Since the Thomas Fire, the homeowners insurance market, including fire, has become extremely challenging here in the Ojai Valley - insurers are dropping insureds and leaving town in droves. We were at our wits end, unable to find anyone who would cover us. Finally, we gave up and called Doug Crawford Ins. Agency. They found coverage for us and the process was painless and simple. Staff is friendly and responsive, we couldnt recommend them more highly.

This is a great, locally-owned and staffed family-run business. They are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Bryan has been my agent for years and has always been very quick to respond and has given great advice that has saved me a lot on insurance costs. We recently went through a construction project and I needed a builders risk policy. I call Bryan, he says Hey, my sister Charlene just did this for another client, let me put you through to her and in no time I have the policy in hand. The level of customer service and attention from Bryan and Charlene is so rare these days, they are truly a stand-out!

If you have questions about insurance then you need to talk with Brian and his staff. Due to the nature of my business we buy several cars a year. Almost every time this has been my one stop shop incl the DMV paperwork!!!!! Who has time for that? Brian is always available to assist me with all my insurance needs. We received personal service from Jessica when buying a condo and having to deal with a newly instated flood designation. She initially issued 2 policies, then through investigating the complete condo structures insurance ended up canceling our flood insurance and found us a cheaper home owners policy for the unit.
