Let me start off by saying it was nothing like I was expecting. I was still a bit nervous and honestly it was all for nothing. The whole process took less than 30 mins and it was completely PAINLESS! That’s right…PAINLESS!! It’s been a few days since my procedure and still no pain. There is a bit of discomfort which was to be expected but nothing that is not manageable. I wanted to thank Dr. Benderev and staff, like most men I was super nervous with the procedure, the morning of I asked my wife if I could cancel. I was nervous as ever. As soon as I got the the facility I was greeted and they were ready for me. Procedure took 15-20 minutes. Dr. explained what was going to happen step by step. Absolutely no pain, a little pressure here and there but I was in shock when he said all done. Best part is he tells you and gives you a one sheeter of all that could happen in case you freak out and get some pain. He has texted and called me to check in which is almost unheard of. I would recommend DR. Benderev to all the guys out there considering this procedure. We drove an hour and a half and glad we made that decision.
Extremely simple and very professional. If anyone is on the fence about a vasectomy don’t worry at all. The entire procedure took about 10 minutes or less. All my nerves were quickly put to ease. Dr. Benderev explained every step of the process.There is some mild discomfort but Dr. Benderev does such a good job that you don’t even realize what’s going on. I had a wonderful experience having my vasectomy completed by Dr. Benderev. The procedure itself seemed to take no more than 10 minutes. The way he uses no needle and no scalpel prevented me from feeling any pain or discomfort throughout the entire procedure. He went over the procedure with me before hand and explained everything thoroughly. When he started the procedure we had a conversation that extended throughout the entire procedure and when he said the procedure was completed I couldnt believe it. So quick and easy. Recently completed my appointment. Setting it up was very easy. The telecom pre appointment was very convenient. I was very nervous the day of but the staff and Dr were amazing. I was talked through everything that was happening and the procedure was nearly painless. Now on day 2 of recovery after following Drs instructions and feel perfectly fine. Guys, don’t let your wives tie their tubes. This procedure was so quick and easy with minimal soreness. 5 days removed and I feel 100%. I have not experienced any swelling. One small bruise and minimal pain/discomfort. Nothing a little ice and advil can’t resolve.The experience in the office was fantastic. Fantastic experience. If youre looking to get this procedure done, I could not recommend Dr. Benderev highly enough. Dr. Benderev is calm, patient and walks you through every step of the procedure, which is very quick and relatively painless. Post procedure, I had so little discomfort, I didnt even bother with any pain medicine. Plus, the doctor gives plenty of follow-up, which is nice because there are always questions.My only advise is to make sure you read and remember all of pre-procedure directions! For most guys, the idea of the procedure is going to make you a bit anxious, and its only going to be worse if you forgot about something you needed before the procedure begins. Four days later, Im feeling great, with nothing more than a tiny mark that could pass for a shaving nick. Its almost as if nothing happened.The whole visit was super quick, too—I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Plus, the staff was fantastic and handled everything with the utmost professionalism.So, if youre on the fence, I hope my story eases your mind. Dr. Benderev and his team are top-notch.
In and out in 30 minutes, but actual procedure was about 10 minutes. He talks you through the whole process as he was performing it. The no needle no scalpel is the way to go. It did feel like a series of rubber band flicks but after the first one, you barely feel a thing. I was able to walk around right after the procedure with minimal discomfort, just need to be a little slower. Next day was about 90% back to normal and nothing a few ibuprofen/ice cant ease.Dr Benderev is worth the 1 hour drive there and 2 hours drive back on the 91 the day before Thanksgiving.
When you are ready to have the procedure done you need to have Dr. Benderev perform it. The whole process he makes it easy and communicates very well with each step. If you are worried that it hurts, it doesn’t the way he performs it. The reviews are right about him, very professional and all you would feel is a small flick. A few minutes later and you are done. After the decision of my wife and I not wanting anymore kids I decided it was time to take one for the team and pull the trigger in getting a vasectomy. After extensive research I stumble upon Dr. Benderev and I am so happy I did. Booking was a very easy task and the 15 minute virtual consultation explained everything that was to come and Dr. Benderev answered any questions I had. Once my appointment came I arrived at very nice clean office and was handed 2 extra strength Tylenol before the procedure. I was then shortly asked to come into the back and begin my procedure. The whole time Dr. Benderev explains everything he is doing step-by-step. I really appreciated how he was talking to me the whole time and distracted me during the whole procedure. I was very impressed with the way the anesthetic is administered. No needle and no pain. You only feel a small little pinch. The whole procedure took about 20-30 minutes. You feel absolutely no pain and only a little bit of pressure. Once I was done I was explained the care instructions and what was to come after. Dr. Benderev provides you with his personal cell in case if you have any questions and he responds in a very timely manner. I really appreciated that he has amazing bedside manners and you can tell he really cares for his patients. A couple hours after my procedure he was so kind to call me and check in how I was doing. I have never had that type of service with any doctor and that say so much. The whole experience has been so good and I recommend this office and Dr. Benderev 100 percent. Dr. Benderev is amazing! His style of procedure is virtually pain free! I was trying to downplay the whole fact of getting a vasectomy on friday. Everyone I told was shocked that I was willing to. After my wife delivered our second baby without an epidural there was no question in my mind! In fact, he even spent some time with my wife in the waiting room to answer any questions she had and told her exactly the process of he had just completed on me. The office staff Jasmine was very friendly and responsive to the messages that I left regarding scheduling and she did her best to accommodate my busy work schedule.3. The day of the procedure Dr. Benderev greeted my significant other and I and made us feel relaxed and his demeanor put us at ease. We knew at this point we had made the right decision to select him as my doctor.4. The actual procedure was quick about 10 minutes, all together I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes. All I felt was a slight rubber band snap but it wasnt painful at all. I was so nervous beforehand and it was literally painless. It took me longer to drive to the office than it did for the actual procedure.5. The recovery was very comfortable, I felt like Dr. Benderev had not performed any surgery at all. I followed his post op instructions exactly as prescribed. I feel the most important thing to do is rest and ice religiously every 20 minutes for two days. It does become monotonous, but I didnt have any pain or swelling and I know the ice played a big role. Follow the post op instructions and you will have an easy recovery.
I have to say, this is not something you ever are going to be excited about doing but I just had my appointment with Dr. Benderev on Friday (3 days ago) and what you’re imagining if is WAY worse than it is. Dr. Benderev was awesome during both the consultation and procedure and also made sure to take the time to talk to my finance and make sure she was up to speed as well. I was in and out in under 30 mins which included about 10 mins with the nurse after the procedure. I felt nothing during the procedure and even had a pleasant convo with Dr. Benderev. I was concerned about how rough it may be after the anesthesia wore off but even then I would call it mild discomfort and at no point actual pain. I’ve taken zero pain medication and just iced it in an off and aside from following the instructions to not do a whole lot, it really hasn’t impacted my life at all. Again, typically wouldn’t choose to spend my Friday night doing this but if you’re in this chapter of your life, don’t put your wife/so through a much worse procedure because this really wasn’t bad at all!
I can honestly say I will recommend Dr. Theodore to anyone that is considering getting a vasectomy. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out Dr Theodore made me feel very comfortable and was extremely informative throughout the procedure. I am impressed with his professionalism and his his ability to calm my nerves and even make me laugh after being so nervous and full of anxiety. As he said it would the process took 10-15 minutes and all I felt was a mild flick. It’s been 2 days since I had the procedure done and all I’ve had to take is some Tylenol and ice packs to help with the soreness and swelling. I could not have been happier with my experience.
Excellent experience!All the questions going through your head. Will there be complications? How much pain will I be in? Etc.The process was one quick 15 min remote video visit for assessment and ask any questions prior to procedure. Then the actual day of procedure was in and out of the office within 25 mins.Rest in bed for a couple days/ice, then take it easy for the rest of one week. Everyone is different but I personally took no OTC pain meds at all after surgery as I was experiencing no pain or discomfort at all and just followed the instructions from the doctor.Dr. Benderev was super kind, compassionate, and attentive to how his patients are feeling throughout this process and follows up personally with you after procedure when your at home resting.He’s a great guy and expert Doctor In the area of vasectomies and you can rest knowing you found the best.Thank you Dr. benderev!
Dr Benderev made this experience very easy. My anxiety was understandably high when I first walked in. The stigma that surrounds this procedure had me a little concerned. However, it turned out I had absolutely nothing to worry about, Dr Benderev explained everything as he worked. I felt no pain whatsoever and it was over in what felt like 10/15mins. The recovery has been fine. Ice every 20mins for the past 48hrs and I feel good. I used Tylenol which was easily enough for the tenderness . Such a cheap, easy, painless, quick procedure, compared to the invasive procedure female partners would have to go through. I can’t recommend Dr Benderev enough. After having 3 kids, my wife and I were done having children and I just needed to get the procedure done. I’ve been putting off this procedure for over 7 years and cannot understand why I waited so long.Naturally, this procedure can scare most but there is truly no reason to worry. From the initial zoom meeting, to his staff follow up and finally the actual procedure, the entire process was great. His bedside manner is second to none. We literally talked about random things during the entire procedure. When you read a number of reviews you will notice most making the statement that they could not believe how quick the procedure was. I’m here to fully vouch; that truly is the case. The actual administration of the anesthesia felt like a minor flick a few times on each side and that’s it. Before I could realize, the Doctor was already done. Even the after care was a non-issue. The key is to ice the area and rest. For those of you men that are worried about moving forward with this procedure, don’t be. Like I said before, I’ve literally postponed this for over 7 years and I wish I did not do that. Dr. Benderev is a true master at his craft and has his patient’s best interest in mind. Even if he was located in another state, I would have gladly taken the trip to see him.Thank you again Dr. Benderev!

