The BEST eye exam experience Ive ever had, living in many places across the US. Seriously. The combination of the latest technology and Dr. Huyns friendly, highly approachable way of explaining all of the medical details in an easy-to-understand manner makes every appointment feel effortless and informative, while giving me immediate confidence in knowing the status of my eye health (which I highly value with a busy lifestyle!). I had an eye emergency today and couldve gone to Urgent Care but Dr. Huyn was the only person I wanted to examine the situation. I cant stress enough how reassuring Dr. Huyn is regarding medical knowledge and her bedside manner is ALWAYS sincerely filled with care. Even though she was fully booked and one of her staff members was trying to send me to urgent care, Dr. Huyn, still found a way to squeeze me in. I am so grateful for Dr. Andrea Huyn and cant say enough good things about her medical practice.

Amazing customer service! I made an appointment and came in today for an eye exam. It is my first time, but my wife and daughter have been here in the past.The staff upfront and the optometrist that saw me, her name was Jackelyn (I believe, 95% sure lol). It was not Dr. Huyn today.They all were very welcoming, very kind, and very helpful team. What I enjoyed the most was that the front staff was not trying to pressure me into buying a more expensive type of glasses or to add things to the lenses that on my case, would be unnecessary. Thank you all for a hassle free experience.The optometrist, Jackelyn was very knowledgeable, and patient with me as we went through my eye exam. This was my first time at this location, I arrived and only waited about 10 minutes which I was totally fine with. The doctor came out and apologized for the wait and was extremely nice and caring. It was by far the best eye appointment I’ve ever had with excellent customer service. Each and every employee was absolutely wonderful and continued to apologize for the wait which was not even long. They then helped me for over 30 minutes to apply my contacts (it was my first time trying them). The doctor even had another patient after me but continued to help me and check on me while I tried to apply my contacts. They were extremely encouraging and patient with me as well and told me I could stay as long as I need in order to get comfortable applying my contacts before I went home. I’ve never had such great customer service. I absolutely will be referring my friends and family. Thank you so much.

I took my mom to see Dr. Huyn for her eye exam post her cataract surgery and the appointment went well. We were very pleased with Dr. Huyn and her team, everyone was so kind and patient with us. I had to translate for my mom and Dr. Huyn took her time to help answered all questions and thoroughly explained things, to make sure we understand the after care and how to address my moms pain. She recommended some drops for my mom’s dry eyes and follow up with her if needed. After, we went to look for the eye drops at target & couldn’t find any, so we went back to ask Dr. Huyn where we could find it. She told us to check online and gave us another supply to hold us on until we were able to order it. Mom felt Dr. Huyn was very professional, kind and helpful. She will be back for future exams and highly recommends Dr. Huyn and her team. Thanks Dr. Huyn.

Dr. Huyn is awesome! I brought in my two daughters aged 4 and 8 to see her and we had a great experience. She took the time to explain everything that she was doing, to put my two very nervous girls at ease, Overall our exams were quick, efficient, and thorough. It turns out that my older daughter needed glasses, we were able to select a pair of frames that she loves, which were very reasonably priced. I ended up getting a pair of prescription sunglasses myself that I am very happy with. This place is a hidden gem, great service, value, and selection of frames. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

I had trouble with either the contacts or the prescription and went back a couple of weeks after my first exam. Dr. Huyn was really helpful, spent lots of time with me and we are trying some different types of contacts. They will also exchange my contacts and modify my two prescription glasses if needed. My first time at Target Optical, and I was VERY impressed. Im a first time glasses wearer, never had any issue with my eyes until now, so I was a little nervous. Dr. Huyn was great! Dr. Huyn is so sweet and informative! Whenever she asked me questions about my eyes or vision, she always followed up with why she asked in simple terms. She was quick and efficient with the exam and also explained each test to me. She was also very helpful during my contact lens fitting and made sure I walked away feeling comfortable with what was in my eyes. I ended up learning a lot of information about my eyes during my appointment with her! She and Jacob were also very knowledgeable about my insurance coverage, which was extremely helpful since I had just gotten new vision insurance.If youre in a rush and trying to do a walk-in, I dont recommend going during busier times on weekends - it seemed like it was just 2 people working in the optometry at a time, so when they get busy you may have to wait a bit. However they were always so friendly with everyone and made sure they were attended to and their questions were answered.Dr. Huyn genuinely cares about your eyes and vision. If youre looking for a new place to get your eyes checked, I highly recommend Dr. Huyn!
