Stayed two nights in room 241 and it was amazing. Everything was clean and operational. We are breakfast and dinner here, both of which were great. The best thing was access to Bay Club, you will be so surprised at how huge, clean and amazing the Club is!! We will be back!!

The rooms are comfortable but this is 100% a three star hotel which needs a big fit out. The iron in the room wasn’t hot, no snacks or amenities in the room and even the room service menu is on some random tv station that didn’t even work. Friendly service and comfortable bed is what gives it 4 stars

The late night staff lady was weird and kind of a jerk. She gave me a key to a room with someone staying there. Luckily she caught her mistake last minute or that would have been weird AF.Blinds dont block out the sunAc is loud....This is like 1 step up from motel 6Windows and noise do not block out the loud trucks. Rooms are dated. Bens fine. Just the price is high for what you get. I would practically stay anywhere else except here...

BEWARE YOUR VEHICLES ARE NOT SAFE IN THAT PARKING LOT. THEY HAVE NO TYPE OF SECURITY TO PREVENT THEFT AND THEY DONT CARE. We loved this place we loved the pool area perfect for a stay cation. But after this last stay we wont be back. After a nice day by the pool we walked out to my truck to go get dinner and realized that both door handles were smashed and the ignition was destroyed. Someone had attempted to steel it. My Girlfriend went back to the hotel and staff member Mario came out. For someone reason Mario was extremely nervous. I asked if they had cameras he told me no. Who doesnt have cameras in the parking lot. I asked if there was any other reports from the previous night he said there wasnt. He then gos on to tell me that they have had a lot of issues with auto break ins and thefts. I called the police to make a report the officer then told me that they have had a lot of reports for auto thefts and break ins and was absolutely shocked they have not invested in security or cameras. The hotel offered no type of hospitality no apologies nothing. I filed a complaint in the hotel and never heard anything. I filed a complaint with corporate and they said response time was 1 to 3 business days its been a month never heard back. I do not hold the hotel responsible. I wanted to bring it to their attention and maybe get an appology and maybe some member points but this isnt an important enough issue for them to respond.What is absolutely crazy to me is that this day and age that they dont have any type of security keeping our vehicles safe in their parking lot especially after admitting to having trouble there. For what they charge they have cameras inside to keep the staff safe. Other then this issue its a nice place.

Handicap person and was given the farthest room away from the elevator. Was told they were sold out, but, the person behind wanted a king bed and was given a room without questioning. Frustrated but I guess I should happy I had a room.

I was here for a very quick stay. The room was clean and tidy, as was the property.The biggest issue I had was that there was no access from the inside of the property to the workout facility. I was told it was a short walk outside to get there. That’s a pain.We ate dinner on the property and the food was decent. The waitstaff was wonderful. They have breakfast in the morning, but charge $17.95.

Pleasanton, CA. This hotel still proudly retains its grandeur from years past. The staff serve and welcome guests with dignity and the rooms and grounds are impeccably kept. It has survived the pandemic economy thanks to the loving care of its staff.My king size bed slept oh so comfortably and the sheets were clean and soft. Everything was clean. The shower came on hot quickly and water didn’t leak out. The room felt light, airy and gracious. The pool, waterfall, and deck area with its flower beds were relaxing at all hours of the day.A huge plus were the electric car chargers near the front lobby. They were fast chargers, too. We rented an electric car for our vacation and were so pleased to find the best charging station in our area was in the parking lot of our hotel!Breakfast was delicious. You can order the buffet or go a la carte. I enjoyed the buffet, especially the fruit, breakfast potatoes, and pastries.Highly recommend!

The best part of this hotel is that the staff is amazing! The other best part is that the food is really good in the restaurant. I just wish it was open for lunch as well. The hotel is always so clean. You always see towels stocked at the pool. Everybody is always so friendly. We absolutely love staying there!!!

If youre visiting Pleasanton or the Tri Valley, this is an excellent place to relax and reminisce.Plenty of restaurants within a 3 mile radius, a great atmosphere. And if youre looking for a little action, you my run into high-end ladies of the evening that you would never know thats their lifestyle.So if this is your cup of tea, do not hesitate to book a room. You might even find yourself a companion.

We hosted our 50th Wedding Anniversary at this venue and everything worked out great. We had 60 people in their Players Restaurant (which can hold close to 100) in the evening. Bar, yummy buffet, dance floor. Tiffany, Sara & the staff were so very helpful.Thank you again.P.S. We had attended our 50th HS Reunion in the same room a few months prior with 100 people and it was great also.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the DoubleTree in Pleasanton for a one-day trip, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel was enjoyable, clean, and the service was top-notch.From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was a breeze. The lobby was modern and stylish, and the hotel had a really relaxed vibe. My room was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, and I had a great nights sleep.The hotel was spotlessly clean, and I was really impressed by the level of attention to detail that the staff had put in. The common areas, including the lobby and the restaurant, were well-maintained and inviting.I also have to give a special mention to the service at this hotel - it was truly top-notch. Overall, I would highly recommend the DoubleTree in Pleasanton to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable hotel stay. The hotel is clean, stylish, and the service is exceptional. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I was hoping for a nicer stay but there were some issues. The pricing was higher after I compared a day before (booked in advance). I had just stayed in Los Angeles and didn’t spend as much and in Los Angeles it was a newer / nicer place along with valet. I had to circle around for quite a while to get a decent parking spot. I paid extra for a view that was misleading. The diagram online showed a pool view but the view I got was just bushes. Dog was next room and just kept barking. The bathroom design isn’t very good and very outdated. Shower tub was really high and had to kneel to wash hair. Water easily gets outside tub due to small shower curtain. I hate posting negative experiences but I feel this one is needed. Would not recommend

