Wow this place is such elite dentistry, so professional too! The best teeth cleaning I have ever had. And Dr Meade is the cream of the crop! I have been to a few dentist in Vacaville and by far this one takes the cake. I have now transferred my whole family to this practice!!!!

I’ve been going to Dr Johnson for over 25 years. Everyone there is great! Ive had periodontal disease for 40 years and I feel with Dr Johnson’s plans, procedures, and recommendations is the reason I still have my teeth and they look darn good! My thought walking out of there today was wow. The office is amazing, from the staff to Dr Johnson I had a difficult experience with my previous dental office. Nice people overall but the prices are quite ridiculous and they try and get you with treatments that arent covered by regular insurances. I knew it was fishy when I went it and got a check up and they walked me into another office where they tried to get me on a payment plan lol. To bad I have good insurance and saved money just to get my teeth fixed. Every other dentist in Vacaville has 5 star reviews so its really hard to choose one. I dont know if Im happy about my choice yet still getting work done as I type this but hey they didnt just jab a punch a needles in my mouth like my last dentist. Still would love to find a dentist that offers a better way of numbing patience. But hey, the staff is nice.

Today was my first prophy appointment over at Dr. Johnson’s office. I recently relocated from out of town where I had my dentist for over 10 years, so my expectations were a little high to say the least. However, I have to say I was extremely pleased with my service here. Unfortunately I was a few minutes late but that didn’t prevent the front desk receptionist from welcoming me in with a heartwarming tone and the biggest smile. Stephanie was my hygienist and she was AMAZING! She was a great conversationalist and she really cleaned my teeth, leaving me feeling like a brand new person. Dr. Johnson himself was very polite and very thorough. He explained things well and didn’t leave the room without making sure any of my questions went unanswered. I was impressed with the latest technology they work with in their office and how up-to-date they are. Thank you again to everyone there and see you all in six months.

This is the best dentistry center! It has newest equipments and the best doctors.Dr. Johnson is a man with his word. He will do as what he say .I visited Doctor Patel this morning. He is trustworthy, honestly and dependable. He is Grafting my gum preparing for the implants. I admired his knowledge and gentleness. I recently switched to Dr. Johnsons practice and Im so glad I did! The staff were amazing and made me feel like family--everyone was so friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Johnson fixed my two front teeth! They were severly chipped with weakened enamel and he did a little dental bonding magic and I cannot believe how natural and beautiful my teeth look now. I was worried it was going to look fake like dentures but Im so happy with how they turned out--I admit I cried a little when I saw the results because I just didnt know that my teeth could be fixed so quickly (less than two hours!) and at an affordable price. I highly recommend this dentist.

The lady who took my info and set my appointment went over my details thoroughly. I explained everything and said I was paying out-of-pocket, so I wasnt looking for anything extra that was not necessary for the services I wanted. She was friendly and got me in quickly.At my consultation, they took x-rays where necessary and Dr. Johnson spoke with me himself. My top teeth are bonded because as a child, I chewed hard candy with my front teeth, so even though the top and bottom show wear, I only had the top bonded because thats all you see when I smile. Dr. Johnson insisted that the bottom is worn because I must be grinding in my sleep, which I disagreed with and explained again about the candy. He seemed disbelieving until he had me move my jaw all around to see if grinding is possible, which it isnt. My top and bottom teeth dont even touch where theyre worn. He then explained their bonding process and said the imprints for whitening trays would be taken after. I said Id like an estimate before deciding, which he told me I could get from the front desk. As I paid for that visit, my estimate was prepared. It was a bit pricey but I decided I wanted to do it, so they set up an appointment two days later.When I arrived I had a different female assistant, whom I told again why I was there. When a different dentist came and introduced himself, I asked if he was redoing my bonding. He seemed confused and said yes, he was, and I later found out why there was confusion. On the computer screen where a clients info is visible, the notes said that Dr. Johnson had told me previously that this other dentist would do the bonding and is very knowledgeable. I dont care who did it, but the point is, that conversation never took place. My previous appointment was only a consultation and I didnt decide until I was leaving that I wanted to proceed, so no, I was not told who would do it. Regardless of how harmless it seems, I dont like to see incorrect notes recorded about clients/visits. The rest of that appointment went pretty well. The dentist did a terrific job in every aspect. I was extremely satisfied. They asked me to sign something stating I was happy with the bonding, which I did, but signing it wouldnt have deterred me from going back if there were any problems later. The digital imprint process for my trays took awhile as they seemed to be having issues with the camera, but eventually they got it and said I could pick up my trays in two weeks. When I paid, I got a credit card receipt with the total, but no itemized receipt copy. I didnt even think of the importance until later.Two weeks became eight as there were multiple computer glitches between them and the company making my trays. At one point someone told me they were being shipped to me, which created confusion. They were pretty good about calling to reschedule my visits if the trays still werent in, but at least once I called to check and was glad I did as they still werent there. When I finally picked them up, they felt a bit snug but fine overall. The assistant (different again) handed me a whitening kit with gel. She seemed confused that I only wanted the trays, and when I asked if the kit cost more, she said yes. She asked if I wanted to try the gel since it comes with the kit, and at first I took it, but after thinking about it in my car for a few minutes, I decided I didnt want to. I had been very clear the whole time about what I wanted and that I was paying for it, and during communication they were always referred to as my trays - not a kit, so I had no idea thats what they were selling me. When I took the gel back and asked for a refund, at first I got the same comes with it answer, but then they said theyd mail me a check. I also received some gift cards for the trouble.

