Cant really put it into words how happy I am with the work Larry provided. As anyone who is considering SMP knows, it can be a scary decision. After all, you already feel self conscious about losing your hair so the last thing you want to do is something that makes you more self conscious. Well going to Larry for the initial consultation was the best decision I made regarding this. He was very knowledgeable and listened to all my concerns. But the best part of it all was I could really tell he cared about his work, took pride in it. I booked 3 appointments with him based on his recommendation and after the 1st treatment I already knew I had made the right choice. Its pretty much painless, maybe uncomfortable at times but nothing to even be concerned with. Larry was quick but never rushed and explained everything as he went. Now that Ive done my 3rd treatment, Im overwhelmed how happy I am. If you are considering doing SMP, do yourself a favor and call him. I drove a hour from Chino Hills and it was well worth it. I decided on this establishment based on the reviews, and Larry did not disappoint!I needed help concealing moth-eaten bald spots I had on the back and sides of my head from a hair transplant, as well as a couple of horizontal scars I have on both sides of my head.My goal was to ultimately not have to spend so much time using a beard filler pencil or need it at all to cover said moth spots and patchiness along the scars where my hair doesnt grow that well. Since I like to keep my hair short (cut it every 2-3 weeks), these spots can be noticeable.Im lucky enough that my hair loss at 30 yrs of age has only been my temples and hasnt progressed to my crown or passed that. But still needed a transplant nonetheless, and with Larrys help, I feel like I got the finishing touch, the chefs kiss sort of speak.For any smp procedures, this is your guy!! I know who Im going to in the future when I need work done, do you!?

Larry is incredible at his trade. He has mastered the SMP process and did such a great job for me. People always comment on my nice hairline and buzz cut, little do they know I don’t have much hair at all! 😂 In addition to doing an incredible job, Larry is also a very kind gentleman that consistently stops to make sure you’re ok, offers drinks, and has a very positive mindset that you can’t help but appreciate. I will continue to get my touch ups with Larry as long as his shop is open! It took me a while to pull the trigger and decide to do this SMP. I am always hesitant to do this since this is process is permanent and I dont want to regret it if it doesnt look good on me. After checking all the reviews and the website, I finally submit an inquiry and Larry sent me a message right away. He also called me and explain how the process is. He is very professional and knowledgeable. Long story short, I set up the appointment. Larry is very welcoming and he assured me that I made the right choice. He explained to me the entire process and he was very cooperative to what I need to do and what outcome I want to have. He was very open to work whatever I need but he also suggested what he thinks the best for me. I had 3 sessions in total and very much happy with the result. This was a wonderful experience and I am extremely satisfied with how everything turned out. I’m so glad I finally decided to get this done and that I chose Larry, who is a consummate professional. The procedure does take some time (for me, it was several hours per session and I had three total within a one month period), but fortunately Larry is a great conversationalist, which made the time fly by and was also a great distraction from the mild discomfort I occasionally experienced.In terms of results, my new hairline could not look more natural. Several people have complimented my appearance noting that something has changed, but they can’t quite figure out what; just that I look “extra handsome.” I also appreciated that Larry valued my satisfaction as a customer. He offered me a final touch-up down the road at no cost (even though the price was very reasonable and much less than expected) if I feel I need it.If you’re on the fence, I’d highly recommend pulling the trigger. I came to SMP Downey and met Larry after I had work done from another SMP place that didnt do good job. Larry went the extra mile and way above and beyond to give me the optimum results.Months prior knowing about SMP Downey I have tried to look for other SMP companies to fix my problem. I made an appointment and drove about 90 miles (one-way) from work to a reputable SMP company in West Hollywood... long story short, it was a totally let down and great disappointment. To this day, nobody from that company has even call me back for an apology.From my experiences and after meeting Larry, I honestly DONT think theres another SMP artist be as great as Larry in the whole southern California... seriously. Where do I start. First off, when I saw the reviews and the quote Larry gave me I was looking forward to the procedure.When I arrived at the Downey location on August 2, I became hesitant because of the small office size and wondered if Larry was the real deal. But his own story (which you can find online) along with his experience (being trained by the best), I knew he was the right choice and I was right. After the third session, I told Larry “if this doesn’t fade anytime soon, it will be the best investment/best money I ever spent.Larry stands behind his work, takes pride in his work and takes care of his customers. Amazing!!!!This is truly the word that expresses everything about this procedure. The results truly are life changing in my view. I was so skeptical at first, but I am so overwhelmingly satisfied and happy with the results!!!! I debated doing this for so long, did research and finally decided to get the consult. Larry is so knowledgeable and actually a pioneer in the field. He broke it all down for me fairly easy so I can understand what was entailed.Ultimately, I decided to move forward. I was a little nervous at the beginning but there was no pain and the process flys by. I had a total of 4 sessions and it was after the third where the difference became very noticeable. It was subtle and my friends knew something had changed but didn’t really know what it was. I got comments like, “did you get a haircut”, “you look different”, “you look younger”, and so on. I look in the mirror every day and I am so happy with the results!!!! It’s really something how your entire self esteem can change when you feel better about yourself.My hair is really thin and looked like I was balding in areas and had the density procedure. Basically filling in and darkening those thinning areas so that they look fuller. It really does look amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the overall results. I underwent the micro scalp pigmentation procedure and its easily one of the best decisions I made for myself. The process involves a consultation with Larry who evaluates your scalp and sets expectations for the results of the procedure. The process took place in 3 session, the first and second session were a week apart with the session lasting 2 to 3 hours. My last session was scheduled 2 - 3 week later. Larry is very passionate about his work and will provide touch ups and additional sessions at no additional charge until you are happy with the results. I am extremely happy with only 3 sessions but I have peace of mind knowing that if/when the color fades, I can contact Larry and he will gladly touch up free of charge.If anyone is thinking about undergoing this procedure, please reach out to Larry and at least have a free consultation, you have nothing to lose. 46 years old should not feel like and elderly person just because of hair loss. That is how I was feeling. My wife and I both know there is more to life than external appearances, but there is something more to be said about the confidence in a person when not worried about hiding being bald. If you want to look good and save money, this is the place! Larry is an amazing artist, and does his best to make you look your best.Like many males past 40, Ive been losing some hair. Not enough to consider a hair transplant, but enough to want to do something about it. My crown started to get thin, and my hairline started to get patchy.