I have been a long time customer of Hilton Double Tree Pleasanton, CA But not anymore!On July 28, 2023 I paid over $13K for an event room that was ruined by other guests of the hotel that were in attendance with their sports team. They allowed the kids to roam the halls in large groups, disturbing the booked rooms playing doorbell ditch, very loud, in hall ways and lobby areas. I had an event with over 60 guests, comedian, 4 speakers, dinner served, and music. I had to post two people outside of the event space to control the door and keep the kids from entering. We reported the indecent to the front desk as well as a follow up email to the Sales Team Manager Don Martinez. We were able to get our room stay accommodated but when asked about an accommodation for our very expensive event that was ruined and many complaints from our guests, Don Martinez response was to tell us that the General Manager would not accommodate the event room. I am very disappointed in the response and as a result, I will never attend this particular hotel again. I will follow up with a letter to corporate too.Do not waste your time on this hotel. They will stiff you if ever this type of incident happens again. This is very unprofessional and unbecoming of the Giant chain.

One of your employees tried to enter our room late at night!!! I know it wasnt anyone in my party because we had both the keys inside the room, and when I came out of the bathroom, the door was opened but deadlocked so it couldnt open all the way. My girlfriend, who is just out of an abusive past, was too afraid just to go to sleep. For the price we paid for that room, something like that is completely unacceptable. We had towels sent up to our room early in the day and the guy that brought them up wasnt even looking at me, he was looking past me into the room clearly looking for something that had nothing to do with what he was there for.And on top of that whole creepy experience, when we checked in, the lady at the front desk told us the breakfast buffet was included with the stay. And only after we finished our breakfast were we told that it was 17 bucks each. Thats 7 plates at 17 bucks. So who lied to us the front desk or the kitchen staff?Ill need a response from this because after this were convinced that we never want to stay at a Hilton again!

Good hotel for a seminar. The gym is next door and a great option to keep workout routine as its a legit full membership gym. Pool looked well cared for, breakfast was over priced and similar to a Hampton complementary buffet.

Seems to be a nice hotel but attention to detail and service arent up to par.The rooms are large! I like my room to be very cold. The AC doesnt stay cold enough. I had to take out my portable fan to have it cool me down a bit. The room I had was sun-facing so it got pretty warm when I had the curtain open for sunlight.The gym is third-party and closes early on weekends. However, the Bay Club gym is FANTASTIC. I was there during the weekend and worked during the day. So early mornings were the only time I was able to go to the gym. No little workout location in the hotel itself, dispose of the 4th-floor sign that says the gym is to the left. Had to redirect a few ppl to the Bay Club. Told the front desk about the sign but they seem to not believe me.The restaurant food is good. Had great service and the chicken breast was nicely seasoned. The bartender was fantastic. Wish I got her name.The hot tub could be hotter. The jets just splash your face while you are in there and pushes out cold water. Its better to have no jets and sit in the still-warm water.Requested a luggage cart for departure and after 20 mins I ended up lugging my stuff down myself. No one ever arrived or seem them in passing.

When I was pitched the Diamond level benefits by a Hilton timeshare sales man when buying my timeshare, he mentioned that as a diamond member myself and and a companion would be able to have whatever we wanted for breakfast at any Hilton for free. Very disappointed that was a lie. The 15 dollar is barely enough to get a small breakfast for just one person. Your timeshare was all a lie that cost me $40,000 dollars. The benefits were just as disappointing. I’m planning on switching to Hyatt which has much better reviews.

Location and service was very poor. I was there for two nights. The AC didn’t work when I called the front desk and complained about the AC. They turned it on, but within few hours the AC was blowing hot air again. I think they are controlling the AC remotely in order to save money, so I couldn’t sleep both nights. Front desk staff had a very poor attitude towards customers. overall I had very bad experience. I would never stay there and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Before you book a room, search a little bit more and you will see better hotels around there.

Nice double tree right off the 580 and close to the outlets and plenty of food options. You have access to a large fitness facility which is also nice. They offer a breakfast buffet and have a bar on premise. Nice facility with a decent sized outdoor pool. I didnt take many pictures but Ill share the lobby and the pool. The beds arent comfortable but they have soft down pillows that help.

Front desk lady (I think her name is Jillian) wanted to charge us for the complimentary water…? What terrible service, never seen this before at a Hilton. Maybe they’re in need of money, even a couple bucks for the complimentary water will help I guess Hilton make it’s budget lol. Also, we asked for extra towels and coffee since the cleaners never made it to our room, and she wanted us to come to the front desk to pick up the items. Not sure she knows she works at a hotel? Very odd and weird service.