Man where do I start, my experience was exactly what the other reviews described! I have Kaiser and this procedure wouldve cost me nothing thru my insurance, but I chose Dr Benderev for his experience and hundreds of 5 star reviews. Becasue I want the best for this! I was extremely nervous about it, but after talking with my wife, this procedure would be easier for me than having her done. And we have 5 kids so, we know we didnt want anymore! Man I cant say enough about Dr. Benderev tho, he makes you feel so calm. Very personable. We talked thru the whole thing. It was an amazing experience that took my nervousness completely away. As for the pain, well the most I felt was on the walk to the car at the parking structure. Than I really needed the ice pack they gave for the 1 hour ride home for me. I spent the rest of the day in bed watching tv. The next morning the soreness was barely there. Now, the 3rd day its still a little soar. Its not the surgery you actually feel, its a soreness like you were hit in the nuts and a small amount of that feeling remains a few days. Its definity not to worry about. I feel like I can work around the house even, but I know I shouldnt. But back to Dr Benderev, he knows 100% what he is doing and explains everything from beginning to end and during. I just wish I could tell every guy they should do this, how quick and easy it is and how itll change their relationship with their wife. Post procedure is sore on the firat day swollen on the second but better day by day after that. As long as you take care of yourself and take it easy on the bed with netflix youll be just fine!After discussing with my wife the pros/cons of both a vasectomy and having her tubes tied the obvious choice of less pain, recovery time, and potential for complication now and in the future was a vasectomy, so if your contemplating on which choice would be best look no further!

