Dr. Aziz has been my podiatrist for years. She has treated me successfully for several different foot/toe injuries each time I have seen her. My most recent visit was due to an injured Achilles tendon as well as plantar fasciitis. Dr. Aziz recommended a stem cell injection to assist in the healing process. WOW DID IT WORK!!! Four weeks later and my Achilles tendon is completely healed … no pain whatsoever. I am so happy. Thank you so much Dr. Aziz as well as your entire staff who are always extremely efficient, personable and helpful!

Fantastic experience today with the Foot and Ankle Specialty Group in Rancho Santa Margarita.A sincere thanks to Ms. Jenn, Dr. Arneson, and Dr. Aziz for their punctual, thorough, patient, and extremely comprehensive care.I was attended to by Dr. Arneson and Ms. Jenn with such kind and humanistic bedside manner and I really appreciated it. They patiently and thoroughly addressed all of my questions, concerns, and ailments with such thoughtfulness and all in an easily understandable way. I walked away feeling so much more knowledgeable and better equipped on how to care for my 👣 and ankle health. I feel like I just got out of a fun health and anatomy class in school.I write this review with joy as I truly appreciated your guys’ care today. I want to send a special thank you to Ms. Jenn for making me laugh so much with her stories. If I could give 0 stars I would. I Was told I needed to put down a $250 deposit for my custom made insoles, which I did. After insurance reimbursement I would get the refund. Insurance covered the insoles and I never got a refund. It took me almost 6 months to get my refund. After getting the run around from the receptionist and Dr. Aziz herself. I finally had to show up in person and demand my money back. She kept making the excuse that she had to fire her medical accountant due to reasons I could care less about. Extremely unprofessional and seriously the worst experience I’ve ever had to deal with especially at a doctors office. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to go because I felt scammed and got nothing but excuses time after time.

Fantastic--well run---patient centric office. Dr. Aziz and Arneson cared for my wife who ultimately need surgery on her foot. Fantastic work. Then--I dislocated my toe and presented to Dr. Arneson who took fabulous care of me and got me back on track. Compassionate doctors who really take their time with the patients. Highly recommend!

From front desk, assistants, x-ray techs, and everyone else I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with, they have all been very pleasant and caring.I broke my big toe in November 2022. I was seeing another podiatrist for 3 months prior to coming here. I was not asked any personable questions during my time there to identify my lifestyle and ultimately help guide my plan of care. Was I active? what do I do for work? How often am I on my feet throughout the day? By the time of 3 months post injury, my broken toe was not getting better, and there was no confident plan moving forward. This was making my job very difficult. I work in physical therapy and it is very physically demanding.Fast forward and I was recommended to Dr. Aziz by my supervisor. My experience was already 10x better being greeted by front desk. Dr. Aziz is very thorough. She asked questions pertinent to tailoring my individualized plan of care. She does a very good job explaining pathology and reasoning behind her medical interventions. We explored many options before surgery. She understood my goals and provided me with a confident plan to help me return to recreational activity and allow me to fulfill my duties at work.Surgery is what we finally opted for in the end. She ensured we were on the same page before making the decision together. She did not pressure me. She provided me with her clinical reasoning and made sure I was informed about every bit of the process. Surgery went smooth. I was absolutely pain free during recovery process (only needed ibuprofen the first night). 2 weeks post surgery and I am walking normally in a tennis shoe. A tad stiff (which is expected) but pain free!I do not normally write reviews but kind, compassionate, and COMPETENT people deserve a few minutes out of my day. I am blown away by the excellent experience I have had in this office and under the care of this incredible doctor and her medical team. Dr. Aziz is extremely knowledgable with a wealth of experience. My father had extreme issues with his feet and most people can barely even look at them without gagging. She was wonderful with him and had a really great sense of humor to match his and she came up with an excellent game plan for getting his feet in better shape. She has been very helpful with my own foot health as well. I have been to 3 specialists in two years for my feet and she is the first person to give me any confidence that she can help make me well. I highly recommend this medical group!