This hotel is good, but needs to be renewed ASAP.I was staying at the hotel for the past 3 years and the staff is amazing. Super friendly and always there to support you. The food is good too - Breakfast and In-room service.The rooms needs to be renewed. Looks pretty old.The excellent thing is the pass to the BAY CLUB GYM. Is an amazing place if you need to workout.The food around is good as well. You can find good restaurants to eat around the hotel and a mall if you need something to your trip.

This was a particularly frustrating experience since we had prepaid for our hotel stay and had a confirmation number. It was incredibly disheartening to be unable to check in despite having all the necessary documentation.As someone who has stayed at Doubletree hotels throughout the United States, I have never encountered such a negative experience before. This situation truly left a lasting impression, and I hope the management takes appropriate measures to ensure that such issues are avoided in the future.

Nice and clean hotel. Loved the Hilton app to check-in and choose my room. Loved being able to walk in and go straight to me room without having to go to front desk to check-in.Did not love the digital key. Wanted to love the digital key, because I love technology.... when it works. But it didnt work very well. Not sure why. I let the hotel know after our stay. Next time Ill stop by front desk to get a physical key just in case.

Came here for a dinner event in the silver event hall and the acoustics were really good. Salad was already on everyones plates before the event started. Each table came with a bread basket and water. Main course was fine - rice, chicken breast in a mushroom sauce, and brocollini. Dessert was a slice of Mango cake which was nice and airy.

I am a member of the Hilton, so I booked a stay at the hotel, which was convenient for the flight I had the following day, upon me checking out of the Hotel, once I arrived at the airport I realized that I left my curling iron in the bathroom to cool down I called the hotel and told them I forgot my iron in the room, the hotel clerk told me they would check with housekeeping and give me a call back or send me a message via email seven days later I haven’t heard from anyone. I can see if I thought I left something but I know for sure I did, but the time I realize it, It was tome to aboard my flight. I really think it’s bad business that no one has reached out to me yet. I’m writing this review to let you know if you leave something there consider it gone. I would no longer patronize this place of business anymore

Ive never had a bad stay here. Been a few times for work, stayed anywhere from a week to two weeks. Front desk was always gracious and accommodating, cleaning crew were courteous and thorough, and the restaurant/bar staff were always kind. Food was good, not great. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. There was an omelette bar which was nice! Didnt spend much time in the pool or hot tub, but it was nice to just sit out and relax.

The bartenders at the bar are very friendly and intelligent. I think the mattresses are very nice, but not as good as some of the Marriotts beds. I like the thicker mattresses. Personal preference of course. Louann at the front desk gave me the price I saw on the Doubletrees website instead of the going rate. I was very 😄😀.

We stay at this hotel every Labor Day Weekend because our event is held at this hotel. The staff is always helpful the rooms are always spotless and we checkout feeling wonderful and well taken care of. I highly recommend it and cant wait to see you next year. Thank you for everything!

Stole my credit card information after making a purchase at the vending machine. I stayed at that group with multiple people and they all made two purchases at the vending machine and all of them had purchases made with their cards. Ruined the rest of my trip because we all had to cancel are cards and had nothing but cash

Booked a hotel room with my wife and 2 kids. Turns out the heater in our room is busted. They offered to switch us into another room after we have already been situated in the room or replace it. We were already in our PJ about to sleep so we opted to replaced the unit after being told it will take only 20 minutes. It did not take only 20 minutes. Granted the repair guy was very nice I’m very unhappy and unable to recommend.

Continental breakfast wasnt cheap, but was good. Room was sparse, but worked. Lack of even basic amenities (not even a bottle of water in the room) was a bit of a disappointment. I even overlooked the peanuts left on the floor when I first got into my room. Maybe their idea of a freebie?But the real problem was the cockroach that crawled across the entertainment center on the last morning of my stay. Couldnt check out quickly enough.

As a hilton rewards member, I was seriously disappointed and dissatisfied in my stay last June 10, 2022. I was part of a wedding party who booked a stay at this hotel because the bride and groom had registered here. After the wedding, we came back to the hotel with the news that there has been a power outage. We were told by the front desk that the issue should be resolved by 1230pm but the power did not come back until the next day at 230pm.We had an uncomfortable and unsafe sleep. In addition to the power outage, there were police cars outside the hotel waiting. We later found out from one of our friends who stayed at the second floor that there has been a domestic violence that happened in one of the rooms. Who knows if there was a connection between the power outage and the crime but the point being is that as guests, we had a horrible experience.The hotel did not even provide us flashlights/candles to help us navigate our way around the room. They had also ran out of hot water by the morning.At check-out, I had expressed my dissatisfaction at the front desk and had requested to talk to the manager but the person at the front desk could only ask my email in return. Until now I havent heard/received any email from management regarding my request for a refund/compensation.I consider myself a fair person and I understand that there are some things we cannot control but this is the Hilton! A good hotel should have ample generator capacity to handle a power outage and not allow it to last beyond 3 hours! This is unacceptable!So please if youre considering booking here, think TWICE! This hotel is not worth your money. Dont believe me? Call the front desk and ask about how guest access the elevators. You dont even need to swipe to get to your floor. Meaning, no security whatsoever so anyone can go up to your floor. Its very unsafe!