No needle anesthetics was fantastic for numbing, and Dr. Benderev made the process as comfortable as it could be. I cannot say enough about my experience here! From the initial consultation to the actual procedure I felt completely comfortable. During my initial consultation Dr. Benderev gave me a true overview of what was going to happen, he even played devils advocate and asked me if this was really what I wanted to do! I never felt pressured to complete the procedure, which direction to go, or felt like I was being sold on the idea. The day of the procedure I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from reception, waited only a few minutes, and was then walked into the procedure room. In the room it was just the Dr. and I. He reassured me that the procedure would go quick and smoothly, and he wasnt kidding. The entire procedure took all of 10 minutes to complete, and the only discomfort I felt was when the numbing spray was applied. Felt like a very light flick to the boys which made me jump a little, but after that flick, the procedure was completely painless! I left the office and drove myself home, expecting the worst was yet to come I laid down on the couch with my bag of peas. After 45 minutes with the peas, and no pain at all, I got up and did a few loads of laundry, worked at my desk, and made myself dinner. I did not in any way shape or form have any pain, discomfort, or achy-ness. There were several times I even forgot that I had the procedure at all! I definitely took it easy for the first 4 days but never once felt any pain at all. Day 5 I took my motorcycle out for a ride and still have no pain! The incision was smaller than an eraser and is barely visible. If you are ever thinking of having this procedure, please do yourself a favor and take this review to heart. He is the absolute best at it!! Speaking with friends who have had the procedure they all said they were down for 3-4 days, I thankfully chose the right doctor and had no pain at all! I got a vasectomy from Dr. Benderev and I didn’t expect that the two words I’d be using to describe the experience would be “pleasant” and “painless.” It was the best experience considering the level of anxiety I had coming into it. I’ll be recommending Dr. Benderev to all my friends (who need a vasectomy)!Before the big day, you do have a pre-consult with Dr. Benderev via video conference. Then you schedule a day for the procedure (all online), handle paperwork and are provided informational docs all online (super easy), and Jasmine was fantastic during this whole process.Coming into the office on the big day, once you check in at the front desk, they give you some extra strength Tylenol and some water. Then Dr. Benderev himself comes out to the waiting room and greets you before escorting you to the exam room. No hospital gown or anything. I was just instructed to take off my jacket and take out anything from my pockets, then I pulled my pants down to my knees and just sat in the operating chair. Then Dr. Benderev puts a heating pad on my area and, if I’m not wrong, it seemed the temperature in room was moderately warm and not cold. Btw, Dr. Benderev doesn’t use an assistant. It’s just you and him and that reduces a lot of the anxiety.Then Dr. Benderev is super calm and talks you through the whole process and chats with you. He first cleans the area and then applies local anesthetics using this tool that shoots out anesthetics at a high pressure into the area. NO NEEDLES involved. It just felt like someone was lightly flicking you down there. It wasn’t painful at all. From then, you really don’t feel anything. It was weird knowing that stuff was going on down there but it felt like you were just sitting there having a chat.Anyway, before you know it, the procedure is over. Dr. Benderev uses a no scalpel method so the procedure is minimally invasive and has very low risk of post op complications and has a speedier recovery time (no stitches involved). And he’s just so experienced doing this having done it tens of thousands of times, he does it so quickly.Then after the procedure, Jasmine walks you through post op care and instructions. Dr. Benderev even came out while I was with Jasmine and spoke to my wife in the waiting room to let her know it went well and to see if she had any questions. And then on the way home, Dr. Benderev calls you on his personal cell phone to check up on you. I don’t know what other doctor gives you his personal number!Anyway, I’m now on day 2 of recovery and I haven’t felt any pain whatsoever. I’m just laying around with my feet up and a pack of frozen peas on the area. There is just a very mild and dull soreness you feel, but it doesn’t hurt. I’ve felt 10x more muscle soreness just after a good workout (if that helps gauge how little soreness you actually feel after the procedure).I’m so glad I did the procedure even though I came in nervous. I would recommend this (and Dr. Benderev) to any couple looking for more permanent birth control instead of having your partner go though tubal ligation, which is much more invasive, expensive and risky. Plus, nothing changes for the man really outside of having no sperm. Everything else functions (and comes out) exactly the way it did prior the procedure, but now as a couple you have more peace of mind :)
Going to Dr Benderev was a great decision base on my experience. Dr Benderev was very friendly and talked to me through every step, while still making me feel calm and relaxed. You feel some discomfort and minimal pain the day of the procedure but definitely tolerable. The following day the it just feels tender. Using ice packs and some Tylenol definitely helps the healing process. Dr Benderev does reached out via phone to check on his patients which is great. I would definitely recommend him for anyone on the fence on going through the procedure.

