEAL for the price compared to a restaurant, especially when youre getting restaurant quality prime rib.The kobe pastrami? Ive lived in new york, and after being spoiled by authentic jewish pastrami for years this is definitely THE BEST pastrami on the west coast ive ever had.The fresh juices are also amazing, youll never go back to normal orange juice again. You must try the fresh squeezed orange juice!The last thing? Bakery and sweets, the pate fruits are amazing and they seem to change day to day because Ive got different fruits each time I went. Im positively addicted and I have to admit that the meat and grocery purveyors here are TOP NOTCHA+, definitely shop here

Came to order a sandwich. Was looked at and ignored for around 10 minutes until someone from the cake section came over and asked one of the ignorants to serve me.I ordered a prime rib sandwich which came to 15 bucks with tax. It had a measly portion of meat and the Dutch crunch roll was old. Not a hint of crunch. Ill never go here again. Expensive joke.

Draegers has consistently high quality, a great bakery section, fresh produce, great meat / fish / deli, and one of the best cheese and wine selections in the area. Their in house brand is great - the red wine vinegar is a fantastic value. They keep their employees (who are all very pleasant and helpful) for years, so it must be a nice place to work, which speaks volumes.

The worst customer service. I am an instacart shopper. They are stressing me in every single step. Mike is the worst manager in the world. So rude and are not friendly. I am shopping for your customers. And I am your customer too. I was. I will never go shopping here. And all my friends will know about this store. Btw, the cashier (an old lady in glass) very confused me with the orders. They said I was stole her 15 minutes while paying for the orders. The real time 2 minutes and 3 seconds - the time I spent for diving three orders. My app thacks my work. If I were an owner of this store, I would fire all that staff with a terrible manager named Mike.

Draegers is a great grocery store. They have a wide selection of amazing things. Great cheese - want aged gruyere or epoisses? The carry a good selection of mushrooms, and will have chanterelles or morels seasonally as available, and truffles during the holidays. They have nice wine and nice meat. Ive been able to get odd-ball out of the way items, like sourghum, that I otherwise would have had to order on the internet. Their deli and prepared foods are good. Their bakery is great. The people are friendly and helpful. I should caution, all this goodness comes at a price - its not cheap.

2 words: organic corn! Not even Whole Foods has it. Also: truffles (when in season), chanterelles, a lot of weird and wonderful chocolates from all over the world, rare canned foods section, special canned preserves and jams. The butters section is nuts. They used to have self rising flour (it was from General Mills but, with the latest E-coli scare, they may have taken it off the shelves). I saw very different products compared to WF or Trader Joes. The baking section has all the types of sprinkles you can think of, differently themed cake decorations from sports gadgets to musical candles, to mini paper umbrellas for cocktail glasses, to marzipan logs for shaping, food coloring, lemon essence. One downside: prices.

The Los Altos store let me down! This is a very upscale grocery store. I catered an event with some of their hors doeuvres and was so disappointed in Draegers. The manager way oversold me on quantities. The local gourmet cheese platters were blocks of cheese we had no way of cutting, and the bacon wrapped pineapple was uncooked, raw bacon-YUCK. If I had had more experience in event planning Im sure I would have been ok, JUST SAYIN...
