So let me start by saying Dr gluzman and his staff is amazing. Dr. Guseman Took his time and he was very patient listening to my complaints of pain. He did a complete thorough in examination and was a joy to be around. I was extremely nervous about getting an epidural and his manager calls me on her off time to make sure that I was comfortable with this procedure. Who does that? I can truly say I have never gone to a doctors office where they entire staff was so determined to make me feel so comfortable during my visits. Dr Gluzmans care has changed my life. Hes treated my back, neck and arthritic hand pain that I otherwise thought Id have to live with the rest of my life. (Pain that at times was an 11 on a 1-10 scale). Dr Gluzman listens, hes extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Office staff is personable,knowledgeable and efficient.

Because Dr. Gluzman is possibly the best Neurologist in Orange County (thats no small statement), my right lower leg function has returned after L4-L5 fusion surgery last year by an excellent Surgeon who did my laminectomy and L5-L6 fusion in 2006. When I finally showed up on Dr. Gluzmans doorstep, my right gastrocnemius would barely lift an unpinned set of plates (see the left picture) and I wore a brace. After Dr. Gluzman, no more leg brace and you can see the improvement (healthy left gastrocnemius runs 85 pound lifts all day. Ive been a runner and body builder all my adult life, this Surgeon is a Six Star professional.

So amazing to find a pain management dr who actually listens and BELIEVES you. Sad that it’s a rarity nowadays but if you are looking for a pain mgmt dr in the Newport Beach CA area then you can’t do better than Dr Arie Gluzman and his amazing office team. I was super discouraged before I came here but my PCP highly recommended I give them a chance and Im so glad I did. I am able to get appointments when I need them, get fast (and I mean really fast) insurance approvals for any procedures needed, and everyone here is so nice. Thumbs up for healthcare the way it should be and a big thanks to Dr Gluzman and everyone at this office - I’m so grateful that I found you.

Dr. Gluzman is on your side. If you are feeling stuck in your current situation and need help, he is the person to go to. I was having pain from surgery and a dental injury, and he helped me find relief and I am healing! He really cares about his patients. Dr. Gluzman, is a great pain management doctor. He takes the time to discuss your pain and the treatments that make sense for a result that helps you get back to an enjoyable life. He is not afraid to order necessary tests. He also has hi-tech instruments directly in the office that can save both the patient and the diagnoses valuable time. I have seen 7 doctors and specialists in the last year, so I have a reasonable benchmark to rate his expertise.

Dr. Gluzman is an incredibly kind, compassionate, empathic physician who really takes the time to listen. I went to 3 other pain doctors, however finally found lasting relief with Dr. Gluzman. He is extremely update in his field and offers the newest treatments. He also is very honest with what you may or may not need. As a bonus his office staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and make you feel at home. I have seen many pain doctors over my lifetime. He is simply the best!

I honestly believe that Dr. Gluzman saved me twice, but being such a compassionate, caring and wise doctor. He took his time and came up with very different approaches than the original plan. Otherwise, I truly believe I may have been paralyzed.His complete focus on me, as a patient as a whole system, is wonderful. Doctor Gluzman was attentive, knowledgeable and interested in what my experience was and is. He had prepared himself in advance of my first visit by reviewing the information provided by my neurosurgeon and thoroughly reviewing my films. Doctor Gluzman took his time discussing my options and providing me with his reasoning for each of those options. Ultimately, his care plan has alleviated my pain and given me a very good chance of avoiding surgery.The staff at his office is amazing! The ladies worked hard to for me to get my insurance to cover everything and where that fight couldn’t be completely won, the then worked even harder to be sure I got the absolutely best prices possible from ancillary services. They were communicative and friendly throughout the process.

I had been dealing with a herniated disc and the radiating pain that went along with it for a few months. When the pain finally became too strong, I was referred to Dr. Gluzman. Arie and his team did a great job making sure that I was comfortable and well informed on what to expect for my visits. The crew was very helpful, polite, and reached out to make sure that I was doing well after I had been treated. I really appreciated how direct and personable Dr. Gluzman was with me. Ive been to other providers that give you the runaround and make you feel like you are just another co-pay passing through. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Gluzman and his staff. I was referred to him for severe lower back pain that came on suddenly right before Christmas. I went to two other doctors who told me there was nothing that could be done for me and that my problem was typical of a woman in her 50s even though I just turned 50. By the time I got to Dr. Gluzman he was getting ready to go on vacation and did not have time to do a procedure. But he saw the amount of pain I was in and delayed his vacation by one day so he could do the procedure. I got two epidurals in a surgery center in December 23rd! I was so thankful that he took the time to listen to me and Offer a solution. Not to mention pushing back his vacation for someone he did not even know!