It was practically painless and took 10-15 minutes. I would rather get a vasectomy again then a cavity filled. The second day after the procedure I felt great as if I had nothing done. That leaves: two choices tubal ligation or vasectomy.After doing some research on the two procedures, vasectomy seems like the easiest and best choice for a couple so I started looking up providers in OC that could help me service our family. After consuming his service, it’s no surprise that Dr Benderev is very high in social review sites. He uses an easily accessible online scheduling system that automatically sends reminders. He exclusively focuses on vasectomies but is booked way out, something like 30 days at least. He requires a 15 minute video chat to address any questions prior to your procedure before you actually come to his office.The experience itself was as pleasant as can be expected. Went over to the surgical medical building at Mission Hospital, which was easy to find. After checking in, they gave me two Tylenol and had me wait for about 15 minutes but that might also be because I was 15 minutes early. Dr Benderev was very friendly and easy to talk to. That no-needle anesthetic injector was strange but not particularly painful. We had a pleasant conversation while he went about doing the deed, which ONLY TOOK ABOUT 15 MINUTES. Then he has me chat with a nurse about post-op care and we were all done. I’m sitting here ~2 days later and it’s not really that unpleasant. If I’m doing anything at all, I don’t notice the pain that feels like I accidentally sat in my testicles recently. I haven’t felt the urge to take any pain medication including Tylenol or Aspirin. An ice pack reduces the swelling and makes any pain unnoticeable, relative to the cold in the area. Unless I end up with a new infection or something, I’m already through the worst part of the pain and it should all be getting better in the next day or so.Honestly, Dr Benderev’s follow-through is what really makes this top notch. He called me from his cell phone about 3 hours after the procedure to make sure I was feeling okay and ensure he could address any new questions/concerns that arise. Then he followed up again about 2 days later via text message to make sure all is going well. For a person that is nervous about the experience of intentionally damaging an area we all instinctively shelter, this was really helpful.

