Dr Sung was my doctor right from the time I was admitted to USC Arcadia hospital for a fractured toe. He did my surgery and everything went great. Its been about 6 months since my accident and I still go into the office for routine monthly visits. My toe is healing great and healing faster then expected. I contribute my speedy recovery to all the tips and advice Dr Sung has provided throughout the recovery. The office staff is great, never rude like a lot of other doctor offices I visit. Its fairly easy to get appointment times which is a big deal. Overall, no complaints and I look forward to running again in the near future.

I saw Dr Sung for a bone spur in my heel. Amy was very nice to get me in right away and they took X-rays of my foot. He gave me an injection and it feels so much better. I was super scared of the injection but it actually didn’t hurt! Now I’m walking again, no problem.

Dr C. Lee was efficient in removing the ingrown toenail for my son. She was sure handed and asked several times if he felt pain or pressure abd provide the necessary administration for the pain. Dr. Lee was clear on the options and aftercare. We highly recommend Dr. C. Lee.

I just returned home from seeing Dr. Sung for a foot problem. Excellent care hands down. The receptionist was both efficient and friendly, keeping me informed while in the waiting room.Dr. Sung is exactly what I wanted in a health care practitioner. He is very knowledgeable and certainly appears to enjoy educating his patients. He was able to make the diagnosis of my issue and provide immediate treatment. He has a soothing demeanor and you do not feel rushed at all. He encouraged me to email with any questions and stated emails would be answered within 24 hours (except on weekend). It is obvious that excellent patient care is a priority to Dr. Sung. If you need a podiatrist, take it from this nurse of 40+ years - Dr. Sung is the best.

Dr. Sung is amazing! This is the first time I had work done on my foot and he was so attentive and kind. I was very nervous about my procedure but he took the time to explain everything to me and communicated with me throughout the whole process. He made sure to answer every question I had and was so hospitable that I left my appointment laughing and smiling. I can definitely see why he’s so highly rated. Excellent care and he did a wonderful job on my procedure. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I am definitely recommending Dr. Sung to my friends and family. The front desk was amazing as well. They helped me work through my insurance issues and did everything they could to get me into my appointment. Such amazing staff all around. I cannot praise them enough.

I was a little nervous about my appointment, but I shouldnt have been. The woman at the front desk was efficient and sweet, and Dr. Sung is friendly and warm. He figured out my problem right away and two days later Im already experiencing much less pain thanks to his simple and effective recommendations. Also, his website makes it very easy to schedule an appointment and print out new patient forms to really streamline the entire visit. I highly recommend Dr. Sung.

Dr. Sung was recommended by my primary care physician. I had my first appointment with him yesterday and echo all the praise (listens to patients, gives multiple options for treatment, goes right to work on the issue, etc.) that others have said in their reviews. I would be remiss not to mention his staff. Not surprisingly they mirror everything thats said about the doc. Dr. Sung and his staff straight up rock and are cool people. I highly recommend him.

He showed no hesitation in ensuring all the insurance red tape would be taken care of so we could focus on treatment. SO glad I visited Dr. Sung. Visited him for the first time to get another opinion. Based on a different doctor, I absolutely needed surgery. Dr. Sung gave me plenty of options and found alternative ways to both manage the pain and prevent it from getting worse rather than jumping into surgery. Saved me thousands and more importantly, saved me the hassle of being in a boot for 2-3 months. Highly recommend as he is an honest, knowledgeable, polite, kind, and professional doctor.Staff is friendly and plenty of parking on site. Also, making an appointment online was easy and efficient.