Dr. Gluzman and his staff are wonderful!I had a swollen ulnar nerve that I struggled with for two years (mis-diagnosis and chalked up to poor form). Received some relief through physical therapy. Got a referral for a specialized treatment and Dr. Gluzman was HIGHLY recommended as the guy. Dr. Gluzman took the time to really understand the issue and determine that the treatment I had been referred for was actually not as effective as Perineural injection therapy (PIT) would be. He reduced my pain 85% with the first treatment! After one week, I am almost back to myself. And to top it off, the staff are thorough and welcoming - its like visiting a friend. I have recommended this office to two friends already!

He is always patient and down-to-earth about what we need to do and our various options for orthopedic pain. I like that he is more interested in non-surgical interventions and in teaching us what to do to promote healing and living a pain free lifestyle. My mother has been seeing Dr. Gluzman for over a year now. He shares an office with a spine surgeon (also an amazing doctor, btw).Dr. Gluzman is very knowledgeable, sincerely caring, and has awesome bedside manners for patients. He takes the time to LISTEN to the patient, rather than go hmm hmm, write a prescription, and send you back out in less than 2 minutes. Dr. Gluzman truly cares about his patients and takes the time to get to know their medical issue, and the patient as a person. As a medical psychologist who has worked with patients in pain for any years am I found Dr. Gluzman to be very thoughtful and was willing to listen. I was referred to him by my surgeon after a very serious injury and after the surgery to manage my pain. He was thoughtful was willing to listen as listening is a skill in this field and he is very proficient at it. He provided a treatment plan that lent itself to managing the severity of my pain. I’ve found Dr Gluzman after years and years of migraines and neck pain. Not only was he able to quickly diagnose my neck pain, but he was able to make a plan or care for me with the ultimate goal of zero pain. I started Botox for my migraines. Honestly have never been so happy another office chose to not answer their phones. I was looking for a doctor to help with an older injury that was beginning to cause me issues. I don’t like being handed pills or a bunch of unnecessary diagnostics. Dr Gluzman got to the point with the injury as well as giving me information on my treatment options. He doesn’t touch unnecessary medication nor diagnostics and surgery. His office staff is awesome and was super helpful in regards to scheduling and handling insurance issues. If theres no reason for a treatment, he will tell that there is no need for any treatment. We visited Dr. Gluzman to have a consultation for my husbands shoulder pain. Dr. Gluzman performed an ultrasound and used the latest technology to show us the results in real time. It was very impressive! We were able to see the torn rotator cuff which ended up being the culprit. He was very intelligent, professional, and easy going. I have been seeing Dr. Gluzman for over a year now for my leg and back pain. He helped me greatly thru all the testing and treatments but alas I eventually had surgery to fuse my L4 and L5. Now no pain. I still see him on occasion to follow up with any possible issues. I have pain management doctors in the past and by far Dr Guzman is the best, he listens and gave you the strait deal, no messing around, it not maybe it a for sure with him. Great staff. The were caring and very helpful. Dr Gluzman is a no nonsense person who explained why I was having pain an how he was going to take care of it. After over 3 months of extreme discomfort he made me feel better after the first treatment. Only wish I had not waited so long. I had sciatica that had been getting worse and worse for months. I was working with a physical therapist who made some improvements but I had plateaued completely. My PT referred me to Dr. Gluzman and after initial consultation then first real visit I was 85% better. It was such a relief and improvement that I actually considered not going back for my second visit as I didn’t think there is anyway I could continue to get better. However on my follow up I did go ahead and continue treatment and after my second visit was up to 95% better I was blown away. Really nice guy and a good office but considering the results I would recommend him even if he wasn’t as nice and professional as he is.

I saw Dr. Gluzman for about five years and he treated me with Lyrica to help me with my spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. Then I got into a surfing accident and he decided to do a facet joint injection and there was a serious complication and I haven’t been able to walk in 2 years. Dr. Gluzman hit a nerve In my low back and severely disabled me where I am in excruciating pain every single day not able to work and not able to walk. My life has completely changed. I just want to share my story with you guys so you can know what he has done to his patients. I really thought he cared about me. dr. Gluzman made a life altering mistake. Then he just tells me to go see somebody else and nobody can figure out why I’m in so much pain other than the facet joint injection was done wrong and now I’m disabled and life is very tough.