Dr. Aziz is THE BEST! She is extremely caring, funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have been under her care for more than 6 years and she has performed 5 surgeries on my feet. Each time she worked with me and offered multiple treatments and alternatives to surgery, but was with me the entire time, once I decided to take the final step. I can not recommend her enough!

I am so glad to have found Dr. Aziz! She goes above and beyond and she really spends her time making sure you have all your questions and concerns answered. She has been treating my Freiberg disease for a few years now and has gotten me back to running and being really active again! Her orthotics have changed my life and have really controlled my pain. She listens and cares about her patients. Could not recommend her and her staff enough!

Dr. Aziz has been my podiatrist for many years. She is caring, thoughtful and goes out of her way to spend as much time as needed with me.In Dec. I was hit by a car while walking my dog. Both of my feet were broken and I was seen by an Orthopedist who released me several months later.Shortly after this I I saw Dr, Aziz and sheNoticed my right foot was swollen and had not healed. After X-rays and an MRI showed lingering damage she gave me a PRP (platelet rich plasma) treatment using a Zimmer Biomet platelet separation kit which helped immensely. Dr. Aziz has followed my progress closely.I am now out of a boot, wearing a brace to assist, and having physical therapy.Dr Aziz and her staff continue to provide exceptional care and I don’t know what I would do without them.

She is personable, professional, kind and compassionate. She gets you in to see her as soon as possible and really looks after your best interest. Dr. Arneson is the best!!! I dont typically leave reviews but I felt inclined to in this situation.In the past few years, many of the doctors I have seen seemed to rush through the appointment and left me feeling underwhelmed and the issue unresolved. Dr. Arneson was the complete opposite. She was extremely patient (they space out appointments longer than other clinics for this reason) and not just answered my questions, but explained everything in detail. I never felt rushed nor pushed towards surgery, and we discussed all the possible solutions to my foot injury.The support staff was also super nice and even helped me with an insurance claim. Highly highly recommend Dr. Arenson and the Foot and Ankle Specialty Group!!

I had foot pain for 4 months before going to see Dr. Aziz. She quickly found my bone spur and soon after performed successful surgery. In 2 months I was fully recovered. She was not only a great doctor but also very personable and great at answering questions. Highly recommend!

Ive been seeing Dr Aziz for nearly 3 years for various issues with my feet. During this time she has made me feel like family. She always ask me how Im doing and she sincerely wants to know. I had an appointment today…..everyone in the office were extremely friendly and helpful. The doctors and nurses explained in detail all of my treatment options. I am very confident that my outcome will be very beneficial immediately, and will allow me to continue to stay active playing tennis and keeping up my exercise routine. Great experience.Dr. Aziz explained the options at the beginning, and the treatment was as she explained. The laser procedures were done as explained at the original assessment. Started in September 2016, last session was in June. I just had the follow up (4 month after last session) and no fungus on the nail. The laser treatment is a bit painful, but it is very short and I was in control of how strong it got. Also no side effects as opposed to the pills. I am very happy with my decision.Gabriela

Had my first consultation with Dr Aziz today.I was really impressed by everything and everyone. The staff are fantastic and have a great sense of humor as well as being thoroughly professional at what they do. (Especially the girl in the elf hat, she was awesome!) A very pleasant Drs office indeed. My problem was xrayed, examined and diagnosed very well and we had a solution before I left the office. Dr Aziz has been my Foot Dr for 18 years. She is an amazing Doctor, has a kind and caring manner and is an outstanding Surgeon.She has helped me with a surgical issue that other Doctors couldnt.Dr. Aziz even corrected my Daughters flat feet when she was a child. Dr. Aziz has helped me with two foot issues. The first was Plantar Fasciitis, where she created a mold for my foot and had inserts created. The second was multiple fractures, where she put me in a boot for about 4 months. In both cases I am very pleased with her diagnosis and solution. We discuss the problem, the cause, and the solution. I wouldnt consider any other doctor for my feet.