I had been suffering with foot pain in my left arch for 2-3 weeks. After seeing my family doctor, he recommended I see a Podiatrist. Went online to search the reviews and found Dr. Sung who had excellent ratings - almost all 5 stars. Went to their website to make appointment and got an email confirmation for the very next day! Was even able to download the new patient forms from their website and fill them out at home to bring with me for my appointment the next morning. The office staff was friendly, caring and efficient. Dr. Sung saw me at my appointed time (no waiting), examined my foot, and we discussed my problem. He was attentive (not dismissive like so many other doctors) and took the time to answer all of my questions. I didnt feel rushed. Turned out it wasnt as serious as I imagined. He wrapped my foot with an arch support, gave me instructions, and told me to come back in two weeks. So I made a follow-up appointment with the great staff and was on my way. This was one of my best (if not the best) experiences with a new doctor and staff that Ive ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Sung and his office staff. Ive only been here one time, but it definitely was a 5-star experience.

Dr. Sung is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met in my 40 years of consulting with doctors concerning my familys health. During our first visit in August 2016, I made a comment that it was true what patients are telling about him in their reviews, that he was really a 5-star caliber doctor. He explained to my wife who planned in having a foot surgery the detailed procedures he would be performing on the day of the surgery to correct her bunion. After performing the surgery, he immediately approached me and told me that everything went well as expected. Every time we visit, he would explain what is going on in her recovery, including the X-ray results. Although we live about 2 hours from his medical practice, we did not mind the drive through heavy traffic because we knew that at the end of the day, Dr. Sung will take good care of my wife. I will not hesitate to recommend him to anybody who needs his expertise in correcting foot problems. Our heartfelt thanks also go to his most capable staff (Amy and Alicia) who patiently listened to our insurance needs and resolved any problem that came our way.

One doesnt usually enjoy a visit to a doctor but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Sung. His knowledge, experience, bedside manor, and advice were all top notch. I cant recommend highly enough. The office staff were very friendly and professional as well. I hope to not have to go back for the medical reason but wouldnt go anywhere else should the need arise.

Dr. Sung took his time with me and didn’t rush to get me out when my session went past their business hours. He answered all my questions and didn’t push me to get surgery done or sell his services. He even informed me that I could email him with any concerns with supporting facts (pictures) to avoid having to pay him for a visit that could have been handled through email! How can one office have two such great doctors? Since I was told I would be seeing Dr. Sung Ive been more than pleased with his care. He quickly, gently and expertly corrects my feet problems along with giving excellent advice and medical recommendations. He even took time during the 2015 Special Olympics Summer World Games L.A. to volunteer in the Healthy Feet venue checking athletes feet. I highly recommend Dr. Wenjay Sung. What a fine gentleman.

I will be surprised if this review goes public. Can it be true this doctor only treated US rudely? It was because of good reviews we selected WS. Our experience with him was very disappointing. He is barely able to answer questions about treatment. If he can make a 5 minute consultation hes controlled and tolerant. His bedside manner needs serious re-educating. It was shocking how defensive he was. He kept telling us he wasnt present when the injury took place so he couldnt offer comment on that. That had nothing to do with our question. As we have very little medical experience with this foot problem we had to ask questions. He had the nerve to tell us he had other patients,youre an adult you know what to do..... We will be seeking another doctor.

Dr. Sung is FANTASTIC. I have seen different doctors for orthotics/custom made inserts, and Dr. Sung is one of the best. He helped me find the best fit for me and even better, he taught me how to walk better so I wont have to rely on hard orthotics all the time. I can now use the medium-soft one, which has more give to my feet, and I love that. Dr Sung is also kind and listens to my concerns and help me figure out what is best for me. Oh, and he is one of the few doctors who uses the new modern 3D measurement. Pretty cool. Highly recommending him!!!

This office is fantastic! I was greeted by Alicia and Amy who were extremely kind, thorough and attentive with bright smiling faces. Then you meet Dr. Sung and you get the same treatment. Open, honest and personable. I came in for concerns of flat feet and bunions. He had a look and gave me great insight about what I could do to ensure they don’t get worse and how to make them better with some exercises. He also gave me a great recommendation for orthotics. If you need a podiatrist, you’ve found the right one!