My son reserved two adjoining rooms for us. Both had a king size bed with a nice tv, dresser, mini bar, a fold-out sofa bed and a couple night stands. The bathroom was large including a large counter and nice tub. They had a hairdryer available in one of the drawers. When we arrived check in was easy and staff polite. The view from my room was of the pool area. The night was peaceful and quiet. Close to the freeway but could not hear it. I would stay here again.

Power was out for 15 hours which isn’t the hotels fault but there was no compensation for time lost and it was unsafe walking through pitch black hallways, even offering flashlights to guests would of been helpful. I had to use my phone flashlight to get to my room and then in my room but had no way of charging it after so was stuck with a dead phone next day. Elevators weren’t functioning even after power restored. Customer service didn’t seem to care, would put me on hold when I called but not even answer the phone first just hit the hold button and I’d hear the hold music playing. Walls are thin you can hear everyone’s conversations as you walk through the hallways. The room was clean but that’s the only positive thing I can say about our stay.

The fire pits, through the roof customer service, jacuzzi and of course pool view .I enjoyed my first stay here back in 2021, I decided to enjoy my birthday with some family and friends.We played Yahtzee, Uno, Dominos, drinks food and enjoyed each others presence.I just lost my sister Dec 1st 2022 and was in very much need of a road-tripI must say I am honored to be a Hilton honors member . I took everything in and left with a big smile on my face .A breath of fresh air, in the rain :-)

Ive stayed here twice. Great staff! Clean and comfortable rooms. Wonderful gym/club attached. Helpful shuttle service. Not much within walking distance. Must drive or take the shuttle to get to good dinner options.Update: I stayed here again—now three times in two years. It was such a wonderful stay that I’m updating my already positive review to 5 stars. I will absolutely stay there again. The digital key and self check-in/out through the Hilton app is wonderful. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff members are fantastic. The gym is world-class.

Not so impressed by the customer service. I know they “try” to be polite and nice, but lack of genuine love. Maybe I’m expecting too much.I’m not impressed by the membership status either,since it’s my first time staying here. I also got contacted for my dog is making noise (I travel frequently never had this happened before), my husband have to drive an hour back and forth to get him.Overall, I think I wont come back, it’s not really for us. Everyone is different. I prefer more cozy and warm atmosphere, free breakfast regardless of membership status. I prefer some other hotels than this one...

Overall hotel was good. Lots of friendly dogs. Biggest grief is they exclude pantry from F&B credit yet there is no sign or indication that it’s excluded. Bad enough free breakfast are gone but overinflated prices and exclusions add insult to injury.Front desk staff nice. This is a management issue.

Im not even sure how to start this review since there were so many issues with this hotel. We coordinated with the hotel over a year ago to create a wedding room block. At the time, the hotel seemed decently priced ($120/night) for our wedding guests. Unfortunately, the actual hotel stay proved we should have went with another location due to the following issues:(1) Smoke smell in many of the rooms. If they had a year during the pandemic to improve rooms, it definitely didnt smell like it.(2) Luke warm water. It was a hot day during our stay, but every hotel should still be expected to provide decently hot water for showers. This was before the power outage issue Ill describe further below.(3) Traffic noise. This wasnt a problem for me, but if youre sensitive to noise, this hotel is adjacent to a big highway interchange.(4) Many of my guests had to check in at 6 PM or later...after the 3 PM advertised check in time.Now for the more concerning issues of the stay:(5) Arguing and fighting outside the hotel lobby. Police were called. Unrelated to the next issue.(6) A thief/degenerate was scouting the hotel bar and restaurant. Hotel security apparently already knew of the person but for some reason didnt remove her from the hotel. She attempted to trespass into my brides suite and had to be forcibly removed.(7) Power outage on what was the hottest day of the week from at least 9 PM to 12 PM the next day. According to hotel management, PG&E is entirely to blame and the hotel can only provide 50% off one night...for a room with no power. And of course they refunded some of my guests only 25% or nothing at all, and it wasnt until I intervened that they caught the overlooked mistake and refunded 50% to all. Regardless, 50% is not acceptable for a room without power. Management at this hotel thinks a $60 rate is market price for a room without power when no customer would even consider a stay if they knew they wouldnt have electricity. Im sure if my guests did not complain, the hotel would have gladly charged everyone the full original cost.And one bonus oddity:(8) My room had six TV remotes. Four older ones and two newer ones that actually worked. I would expect a hotel chain to have a little more attention to detail for their rooms.I hate writing reviews and wish I didnt have to, but I just want to make sure nobody has to experience this level of incompetence and failure to provide decent customer service. Id say spend more to be safe and have a pleasant hotel stay, but you could probably spend less at a run down motel and still get better customer service.Overall, this hotel is not dependable for large events and will not provide adequate customer service if something goes wrong. It seems that $60 is more important to the DoubleTree Hilton than a customers future business.