Dr. Aziz is the third podiatrist I’ve seen for plantar fibroma and for only positive reasons, will definitely be the last. Her staff is extremely competent, friendly and helpful. After only one appointment with Dr. Aziz I realized that she is by far the most knowledgeable, personable and caring doctor I could have asked for. She took more than enough time to explain my condition to me in detail as well as the treatment plan she would implement for me, all while making sure I understood everything throughout. She told me right away that she would absolutely not do surgery for my condition because of the high level of risk involved, which I very much appreciated for more than one reason. Other than her high level of education, expertise and experience, If you’re looking for a podiatrist that will treat you as more than just another number, I would highly recommend Dr. Aziz!

I recently broke my foot and brought my 16 month old son with me during my appointment since I didnt have a babysitter. The whole office fussed after him and kept him entertained. I had tried to get my 18yr old son to the Dr. to get his ingrown toenails taken care of for yrs. Finally he agreed to go to a consultation. I had heard very good things about Dr. Aziz from several pple. When we went to the apt with Dr. Aziz, I couldnt believe how receptive my son was to what she had to say. She can really communicate with any age. (I was amazed at how positive my teenage son was about the procedure) She explained everything to him and made sure he understood all it would entail. Since he will be going away to college soon, she got him to have all 4 ingrown toenails removed faster then I could have imagined! The procedure required a few visits, and each time my son left with a smile on his face. He really trusted her, and she didnt disappoint. She had incredible bedside manner both with my teenage son and to me. I couldnt have been happier!I now have my husband seeing her for his foot pain.I would highly recommend her to anyone who has any foot problems. She is passionate and extremely educated in her field. Dr Aziz is a very caring compassionate doctor. I went to Dr Aziz for a toenail fungus. My regular doctor recommended kerasil which didn’t work. After a year of getting frustrated, I read another persons yelp describing my exact problem and they were recommending Dr Aziz. I saw she had all 5’s on her yelp reviews so I made an appointment. Once I met Dr Aziz I knew I was in the right place. I feel like I’ve known her all my life. She treats her patients as if they were family. She gave me a few options and I chose the laser treatment plus a prescribed topical medicine. The medicine is alcohol based so I can keep nail polish on during the treatment. That was huge since I didn’t want the fungus to be seen. Dr Aziz said it would take 6 laser treatments but after only 4 the fungus is gone!!! I’m still going back for the final treatments. Dr Aziz is very thorough and committed to giving quality care...no short cuts. I appreciate how caring she is. I wish she was my primary care doctor . The medical and surgical care I received from Doctors Aziz and Yokay was excellent. I was clearly informed of my diagnosis, options, treatment, and follow-up. I am particularly thankful for the diligent postoperative care, where I received frequent check-ups to ensure the efficacy of my foot surgery and clear answers to my questions.The nursing and administrative staff at Foot & Ankle Specialty Group are commendable - they are professional, friendly and efficient. I could not be more thankful to have been referred to Dr. Aziz when I broke my ankle. She was actually the second doctor I saw after my fracture and I can say she will be the only one I see should I, or anyone in my family, ever experience a break again.What I loved about Dr. Aziz is that she actually spent time with me. My first doctor, who I saw twice before switching to Dr. Aziz, spend a total of 10 minutes with me. Not only was I just put in a cast, but I was also placed in a walking boot and told to start putting pressure on my ankle, when my break wasnt even aligned for healing! I was told the night I fractured it in the ER that I would most likely need surgery (something I reiterated to my first doctor) and sure enough, after lots of pain from being placed in the walking boot, my husband made an appointment with Dr. Aziz and she confirmed surgery was needed.My first appointment with Dr. Aziz was like seeing an old friend, she took the time to get to know me, my husband and our entire situation while reviewing my x-rays and recommending a course of action for the proper healing of my fracture. My two experiences couldnt have been more night and day. Finding a doctor that truly cares for her patients has completely changed my experience. Every place I went from her front office (her staff is just awesome), to the pre-operative physical doctor, to the surgery center, I was told Youre in good hands. Dr. Aziz is just great, and I couldnt agree more. I have never felt like I have been cared for better!