This was a procedure I’ve been dreading for years and so I did a ton of online research beforehand. Getting a vasectomy is so much less invasive then having my wife go through surgery, so this was something I wanted to “sack up” and do. This was very important to me and I wanted a doctor who was not only good but great. I found Dr. Benderev and I’m glad I did. I did the phone consultation and the procedure out of his Corona office. The staff there were awesome, friendly and encouraging. Dr. Benderev was very personable and a great person to talk to. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring. The procedure itself was maybe about 10-15 minutes and was just the doctor and myself in the room, which decreased my anxiety. Dr. Benderev talked to me and made me feel at ease through the whole procedure. The procedure was pretty much painless and I iced myself for the ride home and off and on for the next two days with lots of rest. Because of that, swelling was very minimal and the incision was so small that you won’t need sutures and it closes within two days. I wore compression shorts with a comfortable jock strap and I was glad I did because it helped a ton. Guys, take it from a man whose anxiety was through the roof and was dreading this whole experience when I say that Dr. Benderev is a man you can trust and made the whole experience as pleasant as possible. Ice it and rest for two solid days and you’ll be up on your feet, feeling great, in no time. After spending over a year saying no to a vasectomy due to hesitancy and fear, Dr. Benderev made it quick and painless - literally. The operation took maybe 15 minutes and I was out of there around 30 minutes after the procedure was scheduled. During the operation, Dr. Benderev talked me through the entire process and before I even knew he began, it was over.I had the operation done 1 week ago and the recovery process couldn’t have been easier. I had virtually no pain during the first week. I did have a little discomfort at times, but kicking my feet up and putting some ice on it would make it go away. I only took a total of 4 doses of Tylenol for the recovery - 2 on the same day and 2 the next day. Overall it’s an extremely simple procedure that has minimal impacts on your life, so if you’re sure about not having kids, save yourself constant headaches by getting a vasectomy.I can’t compare Dr. Benderev to other urologists, but I can say the procedure couldn’t go smoother and the recovery process was much easier than expected - so he must be doing something right. If you want a vasectomy, I’d have a hard time believing you’ll regret choosing Dr. Benderev once the procedure is done.