Great location, but too loud. I could hear people in the next room and in the hallways all night. They really need to noise proof doors and walls? Ive never had this bad of a noise problem at any other hotel.Toilets were also really low, if you have knee problems like I do then request ada room.

We got an amazing deal on our room, possibly because we booked early for our trip? Not sure, but the room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Coming from someone with back issues, I need a really comfortable bed when I travel, and this one had it!! Even the breakfast buffet was done really well! Everything was made fresh, almost like it was made to order!!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. there were hundreds of little soccer players there on my first night and I still felt like I was given great service, even though they were always at the front desk asking for cookies. Room was great, spacious and quiet (considering the soccer kids were up all night running down the halls I only heard them a handful of times).

Clean, courteous, Club. Thats how I think of it. Stayed here couple times and it doesnt disappoint. It has 2 pools - one each for the hotel and club. Theyre renovating the breakfast area right now but last time, breakfast was pretty nice. Employees are courteous and ready to help out. Wish they had business center a little more separate from the desk and with Windows, but it works.

The hotel is nicely kept and has a very nice bar and lounge/outdoor patio and pool area. The only issue we had was they didnt make or provide any linens for the fold out bed even though we asked for it. But we called and they brought them to our room in less than 5 minutes. Overall we were extremely satisfied.

7E2A05: I had a nice stay at this hotel. The room was nice and spacious with everything working well. The bed was pretty comfortable. I slept pretty good except for one night during my stay. The bath was adequate. The tub faucet was little loose for setting the hot water temperature adjustment but I was able to make it work. The hotel staff members at front desk, housekeeping and restaurant were courteous and pleasant. The hotel location is also pretty convinient for me. Overall we had a nice stay. We also used their meeting room for few days with ctesting. The food plenty and delicious.

Due to a website error, I didnt get the room I thought I had booked, but when I showed the staff the photo on the website, they realized the website was in error and said theyd get that fixed ASAP. Unfortunately, they didnt have another of that room available, but did move me to a better room than what I had. I even ended up with them moving a brand new couch/sofa bed into my room to accommodate my need to spread out my paperwork around me on the sofa when I work.Restaurant downstairs has really good food and a full bar. Staff there is super friendly and attentive.I leave for work too early in the morning to take advantage of the breakfast, so cant comment on that.I think Ive found my new favorite place to stay when Im in the San Ramon/Dublin/Pleasanton area.

I attended an event here at the DoubleTree and found the initial welcome to be very nice. Its not the fanciest entry but very nicely appointed with friendly staff and good seating areas.There is good signage from the road and lots of parking.The staff assisting the event was okay. It was difficult to get service when needed and there was no supervisor that was scanning the room. I had to wait several minutes to flag down a waiter to get some help.The food quality was good but they were not flexible in any dietary restrictions. I asked for no sauce on my salmon dish and was told that it would not possible to make that modification. Luckily, the rice was delicious. However, they didnt have the training to ask me why I made that request nor offer me any accommodation. I would have been thrilled with just a place of rice instead of leaving the event hungry.The room had good lighting and was quite large and comfortable. We were in what seemed to be one of the larger rooms. Noise could not be heard from outside the room and the acoustics was good.Overall, I would consider this location to host an event but definitely inquire about dietary accommodations for guests.

Most hotels offer brief conferences room use at no charge and some charge a small fee ($25 to $75). I dont mind paying, but $300 is ridiculous... My room cost less than this!

So I flew in from South Carolina, and around 7pm West coast time. I was exhausted from all the travel of the day. I laid down fell fast asleep.. About 11:30pm I woke up to people being extremely loud! Walked out to the desk, and asked what time the pool closed? 10:00pm. It was 11:30pm!!! Absolutely unacceptable. So loud!! Then all the people came inside, and it got worse.. Until around 12:30am. Im here on business for 20 daysThinking of finding somewhere else to stay if this is normal for this hotel. Im definitely going to find out..

Nicest hotel in the area, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, we had a ground floor room which included a lovely patio for us to sit on! The only downside was that the duvet had a hole in it which resulted in feathers everywhere, we rang the careline to get a new one which we were told we would but it never arrived. Another problem was that the water was shut off for a few hours which made using the toilet, shower or sink extremely difficult. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Ample parking spots. Conveniently located right off the I-580 and I-680 junctions. Many restaurants around the area.The staff is cordial and treats people with respect. I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Pleasanton the week of June 14. I had a very nice stay. The Agent that checked me in at the Fron Desk was so nice and jovial. What a treat after being quarantined for over a year. Its to know that people are still nice and happy. I chose to eat at the hotel resturant one night and the food was really really good. Normally the hotel good is mediocre, but the good had some nice flavors. I had the calamari, buffalo wings, and a cheeseburger. Very good food. Room was nice and clean. I have no complaints. I will be back next month.

