I have visited Dr. Peatman six times now for chronic soft tissue pain and dysfunction. He is attentive, knowledgeable, and great with targeted lidocaine and cortisone shots. He also had a hunch about nerve impingement in my neck which, after doing in-house imaging at his office, was proven correct.The fact that Dr. Peatman used to do surgery is clear in the quality of his work. Ive made more progress on my chronic issues with him than with anyone in the last 10 years. Very highly recommended.

I returned to Dr. Peatman seven years after he performed a partial replacement on my right knee - an unqualified success - hoping for help with other issues.In the meantime I had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and developed hip bursitis, a cranky left knee, and severe back pain. We have solved all three orthopedic problems over the last year and I couldn’t be happier! He has made it his mission to keep me moving, which is critical,with Parkinson’s, and does so with humor and compassion. What a godsend!

Dr. Peatman is both friendly and professional. He listens to my questions and concerns, he treats me with respect and courtesy, he answers all my questions and suggests options for dealing with different issues, (last but not least) he did an excellent job replacing my hips. Both surgeries went really well, with minimal recovery time needed. Im really pleased with all of his service.

Im seeing Dr. Peetman for mild to severe osteoarthritis on both knees. I have this condition for more than 15 years and started seeing him more than a year ago for secondary opinion for knee replacement because my insurance stopped covering a treatment and i ended up staying with him. I found him very personable and like his communication style (taking time and at the right pace), and his good clinical advice/options for my case. He also has experience in operating with precision robotic system for knee surgery at the San Ramon Regional Hospital.

I went to Dr. Peatman for pain in right hip. He was recommended to me by a number of physicians; Neighbor who had two hip replacements; and my husband who had a full knee replacement. He is personable and a good listener. He recommended treatment plan that didn’t require surgery.

I wish I could give Dr Peatman and his staff 6 stars. Ive had an ongoing difficult issue with my hip and knee and have been to a lot of doctors. Dr Peatman was the first doctor that actually listened to me and the first to actually try to figure out what was wrong, rather than giving up or saying theres nothing wrong with me. He always treated me with kindness and compassion and it made all the difference.His PA Brian, the imaging staff, and the front desk staff are all so kind and friendly as well. My only complaint is that it can be a long wait to speak to someone and can be difficult to get someone to call you back about issues, but they are such a busy office that it makes sense.

He is kind, caring, and works with a patient to develop the best possible plan for care taking into consideration all available options. An outstanding orthopedic surgeon, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Thomas Peatman. He has replaced both of my hip joints with no problems, relatively little time to recover, and minimal pain after the surgery. His “soft skills” as in his bedside manner, could however be improved. For my own peace of mind, I needed to see him while in my hospital bed after the surgery, but he was unable or unwilling to visit me...thus only 4 stars.

Dr. Peatman is a very thoughtful and intelligent orthopedic surgeon. My interactions with him have been very informative. He also went the extra mile to personally make calls to determine coverage etc., even as I sat in his office. Some frustrating nonsense and it was not resolved right then, but at least he tried, which is more than many physicians seem willing to do these days. He is methodical in his approach to rule out and identify the problem. I hope 🤞 to resolve my ongoing issue with his help, it’s critical to my being able to stay active.

Dr. Peatman is an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon-my surgeries have been super successful. In 2013 I had my right hip replaced and in 2015 my left hip was replaced. The recovery for both surgeries was short and way above expectations. Dr. Peatman and his staff provide excellent care.In 2018 Dr. Peatman replaced my right knee-again the recovery was shorter than expected and my knee is back to normal. I recommend Dr. Peatman to all my friends that are considering hip or knee replacements. He is the BEST!

Excellent preparation before and after my knee replacement. Did 2 moths daily exercises prep physical and mental through a special app . Doctor recommended this.After replacement excellent personal after care .good office coordinating .Pleasant doctor. Did an amazing job . Use of new tools. Highly recommend him . The second I walked into the door of Webster Orthopedic I was welcome with great customer service and attention. They made it easy in completing their application for new patients. I didnt know the application was so long. My reservation with first time visit is filling out a medical and health life history. The two beautiful girls at the front desk ( one name Samantha ) were helpful in moving me along so not to hold up the doctor. My progression from the front lobby to have x-rays and then to meet with the doctor was brief. Consulting with the doctor about my condition were analyze and near perfect. I only say near perfect because I have question I didnt think of asking the doctor until I walked out the door. I want to thank the other receptionist at the front desk; my apologies for not getting your name. I certainly want to thank Dr Thomas Peatman for seeing me, reviewing my x-rays and my physical self. It was Dr Peatman clarity and assessment that ease a critical wondering about my diagnostic.

Cortisone shot in my right knee yesterday was painless and effective immediately. Kneecap area was getting worse over the last few months and Dr Peatman put the shot in exactly where it needed to go. He has been treating my shoulders, knees,a r. hip for almost 3 years... excellent care to this 30 year fire department veteran!

Dr. Peatman most recently repaired my knee by performing a microfracture surgery. I wasnt able to walk without crutches for about three months prior to the surgery. It is easy to take things for granted but I dont take having access to such a high caliber surgeon who cares about his patients and the community. I am grateful!

From the moment I checked in for my appoint l was treated with the upmost safety and kindness. The receptioninst was patient, caring and very respectful. The stanoghgfer who performed my xrays was patient and kind also.I noticed how the stranogher spoke to the patient leaving his exmaine prior to my examine. I over heard how he spoke to the patient leaving, I said to myself, wow everybody here seems so kind. They santize the room after each vist. Of course that helped ease my anxiety. Then l met Dr Peatman. One of the first things he said was, Im going to make you feel better. He showed genuine corncern about my well being. He explained the diagnois and explained the best options for treatment. I cant express how blessed I am to have him as my doctor. He follows up with you to check on your progress. I would recommend anyone that has a need for an orthopedic to go see Dr. Peatman. Hes the best!!!

The only thing o did not like was his anesthesiologist I think he should have discussed my options and he did zero follow up at the hospital and I requested to see himAnd never showed . After a torn left labrum in my hip Dr Peatman performed surgery, and I’ve not experienced any problems since. Plus, there’s little to no visible scarring.He asked me about 20 times if I ‘really want to do this...’ so I was 100% positive about my decision, without ever leading me in one direction, or another.He’s very upfront and helpful as well.

I was concerned about the length of my hospital stay. I call Dr Peatman’s office to make sure I wouldn’t be forced to leave the hospital within 24 hours.