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I (now married for 7 years+) decided since we were dating that we wouldnt have kids. After many years of my wife on birth control we both came to the conclusion that a vasectomy would be our next course of action. Me being nervous would be an understatement. Like every other man that’s had a vasectomy there’s nerves and apprehension in doing this procedure. Surprisingly there aren’t a ton of urologist to choose from on yelp. Surprisingly it was a little difficult finding a referral through friends and co workers which I have a lot of. Either the location was too far or had mixed reviews. Randomly while speaking to a neighbor the subject came up and he had recommended Dr. Benderev. After doing my own research I decided to give it a shot.What a pleasant surprise. Couldnt be happier with my experience with Dr. Benderev. Like most, I was extremely hesitant and nervous for obvious reasons. Dr. Benderev however made me feel comfortable almost immediately. The no needle anesthetic that was applied felt like light semi-hard flicks to the genitalia.After the anesthesia was applied I literally felt nothing the entire time. We had a brief conversation and within around 8 minutes or so, we were done. I couldnt believe it. i thought he was joking.I drove myself home, putting the ice pack on my crouch (again, still no pain or soreness whatsoever, just needed to prevent swelling) the entire time. Once I got home I made sure I laid down on the chase with my legs up and applied ice for the rest of the evening.I thought I would wake up the next morning feeling super sore, however that was not the case whatsoever. Currently, as I write this review, Im on day 3 after the procedure and still feel no discomfort, soreness, etc at all.Granted, this doesnt mean that you should go back to normal activity just yet. You still need to take it easy the week following the procedure to ensure that you stay this way. Long story short, Dr. Benderev was super professional, extremely proficient at his craft, and genuinely cares about his patients. Absolutely fantastic. Couldnt be happier with the service provided by Dr. Benderev. I had been on a wait list with Kaiser for over a year and finally decided to find someone else. After searching the web I found thousands of positive reviews for Dr. Benderev, and the no scalpel no needle sounded great. I made my appointment, had my initial phone call, then the procedure. I have to admit I was genuinely nervous AF (excuse the french), but Dr. Benderev assured me evey man doing this feels the same. The procedure prob took less than 10 minutes and there was genuinely zero pain. Id equate the no needle modajet to the same feeling as having a single hair plucked. After that you dont feel anything. The incision hole is barely noticeable, and 2 days post I still feel nothing, maybe a little pressure, but the most pain I felt from this is maybe 1/8th on a scale of 1-10. Dr. Benderev also followed up twice to see how I was, excellent that a doctor takes the time to do that! If youre contemplating, just make the appointment and do it. The worst part is the anxiety, after thats over youll feel silly for not getting it done sooner. A++++
I can’t communicate more strongly how simple and virtually painless my procedure was with with Dr Benderev. I knew recovery would take a few days and discomfort lasted a couple weeks. After that I was back to my normal activities. 2 month post and now I feel like nothings changed. Thanks Doc
Like any man I was nervous about the procedure. From the consultation down to the actual day of the procedure was easy going. This Dr. Is great, during the procedure he tells you every step of the way what he does next and what you may feel but you won’t feel anything. The most amount of pain you feel is the numbing but it’s honestly like a minor hair pull and after that you can’t feel anything. No needle involved like other methods I’ve heard about, with the other process I was told you feel tugging but this nothing. The Dr. And his staff were very informative just great all around. Highly recommend.

Like most, I was not looking forward to getting this procedure done. Dr. Benderev made the entire process very simple and quick, literally it took 15 minutes. Very little pain during the procedure, then just a little soreness for the next couple days.

Dr Benderev came highly recommend from some of the women groups my wife is a part of on line. That made me feel a little better about who to go to bit still had serious apprehension about going through with the procedure. The consult was very casual and informative. Dr B did an amazing job validating the fears and normalizing the thoughts that I and im sure many men feel walking into the procedure. The needleless numbing was somewhere between a tiny pinch and a small flick( barely felt it) . The rest of the procedure was totally painless. I just had a 10 min conversation with Dr B and it was done. About 24 hours of mild to moderate kicked in the balls feeling that could be managed quite well with Tylenol and ice. Now 48 hours out, just some soreness with certain movements . Honestly the growing out shave is about an annoying as the pain at this point. Thanks Dr Benderev

Well if your like me and most men I was very nervous and even scared up to procedure. We were sitting in waiting room watching as one gentleman came out knowing full well what just took place. I had heard stories and my own brother and close friend each had some stories about how their procedures went. I decided to go with Dr. Benderev because the way the procedure is handled and everything just sounded the best, and when your working on these important areas you just want the best. His whole office is kind, helpful, do not make you feel any type of funny way. He performs surgery in office without female nurses present which I appreciated. No needles is wonderful! The thing I felt the most was just the air poofing of the anesthetic down there. After that he continued to talk and help me not focus on what was taking place. 10 or 15 minutes later it was done. It is helpful having someone drive you.Ice packs I feel have been very helpful and important 1st couple days. I had 3 of them rotating. Ultimately it just helps keep swelling down. My swelling was minimal. Only real pain is just what we as men get when we catch ourselves between our legs. That is how it has felt. Very minimal spotting of blood. Plan on not doing anything for 3 days. That is actually the hardest part. Line up all your going to watch, read, etc.But urinating, morning wood is all no big deal.I couldnt have anticipated as good an outcome as I have had.Thank you so much Dr. Benderev! Also how you called afterward and even texted me.Also this is the least invasive procedure that can be done. So much better then having your wife have to do anything that is hurtful and so invasive to her body.