Front desk staff were friendly but the room was just ok. Had booked a room with 2 queen beds that were not queen beds - they were doubles. And the mattresses desperately need to be replaced. Our room had not been cleaned well before we checked in - found several pieces of trash on the floor. I also dont understand why there were only 2 towels provided when we had 3 registered guests. We asked at the front desk for some additional towels...then had to call again 30 minutes later. Parking was included but breakfast was not.

This place is absolutely great! I was looking for a place near SF that was still easy to get around and free parking. I lucked out. It is 10 minuets from downtown Pleasanton which was a cute little area. One of the nicer hotels in the area though its getting a bit dated. They recently redid the dining area and bar and both of those are much nicer estheticly than they had been. The rooms are clean, the beds a bit too worn and the bathrooms are again clean but you can tell its age. Attached to one of the better gyms Ive seen anywhere and that serves as the hotel gym so if youre looking for any type of workout from a climbing area to indoor and outdoor tennis and basketball and weights and so on that can be a useful plus. One of the better hotels in the area but could definitely use a sprucing up in the rooms.

The front desk person (Chrystal), was extremely rude while we were checking, then later while we were asking for sheets FOR THE THIRD TIME. It was 10 pm and we were waiting for our sheets and I might mention that there is no WATER, we asked for the sheets at 9:50 and she said they would be there 2-3 minutes later after a harassing phone call. We were supposed to stay here for 3 nights but we will probably end up staying here for 1 night. I will also say that the toilet is very low to the ground and there is a mysterious scratch on the headboard

The hotel is fine for an individual booking but I wouldnt recommend them for a group booking. We booked a large group for a wedding party and had a few issues with stay:- Dated process with contracts that had to be printed and then sent back- They didnt have a bridal suite to get ready in so we (bride & groom) actually had to stay at a different hotel- Not enough options for entertaining guests. We wanted to have a welcome reception and the cost came down to $130 a person if we booked a banquet room. Instead we mentioned to guests, in our welcome bags, to join us in the lobby bar for an appetizer and a drink on us and we received an email from the booking manager that that we were not allowed to save tables for this type of event.- Also thought it was intrusive that the staff read the itinerary that were stuffed into the bags...- No shuttle to the wedding venue (some other hotels offer this)We also hosted a brunch the day after the wedding and had several issues:- the space was really small for 40 people- more people showed up that we expected and they wouldnt bring in extra chairs or silverware so our guests left to make room for other people- also I know this is policy in the contract but they wouldnt let us take the leftover food, and there was A LOT, so it was thrown out. Such a HUGE waste. So shameful that all that food was thrown out.In general, I was really disappointed with this property and would not recommend it for a group booking.

Even tho they have a free shuttle that can take you around, they only have one shuttle. I have to spend about $30 a day to lyft or uber around when the shuttle is not available.

I was on the first floor, and could easily here everyone in the bar as if they were right next door partying. Its a fair distance from the bar, but the sound traveled heavy. I could also hear everyone walking/talking in the hall and the cleaning crew the following morning at 8am. Again, Im not picky about noise, so trust me when I say the walls are super thin. If noise is a problem for you, youre probably better off on a higher floor.That said, I would stay here again

An elegant and lovely place to stay ! I thought it would be an express Best Western, but I was so wrong ! Huge rooms - with immense dressing areas and bathrooms . Very nice dining room with free continental breakfast & room service! The hot chocolate chip truck rolls in around 5 to deliver the free chocolate chip and walnut hot cookies available free all day ! The pool with waterfall was almost empty since it was so hot in Pleasanton but really a place where you need to be underwater! The hotel shuttle takes you within 5 miles of the hotel to shop or whatever in the quaint town . Apples all day at the welcoming front desk which changed my room and removed all my belongings by themselves since I wanted a bathtub so my hair didn’t get wet in the very modern shower. The gym is in another building attached next door and after that was the hair salon . All in all a very accommodating place I can’t wait to stay in again when I visit my family .

3/5The good: decently clean room, friendly staff, lots of amenities, check out time is reasonable for non morning persons.The bad: TV is hard coded (the coaxial cable is literally locked into the socket and tv so its the only input the tv will use) with the pre installed outdated cable the hotel offers. You cant stream your own stuff to the smart tv in the room and if you choose to use the hotel wifi the free wifi is good enough for opening web pages and checking email. Anything more data demanding, like streaming or playing games costs you $10 extra. (Its almost 2022, update the way your guests can entertain themselves). The bedding was also not what I expected when I booked a well known Hilton resort, it was a sheet, thin comforter and covered with another sheet. Pillows were small and cheap.Ive been to small mom and pop hotels that charge less and include more.

Nice hotel with a pool and jacuzzi. There is also a restaurant inside with a great selection of food for either breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kitchen stays open until about 11. Also free parking and the hotel partners with club sport next door which is a state of the art fitness center that I highly recommend. Overall a great hotel to stay at for a relaxing vacation or weekend getaway. Pleasanton is a nice area as well so enjoy.