I had a really great experience with Contemporary Dentistry as a first time patient coming in for a cleaning. My hygienist was friendly, personable, extremely thorough, and explained everything she was doing the whole time. She even took the care to moisturize my lips throughout, which is such a simple gesture, that literally no one has ever taken the time to do! Dr. Patel was very kind as well and took his time explaining any and all concerns and making sure I had no questions. He is always professional and makes sure I understand everything he is going to do and if any work needs to be done he will make sure I understand so I can make an informed decision on it. This is the kind of care you wish all Americans had.There are three superb dentists here that I know of: the famous Dr.Randy Johnson, Dr Patel, and Dr Elkhieb, all of whom are extremely intelligent, techno savvy, intuitive, and kind. Do not question if you should go here. The very greatest thing you can do for yourself or family is have excellent health care and excellent Dentistry. This is your only body and its care should always come first. Its a miracle we have something of this quality in the town of Vacaville. I had to have a filling recently. Dr. Randy Johnson’s laser “drill” is amazing! No anesthetic required and no anxiety inducing, whirring drill sound! Dr. Johnson is always on the cutting edge technologically. I’ve been going to him for years and really appreciate how dedicated he is to staying on top of advances in dentistry. After our dentist rescheduled my boys appointments twice, pushing them out 3 months, I called Dr. Johnsons office. They were able to get both my boys in within two weeks and on the same day. The office was very clean and had protections in place to help combat the Coronavirus. Staff members were wearing masks, as were patients, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. My 4 year old doesnt like going to the dentist and he left without shedding a tear. Hes still talking about his grown up teeth he got to see on the TV (his x-rays). We definitely will be back. I love my dental hygienist, Tara, she is always attentive and positive. She asks, what I feel, are all the right questions and even asks about my family, as a mom and grandmother I like. Tara always makes sure Im comfortable and tells me what she is doing. The whole office staff is kind and seasonally decorated. I came in on the first of the month and the office was already decorated for the holiday. The office is clean, Covid-safety is important ( it is obvious). Everyone wears masks and the equipment is cleaned and prepared in higher than CDC standards .

After looking at Dr. Randy Johnson from Contemporary Dentistry on Yelp Reviews, I knew he would be an affordable dentist near me.Let me just start off by saying, Ive been to four family dentists in the past five years. I move a lot and I like to make sure that my teeth stay clean. Cavities scare me. So, I have a few other offices to compare my visit to.I came across Dr. Johnson office, Contemporary Dentistry, because it was at the top of my insurance list and looked like a great family dentist.Scheduling appointments for my husbands crown replacement and my teeth whitening/cleaning was super easy. They e-mailed us all paperwork ahead of time, so that we wouldnt have to come in early before our first appointment. They gave us the paperwork to request x-rays from our previous dentists, instead of trying to do a full workup like every other dentist Ive been to. I showed up for my appointment on time and I didnt have to wait.The hygienist assistant, Ashley, was extremely friendly and gentle on my teeth. I think that was the first time I didnt want to gag when someone took bitewing x-rays. Dr. Johnson is very knowledgeable and obviously enjoys what he does. Oh, I actually met the dentist. That doesnt happen every where you go.

I never leave the chair without all of my questions answered. As a patient I feel confident that I will be properly diagnosed and treated for any dental issue I may encounter. On a recent visit I needed a CT scan done. It was so nice not to have to go to a different office or see a specialist to get the scan.All of the staff is outstanding.The front office ladies are very knowledgable and are always happy to help with any questions or concerns I may have.They patiently work with me when scheduling treatment appointments as I work full time and its not always easy getting away from work.The RDAs in the office are very efficient, professional and nice to talk to. They too make sure that all your questions and concerns have been addressed before you leave.There are two new dentists that recently joined the practice, Drs Patel and Amro. I have met both of them and was impressed.Each of them practice general dentistry but also sub-specialize in root canals and dental implants.Im very happy knowing I will be getting all of my dental care under one roof.If youre looking for a new dentist you cant go wrong with Center for Contemporary Dentistry.

In addition to regular care, I also chose to do Invisalign with this office because I trust them, enjoy them, and believe they have my best interest in mind when performing and recommending work. Had a great day at this dental office today. At 10am I called to have my front tooths crown looked at, after I noticed that it was chipped and by 2:30pm Dr. JOHNSON and RDA Zoe were working to repair my tooth. He got it fixed very quickly and he recommened a procedure to prevent future problems in this area. Zoe spent some quality time explaining the game plan that Dr. Johnson had laid out and gave me comforting feeling that this procedure is right for me. Professional all the way. How do you begin to thank people who have made such a huge impact in your life, maybe saved your life? A little background first, for several years Ive suffered from an auto immune disease called Lichen Planus, (usually attributable to long term infection) and was overtreated w/antibiotics to the point of antibiotic poisoning, then Methotrexate, with no improvement.All the while being told that what was happening to my gums was part of the disease. Actually it was an infected front tooth requiring immediate root canals. Leading me to look for an endodontist during the onset of Covid, (which was like trying to find toilet paper) Appointments made were postponed or canceled and not available for months. It was then I was referred to Dr. Randy Johnsons office mainly because I was concerned about ugly caps on my two front teeth after the root canals. I felt very comfortable after our initial meeting and scheduled a follow up for after the Endodontist procedure. At the follow up I still had not been able to meet with or find anyone to do the root canals and was almost in tears at not being able to even start to get this miserable infection out of my body and under control.Super Hero Randy Johnson to the rescue!!! And I still dont know how they did it but at 8AM the next morning I was in his office having two root canals! And Ive been seeing him ever since having all my teeth fixed.And let me tell you. his updated equipment and technology is top of the line! My old dentists were Neanderthals in comparison!Having some dentistry PTSD I want you to know Dr. Johnson and his crew put me completely at ease. His caring staff run the office like air traffic control, they are prompt, courteous, caring, and really know their work.But the most incredible thing of all is this amazing, ear to ear, healthy, beautiful smile!!