Even so, Dr. Gluzman kept trying new treatments until we found something that worked for me. I have spent the last decade of my life in severe debilitating pain after being injured on a structure fire. I have seen many pain management doctors, all whom only prescribed drugs and left me with no quality of life. Dr. Gluzman and his staff have given me my life back. I came to Dr. Gluzman a year ago, however I was on so much pain medication, sleeping pills, and anxiety medication, Dr. Gluzman said he would not treat me due to the amount of medication my pain management doctor had prescribed to me. I started crying as I had no quality of life left. Dr. Gluzman looked at me and said, “I will treat you but not on this amount of medication.” That was a year ago, today I am beyond blessed as under the care of Dr. Gluzman I am off all but two medications that I continue to decrease the amount until I am completely off medication. There are no words that can express my gratitude and thanks to Dr. Gluzman and his staff. My injury was life changing and the last decade I was just existing. Came to Dr. Gluzman with arm pain and many questions, not knowing where to turn. His examination and use of imaging helped me understand my pain. He reviewed all treatment options and validated my concerns. Ultimately, I left with exercises to continue, bracing to minimize further injury and cortisone injections. Though tattoo’d I’m deftly afraid of needles. Dr. Gluzman walked me through the process and I honestly didn’t even feel the needle. I left without pain and it has yet to return.

So grateful for Dr Gluzman (outstanding office staff as well) for finding a solution to tremendous hip pain I had dealt with for over a year post hernia surgeries. Miserable sleep patterns (waking up every 2 hours or so) not able to get any real sleep....ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE!!!...I had multiple specialists examine me sending me for a plethora of procedures relating to nerve pain (MRIs, nerve-conduction tests, etc) to no avail. Dr Gluzman found that I had a hip flexor weakness and remedied the pain with an injection into the muscle/tendon area (brining immediate relief) and put me on an exercise program to strengthen the weak area and Im back to normal sleep patterns and no discomfort during the day!!.THANK YOU!..I highly recommend Dr Gluzman!!!

I am very active and regularly train in extremely active contact sports. Any setback or injury is difficult for me to deal with as physical exercise is a huge part of my life and even the thought of being sidelined due to injury gives me anxiety.Upon my initial consultation, Dr. Gluzman spent more time with me than my past 5 Dr. visits, for unrelated issues, combined. He asked multiple questions about my daily training regimen, cause of injury, current treatment and goals moving forward.My experience with most Physicians these days is they spend as little time as possible with you, prescribe medication and send you on your way. Not Dr. Gluzman. His goal was to identify the root cause of my injury, identify a treatment protocol, advise as to a path to correct posture and movement to decrease future risk of re-injury.After receiving a treatment protocol of Prolotherapy (for a shoulder injury that caused major inflammation), I was able to return to training at a high level 5 days a week. I was not able to lift my arm above my head pre--treatment!5 Stars for Dr. Gluzman...A true proponent of the Hippocratic Oath!

I was referred to this doctor for my migraine headaches. I have had these for over 30 yrs. Not much of anything helped. He gave me an injection in my neck, and within a few minutes the pain was gone and the shot lasted for 4 months. I just there on 1/21/2021. I can go from 4-5 months without a migraine.!!!! I was excited to bring a friend with me to my appointment to introduce her to Dr. Gluzman, hoping that he may be able to help her in future. I was mortified by the entire appointment and embarrassed that I subjected my friend and myself to the experience. When presented with a question regarding my lab results, Dr. Gluzman said that since he didnt order the labs, he wasnt going to discuss them with me. I understood that, but wasnt asking about the results. I only wanted to know what the initials for a particular test stood for. He began by telling me that it wasnt necessary for me to know that since I wasnt a doctor and when my friend suggestion we just look it up on the internet, he rolled his eyes and said we could waste our time doing that, but since we werent doctors, we didnt need to. I was mortified by his condescending attitude. Then, he proceeded to tell me that my x-rays were negative, therefore my pain was negative and that I needed to, Find something else to worry about. During the awkward silence, my friend received a text from her daughter who is visiting Israel. This sent Dr. Gluzman off on a negative rant about Israel and cell phones, ending with a snide comment about the electromagnetic energy in my friends pelvic region - his words, not mine (her phone was in her lap). I left the office knowing I had been thoroughly dismissed and the clear message that he does not want to see me again. No worries, I wont be back. Sadly, I will miss the amazing office staff. They always bend over backwards to help you and are wonderful people.