I had a situation with my foot for a long time, and fortunately for me, I was finally recommended to this very capable Podiatrist/Surgeon Dr. Wenjay Sung by my PCP. Dr. Sung did excellent work with my foot. He not only removed the spur, but also recreated the tendon which was severely damaged, and solved all of my foot problems. Now I can walk with ease. He took pride in his work. This knowledgeable fellow has a very pleasant manner and attitude. He is a careful listener absorbing all of my foot difficulties never pushing me away. He made me quite comfortable, and the degree of care I received was second to none. Would I go back to him again for assistance? Sure. Would I recommend others to him? Positively yes. I would give him 5 stars, but I think he deserves much more.

I had a broken sewing needle tip stuck inside the bottom of my foot and a friend of mine recommended I see Dr. Sung. I was expecting a long sit-down and a talk about where and when to schedule a surgery, but when I met him he just went straight to business and started the small procedure on the spot. He took it out in about 10 minutes (including the wait time for the anesthesia to kick in). He is personable, explains everything, and is fast!

I injured my foot while on vacation out of State. I visited Urgent Care and they told me to ice and wrap it. After a week of intense pain I called Dr. Sung. To my amazement I was able to get an appointment that day. Dr. Sung took X-Rays and found a fracture. He explained to me all the possible scenarios which I truly appreciated. I’m hoping for the best but if I require further treatment I know I am in good hands.

I searched high and low for the right specialist after going to convenient care just days before and being told that I didn’t need xrays right away, that my foot was not broken and I should just go home to ice and elevate. Once I arrived to Dr. Sung, immediately we did xrays only to discover a bone fractured in TWO places! He proceeded to provide proper home and diet instructions, and prescribed a medical boot. Dr. Sung is amazingly personable and extraordinarily professional! He’s a keeper for sure ! 😉

As far as foot doctors go, this is the place.The experience starts with the phone call when setting up the appointment. Amy, who runs the office will find the right time and day for you as well as welcome with an awesome smile you when you get there. They recommended a walking boot even though it turned out to be a completely different issue. Almost a year later I get a bill for the walking boot because insurance didnt cover most of it. Either a misdiagnosis on Dr Sungs part or and easy money making opportunity.I left a similar statement on their Yelp account to express my dissatisfaction. Jay from their staff proceeded to respond with a condescending attitude and false statements. First he claimed I didnt pay my bill for over a year. The bill was only sent to me a year later after the doctor saw me. The bill literally arrived in my mailbox on the day my initial Yelp review was made. So clearly their staff and billing are incompetent.Second, Jay implied that I should have gotten a better PPO and I wouldnt have had these problems. Thats laughable because Ive never had these issues with any HCP or clinical office before. Again, a clear reflection of their office incompetence. Moreover, would you expect a healthcare provider to be so callous in response to a patient? Imagine if I was someone who only had an HMO or Medicare/Medicaid, or didnt have the money to pay out of pocket.Third, he assumed that Dr Sung actually treated me for something. After telling him that I only went a couple of times and found a dermatologist who actually provided the correct treatment, he claimed falsely that they had coordinated treatment. I contacted the dermatologists office who said they never did such a thing and wouldnt share records without my permission.Fourth, I am baffled why a business would take so much time to respond to a negative review in such a condescending tone and passive aggressive behavior. In his Yelp commentary, Jay said telling people bend over and take it is not a pro-tip. So there you have it. They are basically saying they are always right, and the patient never comes first. Forget about listening to the patients concerns, but attack them immediately when your ego is threatened.

My general doctor sent me to Dr. Sung for my ingrown toenail. I was scared that I was going to have an infection and lose my toenail. I was surprised how quick and nice he was. He gave me several options and I chose to take antibiotics. I feel better now and it was an excellent choice to see him.

Being a director/videographer/photographer/dancer Im on my feet a lot! Caring more about style then comfort I always seemed to choose shoes that were bad for my feet. After developing some excruciating pain in my toes, Dr. Wenjay Sung saw me and my visit with him was professional and quick. We established the root of the problem and he was able to offer great advice on how to remedy my pain and avoid future problems.