He made me feel really comfortable that made me move forward with the procedure that same day. After having multiple hernia surgerys and now a vasectomy. My procedure with Dr. Benderev was truly amazing. I was a difficult case since my first vasectomy failed, I will spare the details of the horror story. To summarize my first operation, at my family doctor, was over an hour on a cold table with not enough pain killers with a very inexperienced not doctor and two helpers with a tough recovery, only to find out it failed. Now to the fix or redo. The consult was much different with Dr. Benderev. I spoke with a true professional who knew his practice very well. The operation, which was a redo, was very comfortable. Just me and the Doctor in a room with a heating pad for comfort and perfect amount of pain killers. The doctor said he was done in about 18 minutes and I couldnt believe it. I waited longer for my Uber to show up to take me there, which was a mistake since he was done so fast. Have your ride wait for you! Guys!!! You have nothing to fear if you go to Dr. Benderev. If you go anywhere else, good luck. A true professional and master of his craft. BTW recovery was a walk in the park. Frozen peas for later that day... next day felt like nothin happened, not exaggerating... took it easy as doc ordered. Second day couldnt even find incision to put band aid on. The only Dr. to see is Dr. Benderev. Unbelievably comfortable experience.
Alright fellas, just like you I was a little nervous about this procedure but this was done so quickly and painless. The entire process from the waiting room to the end was 20 minutes. Dr Benderev was very professional and very pleasant during the entire process.

They say the quicker, the better because less pain for patient. So, I decided to get it done. It is seamless as they say and it is true here is the reason.Process for me, it was so quick. I wish I could hear more stories from Dr. Ben more. I love it. I am so lucky to have him as a doctor. Total time of the session was about 15 mins, procedure was about 5 mins. He is so expert in his field. I thought I should have done this in my early 30s because my wife went through birth control pills for too long. Her mood swing was not good during her period but naturally she is a patient woman so I do this for her. Now that is going to be better to get off the birth control pill.I highly recommend Dr. Ben. I took 2 Tylenol which I should not have. It was not painful at all. It was a little sting but tattoo hurts more. I can do this again 10 times literally not that I want to do it though. After 7 days, I could resume my normal activity. I felt a little sting but it was nothing compare knife cut.Follow up was so great. Dr. Ben called me personally on my cell phone and ask to see how I was doing. It was so wonderful to have this relationship that he cares about his patient.To all the guys out there, if you are planning not to have kid, I highly recommend this doctor because I hear people talking that to raise a child, it would cost about one million. For those who loves kids, that is great, for those who wants to enjoy life, see the world. I got my vasectomy on Friday 12/5/17 @ approx. 2 pm, it is been about 19 hours since my procedure and i feel great. Im sitting on my kitchen table as my wife makes breakfast. i got a bag of frozen peas (i found these to work best for me) in between my legs and Im having my morning coffee as i write this review. if you are thinking about getting this done, do it!Iwas so anxious going in and now i feel so relieved. Guys its not as bad as you imagine it to be (trust me Im a baby when it comes to pain). During the procedure Dr. Benderev and I had a conversation about a recent Yosemite trip my family and i had taken, next thing i know we were done. The whole process took about 20 min.
Wasn’t to sure what I was getting into and was a bit concerned, but when the doc called for my initial interview his perfesionalism mixed with humor brought me to a comfortable state of mind going into it. I was a bit nervous the day of my appointment but the doc was a very inviting and professional person to work with. The process was extremely quick and painless. I was questioning myself when they gave me Tylenol for a pain reducer, my thought was can’t be to bad, and it wasn’t. I was able to even watch and see what was going on. Was on my feet right away and the pain over the next to days can be described as a dull ache!!! My wife and I did some research on vasectomy vs. tubal ligation (tubes tied) and once I learned women can die from their operation, what ever the chance may be, it was a no brainer for me to step up. During our internet searching we found Dr. Benderev, he had great reviews and 5stars, upon meeting him I could see exactly why. We had planned to have my wife’s tubes tied during her last C-section when we had decided this was our last kid, but not having the paperwork in order within the 30 day pre operation deadline, we missed that window. (Which by the way is the only time a tubal ligation is safer than a vasectomy) So during my consultation Dr. Benderev was awesome I had a list of questions that he covered all but one (that was mostly specific to me) in his synopsis at the start of the meeting. If not extremely efficient it was definitely reassuring that I was in good hands. On the day of the operation I wasn’t nervous at all myself, though I’m sure some could be all things considered, but regardless he was still great, he kept me calm and described everything he was doing every step of the way. The operation didn’t hurt at all and was over so fast my wife was shocked that we were done already when she got called back into the room. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering the operation and I would also highly recommend every man have this operation over having your wife get hers. Oh also one of the coolest parts of the procedure was the needleless delivery system of the numbing agent. It gave out a high pressured squirt that goes through your skin. I didn’t feel a thing, all you hear is a puff of air, it was incredible and he showed me how it worked too. Two thumbs up for sure!
Great way to help the woman buy getting a vasectomy which is also less expensive. My wife helped me find the place and I’m glad she did Dr. Theodore Benderv was a great person in his profession made you feel comfortable and relaxed well the procedure was happening thanks to his expertise the recovery was fast and less painful.