I dont even know where to begin with how amazing this doctor is. She changed my life forever. She gave me the chance to live my life to the fullest again....the pride she takes in her work and the love that she has for her patients shines through time and time again. She has an amazing aura full of positive energy and she makes me feel so comfortable and happy. Shes incredibly knowledgeable and always answers any questions. I seriously called almost everyday for two weeks because Im a worry wart and had a million questions, but I never felt once like I was bothering them. They are so patient and answer all of your questions. I cant believe that a doctor as honest and amazing as her still exists. Dr Aziz, I can never thank you enough for fixing me. She removed so much extra bone, due to a huge fracture, and attached a completely dettachted ligament. Thats amazing!!! Love her forever!

I am preparing to have bunion surgery next and had pre-op appointment yesterday. I feel comfortable and at ease about what to expect for surgery as well as the healing process. Dr. Aziz is more than a knowledgable foot doctor. She has a wonderful, zany personality that instantly puts a patient at ease and make you feel at home in her office. Im updating my review from a year and a half ago. Dr. Aziz is kind and compassionate which I so appreciate with my ongoing foot issues! She is professional as well as knowledgeable, patient and funny. She spends time getting to know patients individually and answering questions.Having said that, my issue is with the billing and how long it takes to be reimbursed by the office. It isnt an issue with my insurance as Ihave records they paid the office soon after my appointment ordering orthotics. After waiting over 2 months to be reimbursed, I finally contacted the office. I was told the check could be picked up and amount I was receiving was less than what my insurance said I should be receiving. When I asked at the front desk about it told there was a small balance on my account but they didnt know what it was for. They said they would check with billing and get back to me.Still waiting to hear. Taking off a star because of this recent experience.

I went here because I had an awful ingrown toenail on my left big toe and they made everything a breeze! The staff here is wonderful; they explain everything for you and make sure youre well taken care of. Im in the process of healing and I couldnt have asked for a more precise and clean procedure in no time at all. Would definitely recommend and Ill be returning if I need to in the future!

I brought my son here because he had a growth plate causing his heels hurting which frustrate him because it limit him in playing soccer. Dr Salma was really great with my son, he was nervous at first but she made him really comfortable. She took her time to treat my son feet, look at his feet and eventually he need a hand mold insert to prevent any injury in the future. I cant thank you enough, my son are really happy and you make it a good experience for him! Now he is free from hurt and he was happy that he finally can play soccer strong!

First and foremost its hard to say where to start. So Ill start with the making of the appointment. Her front office staff Trisha is especially nice and friendly. It was very easy to get the appointment scheduled without having to wait months. Upon arrival the staff was very pleasant and accommodating.Next I got put in the room and I was asked a few questions before the doctor saw me.Once the doctor came in the room her demeanor was very pleasant, warm and welcoming. Dr Aziz listened to everything I said. Then she made her diagnosis. She spends as much time as she needs to discuss the procedure and cause. Within minutes of talking with her, I felt like she completely understood what wasgoing on, was not dismissive, was very accommodating, very sympathetic, and very knowledgeable.I was able to schedule the procedure fairly quickly. Trisha did a great job of pre authorizing through my insurance and they also will give you the procedure code should you need them?I went in for the procedure and she spent quite a bit of time explaining every step of what she was doing and the precautions that I should take and the care I should manage.The follow-up visit was just as much fun. She is such a hoot. If you dont laugh, you have no funny bone.The office does a great job of submitting this to insurance. I might remind all those out there that a doctor does not have to submit through your insurance on your behalf. It is your responsibility. It is a benefit and luxury that they do that for you.At the end of the day, I would highly recommend her to anyone who has any issues with your feet. I have to say sometimes reviews meet jack but I checked out Dr. Aziz reviews before I went along with others and the reviews are spot on, Dr. Aziz is so knowledgeable and does not BS you, she makes sure you get the best treatment and explains everything to you. I have a tear in my Achilles Tendon and she gave me 3 options for it I took the least evasive which was PRP and after 2 weeks my tendon is healed not completely but so much better that she referred me to PT. Also worked on my toe Fungus (not something to admit to having lol) but she said to try the laser treatment which is very reasonably priced and she makes sure you to 5-6 treatments over the year- this instead of harmful cheap alternative Lamasil.