As a diamond member should get free breakfast, not!!! I had 2 rooms, 1 of them for my special needs daughter, had a big tear in down comforter. Found out in morning, as she was covered in feathers, her special blanket, her pjs, all over entire room.Big mess. Probably far quieter than pre-COVID - as a result, the lounge and much of the lobby is closed down. This is an older but well-maintained Doubletree. Front desk and breakfast staff were very professional and helpful. It’s adjacent to I-580, so I decided to get a room facing south. Heard almost no highway noise. A big plus about this hotel is that you get free access to the adjacent Bay Club, which is a top-tier club with several outdoor pools. Although the Doubletree pool and hot tub were decent too.

Building is a little older but well maintained. The housekeeping staff took care of the room when I was out and left me alone when I needed to stay in and work one day. I have been a Hilton honor member for many years and never have had the worst experience with management. I flew for the last Raiders home game in Oakland. I had was able to get an earlier flight Back home so I requested to check out early and was informed that it will be a $50 early departure fee by Jessica. Another agent informed me the fee will be waived based on availability and to check the next day. I checked to next day and was informed the fee will be applied. I was given conflicting information by 2 different people at the same location on the same day. I then spoke with the manager Taryn Holley and she agreed it would be $50. I have had a reservation switched at this location without any issues or penalties in the past. I have stayed with Hilton many times and were able to have an early departure with out being penalized. The lack of inconsistency with the accommodations at this Hilton property is very disappointing. The staff appeared to not give a dam about me as a customer

I stayed there one night in April 2013 when I was in town for an event in Dublin. Jessica at the front desk was very nice and really very helpful. Hilton should know shes a great asset to their team. I liked having a bar accessible before bed, and I enjoyed breakfast in the morning, although it was pretty expensive. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and although the sofa was worn, most everything else seemed in good condition.I did not like the pool area closed at 10 pm, I did not get to use the hot tub because of how early the pool are closed, and that really made me mad. The hot tub was the reason I chose this hotel to begin with. I was disappointed with the size of the patio, its very small and only has 1 chair on it. Additionally, they have the area planted so heavily, you cant see the pool are from your patio, even though youre only sitting about 10 feet from it. I also did not like having to pay for internet access. Hotels that charge you $150 per night for a room should just give you the dam internet for free.

This is not the first time I have stayed here. This hotel is attached to Clubsport Pleasanton which is the main draw. The rooms are fine but they are not soundproof. You can hear people have a phone conversation, have sex and you can only imagine if they are partying after a wedding. I dont know how anyone sleeps with someone next to them. Also, the website states that you have all these amenities but they are through the Clubsport. Some are an additional $30 charge each time you use it.

I hosted an event for my company here, the service was great, the accommodating to many of our requests. However, if I had the chance to do another event in East Bay would never use Hilton. Is dated, the rooms smell and the decor is so old and ugly. Many of the guest rooms smell like cigarette, the pool is ugly and dated, in general the ambiance is like walking into a bad motel back in the 80s... avoid! Better host an event in the city

The location of this hotel is not desirable, there is a free shuttle service however you can only pre-booked drop-off journeys.I had a few booking issues upon arrival, upon resolving them on day 1. When I was checking out the same issues rose again and they tried to charge me the whole hotel bill although this was previously paid for.Guest services were poor and they never came back to me with follow up queries, also they seem to change the shuttle service times without prior approval or notice.Would not recommend staying here.

Traffic is horrible getting there from the south bay but the location is nice with many restaurants nearby. The rooms were top notch, what you would expect from a hotel. They tend to reuse their signs so you will notice wear and tear. The gym is the best part. It is HUGE. you will definitely get lost, it has everything you need from free weights to crossfit, even tennis courts, basketball courts, and racquet ball courts. Service is great if you need it. Didnt need much of it besides asking where things are. Great place.

I am currently in this hotel for an 8 day stay, teaching a workshop. I travel extensively, and am familiar with the services and amenities commonly available in hotels. My experience here isnt good. My clients have been charged fees for rooms and set ups that are way out of line with other hotels, and, so far, those set ups have been problematic. Additionally, this hotel is situated beyond walking distance of anything at all. Both times Ive tried to use the hotel van transportation have not been successful. The first time, the van was unavailable and wouldnt be back for over an hour. The second time, when I asked to have an OTC cold remedy picked up at Walgreens, 2.6 miles away, I was told that wouldnt be possible. I got different reasons for that depending upon whom I was speaking with. At no time did anyone try to help solve my problem, and the supervisor on duty was rather curt about it all. Additionally, the restaurant is under construction, the dinner eating area is in a small lobby, and the menu is limited. However, it will say breakfast is pretty good. Get the bacon.

The hotel is nice but they are sticklers on providing complimentary water bottles in the rooms. I didnt get any upon checking in and they would only give me one when I asked at the front desk. This is very annoying, especially if you are a healthy person and drink lots of water. I stay at competitor brands and they always provide more water if requested at no charge.

