It smells so good upon entering. They have a lot of 🍩 different donuts on the shelves. Friendly service and it’s open 24 hours. We got 6 donuts (half dozen) for $9.50 which is similar to other donut shops.

I’m a person who loves sweets and love making them. I’m not into just anything though. I like sweets that are baked good and have a nice flavor not like store brought ones. Donuts are one of my favorites. I have tried so many places before but honestly this was the best donut I have ever tried. Not only is it fresh always and open 24 hours but the donuts are well balanced in sugar. It’s not too sweet. Some donuts you feel are not fresh or the donut itself without the filling or frosting is sweet so with the other stuff it becomes sweeter and not enjoyable for me. Ever since I tried it I have never found anything better. It’s my place for sure and always. Thank you donut king My God bless you and all the workers there who make people happy ❤️

Delicious everything! Best muffins in town. They are the real deal: Fresh, fluffy, sweet not the dense bland variety found in so many places. Discovered Donut King while trying to find treats for a friend in a hospital nearby. That was 4 years ago, and they have not disappointed since.

These donuts are so good! I found this donut shop through Google and had good ratings. So my husband and I drove about 15 minutes to this shop and it was worth the drive. These donuts are so good and were super fresh considering we went around 9 pm. This is definitely going to be my go-to place for donuts!

I really love donuts. 🍩We stopped at Donat King for the first time and the donuts really turned out to be very tasty.A huge selection of different donuts with and without filler. 🍩🍮🥧🥮When hungry eyes run wide when choosing. This is my favorite place to get apple fritters; they are big so I usually cut them in half. All of their other donuts are also really good! They have drinks but no dairy-free options for the coffee or thai tea. Tables if you wanna eat there and open 24 hours!!

Seems like a donut shop on every corner these days, but this one stands above the others. The donuts are fresh, and plentiful (most shops are limited and sell out by noon, but not here - they bake all day). All the standard varieties. The Apple fritters are the real deal - not those fake ones with Apple sauce squirted in the middle. Friendly staff, great variety, good price and they dont go stale in an hour or two - what more could you want!!

This morning at 5 am my wife and I went there and was asked by a homeless gentleman if we could get him a cup of coffee with cream and sugar before entering. My wife got her ddozen for work. I ordered hot chocolate for us and a coffee and doughnuts for the gentleman and refused service because I was buying for him also. My Mom always told me to help people if they was hungry. She passed away last month. After years of coming to this 24hr place I will never spend another dollar at this place. You should think twice about this place because this man that served us has no heart and its cold out very disappointed with this place today.

My brother told me this place has the best donuts but I didnt believe him at first because it doesnt look like much from the outside. But he was right, the donuts here are amazing! Much better than Crispy Kreme which was my usual favorite donut place. The donuts taste fresh and fluffy, not greasy. The service was great too.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Citrus Heights. I didnt expect much when I first walked in to be honest.But the place is clean, plenty of parking lots outside, easy to find. I choose the donut holes, eclair and a regular donut. The donut holes are awesomeeee. Im surprised. The total was like $4.7 something. I mean its just so cheap, too affordable for the quality. I’ll go back to try their coffee if I have a chance.

I absolutely recommend this establishment! I come in and love the donuts each time. They arent burnt or oily. It smells Devine. The owner is super sweet, but sometimes he seems a little tired. Super friendly staff. Went in to pick up donuts super early! (3am) got my coffee, orange juice, chocolate milk and 2 dozen donuts. Donuts were super fresh and very tasty! Its open 24/7! Definitely going to be a return customer. Kids loved the donuts, they were a hit! 10/10 would recommend!

Went to buy donuts on Mothers Day and the 1st 2 places were sold out. So I stopped in at the donut king. They were fully stocked and were making more. Its a little more out of the way than my usual Sunday donut run but I gotta say these donuts were dynamite ! They have an excellent selection and if youve never had one you should try the bacon donut!! Everything is better with bacon! I was a little worried when I walked in because there was a lot of cars in the parking lot and people inside but they had 3 people working the counter. They moved customers through very quickly! So I guess you could say that donut king rules!!!

Went back today and bought 6 donuts not all the fancy ones., this time it only cost me $ 8.50 . I used to pay $6.00 for a dozen donuts. This place has all the classics. They are well formed, the frostings tastes like they should, they arent over cooked or under cooked. I was here at 2pm and there was a terrific selection. I hate going in to a donut shop and finding they are out of most types of donuts or that the ones the do have must have been there since IKE was president. This is not that place. They seem to have a following if regulars that keep coming back. Give them a try I believe youll enjoy your purchases.

This was our first time there, plus it was on Christmas. They are open 24 hours a day. Our kids wanted donuts. What I have tried their custard filling is very good, just a little to sweet for my taste. I didnt notice a tin taste so I think it is not from a can but made in house. It looks just like any other donut shop, so you expect it to taste like any other donut shop.. that is, for me at least, usually hit or miss depending on the day or time. Hands down the best donuts anywhere! Open 24/7 even on holidays. No excuses not to hit them up and try their fresh made delicious treats. Tip: new batches are made fresh from scratch right in front of you every 4 hours or so. If youre into that kind of thing, check out the viewing window to the right of the counter. You can show up anytime assured to find a near-full display of fresh donuts to choose from.Donuts are delicious. Of two donut stores in Sacramento that I highly recommend this is my favorite. Its a 24 hr bakery and I always get fresh donuts. They have an amazing maple or chocolate bar with cream in the middle. Hardly any donuts and the milk I wanted was no good the guy said as he put it back in the fridge. Couldnt get a smoothie cause he was out. Complete waste of time driving here. The BEST donut holes ever. Creme Puffs to die for!! Custard, lemon, blueberry and raspberry filled are all lightly glazed. Cinnamon twists you can actually taste cinnamon in. Cake donuts so light with just a hint of nutmeg. The scones, OMG, the scones... Lee is the best and I think he has a cot. They are open 24/7 for cravings any time. YUMMMMM!!
