Dr. Lee was friendly and knowledgeable. My issue was that no one ever told me that my exam was not covered by insurance and that there would be an additional $80.00 charge. Because of that I wasnt able to afford to buy the contact lenses I really needed.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a eye glass biz. The Dr was very knowledgeable and able to answer ? completely. The ladies at the front desk were welcoming and friendly and sincere helping me select my frames. They were above and beyond any other eye glass place I have ever been. My glasses were little more $ than my other usual place (Costco) but worth it to be treated so kindly.

Exceptional experience! Kind and professional receptionist who went out of her way to help me when I had questions. The shop and eye exam room were very clean. Dr Lee was SO thorough. I was very nervous bc I have chronic illness and doc answered every concern or question in a polite, gracious and thoughtful manner. Dr Lee is obviously extremely smart but also great manners and a caring person. I had tons of little concerns or things i was worried about and he just went above and beyond. Went in today for an annual check up and to re-evaluate my contacts prescription. It took some extra time testing to find which lens would be good for me. Thankfully, Dr. Lee is patient and determined, so we ultimately got to a much better script after we had tested all options. As I returned the next day, another gentleman help me, he’s way too chatty, not in a bad way, I confronted him “enough chit chat” this is business I don’t have time to sit around and chit chat, not once but several times I had to politely explain that to him. He also asked what city I live in ? I replied Lake Forest and with the look of disgust he said that explains why you came all the way down here to our optical shop ! Like I live in a Bad area, he has no right judging people for the city they live in, I have a beautiful home and a beautiful neighborhood. Even if I lived in a crummy neighborhood that level of professionalism was unacceptable !3. All being said, I purchased 3-pairs of glasses and I’m hoping they get it right, the main reason I walked out the first time, I was sure the older gentleman there was no way he’d get it right, I’m really hoping the second gentleman “Chatty Kathy” will call him - gets it right !And he can multi task as well as he can jabber on about absolutely nothing !4. “Again the only reason I returned was only because of “Dr. Lee !!!” Definitely not for sales people inside the sales area & there lack of professionalism.SincerelyA HUGE FAN OF DR. My appointment with Dr. Damon Lee at Target Optical in Aliso Viejo was a very positive experience. I had not had an eye exam for almost 10 years due to lack of insurance and my prescription was badly out of date. In addition, my eyes were very watery, making it hard for me to choose which image was clearer. Dr. Lee was very pleasant and incredibly patient as he worked through the exam to find my correct prescription. He also used computer technology to perform the medical portion of the exam, checking for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration, all of which run in my family. I was very satisfied with the exam itself. I then took the prescription and ordered inexpensive glasses online and when I got them - wow, the difference in my ability to see has been tremendous. Dr. Lee really got the prescription right. The whole exam was thorough and less expensive than many places which was important to me because of the lack of insurance and it was a relief to learn that I did not have any serious medical issues with my eyes. It was well worth the money and I hope to be able to see Dr. Lee again next year.