The location was very central to a lot of shopping which was helpful since we were staying for a wedding. We did run into an issue trying to get an extended check out. After multiple phone calls we were out of luck with a manager telling us they would call back once they heard back from the house cleaning manager. We were not asking for anything more than the website had stated; pay up to 50% of your room. Left in limbo we were forced to cancel the additional plans we were trying to make and to make it worse, the manager never called back to let us know a final status. It would have been helpful for the staff to be aware that their website does not state the regulations they were telling us on the phone. This disconnect between the hotel and theird website will keep me from booking with Hilton/DoubleTree in the future since I felt there really was nothing done for me but a quick yeah, well call you back to get rid of me.

Wow... this was so disappointing that I drove home and got up at 5am so I could drive back for my appointment the next day rather than staying in the Doubletree. So many things are wrong with this place. Lets start with the fact that the noise from the freeway is LOUD and is LOUD in the room. Second I paid extra for a room that was supposed to have a deluxe queen bed well apparently the Doubletree has the shortest queen beds in the world. I even went to the front desk and asked did you accidentally give me a double bed? Front desk says nope that a queen. Wow! Queens that are SHORTER than 7 feet long. I am 66 and I know that a queen is 7 foot long. The other guests were noisy. But that wasnt a surprise they had to be louder than the freeway noise. All in all stay away from this train wreck. I would have given one star if they didnt have the wonderful cookies.

No offense to Spanish speakers, just rude when they were having loud conversation in front of me. This hotel was kinda just middle of the road. Ive paid the same for better. It was clean and nice enough, but the walls seemed unusually thin (particularly by the door) the WiFi was uunnecessarily complicated to connect to (we had to subscribe to some hotel email list in order to get free access), and the air conditioner did not cool the room because rather than being directed towards the actual room it shot the air across the near wall. Everything else was pleasant enough though I suppose.

I thought this was a pretty good doubletree hotel close to the freeway that isn’t far from a lot of restaurants and fast food places. Nice pool outside and the restaurant has happy hour deals. One perk is the gym that is connected to the hotel and is a full gym with tennis courts, basketball, plenty of weighs and cardio. They have full buffet breakfast that is free with Hilton diamond (possibly gold). The only reason I didn’t give a 5 stars was the maintenance being performed while I was there. My room smelled like someone spilled paint thinner and had to move rooms. I came back the next week and I could still smell a faint scent.

The negatives: decor and furniture needs updating; no laundry for guests to use; Hilton charges money for guests to use fast internet, and the free internet is spotty; and no free breakfast for guests. The saving grace for this hotel is the free gym: the hotel is connected to a real gym which guests can use for free. This gym has over six indoor tennis courts; a large numbers of exercise machines and free weights; exercise and spin classes; a rock climbing wall; towel service; and more. If you are into fitness, this is the best hotel to stay at.

This is a wonderful hotel with great staff and services. The beds are super comfortable withl different pillows, soft and firm. It has been recently remodeled and is lovely.My favorite part of staying at the Pleasanton Doubletree, besides the yummy chocolate chip cookies, is having Club Sport access included. The attached Club Sport is the biggest health club in Northern California and has fantastic group fitness classes and every possible machine and amenity.The restaurant has been very accommodating for our vegetarian diet. They even have soy milk available. Although our visits are months apart, the restaurant staff remembers our preferences!Another plus is that the hotel provides free newspapers. The only minus is that they charge for Internet service.

WORST hotel experience of my entire life. First off, they deleted someone elses reservation and put mine over theirs sending me a statement and receipt for nights I did not stay there. Upon check-in, I was checked in to that other persons room! I went to the room and their stuff was all over the room! Luckily they were not in there at the time. I was moved to another room, but later that night, my Hilton account was compromised and points were stolen for more reservations I did not make! After a great deal of time on the phone with support and thinking that the issue was resolved, it happened a 2nd time the next day! Something shady is definitely going on with this hotel and management there was no help at all. I may never stay at another Hilton again after this. Had a lovely view of the freeway interchange right in front of my window and the sun never set for me, either. Oh wait, that was just one of those outside spotlights illuminating the entire front of the hotel and most of all the name and logo. Thats why I couldnt just fully love my stay, but: the windows are great at blocking out the traffic noise and the curtains also do a wonderful job of blocking out the lights. One word of caution, though: you do want a car because the location is very much out in the middle of nowhere.

I accidentally left a personal item in my room. I spoke with housekeeping facilities to have my item shipped back to my home address. I used a specific personal card to provide my personal item (sunglasses) back to my residence. There aren’t many places that allow dogs, we stayed here because they did. The room was dirty, the toilet wasn’t cleaned, there weren’t many towels, there was not any soap. The beds were small, they did have nicer blankets, they had yummy cookies at the front desk. There weren’t extra blankets in room. The fridge wasn’t cold. I felt like the room could have been cleaner, I wondered “did they even clean this room?” There were hairs on beds that weren’t ours.

I travel to the Livermore/Pleasanton area frequently on business, and I have found the Hilton Pleasanton at The Club to be the best hotel in the area. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed, access from the freeway is easy, and the fitness club is fantastic. The hotel staff are professional and courteous. I am a light sleeper, and I found the rooms to be quiet, particularly when I left the air conditioning fan running, The only drawback is that the restaurants are (as always with Hiltons) expensive for the quality of food, so it is better to eat off-campus.