I called this office as I have a PPO insurance and can self refer myself. I went based on the reviews on google thinking the reviews were great. I called multiple times, but no one ever picks up the phone. After the 11th attempt to make an apt. a lady by the name of Megan answered the phone, she was very short, and quick to say she did not schedule appointments, that my call had been directed to her since the office is not answering the phone, the calls go to her dept. She was quick to give me the same phone number I had been calling practically all day. After I shared my frustration with her she rudely stated that she would take down my information, to give to the office to schedule me. I began giving her my insurance info as well as my name and address, Megan interrupted me stating that their office is very far from my home and she hopes I know that, I then stated that I was calling to schedule an apt. at the Corona office, she then stated that they only do Vasectomies at that location, at this point I was very frustrated, me being in the medical field know that this is not proper patient care. I told her that I wished she would have asked me from the start which office I wanted to be scheduled at, and she would have not wasted my time, not to mention me calling them all day and no answer. This is not a way to run a practice. Horrible patient service, and lack of care for patients. If I could I would give zero stars but I need to give one star in order to write a review.

Just had my vasectomy done on 9/9/2022 I was hesitant going into it and all I got to say is that the whole process was quick and easy with little to no pain.I would highly recommend anyone thinking about this to do it specially with Dr Benderev.

He is absolutely genuine and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is thinking about undergoing this life-altering event. For the last few years I was always skeptical about this procedure, and I wish I would have had this done years ago in hind sight. I was in and out of the office in under a half hour, and while I was there for the short time, I was warmly greeted by the staff and was constantly receiving support and comforting throughout the process. If I could give a 200 star rating I would. First rate service and professionalism through the entire process. The only thing I would recommend is having a hearty meal prior to the operation, the pain killers hit me like a ton of bricks on my drive home. Both Dr. Benderev and his staff are the finest medical people I have ever encountered, I can’t say enough about how well treated I was with all my interactions with them.

Obviously experiences will vary but The anesthesia felt like a leg hair getting pulled from your inner thigh…that’s the only “pain” I felt through the entire procedure. I’m currently at 2 days after my procedure and I have absolutely no pain. No soreness. Dr. Benderev is an expert and makes the experience a breeze. Highly recommend.

I just wasnt another patient but someone. The entire process was just simple and quick. 2024-03-23 16:44:49Dr Benderev and Jasmin who works on scheduling etc were both amazing to work with. I was stressed trying to find the right doctor to do my vasectomy. I had a friend who used Dr Benderev and he assured me that he was the man for the job. Anyone reading this look no further! This is the man for the job! I was in and out in 20 minutes. Minor sting pain from the numbing medicine which is no needle, just a puff of cold air! How cool it that?! After some chatting about real estate and life for 7 minutes we were done! I was in minor discomfort the first day and just iced and Tylenol. No bruising or swelling whatsoever! I’m on day 2 of recovery and feel about 80% today. Just rest and follow instructions and don’t over do it!