Thank god I found Dr. Aziz. I first met Dr. Aziz after a sparring injury a couple of years ago. Following an MRI to confirm that I had torn two ligaments in my ankle, Dr. Aziz discussed different options including PRP (platelet-rich plasma), Stem cells etc. Dr. Aziz is amazing, she is a big believer in using the best available technology to help the body heal itself as opposed to invasive surgeries and I love her for that. She was not rushed at all and took the time to explain each option. I ended up getting one treatment of PRP. I really liked the PRP option because it only involved taking a draw of my own blood, separating out the best parts of my blood and re-injecting into the injured area. It worked amazingly. Three weeks after PRP I was training and doing ring work again.I recently went back to Dr. Aziz for a separate injury after partially tearing a sesamoid ligament and marrow edema by my big toe. I received PRP treatment again and Im back to training after just under two weeks, this time. Dr. Aziz is the best. Dr. Aziz uses the Zimmer Biomet PRP kit which is the same quality used for treating elite athletes in the NFL, NBA and combat sports.

She quickly diagnosed my foot problem and it was a blessing in disguise that I had this foot pain, as this was my first time ever visiting a podiatrist. I wish I had found Dr. Aziz before I had surgery on my ankle. But that was back in Connecticut 4 years ago. I am grateful that I found Dr. Aziz now, as she changed my life. I had a debridiment surgery in the left talonavicular joint, and, in addition, my left leg is shorter from the old hip injury. I had difficulty walking any long distance. And recently, even a short walk started to cause so much pain that I would avoid walking. Dr. Aziz suggested making special shoe inserts for me to adjust for changes in my foot due to ankle surgery and the difference in left and right sides. Dr. Aziz explained that it could take time to get used to these inserts, as my foot and leg were in a different position for a long time. And, yes, initially, it was quite uncomfortable to walk with these inserts. it took several weeks to correct the misalignements formed over the years. However, after several weeks I could walk long distances with these inserts without any pain. As a matter of fact, I went to a hiking trip to Portugal and was able to walk 10-15 miles every day for over 2 weeks! The result of the treatment by Dr. Aziz is just short of a miracle. Thank you so much to Dr. Aziz! What an amazing transformation, I could enjoy an active life again!

We love Dr. Aziz! She has been treating my daughter for more than 2 years for all her foot and ankle injuries due being a competitive gymnast. She used PRP 2 years ago to heal a ligament tear and that saved my daughters season and we used it again this week for a severe ankle sprain with the goal of competing in January again. She also used PRP on my father who tore a ligament in his foot which an orthopedic surgeon misdiagnosed. The PRP allowed him back on the golf course within 2 weeks with saved everyone in our family from his grumpiness. Only one thing works, laser treatment over a long period of time combined with a topical solution. This process can take up to one or two years.There is NO quick fix with vinegar, garlic or anything else. Laser treatments every other month. Been doing laser with Dr. Aziz for over a year and one half, had all ten toes infected, because I waited too long. They are now beginning to grow back. 1-4 laser treatments WILL NOT BE EFFECTIVE. Need long term laser with a topical. Dont do QUICK fix treatments, you will never get rid off it and you will lose all your nails.

Dr. Aziz is knowledgeable and helpful. She explains everything thats going on in ways that make sense. I received an injection of Plasma Rich Platelets to help heal an ankle tendon injury, and it sped up the process and allowed me to get back to my normal activities a lot sooner than I would have thought possible.
