Donald exceeded all expectations, and I was thoroughly impressed with his services as he assisted me with the sale of an inherited, family home. He consistently demonstrated that he was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and ethical in all his dealings and his strategic approach and excellent negotiating skills helped to secure multiple offers that were significantly above the listing price and included very favorable terms. Throughout the entire process, he was always available to answer questions, provide advice, give status updates, and provide guidance on the next steps. As a first-time home seller, I had serious reservations about being involved in a real estate sales transaction. However, Donald proved to be an expert trail guide through what was, for me, unfamiliar and potentially challenging new territory. I am extremely satisfied with the process and the results of the transaction. We saw that Donald had listed the property next door to our commercial property in Duarte. We decided to list ours for sale with him as well, and do a joint sale because combining two lots was worth a lot more than one itself. It became a very complicated sale for a number of reasons (mostly because we had to buy our tenants out of their lease in order to sell), but Donald was there to give us advice on the entire process and make sure escrow opened and closed smoothly.Mostly, we appreciated that he had our best interests at heart the entire time and wanted to make sure we were protected in all the contracts that we signed — and that we got a fair deal.One of the biggest examples of this was regarding the buyer’s agent’s commission.At the end of the negotiation process, we had weeded out multiple buyers and had just 2 buyers left. We ended up choosing the one with much shorter terms, but a lower purchase price. Donald pointed out that the buyer with longer terms wasn’t being represented by a broker because they were a developer and negotiating on their own behalf, and therefore there was no buyer’s agent commission to be paid. In our counter offer to the other buyer, Donald made sure that the buyer paid his own agent’s commission to even things out a bit. The buyer balked at this at first, but eventually accepted our counter offer. I thought it was a great catch on Donald’s part, and icing on the cake for us!Definitely reach out to Donald for all your real estate needs.

Living in the Silicon Valley area, North CA, and from there, remotely, I helped my advanced aged and handicapped sister, living in an assisted living facility in Orange County, to sell her property, in County of Los Angeles, at the time the housing market did not favor sellers. Donald took me and my wife from zero to homeowners. When we started the process of looking for a home, I knew literally nothing about buying a home -- I just knew I wanted to buy one eventually. Donald was an all-star at every step in the process. He patiently answered all of our questions, explained things in plain English, and was always available to answer questions when we had them. And we had tons of them.I am generally a pretty high-strung person, but Donalds expertise and professionalism kept the waters calm for us throughout the entire process. Donald always checked in, advised us on strategy, ensured that he was aligned with what we wanted, and then would just execute and give updates as needed.Buying a house is a crazy and complex process -- especially for a first time home buyer, but Donald made it as enjoyable as possible for us.
